$F71 and i were with the crowd of people in the small area of the boat. The boat seemed to be a small lake cruiser, about five meters wide and about twelve or fifteen meters long. It was traveling north, and i looked to the north to see the narrow river ahead of us. We seemed to be moving quickly with the fast-moving water. I turned to look at the captain, who was standing just to the south of me, as he said something about the river. I felt concerned about the speed of the water in the river. The river seemed to be only about five meters wide, and the blue-tinted water rolled quickly down the channel. I felt nervous about the jagged boulders that stuck out along the shores of the river. I thought that it would be dangerous for us to hit the rocks. I then noticed something in the water that looked like a small part of a tree. It passed to the west of us, heading south. I looked back to the captain, asking about the dangers in the water. When i looked back to the north, i could see that another boat was coming from the north. We passed to the east of it, but a large tree was floating in the water just behind the other boat. I worried that we might hit it directly. The long trunk of the tree turned so that the top of the trunk was facing southeast. We would hit the tree, but it would glance off the side of the boat. We did not seem to be going that fast relative to the tree when we hit it. I looked at the northwestern end of the tree, where the roots bulged out. I hoped that they did not get caught on the bow of our boat. The tree rotated in the water after we hit it, and the roots passed out of our way. I turned and headed back to the south a little. I said something to the other person about the dangers in the river. I then looked up again. I noticed that large rocks with square corners were sticking up from the water in a line down the center of the river. The boat moved to the western side of the channel to avoid them. I was then aware of another boat behind us. It had been moving very quickly down the western side of the river, but it had to stop when we pulled in front of it. Our boat then swerved to the east, crossing the center line and getting back into the eastern lane of the river. As the smaller white boat passed us, i realized that the river was divided into two lanes. I watched the rough rocks in the center pass as we hurried to the north. I then headed south, into the next room. The room i had been in was filled with other people, who seemed to be classmates of mine. The next room seemed to be wider east to west, and it seemed to have a wooden floor. I moved to the west and looked out another window to the north. I could still see the fast-moving water of the river. The river now seemed to be wider. I felt nervous, and i tried to get a better view of where we were going. I was still standing in front of the doorway that i had walked through to get to the larger room. A doorway was in the northern wall just to the west of me. I started toward it, and $F71 was following me. As the man passed me, i stopped to look at the map on the wall. It showed a coastal area, with the larger body of water to the south. The land was ragged and bulged to the south. A curved river arced from a deep triangular bay on the eastern side of the map to the northwest and then to the southwest. I thought that this was the river that we were on. I looked more closely, trying to remember the name of the river. The captain had just told me the name, but i wanted to remember it. I did not see any writing on the map, but as i zoomed in, i could see more detail. The river seemed to be named something like “Spring Creek”, but there were a few more words after that. I then thought that it was something like “Spring Hill”. I noticed that the third word was in lowercase, like a conjunction or preposition. The last word seemed to be “Reef”. I remembered that the captain had said something about the river that suggested a reef or coral area. I thought about the rocks that ran down the center of the channel. I moved to the west and stopped in the doorway. A small square room with a pale wooden floor was to the north of me. I had been looking through the doorway and across the room to see out the small window in the northern wall. I said something to the man to the east of me. He seemed like $F71. I started across the room, and the man passed me and headed to the window. As we crossed the small empty room, i was aware of a closed white door with red letters on it to the west. I thought that the cabin to the west might be the captain’s cabin, and i wondered if we should be in this area. I looked out the window to the north, seeing the churning river ahead of us. The view seemed broken, and i was looking at different parts of the river. I then noticed the wide waterfall ahead of us. It seemed to falling from a few meters above us, but i worried that the boat might go over it. I backed up a little and repositioned myself. I now saw a huge wave standing to the northwest of the boat. It rose taller than the boat, but it did not seem to be moving. Instead, the water was flowing over the top of it, as though it were a giant rapid in the water. I felt surprised by the water, and i backed away from the window a little. I then noticed a surfer in a dark-gray and black wetsuit riding down the eastern face of the wave. This was a sport in this area, and the people on the boat with me were enjoying the event. I looked around for the waterfall, nervous about going over it. I was standing in the room with the rest of my classmates again, near the front of the boat. I looked down, noticing that we were at the top of a large waterfall. The bluish water poured over the top of the wide falls, tumbling down and out of sight to the north. I felt nervous, but our boat had turned to the east and started along the side of the falls. The misty land below us seemed to be part of a city. The captain was standing to the south of me, and he said something about the water. I felt that we were not in any danger here. I looked to the north and down, noticing that we were standing on the edge of the top of a building. The water was pouring over the edge of the building below us, tumbling into an unseen city below. This place seemed beautiful. I looked around at the classmates with me. They were wandering around, talking about the area. To the south of us, tall towers rose, and water poured from the waterfall over them. We were at the bottom of a large waterfall. $A162 crossed through the crowd to the south of me, heading east. He had told me something about this place, and i reached out to grab his arm as he passed, asking him something about the area. I then looked up at the waterfall to the south. The towers were tall skyscrapers, and they all seemed square in cross section and pale gray on the outside. They seemed to be apartments, with terraces and balconies around the outsides. Plants grow down from the balconies as the water tumbled over the buildings. Some of the buildings seemed to be obscured by the falling water, and i thought that the massive waterfall to the south must be pouring down over the buildings. The area seemed beautiful. I talked with the others about it as i looked around. I then stared again to the south, trying to see the waterfall’s cliff through the greenish mist of falling water. As some of the mist cleared, i realized that the water must be falling from the tops of the buildings and not from a waterfall. $A162 then said something about the compartment that the boat had been in, and i realized that he was telling us that the ship had not gone down through the shaft but up. I told this to some of the people near me, and i felt a little relieved. I remembered the boat traveling into a square shaft. I had thought that the water in the shaft had dropped, bringing the ship down to a lower level, but i realized now that it had brought us up to a higher level. As i spoke to the person to the south of me, i realized that this made more sense. I told the person that we were not at the bottom of a waterfall but at the top. We had come down the river, which descended to the north, so if we were going to travel back to the south, to the starting place, we would need to go to a higher elevation so that we could again descend to our destination.

I stood on the eastern end of the room with the others as we talked about something. Most of the others seemed to be to the west of me, but a few were moving around near me. I noticed a man to the north of me. He was wearing a tank top and seemed athletically built. I listened to the person to the west of me talk, but i watched the man as he picked up something from the ground and moved off to the southeast. His head was shaved, and i noticed that he had two small red dots painted on his head, one on each side of his temple, just above and forward of his ears. I turned to respond to the person talking. I was with another group of people here, and i was trying to pay attention to them. Two other men then stood up to the north of me. They had been lounging in the low chairs on the ground. They also seemed athletic and nicely built. They pushed each other jokingly, and i watched them play. They then crouched down, and i realized that they were practicing wrestling moves. The man to the east wore a pair of red shorts with a blue tank top, and the man on the western side was wearing something that seemed dark blue with white highlights. They knelt down for a moment as they practiced wrestling form, but they never moved to take down the other person. They paused for a moment, looking up and to the southwest. They seemed to be listening to someone. I felt awkward watching them, thinking that i should be paying attention to the people i was with. They then started moving to the southwest, and the man in the white tank top came back from the south. He bent over to pick up a chair to the north of me, and then he walked just to the west of me. As he approached, i noticed that he was nicely muscled across his shoulders and chest. His head seemed oddly egg shaped, though. He glanced at me as he stopped to the northwest of me, and i noticed the two small red dots on the sides of his temple. The dots had a sharp corner that pointed down and slightly toward the man’s eyes. The man moved off to the east. Someone to the west of me then mentioned the athletes, commenting on their clothing. He said something about skirts. I looked to the east as another man came from the southeast. He was the man i had seen earlier. He was wearing a tight shirt that was designed like the Spiderman costume. It had half sleeves and only came down to his upper abdomen. I realized that the man was not actually wearing shorts. Instead, he was wearing a short blue miniskirt, which looked like something a cheerleader would wear. He smiled at us as he passed, and the skirt flipped up in the back, showing the roundness of his buttocks muscles. He smiled at us, and someone referred to him as “Toby”. I remembered seeing him before, and i had noticed then that he had nice muscular legs. The man continued to the northwest, and i turned to talk to the others. I was now standing in an outdoor area. I thought that we should be getting to someplace. I started walking to the north, along the western edge of the wide asphalt parking lot. We seemed to be in the northwestern corner of the Triphammer Mall lot, but it was the southwestern corner of this lot. $F67 was walking with me, to the east of me. It was good to see her, and we had been discussing something that we had to do as we walked to the north. I had said something about the others, who had been in the building to the east of us. I felt excited about the area in the building, and i explained it to $F67. I thought that it was in one of the shops in the corridor of the mall, and i thought about how to get there. I knew that we could enter from the central entrance and then turn to the left down the main corridor of the mall. The mall building seemed to be to the south of me as i pictured this, and i would be turning to the east. The place was on the northern wall of the corridor. We continued to the north, and i noticed the dry tan stalks of the trees that grew along the western side of the lot. The trees were about three or four centimeters thick, and they mostly leaned to the south. The trunks looked similar to bamboo, but they did not have any segments. Just above our heads, the trunks fanned out into thin brittle branches. I picked up a few trunks, and i placed them in various positions with the standing trunks as i talked to $F67 about the place. I was trying to encourage her to go to the place. It seemed like a nice place, and i knew that she would like it. I felt a little uneasy, though, thinking that she was too encouraged about the place from how i was talking. I worried that she might not like it as much as i had described it. We continued to the north as we talked, and i put a few more sticks into the ground near the standing trees. As we reached the northern end of the trees, i looked at the small branching stick that i had in my hand. It was too small to do anything with, so i tossed it to the west and turned to the east to follow $F67 to the building. We were now just past the northwestern corner of the building, and i told $F67 that we could go into the northern end of the building. I then thought that we would have to head back to the south, down the main corridor. The place we were looking for would be on the western side of the corridor. I noticed the store on the northeastern corner. It had a sign with red illuminated letters above the door. It seemed to be a gift shop with cheap junk. $F67 said that we should go in through one of the stores, and i realized that she had named a store that was a few stores to the south. I looked down the side of the mall. The northwestern corner seemed to stand out from the rest of the mall building, and four or five small shops were in the protruding area on the western side of the building. Some of the shops seemed like cheap souvenir shops. As we approached the mall, i motioned to the second store in, which had several items on display on round raised platforms. Several of the items seemed to be old locomotive engines. I pointed to one, saying “You don’t want to go into the train... that train... the taffy train store?” She glanced through the window at the train engine that was on the shelf. It was about a deci tall and a two decis long, looking very compressed front to back. It was designed to be decorative. She made a comment about the type of store, asking if i actually liked stores like that. I told her that i liked looking at the cheap things in the junk stores. We headed to a store near the southern end of the shops, and we entered the building. The inside of the building was dimly lighted. Something had changed. I said something about the man who had come to talk to us, but i realized that $F67 was not with me anymore. I felt strange, wondering what had changed in the situation. I knew that the man had come to talk to me, but i thought that i could tell him that he could sit with $F67 and me to talk. $F67 did not seem to be here, though. The scene had changed too quickly, and i wondered what had happened.

I stood with the others in the barn. We had been doing something to the southeast, which seemed like a running event. We had come to this place, and we were talking about something. Four or five of us stood in the middle of the barn, near the western wall. A man came into the barn from the east, and he brought a large bag with him. The bag looked like an old army pack bag. It seemed to be made of dull-tan canvas. He placed the bag against the western wall, just to the northwest of me, and then pulled out several long dark strands that were wound together. The strands looked like fuses. He carried the ends of the strands to us and handed them to one of the men in my ground and ran to the southeast, leaving the building. The strands seemed to be about three meters long. I felt suspicious of the bag that he had brought. It seemed large enough that running might not get someone far enough away before it exploded. Someone lit the fuses, and they started burning. A second man moved near the bag, pulling open the drawstring at the top and peering in to see what was there. He must have seen a bit of explosives. He looked at us with a worried expression, and then he grabbed the fuses and tried to pull them from the bag, but they would not come. We stood for a moment, not quite sure what to do. I thought that we should start running, and i started moving to the east. I remembered that the explosion should be large enough that we would not be able to get far enough away, but i realized that the man had started running from the area. I thought that he must have thought that he could get away. I yelled to the others to run, and i started running to the east. We left the barn and started through the tall dry weeds of the field to the east. After running about a hundred meters to the northeast, i stopped and crouched down on the ground. I seemed to be near the southern end of a stone wall. I crouched behind the stone wall and looked back at the barn. The barn was a two-level structure, with stone foundations on the ends and wooden vertical planking in the center that was painted gray. I watched the barn for a moment, realizing that the explosion was going to be shown in slow motion. I watched the side of the barn, wondering what would happen to it. I thought that most of the eastern wall would crumble, but then i remembered that it had not crumbled in the explosion. Only the central portion was blown out. This seemed strange. It seemed that the parts of the building that were stone, which seemed to be the corners, would collapse when the explosion occurred. I was aware of someone to the north of me, behind the stone wall as well. I watched the barn for a moment, but nothing happened. I wondered if the explosion had happened already and simply had not traveled to the front wall. I waited for a moment. The wooden wall then seemed to shift slightly. I watched it, trying to see if i could tell that it was moving. The wall seemed to bulge forward, but it did not shatter yet. This was the explosion pushing out the sides of the building. I waited a moment, and the scene seemed to change. I spoke to the others about what had happened. We were now standing in an outdoor area that seemed to be on the northeastern side of the larger area. We had just finished a running event, and we were talking about something. We seemed to be talking for a while as we slowly moved back to the southwest, toward our cars. The others had to do something, and they were talking about how they were going to do it. They seemed indecisive about it. A woman with shoulder-length dark hair stood to the north of me. She was shorter than i and had a round face. She seemed hesitant to get the money from the ATM machine because the account belonged to the woman and man who were standing to the east of me. The woman and man had wanted the other woman to take the money, but she still felt uncomfortable. I thought that there should be no issue with her taking the money from the machine. I knew that the camera would see who had taken the money, but it should not matter. I asked the woman if she minded as we started to head to the west, toward our cars. A leafless bush was just to the west of me, and the woman started around the northern side of it. Our cars seemed to be to the southwest of the bush. I followed the woman, explaining that she should be fine. The woman took out her driver’s license and walked to the police officer, who was standing to the west of the bush, which had very thin twigs for branches. It seemed that everyone had shown their licenses to the police officer, and i wondered if i should do the same. I took out my wallet and opened it up, pulling the license from the slot on the right side. I walked to the south on the western side of the bush as i looked at the license. It was mostly yellow, with a blue stripe near the top and a white stripe above the blue at the top of the card. I rounded a car and turned to the east, handing the female officer my licenses. I asked her if she wanted to see it. She took the license, glanced at it, and handed it back to me, saying “No.” I felt amused as i took my license and put it back in my wallet. I walked to the east, thinking that i could rejoin the others.

We had been doing something in the area to the east of the larger area, and then were driving to the north. I turned the car to the west, down the narrow road that seemed to run along the southern side of the large parking lot. The parking lot seemed to be to the south and west of a grocery store, which was a large plain building. My parents were in the front seat of the car, but i seemed to be driving the car. As the car turned west, i felt awkward, realizing that i was leaning over my father’s head to turn the steering wheel. My mother was in the passenger’s seat, and my father was in the driver’s seat. I realized how difficult it should be to steer the car from this position. I focused on the steering wheel so that i did not drive the car off the road. About twenty meters down the driveway to the grocery store, i turned to the north, heading toward the open area of the parking lot to the east of the store. I thought that i would have to circle around the outside of the lot to get to someplace to the north. I turned to the east in the lot and started to drive around the outside. Several other cars were moving with me. Medians separated the road around the outside of the lot from the main lot. About halfway up the eastern side of the lot, a lane ran to the west from the perimeter road. I thought that we would have to circle all the way around to get to he entrance that was in the center of the northern side of the lot. I felt uncertain. I started to circle to the west, thinking that i could cut through the northeastern part of the lot. As i turned, another car turned with me. I seemed to be watching the car i was in as it turned to the northeast of me. I then looked to the north to see that a median ran down the western side of the smaller area that i had turned into. I realized that i would not be able to drive out of the area unless i went back out to the east, the way i had come in. I felt annoyed and i started to circle to the south. I told my mother that this section of the lot was blocked off. I walked down the steep hill that was the median between the small section and the road that had run to the west from the perimeter road. I realized that i was walking suddenly, and it seemed strange. I looked back to the north, up the hill at the small car that i had been driving. My parents still seemed to be in i, and i still seemed to be driving it to the east. The hill that i was on was covered with brown mulch chips, and it seemed to have dry plants growing on it between some low pine bushes. I turned to the west. The road to the north was just ahead of me, and i moved to the intersection, talking to the other man to the west of me. He seemed to be $F80. I said something to him as i stood just to the east of the intersection and looked to the northwest at the road to the north. The road descended steeply down the hill. The land on both sides of the road rose to the parking lot above. The road ran about a hundred meters before ending on an east-to-west road. Beyond the intersection, to the north was a small body of water. I said something to $F80 as i looked down at the drainage ditch on the eastern side of the road. It was about a meter wide and rounded, and it was paved with asphalt. A quick torrent of water was running down it. I put the white pillow into the water, thinking that i could use it as a sled to ride down the flume. I said something else to $F80, and then i put both pillows into the water and slided down the trench. At the bottom, i was again talking to $F80, who was standing to the west of me. We were on the southern side of a room, and the southern side seemed to be the street at the bottom of the hill. We moved a little to the east, looking into the open area that was the restaurant to the north of us. Several people were moving around in the restaurant, and i thought that we would have to wait to get in. I mentioned the name of the restaurant, which seemed to be Barton. It sounded familiar, and i thought it was a restaurant associated to a college. The man and i talked for a little while as we watched people to the north of us moving around.

I had been running with $G4, and we seemed to be on the southern side of a small city. A canal or narrow water channel ran just to the north of us, traveling east to west. The area around the canal was covered with green grass, and thin trees seemed to run along the top edges of the channel. I was speaking to someone as we moved to the east. We had been waiting for something in this area, but i wanted to go on with the run. I crossed the water channel over a narrow bridge. On the northern side, i turned to the west and started running down the southern side of a street. A narrow grassy park was to the south of the sidewalk that i followed. The park seemed to run about ten meters to the river. I jogged west, looking at the buildings ahead of us. This was on a trail that i was following. I was aware of the small plaza that was to the north of me, though. I knew that the trail would head west and then turn north, heading around the block to the north of me. I headed north, stopping at the restaurant that was on the northern side of the small square parking lot, which seemed to be set into the southern side of the plaza. I wanted to do something in the restaurant, but i would have to wait to be server. I stood to the southwest of a register, where other people were gathered. The queue seemed short, but i thought that we would have to wait for something. I felt a little impatient, wondering what i should do. I had arrived before the other $G4, but i knew that they would be following me soon. I looked to the south as i waited. I could see several people running to the west down the street. They were on the sidewalk that i had been on earlier. I knew that they would have to stop at the white building to the southwest, which seemed to be an old factory building. It seemed to be a simple multifloor cement building with metal feed pipes coming out on the sides. I had stopped there before running north around the block. I had circled to the east on the northern side of the block and then come into this plaza from the east. As i watched some of the people jog, i spotted $F71 jogging to the south of me. I realized that i had left him at the last stop, which was on the southern side of the river. I felt bad, thinking that he had probably wondered where i had gone, because i had simply run on the trail. I worried about him, but i was not sure what to do. I turned my attention back to the restaurant. I then realized that several other $G4 had stopped at another restaurant to the southeast of me. Someone to the west of me mentioned the restaurant, referring to it as “Sangham”. I walked to the restaurant, hoping to meet some of the others and get server. I felt anxious about something. I thought about $F71 again, realizing that he would probably not be able to stay here. I thought that he would have to get to work soon.

I was walking along the trail through the forested area with several other people. The forest seemed damaged by fire, and i thought that this area was in a postapocalyptic setting. I felt anxious as we moved to he southwest, following the curve of a recessed area between two bulges in a mountain ridge. I felt very cautious, watching out for something. It seemed that we had to remain hidden from the others. We seemed to be on the southern side of a large wilderness area. We were just starting to head southwest, following the dirt trail that ran across the face of the hill to the west of us. The trail seemed to curve around the hill from southwest to northwest, about two-thirds of the way up. It seemed to rising only slightly as it headed west. I was aware of the sky to the northwest of us, feeling cautious of the others finding us. The others ahead of us had stopped. As we caught up, i realized that they had captured some men in green and purple uniforms. I felt cautious of them, wondering if it was safe to hold them. I knew that we could not let them go, because they would report us to the others. The mountain that we were on seemed conical, and it seemed to stick out to the south from the ridge that we had been walking on. We followed the path around the southern face of the mountain to the western side. From there, it seemed that the path continued to the northern side of the hill, climbing toward the top. I was then aware of the large smooth structure above us. I could see the hill from above. A large flattened dull-black pyramid structure was on the top of the hill. Its wide edges had overhung the path that we were hiking on, and we were climbing toward it. It seemed very strange and out of place here, but i knew that it was something significant. I knew that the others were wary of this area, but i thought that the area was very special. I thought that we would be able to enjoy living in this area rather than just surviving in it. As we rounded the northeastern side of the hill, about five meters below the lower surface of the smooth black object, i looked out over the valley to the southeast. The sky was mottled with different shades of red and yellow, and it seemed very beautiful. I pointed this out to the others. It felt very good to be here, and i stood to admire the sunset for a while.

I headed up the stairs in the narrow stairwell on the westerns side of the building. I headed up the stairs to the west and then to the east. I came out into the hallway to the east of the stairwell. I thought that i was in the science building on the college campus. I stopped just outside the door, noticing that the hallway did not look as i had expected. A short hallway ran to the north from where i was. The walls of the corridor were rough cement and painted gray. I realized that i was not in the correct laboratory building. I felt annoyed, thinking that i must have entered the other science building on the campus. I headed back into the stairwell and started to descend. As i walked down the stairs, i realized that the stairwell was filled with old laboratory equipment and boxes. I felt frustrated as i stepped around them to get down the stairs. At the lower level, a longer flight of stairs ran to the west. As i descended it, i suddenly realized that i had forgotten my jacket. I had left it in the laboratory upstairs. I stopped, feeling more annoyed, and i turned around to head back up the stairs. I headed to the east, into the northern side of the entry hall. This room seemed like the atrium of Mudd Hall, and i had entered from the doorway on the northern end of the western wall. I felt indecisive and not quite sure what i should do. I held a spiral notebook in my right hand. A man was then to the east of me. He took the notebook from me and flipped through the pages. We started reading some of what i had written. I seemed to know the man, because it did not seem unusual for him to check through my things. He read the words for a moment, and then he moved to the west of me. We were now on the western side of a class room, which seemed to have black laboratory tables to the east of us. The man moved to the whiteboard on the western wall and started writing out mathematical equations. I knew that the equations were based on what i had written in the notebook. I felt amused as i looked over the equations, and i started to smile. My reaction seemed to surprised the woman to the south of me, and she asked if i liked math. I glanced back at the equations on the board. I told her that it was good humored and funny. Two men were now at the board to the west of me, writing equations. I watched them for a moment, thinking that the equations were special in some way. I thought that they had some kind of significance, but i was not aware of what it was. I then turned to the north, noticing short strings of words written on the board to the north of me. The strings of words had some relation to the equations, and i knew that they were important. They seemed related to the mountain that i had been hiking around in my dream. I remembered the dream from a little while ago, and i thought that all of these things were different aspects of the same thing.

12023 April 06

Something had happened in the house, and i felt cautious as i looked to the north and northeast. I was standing with some other people in an area that seemed to be the junction of several rooms. The room to the north of us seemed small, but it was open to the east to a larger room. To the northeast of us seemed to be a stairwell that ascended to the west. The house seemed to extend to the west as well, but we were near the western wall of the room we were in, and the western wall of the room to the north was in line with the wall near us. Something seemed to be happening in the house. Something then moved quickly to the east, passing through the rooms to the north. I felt alert and nervous. I remembered this from before. The small animal had transformed into a sleek cat-like creature. I pictured it with a long bushy tail and a long dog-like face with ears pointed up and back. It had streaked through the rooms, and we had only caught a quick glimpse of it. We ran to the northeast, wondering how we would get away from it. The woman, who had been to the east of me, started running to the east, and i yelled to her. I had to warn her about the animal. It seemed like a domesticated animal, but i knew that it was very dangerous. We had defeated it in the story before, but i knew that it had attacked and killed several people. I urged the woman to be careful, telling her that the creature had been dangerous and was going to attack us. We were standing in the northeastern room now, and the stairs ascended to the west, just to the northwest of us. A narrow corridor seemed to run along the northern side of the stairs. I moved a little to the north, noticing the yellow creature running down the stairs toward us. The woman and i backed to the southeast. The creature crouched to the north of us as we pointed our spears toward it. I knew that the creature would be very fast and that we would not be able to kill it right now, but i hoped that we could chase it away for a little while. As the creature tried to approach us, the woman stabbed it with her spear. She stood to the west of me. I moved to the southeast of the creature, and i stopped it with my spear. The creature seemed to be stuck on the spears, and it could not move. This was different from the last story. I thought that we might be able to kill it. I moved to the west of the woman, looking down at the creature, who was looking up at us menacingly. It seemed to be dying. The woman pulled her spear out of the creature, and i realized that the creature could heal itself. It was not going to stay dead. I stabbed the creature again, opening a long hole along its right side. It head was now facing southwest. Something oozed out of the cut that i had made, and it seemed to be intestines, even though i seemed to be stabbing the creature along its chest. The creature wilted a little, but then it started to lift its head again. I realized that we would not be able to kill it in this way. I was afraid that it would attack us, and i wondered what to do. I quickly told the woman to chop the creature’s head off. She seemed confused for a moment, but i urged her to decapitate the creature. I stabbed it again to try to keep it weak, but it seemed to be getting stronger. The woman was to the west of me now, and she moved to the west of the creature. I realized that she would need room to swing her blade, so i had to move my spear out of the way. She swinged the blade down to the east of her, cutting through the creature’s neck. I moved to the northwest of the creature. It was now stretched over a low surface, which seemed to be a cushioned ottoman. Its head was not fully severed, but it only had a few thin strands connecting it to the body. The body was on the northeastern side of the chair, and the head had fallen down the southwestern side. A thin red ligament held the head to the body, and i realized that it was enough to keep the creature alive. The ligament seemed to contract, pulling the head back toward the body. I warned the woman that she had to cut the string. I yelled at her to fully sever the head, but she hesitated. I felt panicked. I grabbed the black rounded furry head as it was slowly pulled back toward the body. I had to keep it separate. I yelled at the woman to cut the filament.

I was on the western side of the house, in a darkened bedroom. A woman was to the east of me, and we were talking about something. The room to the north of us seemed cluttered with boxes and furniture. I looked to the northwest at the things in the room. A dim light from the west illuminated the things. We then turned to the east and started down the hill. The hall was narrow, with plain gray walls. I started talking to the others as we moved. I was then in the large room of the house. A wooden counter ran along the northern side of the room, separating the living room area to the south from what seemed like a kitchen area to the north. Several people were seated in stools on the southern side of the counter, and a few people were standing and leaning on the counter from the north. The surface of the counter and the opening over it were lined with a pale tan wood. Much of the room seemed to be surfaced in the same kind of wood. I stopped near the counter and started talking with some of the other people in the room. Some o the people seemed to be relatives of mine, and my mother was standing to the east of me. I moved a little to the west, looking at the things on the counter to the north of me. I noticed a small wooden object that looked like a flower. Someone stood to the north of me, across the counter, and the wooden object was one of a few on the counter. A column rose to the ceiling just to the northeast of me. It separated the wide surface of the counter form the area to the east, where most of the people were gathered. The counter continued along the southern side of the column, but it was only about a deci wide. An answering machine seemed to be on the counter to the west of the column, and two or three smaller objects were to the west of the machine. One of the small objects was the small wooden block with the flower design on top. The block seemed hexagonal or octagonal in cross section at the bottom. The bottom was about three centimeters tall, and five centimeters wide. On top was a multifaceted cone that was about a centimeter tall. At first, the cone looked like a pale flower, with wide petals that had a slightly blue tint. The flower seemed like a rose or carnation. As i picked up the wooden object to look it over, i noticed that the flower was painted on the facets on top. I commented on the object as i turned it in my hand. My mother was to the east of me, and i told her that the object looked interesting. I wondered about the person who owned the house. The house seemed to be filled with many small trinkets. I put the wooden object back down on the counter, noticing that the object to the west of it was smaller, but it did not have an interesting flower painted on the top. I looked up to the north. The wall just to the north of me now was covered with short wooden shelfs, and the shelfs were covered with trinkets. The person who owned this place had many small things. I felt a little uncomfortable, thinking that i had been admiring one of the trinkets. The others continued talking, and i decided to move to the west. This house seemed worn, with old trim on the walls. Someone was with me as i moved to the western side of the room, which was not as well lighted as before. My mother moved to the south of me. She said something about the house. I looked at the western end of the wooden counter that was to the north of us. Another column separated the counter, and the section of the counter to the west of the column was more to the northwest. I said something about the house in reply to my mother’s statement. It seemed that i had just bought this house. I glanced down at a small flat box, which was some kind of electrical equipment. The black metal box sat on the counter, just to the west of the column. I thought that it as left by the previous owner, so i thought that it must be mine now. I started back to the east as i said something to my mother, but i felt interested in the equipment. I backed up a little to look at it. It had two rows of red LEDs on the top, with words printed to the right of each LED in white. I thought that the box was an answering machine, and i thought that i could use a new one. I then thought that it was probably an internet hub. I glanced around at several of the other things on the counter near it. The counter seemed cluttered with things. I decided that they probably belong to the previous owner and that they might still want them. I thought that they had not yet cleaned all of their things from the house. I felt a little disappointed that i could not keep the interesting things. I walked back to the west, again looking at the dimly lighted section of the room. The northern end of the western wall was open to a corridor that ran west. I could see a few empty rooms off to the western side of the corridor. I felt excited about being in this new house. It seemed that i had purchased it not that long ago. My mother was to the south of me as i moved into the corridor, looking at the white wall on the northern side of the hall. A wide rectangular opening was in the upper part of the northern wall, just to the northwest of me. Thin pale wood molding ran around the opening. I wondered if i should make any changes to the new house, and i asked my mother rhetorically. As i moved near the opening, i noticed that the molding at the bottom of the opening was loose. The pieces on the eastern end of the lower side had come away from the wall a little on its western end, and it was sagging below the bottom of the opening. I realized again how worn the house seemed. I would have to fix it up. I continued to the west, and i then thought that i had not yet sold my old house. I thought that i would still have to sell it. I then thought about how far away this house was from my old house. I seemed to be on the top of a hill, somewhere to the south of town. I told my mother that i would now have a larger commute to work. I turned to the east, seeing a large snow-covered lawn. The road at he front of the house ran north to south on the eastern side of the lawn. To the east of the road, pine trees filled a wooded area. The house was at the top of a hill, and i knew that the hill sloped down to the east. The center of town seemed to be a way to the east. I would have to take the main road to town. It seemed to be to the south of where i was by a couple of hundred meters. It seemed like a much longer commute. I remembered how easy it was to bike to work from my old house.

I turned to the east and started down the hall, but i stopped suddenly when i realized that i had walked into the rear of a cinema. I was standing just inside an opening in the southern end of the western wall of the cinema. The walls were dark, and the screen seemed to be in the center of the eastern wall. The ceiling was not that high, and the chairs seemed to be set up on a flat floor on the eastern half of the room. People were still seating themselves in the chairs, and i realized that i had somehow come into the room without passing through the ticket line. This seemed strange. I turned back to the east, wondering how i had gotten past the ticketing people. I had come from the bathroom, which was through a doorway to the north, at the eastern end of the hall to the west of me. I stepped back into the hall and turned to the north, pushing open the bathroom door. I turned to the west inside the bathroom, wondering how i could have gotten to the bathroom without entering the building from the east. I thought that i must have changed locations by thinking about it. I decided that i could change where i was by concentrating on the location. I rested my hands on one of the sinks on the western wall of the room and squeezed my eyes shut, trying to picture focus on this location. I thought that i could transport anywhere i wanted, so i focused on moving to a different location. I stepped to the east again, into the southern end of the theater, which was on the eastern side of the building. People were still getting settled in their chairs. I had not purchased a ticket for this movie, and i wondered if i should stay for the show. I stood as others settled into their seats. I thought that, if the movie was sold out, then i might have to wander out of the theater. I was not sure what to do. I thought that i should leave, because i did not purchase a ticket for the show, but i also thought that i should stay to see it while i was here. I sat down in a chair against the western wall of the room. The seat seemed to be just to the north of the hallway opening that i had come through. I watched the others wander to their seats. The show then started. It seemed like a movie being projected on the eastern wall of the room, but it also seemed like a play. I wondered what the movie was. The person on the screen seemed to be singing, but i could not hear anything. This seemed strange. The audience sat in silence. I looked around, wondering why no one was saying anything about the lack of sound for the show. I glanced at two young men who were sitting in chairs just to the north of me. I seemed to be seeing them as if they were to the northeast of me though. The man nearest me had a puffy parka that was folded over his right leg, and he was leaning forward and to the left as if talking quietly to the man next to him. I noticed a pair of black ear plugs in his ears. I realized that everyone in the audience was wearing earphones. I thought that the earphones must have been given out at the ticketing desk to the west. I thought that the movie must be translated, and the audience would need headphones to hear it. I would not be able to watch the show. I also notice a man moving around on the northern side of the audience. He seemed to be a theater attendant, and i felt a little uncomfortable. I decided that i should leave, so i stood up and moved to the hallway to the south of me. The show being performed seemed to be Rent, and i thought that the rest of the cast was still off stage. I looked down the darkened hallway, and i could see cast members standing near the western end of the hall, silhouetted by the dim light from the entry hall on the western side of the building. They seemed to be dressed in long shirts. I headed to the north, toward the other hallway, which ran west along the northern side of the theater. I turned down that hallway, finding myself in another room. Several cast members were waiting in this room as well. One in a long off-white hospital gown walked from the south to the northeast, crossing in front of me. He did not seem to pay any attention to me. I thought that the cast members here were dressed for the hospital scene. I moved quickly across the southern side of the room and passed down a short hallway, coming out on the northern side of the lobby. The lobby was also filled with people, though many of them did not seem to be part of the play. I noticed $A548 standing with some other people to the west of me. They seemed to be waiting in a queue for something. The queue was only four or five people long. I felt rushed to leave this place, but i said hello to $A548. She smiled and said hello to me. I was not sure what else to say to her, so i started to the south to head for the door. She started telling me something, and i stopped to listen. I felt that i had to leave though, and i started to feel anxious. I started to act upset, and i realized that $A548 might notice that something was bothering. I thought that i could pretend that i was upset about something, which would give me an excuse to leave. I stood an listened for a moment, but i did not feel that i could get out of the conversation with $A548. I decided i had to leave, so i told her i had to go, and i turned to the southwest and headed for the door. She was still saying something to me, and she seemed disappointed that i was leaving. She ended in mid sentence, saying something about wanting someone to talk to. I realized that she was lonely, and i felt very bad for walking away. I felt that i had to get out of the building, though. Near the southern end of the room, i turned to the east and headed for the door. A partitioning wall was to the west of me. The southern end of the wall was about three meters from the glass door. Someone was standing to the west of the wall, facing west, toward the door. A chubby woman sat on a stool to the south of the wall and just to the south of the path that people would take into the building. She seemed to be one of the ticketing monitors. She was facing west. I started to hurry past her, but she grabbed my left arm. She would want to know why i was leaving the theater. I was still upset, and i let it show on my face. I realized that i seemed about to cry with distress. I did not say anything, but the woman looked at me and then let me go. I still felt upset, but i was relieved that the woman did not ask me any more questions. I hurried to the west, pushing open the glass doors and heading out of the building. I thought that i would turn south to head the way i had to go.

12023 April 12

I had been doing something along the road, which ran east to west in the urban area where the land was covered with new forest. I was with another person, who seemed to be $Z. We walked to the east along the northern side of the road. A gravel parking lot was to the northeast of us, and i walked into it. The lot seemed to be roughly square, and was about twenty meters across. It was about two meters above the level of the road, and a steep gravel driveway ran from the road up to the western end of the southern side of the lot. The driveway seemed less than ten meters long. $Z and i stopped in the lot to do something. We had finished what we had been doing in the road, and now we had to get things cleaned up here. $Z moved to the north of me and picked up the hose. I moved to the north, where a small house now stood on the northern side of the lot. I turned on a spigot, which had a leaver valve. The orange hose ran down the hill toward the lot. I then turned to the west to see $Z, who seemed like $F71, trying to wash something. He was now standing just to the south of a large vehicle, which seemed like a camper. He stood for a moment, aiming the hose to the west. The water was streaming out of the hose, and i realized that the valve was open too much and creating too much pressure in the hose. $F71 could not wash up. I said something about this, and i moved to turn the valve down a little. As i turned to the north, i noticed a man coming down the grassy slope from the northeast. He seemed to be coming from the house, and he seemed like $A782. He glanced back and forth between $Z and i, and he seemed concerned. I looked at $Z, who was now $F1. Dave reached us, walking awkwardly over the ground, lifting his right shoulder higher than his left as if walking on uneven rocks. He stopped just to the northeast of me, saying “I thought we weren’t going to have any more new people.” I realized that he had not seen $F1 before, and he was concerned that he should not be here. I knew that $F1 had quite a bit of experience helping us do the work here. $F1 was now sitting on the ground to the northwest of me, and i seemed to be sitting down too. $F1 greeted $A782, and said something about the work. $A782 seemed to ask a question, and $F1 responded my mentioning several technical terms related to tree work. I was amused that $F1 had known the specifics of the work that we were doing. I knew that he was experienced in the work, but i was happy that he could easily convince $A782 that he had the experience. I looked at $F1 as he sat with his right knee to the east and his right foot folded to the northwest. He seemed to be wearing a yellow and black plaid shirt.

I walked with the other person down the country road. I remembered this area. We were in a forested region, and i had traveled these roads before. The old dirt road ran roughly to the northwest. I remembered following it before. I knew that the road had run out at points in the forest, so we were not able to drive our vehicles there. I pictured the dirt road going up and down hills as i moved over the ground, heading northwest. I pictured the main roads around us. A familiar town seemed to be to the southeast of me. A road ran from it to the northwest, over the hill. We had traveled on a paved road from the town, heading west, and had come to an area that was now an intersection of the main road and a dirt road. I remembered that the narrow dirt road crossed between the road that we were on an a road than ran north and south. I had thought the dirt road not passable, but i remembered being on the road a long time ago. I said this to $Z, who was walking with me. We started to the east on the dirt road. It was a sunny day, but the sun seemed to be covered by a thin layer of clouds. I glanced ahead of us on the narrow road, noticing the boy about two hundred meters ahead of us on the southern side of the road. He was walking away from us. He wore something blue on his upper body. I told $Z that we would be able to catch up with him. I then said that the road ran across to the main road. $Z seemed to disagree. I asked him where he thought the road ran. I then looked down the road, realizing that i could no longer see the body. I asked where he had gone. In a moment, i could see him again. It seemed that the road had simply gone over a hill, and the boy had dropped below my line of sight. I said something to $Z about the boy, and i again asked about the roads. Something about this place seemed familiar and also concerning. I said something about how the roads met up, and i was walking to the east along the northern side of a road. About ten meters to the east of me, a narrow dirt road ran off to the north. I walked toward it, thinking that it was no the dirt road that crossed over to the other dirt road. I thought that $Z must have objected to the fact that i had said the dirt road ran to a main road, when i really meant that it was to a dirt road that was accessible by vehicle. As i passed the dirt road to the north of me, i noticed a second dirt road just past it. The second road also seemed to go off to the north, but the two roads seemed to diverge at a shallow angle. I thought that the road that i was looking for should be only a few meters beyond the second dirt road. I noticed a green road sign on the second dirt road. It labeled the road as Dryden Road. As i passed the second road, i looked to the north, but i saw only the short weeds at the edge of the forest. There was no other road. I turned around, realizing that the road i had been looking for was the second road. “Huh.”, i said. “The road must be Dryden Road.”

I was in the hallway on the eastern end of the building, which seemed to be a dormitory. I was heading down the hall to the north, but i stopped and stood near the southern end of the corridor. MY parents seemed to be with me, and we were talking about heading somewhere. I thought that i would have to go somewhere to the east, and i would have to head to the north and take turn west through a doorway to get to another corridor. It seemed like the long way around, and i knew that i had to hurry back to my room. I said something to my mother as i turned to the south and ran out the door. The southern end of the corridor was a glass wall, and i pushed open the western glass door to get out. I knew that it would be quicker for me to leave the building and reenter it through a doorway to the west. I imagined explaining this to the person with me as i turned to the west, saying that this was a shortcut. I building had run along the southern side of the path, and i reentered the building through the other door, which was about five meters from the glass door. I came into a wide corridor, which seemed to be part of an old building. The pale-yellow walls seemed to be made of plaster, and the trim and woodwork was darkly stained. A wooden walkway with banisters on both sides ran to the west, down the center of he hallway. I moved down it, coming to the top of a short flight of stairs. I hurried down the stairs, lifting my feet so that they did not have to land on any of the steps. I could feel my right hand sliding down the railing to the north of me as i watched the seven or eight steps glide under me. I put my feet down on the floor at the bottom of the steps, and i ran to the west again, hoping to get down the hall quickly. As i reached the end of the hall, i could see a balcony over the lower part of the hall. The balcony seemed to be at my chest level, though the lower part of the hall was not that far below me. I would need to stop quickly to make a turn to the north. I would have to run north down a narrow corridor on the firs floor. As i approached the balcony, i put both feet up, thinking about how quickly i could make the maneuver. I seemed to be moving too quickly as i approached the wood trim that ran along the floor of the balcony. I landed with both feet on the wood, thinking that i had hit it too hard. Something did not make sense. I remained standing on the wood for a moment, with my feet to the west of me. I then dropped my feet to the ground under me. Something seemed strange about the way i was moving. I headed north into the corridor and turned to the west into a room that was just inside the corridor. I came into the northern end of a small narrow rectangular room, which ran to the south. The room seemed to be a kitchen, and a refrigerator seemed to be to the south of the door on the eastern wall. A table ran against the western wall to the west and southwest of me. I moved to the table, aware of a man to the south of the table in the room. I had a container in my right hand, and i took a long drink from it. I was drinking milk. The man moved to the southern end of the table and put a carton of something on the table. I looked at the plastic bag of milk that i had been drinking from. I was trying to finish the container, and it seemed mostly full. It seemed to contain more that two liters of milk. It was made of an opaque white plastic, and it had a small rubber spout sticking out the southwestern side of the top. I had been drinking from the spout. I picked up the bag and took another long drink from it. When i put it back down, the man moved his hand to the table, knocking over a tall can of a drink that he had. My view of the can and the container he had put down were blocked by the container i had, so i had to pull mine to the north to see his. I quickly tipped his can upright, thinking that it was a can of energy drink and must have spilled. I apologized to the man for spilling his drink, and i wondered what was in his carton. I took another swig of milk from the large container, thinking that it was almost finished. As i tipped my head up to drink, i glanced to the northwest, noticing the jagged snow-covered peaks of the nearby mountains. I knew that the two peaks ran along the northern side of the valley were in. They seemed like the low hills to the north of me grandmother’s house. I headed to the west, seeming to be near my grandmother’s house. Someone mentioned the animals that had spilled on the ground. I thought it had something to do with the containers. A woman to the west of me then said “It must be hard to walk slugs.” I knew that she was making a reference to the slow-moving animals that had been on the ground to the northwest of us.

12023 April 15

I moved south through the small room, but i was stopped when the people to the north of me asked about the dogs. I turned around to see the three dogs sitting in a row to the northwest of me, on the eastern side of the room. They were lined up north to south and were facing east. The dog on the northern end of the row seemed to be a medium-sized golden retriever. The other two dogs were smaller. I pointed out that the one in the center was a Chihuahua. One of the people, who were to the northeast of me, talked about the dog species, saying that it was native to Mexico. The room that we were in seemed to be like a shop, and a counter was on the northern end of the eastern wall. I turned to the south and started across the room. Two of me men followed me. One of them was a young man who seemed to be in his mid to late teens. As i reclined on the floor in the southern part of the store, the young man hugged me. I knew that he was being affectionate and not sexual, but i felt awkward. I stayed still for a moment, but he did not let go. My feet were to the northeast of me, and i was partially rolled onto my left side. I was aware that my mother was to the west of us, and i felt uncomfortable with what she might think of the man hugging me. I rolled over to the southeast, but the boy moved with me, so i stood up, trying to get away from him. More people were in the store now. A woman sitting in a small nook in the eastern wall to the east of me looked like $A854.

12023 April 18

I was in the small area, which seemed like a room but also seemed to be outside. I was facing west, and $A615 was to the south of me. I had an acoustic guitar strapped over my shoulders and was playing a song that i remembered. I thought that it might be from a play with $A615. Several other people seemed to be in the room, mostly to the south and southeast of me. $A649 seemed to be to the southeast. I strummed something on the guitar, but i wanted to play a specific song and play it well. I felt a little nervous, thinking that i really did not know the song. I paced slowly to the west as i thought about the music. I was now in a small square in the middle of the city. The buildings around me seemed old, like a European city. The square seemed in slight disarray, as thought an event had happened here but had just ended. People were starting to leave in different directions and the square became empty. The ground seemed to be covered with cobblestone, and the buildings around the square were plaster and stone. I thought that i would have to head back to the east to get back. I turned to the east, but i could not quite remember how i had come here. I tried to remember which streets i would need to follow back, imagining a map of the city in my head. I could see the main north-to-south street running through the center of the city, and i was standing on the southwestern corner of an intersection with it. The street i had been on ran to the west, and the street to the east headed out a little to the north of where i was. I looked across the disjointed intersection, wondering if the street to the east was the correct street. I thought that it might not be the right one. I felt frustrated and a little annoyed. I tried to look for familiar buildings on the sides of the street. I then realized that it must be evening, and i wondered when the sun would set. I thought that it was already getting dark, but i could not tell. I felt more frustrated, not sure where to go.

12023 April 19

The people were gathering in the theater to the north of me. The room seemed to be wide east to west, and the people were facing north. The walls were dull black. I stood to the south of the crowd, looking around. A man was to the west of me, standing on a low platform and addressing the people to the south of him. He seemed to be outside of the theater, and he seemed to be trying to attract people to the show. He had straight shoulder-length blond hair that curled out a little at the bottom. I recognized him as one of the popular actors for the Gilbert and Sullivan shows. I looked back to the north, thinking that i really did not like plays by Gilbert and Sullivan. The theater now seemed to have a section that extended to the north on the eastern side of the room. A small stage was set into the narrow section, and the stage seemed to be white. A woman was standing on the stage now, addressing the audience. She had rounded features and wore a light-black sweatshirt. The room seemed oddly shaped for a theater, and i thought again about how i was not interested in the show.

12023 April 21

I stood on the lawn to the west of the house, talking to the other person. The person seemed like $G3. It seemed that we had been speaking for a little while. I was also aware of some other people to the north of us. I felt suspicious of them, and i thought i should be cautious. I continued talking to the person near me. A car was parked to the north of me, facing west. It was between the others and me, and i could see the others over the hood of the car, which seemed like an old American car. The sun did not seem to be up, but the area was brightly lighted. I crouched down on the southern side of the car, thinking that i could sit in the shadow of the car and be hard to see. The man with me moved to the west. He could still see me from where he was, but the others would not know that i was here. I stayed in this position for a little while, and then i stood up and locked the doors of the car. I did not want the people to the north know that i was suspicious of them. I turned to the east and walked into the house. I was aware of the others to the north of me, and i felt that i did not trust them. I thought that they might try to do something to my car or attack the house. I felt wary. I thought that i could sneak out to the small roof on the front of the house that was over the front porch. Most of the roof was in shadow, so they might not notice me sitting on the roof. I imagined that i could call out from the shadows if they tried to do something. I wondered if they would be nervous of the voice when they could not tell where it was coming from. I thought about this for a moment, but i decided that the porch roof was too exposed. They might eventually figure out where the sound was coming from and attack me. There was not enough shelter on the roof. I stood on the second floor of $P19, looking out the front window over the small roof to the porch. I was facing east. I thought that i should sneak back out of the house. I backed away from the window and headed to the north, toward the small room at the end of the hall of the second floor. I thought that i could sneak out the other window in the small room. I thought that i maybe could sit on the fire escape. I seemed to be in the window overlooking the fire escape now, and i turned to the east and headed back into the house, trying to think of how to get to the front porch of the house. I entered the large room from the eastern end, coming in through a door in the center of the eastern wall. The room seemed like a cafeteria, with several small tables around the room. The ceiling of the room was very high, and the room seemed bright and open. A woman was working near a table in the southeastern corner of the room. I headed to the southwest, where a set of stairs descended to the west along the southern wall of the room. The stairs descended into a rectangular hole in the floor. A thin metal railing surrounded the hole. I started down the steps, noticing that the floor at the bottom was not well lighted. The steps of the stairs were covered with brown carpeting. As i descended, i noticed that some small objects were on the sides of some of the steps. It looked like people had stored things on the steps, and the things seemed like pots or kitchen supplies. People in the cafeteria did not normally use this area; it was for the employees here. As i reached the bottom of the steps, i realized that i would not be able get through the house from the lower level. The stairs ended in a small square hallway with brown fake-wood paneling. A doorway was in the northern wall of the hall, but i knew that it only led into the kitchen. I had to get to the front of the house, and the kitchen did not have any way to get there. I also felt that i should not be headed into the kitchen, because it seemed to be limited to employees only. I felt a little out of place here. I felt annoyed, and i turned back to the east and started up the stairs. I would have to find another way to the front of the house. I then started to feel strange. As i reached the upper half of the stairs, i started to feel dizzy. Something seemed wrong, and it seemed very strange that i would be dizzy. I started to worry that something was wrong with me. I slowed down as i climbed the stairs, starting to wobble. I thought that i should lie down on the steps, and i considered calling out to the woman whom i had seen working in the cafeteria. She seemed to be to the east of the steps. I started to feel panicked. I had to do something.

I was sitting with some other people on the western side of the large room, which seemed to be a theater. We were in the back row of the audience, facing north. A large crowd of people filled the center of the room to the northeast of us. The black ceiling seemed about a meter over our heads, but the chairs in the room seemed to descend steeply to the north. I looked to the east, down the back row of chairs. A woman was sitting in one of the chairs of the back row, in the middle of the theater, about five meters from us. She seemed to be in costume, and it thought that she was part of the performance. She sat very stiffly as others moved around her, getting to their seats. She looked like $K19. I turned back to my friends to say something, and then i turned back to the east to look for $K19. I could not see her now, because several people were crossing my view. I then spotted her again. She was still sitting in the last row, wearing a sparkly silver dress with a wide V neckline. She smiled widely for a moment and then stood up. She seemed like a relative of mine. She moved to the east, and i thought that she was getting ready to do something for the show. I turned back to the others and talked to them about the show. As i faced west to talk to the others, i noticed some other people standing on the western end of the southern side of the theater, behind be back row. They also looked out of place, and i wondered if they were also part of the show. They stood against the dull-black western wall of the room, drinking something from bottles that seemed like liquor bottles. This amused me, and i said “Compari”. It had something to do with the show, and i thought that it was a joke in the context of the play.

I moved to the east, through the large darkened house. I seemed to be on the second floor of the house, which had a large hall in the center where the stairs ascended. $F71 was with me as i moved east into the short corridor on the southeastern side of the building. The lights were not on in the house, but i could see by the pale light that came in from the windows to the north of me. I turned to the south and entered a small room. Something caught my attention to the west of me. $F71 moved to the east of me as i moved toward the small animal that was on the top of the dresser, which was against the western end of the northern wall. I felt nervous of the animal, but i moved to it and tried to grab it with my left hand. The furry animal was about a half meter long, and it was curled up on the dresser. The animal lifted its head and tried to bit at my fingers. It was a wolf pup, and it seemed fluffy and gray. I could feel it trying to bite my fingers, but it was not biting hard. I tried to get it to stop by grabbing the top of its jaw and pinching with my right hand. It did not seem to want to let go. I was glad that it was only a pup. I then thought of the significance of having a small wolf in the house. It was a special thing. I pet the animal as i tried to get my fingers out of its mouth. I said something to $F71 about the animal as i started to the west. I was to the north of the room now and in the narrow hallway. I wondered if the wolf was part of a pair, and i thought that the other part of the pair should be on the western side of the house. I had already been on the western side of the building, and i had not seen the raven there. I passed across the hall in the center of the house. It seemed to be a tower on the northern side of the gothic building. The walls seemed pale blue in the light, and a set of stairs descended to the north along the western wall. No lights were on, but nighttime light came in from the large windows that were in the northern walls of the hall. I moved into the western side of the house and turned to the south, into a small bedroom. I had not seen the raven here before, and i wondered why it was missing. I then noticed the black bird sitting on a dresser that was against the eastern wall. The bird faced east, but was looking over its left shoulder at me. I reached out to pick it up, thinking that i had to bing it back to the wolf. As i reached for the bird, it started hopping away to the south, unsure of me. I grabbed on of its feet, hoping that i was not hurting it. I pulled it back toward me and grabbed it under its belly, petting it to calm it. I pulled it close to my chest as i pet it, and i turned to head back to the eastern side of the house.

I carried the long cylinder to the east, entering the southern end of the square. I entered the square from an alley that ran from the southern end of the western side of the square. The square was surrounded by low city buildings, and the shop i had been in seemed to be in the center of the western side of the square. I looked at the long cylinder in my right hand. The cylinder was about a meter and a half long and about a deci wide. It had slightly rounded ends, and i was holding it my a handle that was on one side of the midsection. I stopped in the square, thinking that i had to show the cylinder to the other man, who was in the shop to the southeast of me. I thought about what to do, and i described the cylinder to the man. I thought that it had been radiated, and i told the man that it was molecularized. I wondered if it was safe for me to carry it, thinking that it could be radioactive. I started to turn to the north to bring it into the shop, but i hesitated. The rod seemed special, and i had something to do with it, but i stood in the square, thinking about bringing it to the man.

I had just gone to the bathroom, and i was now thinking that i had to go again. The bathrooms had been to the northwest of me. I was with someone, and i turned to the northwest and headed for the wide opening in the northern wall. As i entered the small alcove outside the restrooms, a woman passed me, heading south. I realized that there must be two bathrooms in this area, and i wondered if i had been in the correct one before. I felt a little awkward. I looked up, noticing a pale door on the western side of the northern wall of the alcove. It said “women”. I then looked to the eastern side, seeing a door that was for the men’s room. I did not remember coming through these doors before, and i wondered if i had been in the correct rest room. I assured myself that i must have used the correct one previously. I pushed open the door, wondering if this was the place that did not have the proper facilities for toilet and urinal. I remembered a rest room from before where i had trouble finding a working toilet. I hoped that this was not the place. I pushed open the door and came into a small bathroom. Two stalls were no the western wall. I opened the door to the southernmost stall and walked in. the stall had a narrow protrusion from the northern wall. It was about a deci and a half wide and about a half meter long. It had a white plastic edge that rose about a deci on the eastern and southern sides. The side on the east was trapezoidal, with the northern end being almost a deci and a half tall and the southern end being less than a deci. I noticed a matching white plastic piece on the floor that was the same shape. I thought that the piece on the floor must have been from the western side of the trough. This trough was the urinal, and it was broken. I had to defecate, so i knew that this was not the stall that i should be using. I was a little annoyed that the trough was broken. I moved to the north and entered the next stall. It was the toilet stall, but there was no toilet. Instead, a hole was in the center of the white floor. I realized that i would have to stand against the northern wall of the stall and squat over the hole. I moved into the stall, pulling the door shut behind me. I thought that it was probably more natural to squat when defecating that to sit. I no longer had my pants on, and i squatted over the hole. I started urinating, and i looked down to make sure that i was urinating into the hole. The hole seemed much smaller now, and i wondered how i would defecate into it. I then noticed that the floor had a brown stain to the north of the hole, and i thought that previous people might have missed the hole and defecated on the cement. As i urinated, i relaxed, and the urine started to come out with more force. It then started spraying as though a lot of pressure was forcing it through a small opening. I stopped urinating, annoyed that i had sprayed my legs and gotten urine on the front tails of my button-up shirt. I pulled up the shirt, noticing yellow stains. I wondered how i would clean them. I was then aware of a man with a young girl in the room to the southeast of me. I tried to move so that they could not see what i had done. The man was ushering the girl into the stall to the south of me. I felt a little embarrassed, and i wondered how i would clean myself up. I had to get the urine off of my legs and shirt before i could go back out. I thought that i would have to wash it out in the sink, which seemed to be in the eastern wall of the lavatory. It would make my shirt wet, and i knew that people who saw the wet shirt and pants would realize that i had urinated on myself. I felt annoyed, but i concentrated on urinating in the small hole under me again.

I was with $F4 in the busy area, which seemed like a station or airport. We were supposed to get on to the airplane, which was to the northwest of us somewhere. I talked to $F4 as we moved to the north, and i thought about getting onto the airplane. We seemed to be in a corridor, though the area around us seemed to be open. We were actually walking along the western side of a wall, but it was more like an invisible barrier. I was aware of the wall, but i could not see anything. I was then to the south of myself, watching myself move to the north along the western side of the wall. In the distance ahead of me, i could see a faint greenish hue in the air, forming a vertical line. I thought that it was the edge of the wall, which could only be seen because of the sharp refraction on the invisible surface at the distance.

I stood in the room, which seemed like a kitchen. I was to the north of a rectangular island counter, which had an off-white surface. Men were working on the counters to the north of me in the room. Someone in the rom described putting in the counter, saying that i should be doing it. I looked at the pieces of white tile that were on the island counter to the southwest of me. They had sharp angles to them, and i moved them around, trying to figure out how they fit together. I then wondered why i would be trying to put the tiles on the counter when the construction workers were here. I thought that they should be doing the work rather than me. I moved to the west, rounding the western end of the counter as i headed south. The man to the north of me said that i should do the counter to the south. I looked at the counter that ran along the southern wall of the room. The walls of the room seemed dull white, and the counter on the southern wall seemed to be surfaced with plywood. Pieces of tile were on the counter, ready to be laid in place. I felt annoyed, thinking that i should not be working on the tiles. I looked at the small section of counter to the southwest of me that was not finished. I wondered how the tiles would be secured to the counter. I wondered if i would have to nail them to the counter below. I felt a little frustrated that i was being asked to do the work. I then said aloud that i should glue it. I turned to the north, noticing blocks of cheese on the counter along the western wall. I thought that these blocks were actually the tiles for the counter. I looked at the yellow blocks of cheese. They looked like sharp cheese, but i was not sure. I thought that they would have to be sliced and then trimmed down to fit into the open spaces on the counter. I then wondered how i would trim the cheese. I thought that the chunks of cheese might break too easily to be sliced. I then started to wonder why i would surface the counter with cheese. This did not seem to make sense. I thought that the cheese would rot or erode too easily. I tried to think about how this worked, but something about the idea seemed wrong. The scene suddenly shifted, and i was looking into a glass refrigerator on the northern wall of the room. The refrigerator was set into some cabinets in the northern wall, and it looked like one of the cabinets. I looked through the glass door of the refrigerator, wondering where cream cheese was. I thought that i would need it for something. I was aware of one of the construction workers to the northeast of me as i looked at the things on the glass shelfs in front of me. Several large blocks of cheese were on a low counter in the cabinet, and some of them seemed to be too large for what i was looking for. I then noticed the round disks of cream cheese on the next shelf up, on the western side of the shelf. It was in a plastic zip bag with several sticks of butter and some small clumps of butter. I felt discouraged, thinking that it was not exactly what i was looking for. I was trying to find the cream cheese for $F71, and i thought that he really needed the small packages of cream cheese. I reached into the cabinet with my left hand, sorting through the different packages. It seemed that i had to look through quite a few different types of packages.

I was running with $G4, and we headed to the east, down a set of stairs in a cement building. The building seemed old but well maintained, and we seemed to be entering a basement or maintenance area. The stairs ended in a small stairwell with an opening to the south. I passed through the opening and found myself on the eastern end of a short hallway. A door was to the south of me and a doorway was to the east. I thought that we had been heading to the southeast in general, so i wanted to head in that direction. I headed through the doorway, coming into the western end of another cement room. The only other doorway in the room was to the northeast of me, in the eastern half of the northern wall. The room was empty, and the plain cement walls and floor were dark gray. I jogged to the doorway to the northeast, looking for signs of trail. The room to the north was small and darkly lighted. It was about three meters to the north and ran about ten meters east to west. It was about the same size as the room to the south. The center of the room was recessed and filled with dirty water. I thought that this was a sewage pool. Outside light came into the room from a small opening in the western part of the northern wall. I felt wary of crossing the room, but i headed to the north along the narrow ledge on the eastern wall, thinking of how i could cross around the pool. The landing was about a meter and a half wide and seemed to be the only area around the pool that could be walked on. Thick white pipes ran along the lower part of the northern wall. I thought that we would probably have to climb along the pipes to get to the western part of the room. I was not sure that this was the correct way to go. I felt that we would have to keep out of the sewage in the pool, but the pipes would not be safe to climb on. This did not seem like the correct way to go. Halfway along the eastern wall, i looked out through the opening in the northern wall, trying to figure out where we would go once through the opening. Through the opening, i could see a tall chain-link fence and some grassy lawn. I realized that the lawn outside was fenced in, so even if we could get out of the building through the opening, there was no where to go outside. We would be trapped within the fence. I felt a little frustrated. I was not sure where to go. I thought that we would also have to be cautious here, because i thought that we were really not supposed to be in this building. I started to the west, stepping carefully on the small cement ledge under the white pipes. I would not be able to walk on the ledge all the way to the opening, and i felt hesitant. I stopped and looked around, frustrated that i could see no marks that told me where to go. The person setting the trail seemed to be to the southeast of us, so i thought that we would have to head in that direction, but i did not see any other way to head in that direction from the room to the south. Unsure, i turned back to the south and noticed a mark on the floor near the door that i had entered through. I quickly called out to the others, letting them know that i had seen a mark in the doorway. As i turned south to the doorway, however, i realized that the mark was confusing. It seemed to be two arrows pointing in opposite directions. One arrow pointed to the southeast, back into the room to the south, and the other pointed over the pool and to the opening to the northwest. I was annoyed that the way was not clear. I walked back into the room to the south. A man opened a door to the west of me. I glanced down the short hall to the west of the room to see the man opening the door. He seemed to be one of the officials of this place. He wore denim pants, a T-shirt, and a hard hat. He seemed annoyed that we were in the room. He stood in the doorway, holding the doorknob with his left hand as he glared at us. He asked if we were certified. I did not want to talk to him, so i pretended that i did not really notice him. I headed back to the stairs to the northwest of me. As i came through the doorway into the hall, i glanced to the south, noticing that the door to the south said “authorized” on it. I wondered where i should go. I seemed to be stuck in the building with no way out. I could not go to the northwest, because i thought that i would get stuck in the fenced in area. I felt annoyed, thinking that the man would catch us and hold us here.

I moved to the north with the other person, heading into the large building, which seemed to be an old warehouse. The outside walls of the building seemed to be white, and the entrance on the southern side of the building was large square opening that was about three meters tall. We walked into the building, but i thought that we should not be in the warehouse. I knew that we had to get to the northern side of the building, though, and i thought that we could sneak through the building to get to the other side. A door was in the wall to the north of us, though the wall only seemed to be halfway through the building. $Z walked along the western side of me, and he reached the door before i did. He tried to open the door, but the door was locked. I was aware that someone might catch us in the building, and i thought that we would have to get through quickly to the other side. I said something about the door to $Z, and then i turned to the east and looked down an aisle between the stacks of things in the room. Another heavy door was in the center of the eastern wall. I headed for it, wondering if we could get to the northern side of the building from it. As i approached the door, i noticed that it had a thick leaver running to the north from the southern side. The leaver ran over a brass-colored metal box, which was an alarm. It was a standard alarm for an emergency door. I knew that we could probably get out of the building, but it would trigger the alarm, which would alert people that we were here. The door seemed old in style, with sheet metal tacked to the surface of the door and heavy metal trimming around the edges. I then noticed a name on a rectangular metal plaque above the left side of the door. The plaque had rounded corners, and the word in the center was my nickname. I knew that it was the brand name of the door, but the fact that it was my nickname amused me. I pointed out the name to $Z, who was now to the northwest of me. I started to worry about others in the area, thinking that someone who worked here might spot us and report us. I wondered if we would be able to climb out a window on the northern side of the building somewhere. It did not seem likely that we would be able to find a door that leaded out. I motioned to the north as i mentioned climbing out a window to $Z. The northeastern corner of the room seemed worn and abandoned, with white paint chipping from the dingy walls. We could see a room to the north of us through a narrow doorway. Dingy windows seemed to be in the eastern and northern walls, so we headed into the room. This area of the building seemed to be abandoned, and several old offices seemed to run along the northern side of the building. I was aware of people to the south of us, so i hurried into the room to try to get out of sight of them. We moved across a darkened room. I thought that that people were coming from the south, so we moved into a small room to the north of the room that we were in. The small room was only three or four meters square, and the ceiling seemed to be just a little over two meters high. No windows were in the room, so the only light came from the room that we had been in, to the south of us. This room seemed to have been abandoned a long time ago. Debris was on the floor, and the walls seemed dirty. $Z stood to the north of me, against the eastern wall of the room. We were still looking for something when we heard the footsteps of someone moving into the room to the south of us from the east. I backed against the eastern wall, near the southeastern corner of the room. The person to the south moved slowly into the center of the other room. I hoped that he did not look too carefully around the room that we were in. It was dark, but i knew that the man would see us once he came into the room. After a moment, the footsteps moved back to the east. I Turned to look at $Z. He had moved against the wall to the north of me, out of view of the man to the south. I was also against the eastern wall, and a short wall, about three-quarters wide, was to the south of me, keeping me out of sight. I was surprised that the guard did not come into the room, but i was glad that he did not. I stayed where i was for a moment, trying to say out of sight of anyone who might come into the southern room. Someone was then moving in the room to the west of us. I could see shadows moving on the western wall of the room where we were. A dingy glass pane seemed to be in the northern end of the western wall of the room. I could not see through it, but i saw a shadow from the room next door. I then heard someone else come into the room to the south of me. I pressed myself against the wall to the south of me to stay out of their view. I could hear the two guards talking just to the south of me, but they suddenly stopped. I realized that i had reached through the door to grab the upper side of the doorway so that i could pull myself closer. I realized that the two guards must have seen my hand. I left my hand there for a moment, wondering what i should do. The two men were very still. I felt nervous and upset, and i was not sure what i should do. The scene seemed to change, and i walked to the south, into the larger room. The guard was still standing on the eastern side of the doorway, but i had to convince them that i belonged here. I acted casually as i walked toward the large conference table that was to the southwest. Others were already starting to gather around the conference table. I carried my backpack in front of me, in my left arm. I had opened the top and was digging through the stuffed bag to find something. The bag was faded red or orangish red. I tried not to look at the guards, pretending that i did not know that i did not belong here. My bag had something things that we had found in the abandoned parts of the building, so i hoped that the guards did not try to search us. Others were already sitting around the conference table, and i moved behind a chair that was on the eastern end of the southern side of the table. The people around the table seemed to be dressed in business suits. I was still wearing plain clothes. I focused on the bag in front of me, hoping that no one noticed that i was not part of this company. I moved around a little. The table was in a small room that was off the western side of the main room. I turned to the east to see many other people gathered in the room. They seemed to be at a party. I moved to the east, still sorting through my bag. I was aware that $Z was still to the north of me. He was moving through the crowd as well, trying to fit in. Some of the guards were standing in the area, watching the people there. I glanced to the southeast, noticing a group of people talking. The southeastern corner of the room seemed to extend more to the south than the rest of the room, and it seemed to be a step or two higher than the rest of the room. A woman standing on the southern side of the group looked familiar, and i thought that she was famous. I hoped that we fit it here. It now seemed late, and people were starting to leave the party. I headed to the north, still looking through my bag, which i was holding in front of me. The exit door seemed to be set into the eastern end of the northern wall, and i walked slowly toward it, still trying to act as though i was not nervous here. I was then to the north of the area, and i was with $Z. I reached into my left back pocket and pulled out a small amount of folded money. I was glad that the guards had not searched me, or they might have stolen my money. $Z said something to me, and i started talking to him about the party. I told the other person that we had talked to and met a few famous people. I said that Annie Lennox was in the room, and i pictured her as the tall woman who had been standing on the southern side of a small group on the southeastern side of the room.

We had been traveling to the east across the large city. I remembered this place from before. It seemed like a special place, and i had not been here in a long time. I entered the southern side of an open space, which seemed like a small square plaza. A large stone building ran along the southern side of the plaza. It seemed to have tall columns along the front side. A flat veranda ran under the columns, and three or four stone steps ran down from the veranda to the courtyard. I walked up the steps and headed east along the veranda. It felt very good to be here, but i felt anxious, because it had been such a long time since i had been here. This place felt like the city, but i knew that it was a place where i had lived for a long time. This place was on a low hill that rose to the east, on the outside of the large city. This area seemed to have large old houses and building. I pictured large mansions with wide grassy lawns. This place was Albany, and it felt special. I missed being in this area. The other person was to the west of me on the stone platform of the building as i turned back to the west. I said something to the person as i looked off to the west, which was now the south. I was looking down a valley to the west of me, but it ran to the south. A river ran down the center of the eastern side of the valley, and the center of the city was to the west of the river, to the south of me. I wanted to return to this area, and i thought that i should move back here. I longed to be here again, and i thought that i should move back here to live.
