I was lying on the low surface with my head to the west when the other person came form the northwest. He stopped near me, holding a stapled set of papers in his right hand as he looked down at me and asked me a question. I knew that the papers were part of a play and that the man was or woman was trying to run lines with me. I felt unsure, realizing that i did not know the lines that i would need to respond. I sat up, trying to think of the lines, but i knew that i had not been studying that part of the script, so i had no idea what to say. I told the person that i would need my script, and i felt bad for not having read the line. I felt that i should have been studying the script more closely so that i would be familiar with it. It seemed that i had not yet read it at all. I felt bad as i stood up. I decided that i would have to find my script. I was not sure where it was. I headed to the northwest and started moving around the room. I could not find it, and i was not sure where it would be. I felt disappointed and upset.

I was talking to the woman in the room on the western side of the building. We had been talking about something for a little while, and i was petting one of her dogs as we talked. I started to the north as the conversation slowed. I said something to the dog, and it wagged its tail happily. The dog seemed like a large retriever or great Dane. It moved to the west of me as i started walking to the northern end of the room. The eastern side of the northern end of the room was open to the next room to the east. As i started to turn to the northeast, i chatted with the dog casually, jokingly asking it if it wanted to go. The dog seemed suddenly excited, and i realized that what i had said sounded like asking the dog if it wanted to go outside. I apologized to the woman, who was now to the south of me, and i told her that i would take the dog out. I moved to the east, asking the woman about the dog. I would have to put the dog on a leash to take it outside. I moved into the next room, which seemed to be an entryway. The leashes were hanging on the western wall of the room, and i grabbed one. The dog was excited, and i moved to the exit door, which was in the center of the northern wall of the room. The woman called to the dog, telling it not to go out. I looked at the door, realizing that it was ajar. I called to the dog to get its attention as well. I knew that the wooden door was closed enough that the dog would have a hard time pulling it open, and i would be there before the dog could get out. When i looked again, however, the dog had opened the wooden door and was looking through the screen door. I felt nervous, and i started toward the door. The dog pushed open the screen door and sprinted to the north, across the lawn. I called for the dog as i ran to the door. It was dark outside, but the sun was starting to illuminate the northwestern sky. I could see the lighter outline of the square apartment building that was across the grassy lawn to the northeast. The western end of the building seemed to be just to the north of where i was, and the lawn sloped slightly upward to the north. I called for the dog, but i could not see it. I felt worried. A short cement stoop ran down from the door of the apartment, and i was standing at the bottom of it, on dry packed ground, where the grass had been worn away. I felt worried about the and i called its name. The dog then came running back from the northeast. As it reached me, i thought that i could put it on the leash that i had in my hand. I reached down to grab the dog’s collar, but i noticed that a metal leash was already attached to the collar. I looked to the northeast, following the chord. I realized that it was part of a dog run. The dog had been attached to the cable, which was attached to the apartment, just to the east of the door. A springy brown section that was about two meters long was around the cable where it attached to the building. The dog had been on a leash all the time. I was then aware of three or four people who had come out of the apartment building to the northeast. The sky was brighter now, and people seemed to be coming out of other buildings as well. I thought that i should keep the dog near me, but the dog ran off to the west. I turned to the southwest to look after it. Many people were now starting to come out into the lawn areas of the apartment complex, and there seemed to be many buildings around us. I was now standing just to the south of a building, in front of an entry door. The dog was to the west, between two other red brick buildings that ran east to west, one to the north of the other. I called the dog, and it made a few bounds toward me and stopped. I said something specific to it, looking at the brown shaggy dog. It seemed very happy. The area around us now had many people in it, and the sky seemed fully brightened, though the sun did not seem to be directly on us.

I headed to the east along the southern side of the corridor and turned to the south, into the room. I was talking with the other people about this college. I felt uncomfortable, thinking that i did not really want to be in this college anymore. The other people were talking about the beginning of the school year, but i felt that i did not quite belong here. I thought that i should not really be in this college. I sat down on the southern side of the rectangular table, and the man and woman sat to the north of me. The man sat to the east of the woman, and he had a pale round face with thin white hair combed over the top of his scalp. They seemed like officials from the college, and they were here to talk to me about the college year. It seemed like i was in my last year of the college, but i did not really want to be here. Something seemed out of place in the conversation. I did not think that i was really in college anymore. The man and woman talked about the college year, and i felt that they were talking to students to convince them of something. I felt that they were trying to tell me how i should act, but i did not think that their words would have any effect. I felt annoyed that they were trying to influence me. I was aware that my father was sitting on the eastern end of the table. The man nodded his head as he commented on the beginning of the school year. He looked at me and added that there would be no more unhappy feelings. I realized that he was telling me that i could not be unhappy here. I knew that i was always depressed during the school year, though, and i thought that the man had no way of keeping me happy. I felt annoyed with the man and woman. The man then said something about a large alcohol event, implying that i would be drinking heavily at it. I felt annoyed, thinking that the man was inferring too much into who i was. My father then acknowledged the alcohol, as though he had been to some of those event. I had not been drinking heavily at any event, and i was annoyed that the man had implied that i would be. I was also concerned that my father had thought that i would be at those kinds of events, and i rolled my eyes as the older man said something, acknowledging my father. I felt defensive, thinking that i was over twenty-one, so i would not have to feel bad about drinking in college. I stood up and turned to the west. Something seemed strange about the situation. I knew that i always did poorly in college, because i was always feeling depressed, but something seemed strange about this situation. I remembered that i had left college and remembered that i would not be back. I should not have been here. I then thought that i was much older that twenty-one. This situation did not seem right. I stopped near the western wall of the room. Others were talking around me, and they were getting ready for an event to the north. The event started off the college year, and it seemed to be a party. The people seemed to be from $G3. I said something to some of them as they got ready to leave to the north. $A36 was with them, and i talked to him as he moved to the north. I said something about the house as i moved closer to the northern wall. $A36 then said that he would officially open the house, and he asked us to look at him. I turned to the north. We seemed to be in a kitchen, with a large industrial stove against the western wall, just to the north of me. $A36 was standing in front of the stove, with his right arm up in the air. He was going to christen the house ceremoniously, as he seemed to have done previously. Some others were standing in the room near us, and they watched him. He knocked on the western wall of the room. It was an official gesture to start the school year. I move a little closer to him, focusing on him. He seemed to be wearing a mustard-yellow long-sleeve shirt. I tried to focus on him, but i realized that something was covering my left eye, and the view of him seemed odd. He made a comment about others witnessing his gesture, and i said that i could only half see it, adding that i could only see through one eye. He seemed annoyed with the comment, and i felt a little awkward. He turned and continued to the north with the others. I moved around in the room of the old building. The building seemed simply built, with wooden walls and floor. It seemed to be part of an old cabin. I thought that it had a deck along the northern side that looked out over the event area. I headed to the north, thinking that people would be gathered in the yard outside. I stopped on the deck. The people were in a cluster to the north. I felt uncomfortable here, though. I felt as though i did not belong here.

I was with a few other people on eastern end of the southern side of an area. We had been doing something with some other people, but the event seemed to have ended, and we were talking about what we should do next. Two men seemed to be with me. One was a little shorter than i and seemed to have an average build. The other was about my height and thin. They stood to the west of me as we talked about leaving the area. A short structure was to the northeast of me, and it seemed to be part of a water park. The structure seemed to be fashioned to look like rock, and it was partly under water. It seemed that we had been having fun doing something in and around the structure. I thought that a swimming area was to the north of the structure and partly surrounded by the structure. I started moving to the north, along the western side of the structure. I mentioned doing something. The thin man was standing to the west of me in a faded blue T-shirt. He faced northeast. He had a large nose and narrow face, with dark hair around the top of his head. He made several jerking motions with his arms and upper body in response to something i had said. I thought that it was funny, but i thought that others would think of him as rather nerdy and awkward. I liked him, though. I continued to the north, and the shorter man was moving to the north of me. He walked in the shallow water just to the west of me. the water was about a meter from where i climbed over the rocks. I seemed to be climbing down the slope to the north, but the water remained at the same level to the west of me as i descended. I felt interested in the second man. He carried a small blue surfboard, which might have been a wake board, under his left arm. I thought that he would have to return it to the place to the east of us. I thought about entering the building on the southern side and descending the stairs under water to the north. I watched the man, though, as we moved north. I asked him about the board, wondering if he had rented it or if he had just picked it up on one of the beaches. I thought that he should not have just picked it up. The board might have belonged to someone, and he should not have just taken it. I hoped that the man had rented it. I stopped at the bottom of the slope, where the rocky shoreline curved to the northwest. I was aware of people swimming to the northwest of me, over a short mound of rocks. I pictured the area as a crescent-shaped beach inside the building. I then thought that one of the rocks under the water just to the north of me hid a tunnel that led into the swimming area. I wondered if the man would take that tunnel. I watched him as he stood in the water to the west of me. The water was up to the lower part of his shins. I then looked back at the tunnel, seeing pale curved rocky edge over the to tube. I imagined the man jumping into it and swimming through to the swimming area.

I walked through the large department store, looking for a specific section of the store, but parts of the store seemed to be roped off because of construction. I stood to the west of the store at the moment, looking southeast. I could see a section that seemed to be part of the toy section, but it was mostly empty. I moved to the northeast, around the outside of the store. The store seemed to be in a large building, and it seemed to take up multiple floors of the building. On the northern side of the store, i again looked in through a wide opening to the store. I could not seem to find the place in the store that i was looking for. I kept thinking that the center section of the store had been closed. I thought that the toy section might have been blocked off because it was so close to Christmas time, but i thought that it should be somewhere in the store. I moved to the east. I started up a set of stairs, which seemed fairly clean and modern. As i reached the top step, though, i noticed that the stairs stopped at a wall. The wall was about a meter and a quarter tall and about a meter thick. It had a slight lip at the top where it was capped. I stood at the top of the stairs, wondering if i should climb over the wall to get to this floor of the store. Two women in long coats came from the east, and they paused to the northeast of me, looking at me. I commented on the wall. I looked down at the stairs again. They now seemed to be made of a brassy metal. The sharp corner of the northern end of the stair ended at the eastern wall. Someone was then to the west of me. He seemed to be behind a counter, and he asked me what i was looking for. I asked him where the center section of the store was, saying that it had been closed. He seemed stern, and he asked me what i was looking for. I had been looking for the toy section, but i felt hesitant to say that, so i said “Music, albums, instruments, toys.” The man told me that they would be on the fourth floor. I acknowledged the man and turned to the north. I was standing at the top of a set of wooden stairs, and a small wooden barrier was to the north of me. The barrier was a dark wood pole that was held in place by a Y-shaped set of legs on the end. The legs were curved and looked like an old piece of furniture. I thanked the man as i tried to step over the pole. When i could not do so, i moved the eastern end of the barrier a little so that i could more easily step over it. A dresser now seemed to be to the west of the barrier. The floor to the north was wood, and it seemed to be painted white. It was old and worn. I walked to the west, looking for the fourth floor. I came to another opening in the wall to the south of me. I thought that i was now near the fourth floor of the store, so i entered the store. I immediately noticed that the area on the eastern side of the wide aisle, which ran south-southeast, had large sheets of fabric. It seemed like a fabric store, but the sheets were displayed in squares. Something about this section of the store did not seem correct. Price tags were on items, but the items seemed unfinished. I started to think that this section of the store was closed off. Two construction workers had been approaching me from the southwest, but they stopped when they saw me and stared. Others seemed to be watching me from the east. I thought that this section of the store might be closed and under construction. I was not sure where to go. I then thought that the things in this section of the store were all things that items for sale could be made from; the cloth could be used to make clothing. I looked around at the square white labels on things, thinking that they might be construction labels. A woman moved to the southeast of me and she asked me what i was looking for. I asked her if this was the fourth floor. She turned to the northeast and consulted another person. I felt nervous, and i looked around. I realized that the tags around here all had numbers on them, and i tried to read the numbers, thinking that they would tell me how to get to the fourth floor. I moved a little to the south to look at some of the small white squares as the woman talked to the person near her. I noticed that some of the tags seemed to have the number “04” printed at the top of them. Most of the tags had four numbers on them, two on the top row and two below. The woman approached me from the east, and i pointed out that the signs did have the number four on them, but i still felt unsure if this was the correct floor. The woman seemed to dissuade me from reading the signs and led me to the west. She seemed to be taking me to the fourth floor. We reached the western wall of the room, and she showed me to a narrow doorway. The door led into an elevator. The woman said that i could get to the fourth floor here. I stepped into the elevator, noticing that the interior was metal, but the walls were scratched and dented. This was a freight elevator, and the construction workers had used it. As i stepped inside, i looked at the small panel on the western side of the doorway. I had stepped to the south into the elevator, and the compartment of the elevator ran to the west. A vertical row of buttons was in the small panel, and i could see that they were numbered. The buttons were white, and the ends were shaped like small crystals. I noticed that the second or third button from the top was missing. I started to feel that the elevator was not safe to use, because it was too much in disrepair. I grabbed the button that seemed to be for the fourth floor between my thumb and index finger and pushed it in. The button slided into the hole and then seemed to dislodge. I could hear the button falling down the center of the wall. I felt nervous as the door to the north of me closed. The elevator started moving down. I looked to the west, into the center of the car. The floor was metal, and it had been scraped and deformed by things that had been moved over it. It bowed down slightly. The car was about two meters wide and ran about four meters to the west. I started talking to myself, asking the elevator to please work correctly and not get stuck. After a few moments, the elevator stopped, and the door opened to the east of me. I stepped out into a darkened scene. I could make out the silhouette of buildings to the east of me against a darkened sky. I realized that i was on the street of the small down. The steeples and small peaked roofs made the town look old and quaint, but all of the buildings were dark. This seemed strange. I quickly realized that the town had been abandoned. I thought that the people must have taken all of the people from the town. I felt suspicious and started to feel nervous. I thought that the people in charge had slowly moved all of the people out, because they were trying to get rid of the humans and leave only machines to do the work. They were shutting everything down to save money. I moved a little to the south on the street, thinking that i would have to hide in one of the buildings so that they did not find me. I moved to the south, now in the basement of one of the buildings. I thought about hiding here. I wondered if any of the others would be able to hide in this town as well. I thought that we would be able to stay here no matter what the machines tried to do, but then i thought that we would actually need supplies and food. The machines would only have to prevent us from getting any supplies into the town. I turned to the north, heading up a corridor that seemed to be on the northern side of the area. It was a wide cement corridor, with smooth walls, and it seemed to be a maintenance corridor in a basement area. I was trying to figure out where i should go. I turned to the north. A wide area of the wall was recessed, and doors were set into the recessed area. The doors seemed to be dull green. I turned west and pushed on a door on the short wall of the recessed area. The door was oddly shaped as it pushed open. I stepped through it, coming into what appeared to be a shed. This seemed strange. I had not expected to enter another building. The enclosed area was on the western side of a larger building, and i had entered into the northern end of it. The room was about three meters wide and ran about five meters north to south. The southern end was open to the outside. The rafters were bare wood, and the ceiling sloped down to the west. Large pieces of flat lumber were stacked against the western wall. This place seemed familiar. I thought that it was the shed of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. One of the sheets of plywood to the northwest of me was cut into the shape of a cloud and was painted bright blue with white edges and letters. I had been here before, and i felt a little confused, wondering how i had gotten here again. This place seemed to be quite a way from where i had been, and i wondered how the doorway had opened into this building. I thought that i should not have come that far, and i decided that this must be a different location. I moved to the south, carefully looking out into the lawn outside the shed. Some people were moving around to the southeast of me, so i was cautious so that they did not seem me. A young woman with long blond hair was walking to the south with a man to the east of her. Some men were to the west of a large brown building to the southeast. This did seem like the sorority that i had been thinking of. I backed to the north, heading back toward the doorway. It did not make sense that i was here. The darkened town that i had been in was quite a way away. I knew that the door must have connected me to a distant place, but that did not seem logical, even though i felt that it was right. I turned and looked at the blue sign again. The first word on the sign said “Rho”. I told myself that this could not be the sorority that i was thinking of, but i decided that Rho would have been the correct name of the chapter. It seemed unbelievable that i could have transported through the doorway. I headed back to the east, where the others were sitting on the ground. I told them that this place was the sorority near where we had lived. Two men were sitting on the ground. They had short hair and round faces. The man facing me seemed to be $A848. He acknowledged the idea that it was the sorority, and he joked about it with the others. Another man sat to the west of him, facing him, and a woman sat to the northwest of him. I suddenly wondered if the small area of the shed ran along the shower stalls that the women would use when they were showering after sports. I suddenly suspected that the fraternity men might sneak into the shed to peep at the women in the showers. I did not want to say this to the others, though. I would feel disappointed in the men if they had been using the shed to spy on the women, and i did not want the others to think that the men might do this. I then noticed that the man who was on the ground, facing me was wrestling with the man to the west of him. The other man was right in front of me, and he leaned back against my legs as he struggled to get away from the first man. The first man had his legs around the second man, trying to hold him in place. I then realized that he had something similar to a triangle lock around the second man’s head. The first man was still smiling in play as he tightened the hold for a moment. The second man struggled. The wrestling amused me, but i was not sure what to do about the second man leaning against my legs. I now seemed to be sitting on the ground, and the man had most of his torso over my legs and in my lap. I tried not to move out of the way, but i felt a little uncomfortable. The second man struggled again as the first man tightened the hold for a few seconds. The first man was trying to get the second man to struggle more to get away. They were both smiling as they played.

I was lying on the mattress, which seemed to be on the floor. We were at a camp, and $F71 and i were sleeping next to each other on the bed. We had arrived to the camp late and set up the bed. It seemed that we had been sleeping for only a short time. The bed was against the northern wall of the room, and our heads were to the west. $F71 was lying on his left side, facing north, and i was lying to the south of him. I rolled onto my back and looked up, aware of the thick sleeping bag that was pulled up to my face. I could hear noises from outside, and someone else was now moving through the cabin. I tried to go back to sleep, but i was listening to the sound outside. It sounded like someone yelling. I remembered that a woman to the south of us had been angry. I pictured her as drunk and yelling at the others at the camp. We now seemed to be sleeping against the southern end of the eastern wall of the cabin. I pictured the thin dirt road that ran through the camp as running to the east of the cabin. I pictured the woman walking from the eastern side of the road in tight denim half pants and a T-shirt. She seemed to be yelling at someone to the west of the road. I felt a little annoyed as i heard her yell again. I then realized that the sound of the yelling was repetitive and came in bursts. I thought that something might be wrong. I sat up a little to listen, and i realized that $F71 might be alarmed at the sound. I told him that it was just someone yelling, and i hoped that he did not want to go out to investigate. I was aware of a few other people in the room to the northwest of us. I stood up, realizing that the sound now did not sound human. It seemed to be an animal yelling off in the distance. I focused on the sound, trying to figure out what animal it was. $F71 was standing to the east of me now as well. I turned to the west and walked into the center of the room to listen. One of the men to the north of me identified the sound as a cat. I was not sure, but he seemed certain. He seemed to motion to the north, and he mentioned that the cat was probably on the dump, which seemed to be to the north-northwest of us. I realized that he must have been talking about a wild cat, and i pictured a bobcat. I listened, but the sound did not repeat. The man then jokingly said that this is what happens when you put the cats in Alaska. I thought that he was referring to the fact that cats had been reintroduced to this area from Alaska. They had been pushed out of this area to Alaska, so they must have forgotten how to call others in this area. I looked back to the east to see $F71 move back to the southeast, toward the bed. He pulled the bed away from the wall and started to drag it across the room. I looked at the eastern wall, noticing the screened windows that were just above the bed. I wondered if he was worried about the cat clawing us through the screens. He moved the bed to the southwestern corner of the room, where there were no windows. I moved to the bed, thinking that we could get back to sleep. The others in the room were talking about the camping area as i crouched down to get into the sleeping bag. One of the others mentioned the trail to the north, saying that they had followed the trail that the other person had set. I pictured the trail as a thin dirt path that led through the forest to the north. It ended on the southern side of a lake. The area seemed very nice. As i got into bed, $A822 was in the room near me. He leaned against me for a moment and then sat up again. He seemed surprised to see us there, and he told us that we had been in his bed. I thought that he must have been sleeping in this area of the cabin before we got here. I was standing again as $F71 moved the mattress back into the center of the room. I could see the bunk bed that was over the open area where the mattress had been originally. I could not see the two small windows at the moment, because the upper bunk blocked them, but i knew that they were still there. I crouched down and faced west to do something. $A822 crouched down just to the north of me and rested his chin on my right shoulder. He felt very warm. I said hello to him and asked how he was. He said he was good. He talked about the things he had done that day, and he mentioned that he had sold a lot of things. I thought that he might be referring to intoxicants. He referred to them as “pensives”, and he said that “You just have to make them better than the cure.” I thought about the phrase “pensives are better than the cure” for a moment. I was now crouched in the center of the room, with the southern end of a small metal-frame bed to the northwest of me. $A822 stood up as he spoke and moved to the west to head back to his bed. I went back to my bed to sleep. It felt very good to talk to $A822, and i kept thinking about the pensives.

I sat on the bed in the small cabin of the camp. $A822 sat just to the north of me, and he leaned against me. His body felt warm, and it was good talking to him. We both sat on the bed, facing west, toward the wall that the bed was pushed up against. $A822 was trying to write something on the wall, but i reached over with my right hand and showed him how to type on the wall. I had drawn letters on two sheets of paper, which were both hanging on the wall. The paper was yellow and about the quarter size of letter paper. It seemed to have thin blue lines across it, and the letters were drawn in roughly square blocks on the paper. I focused on the sheet of paper on the southern side, which had about twelve letters drawn in a rectangle that was closer to the top of the paper. I tapped several of the letters with my right index finger, saying the letters as i did so. $A822 watched me as i chose the letters. A few of the letters were on the northern sheet of paper, which seemed to be hung a little higher than the first, on the wall. I was spelling out the word “something”. As i tapped the letters, i realized that the layout of the keyboard was probably not the standard layout. The letters on the southern sheet seemed to be mostly consonants, and i thought that the O was on the northern sheet. When i finished, i said something about the papers to $A822. We chatted for a moment, and then someone else in the car said something. We had been in the back seat of the car, typing on the wall to the west of us. The car was facing west. Someone mentioned $A377. He seemed to be driving the car, and he was backing up to the east. I looked out the window to the south of me, noticing the edge of the road to the west of us. We were on a narrow suburban street that ran between some small houses. The houses were set back from the street. The truck turned to the northeast to get back onto the street. The others joked as i looked at the southern edge of the road. The grass dropped about two decis as it sloped down from the road. we seemed to have been just to the east of a culvert, where flowers had been planted. A short wooden fence seemed to run over the top of the culvert. To the east of the culvert, where we had passed over the lawn, i noticed a small piece of a wooden crosshatched trellis. It had been stuck into the ground at the edge of the road, and some plants were growing up it. We had passed over it as we stayed from the road and turned back on. The others joked about $A377’s driving as we continued to back to the east, down the street. We only went a meter or so before the black pickup truck backed to the south, turning down the shallow hill of a driveway. I stood in the area at the bottom of the driveway. I was near the southern side of the driveway, and a wall or fence was to the south of me. The others talked to the north of me. A man and woman were walking toward us from the west, and i felt a little nervous, thinking that they might have objected to $A377’s driving. The were walking a black dog, which was on a leash. As the dog approached, it seemed very happy, wagging its tail vigorously from side to side, its back end moving with the motion. The dog looked like an old black lab, with white fur around its snout. I leaned over and said hello to the dog as the man and woman approached. The others greeted the man and woman. The dog looked up at me, wagging its tail harder. I leaned over to pet it as it turned so that it was leaning against me with its left side. I scratched the back of the dog’s neck, and it seemed happy. The man and woman stood to the northwest of me, talking to the others to the north of me. I looked down at the dog, noticing the smaller dog run around the southern side of me, heading west. The smaller dog seemed to have been with us, and it was excited to see the larger dog. The lager dog now had brown wavy hair, and it stepped to the west a little. I suddenly noticed that the ground under the dog’s back end was wet. The others said that i was lucky that the dog did not spray on me. I realized that the dog had been so excited that it sprayed seamen on the ground. I backed away as the others joked about the dog being very excited. I thought that it must not be neutered yet. I looked up at the man and woman as they continued to talk to the others. I felt a little uncomfortable about the dog spraying seamen, and i did not want to be near it. When i looked back down, the smaller dog had stood up on its hind legs and was now licking the larger dog’s anus. I made a comment on it as i backed away, displeased. the smaller dog seemed like $X29. When i looked again, the small dog had its entire snout inside the other dog’s back end, and it was licking the seamen that the larger dog was excreting. I felt a little disgusted, and i moved away from the dogs, warning the others of what the small dog was doing. I thought that they would probably not want it doing this.

I was lying on my right side, with my head to the west, and $F71 was lying to the south of me. I had my left hand on his body, and i could feel his heart beat through his skin. I noticed that it felt somewhat inconsistent, and every few beats, the beating seemed very intense. I wondered if something was wrong. I focused on the feeling, noticing that the pulse under my finger tips seemed very insistent at times, and i worried that something was wrong. I shifted position, trying to figure out what was wrong. $F71 then shifted a little, and i noticed that i had my finger tips on the upper thigh of his left leg. I thought that i must be feeling the heartbeat through one of the veins in his leg. That would explain why it felt very strange. Sometimes the pulse would feel slight; other times it would push my fingers up as though the veins were expanding a few millimeters through the skin. I focused on this, trying to figure out why it seemed so strange.

I felt a little uncomfortable about going to the office, but i had to go to the office on the campus to work again. It seemed like a long time since i had worked for $A14 at the office, but i was headed there again. I drove to the south, down the road that crossed the open area. It was dark, and i felt nervous. I drove slowly, thinking that it was bad weather. I looked down at the roads in front of me. I felt nervous about bad weather, but it was not snowing, and the roads looked clear. It seemed to be autumn, and patches of dry leafs were no the ground on the sides of the road. I held the steering wheel tightly, leaning forward to see out the window. I pressed the brakes several times as i started down the shallow hill near the southern end of the road. I did not want to start moving too fast, in case the roads became slippery. The road curved a little to the south-southeast and stated sloping down a little more. A large red barn seemed to be on the western side of the house, just ahead of me. I thought about going to work, and i suddenly realized that i would need keys to get into the office building. I pictured them as two thick brass-colored keys on a small ring. I realized that i did not have them. I wondered if they were in my car, but i knew that i had left them at home. I felt annoyed, thinking that i would have to go back to get them. I tried to slow down, thinking that i should turn around, but i realized that i was already at the bottom of the steep hill. I was surprised about this, because i did not remember descending the steep hill. The road ended in an intersection, and i thought that i would simply turn around in the intersection and head back up the hill. I turned to the east, but i found myself in a small parking area of the side of the road. A man was in a maintenance truck to the east of me. He seemed to be parked on the sidewalk. The road ended in a wide parking area, and a few other cars were on the southern side of the area, so i pulled into the northernmost space. The man in the truck was directly to the east of me. He looked at me as i stopped my car. I was also aware of a woman walking to the southwest, to the southeast of me. She headed for the small gray pick-up truck that was parked just to the south of me. I paused a moment, thinking about the keys. I had wanted to turn around in the road, but i found myself in a parking space. I seemed to be near an office building. I could not easily maneuver from the space, so i would have to back up. As the man to the east of me moved a little, i started backing my car out of the space and turning it to the south. As i left the space, i realized that the woman in the light-gray truck was also backing out. I was ahead of her, though, so i continued out of the space. She stopped her car, and she looked around at me. I looked behind me to see that no other cars were in the area, and i continued to back to the south until i had enough room to turn west. As i started west, i noticed that the space on the eastern end of the street had fanned out to the north and south, making the end of the street wider that the rest of the street. I seemed to be only ten meters or so from the intersection where i had come down the steep hill. I started to the west.

I took a few steps to the west, down the hallway and then moved to the north, around a corner and into a small alcove. I was at the western end of the hallway. The building seemed like a hotel, with pale walls. I knew that this was some sort of game. I was aware of a narrow table running along the northern wall of the alcove, just to the north of me. I moved against it, trying to get out of sight of people down the hall to the east. I was supposed to hide from the others. I looked to the west, at the mirror that was on the wall of the main corridor. I could see a little way down the corridor in the mirror, so i moved more to the north to get out of view. To the south seemed to be another alcove or a wide doorway to another part of the corridor. I knew that this situation was not real, but i had to hide from the other people. I then heard someone enter the hallway to the east of me. They came out of a doorway that was on the northern side of the hall, only five or so meters away. I pressed myself against the table to the north of me to stay out of sight. In the mirror, i saw the person turn to the east and move down the corridor. The person seemed to be wearing black. I stood still and listened, but i did not hear anyone for a moment. I thought that the person must have moved away. I thought that i would have to attack them if they came this way; it was part of the game. A man then walked into view from the corridor to the east. He had seen me in the mirror. He stopped just around the corner and stared at me, his shoulders slightly raised as if expecting danger. He wore gray shorts and a gray T-shirt. He was shorter than i and seemed to have thinning blond hair and a round face. I knew that he was going to attack me, but i remained stoic, pretending that i did not care. I thought that it might make him less certain of attacking me if he thought that i was not afraid. He said something as he stood and stared at me. He had a fake knife in his right hand. The knife seemed to be made of gray plastic. I wondered how we would simulate combat in this game. I knew that he would not really stab me, but i was not sure how he could attack. I stood for a moment, staring at the man as though not intimidated. I then closed my eyes, focusing on him. I had stood up taller to try to look as though i was not intimidated. I then opened my eyes slowly. The man moved toward me, stabbing at me with the knife. I blocked the knife and turned his hand so that he blade was resting against my right wrist. I tried to turn his hand further to disarm him, but he resisted. He stood with his left leg forward, so i hit the back of his knee with my right foot, hoping to knock him down, but he had strong legs and only crouched a little. I pushed, but the man did not seem as easy to attack as i had hoped. I then twisted my arms, pushing against the blade until he dropped it. I knew that a real blade would cut the back of my wrists, so i pretended that i was getting cut and made a noise of discomfort.

I stood in the pub with some other people. A bar ran along the western wall of the dimly lighted room, just to the west of me. My parents seemed to be sitting at the bar, to the north of me, but i was talking to some other people to the east. We had to go somewhere, and i was trying to figure out where we had to be. A young man was to the east of me, and i was trying to do something with his shirt. My mother said something about where we should be, but i did not understand. I was trying to get specific directions. The man moved off to the south and then returned, trying to tell me where to go. He wore a heavy coat that seemed like a formal jacket. It was dark blue or dark gray and had white trim running up the center, where the buttons were. The white trim had horizontal lines that ran out to buttons along the front of the jacket. It reminded me of a band uniform. It seemed to have flat wide shoulders and ran down to the man’s lower hips. I had been pressing the buttons down the center of the jacket to try to get information. It seemed that i was dialing numbers on the jacket. The man seemed excited about what he had just done to the south, but he returned so that i could figure out where we were supposed to go. He stopped to the north of me, and i moved close to dial the buttons that were in a vertical row down the center of the jacket. The man now seemed like $A461. I pressed the lowest button on the jacket, which was just above the man’s groin. The man acted surprised, and i joked that he should not get too excited. The buttons seemed to be white and domed, with black borders around them. As the man backed up in mock surprise, he raised his arms, and the jacket rose a little, exposing his abdomen just below his navel, where he had thin hair growing. I noticed that the bottom of the jacket came to triangular points just to the sides of the row of buttons at the bottom. The man moved forward again, and i started dialing. I was aware of my mother to the west of me. When i finished dialing, the man opened up his jacket to let me read his chest. There seemed to be writing in horizontal rows that ran down his torso. I tried to read it, but i realized that the narrow bands were not lines of text but narrow images. I felt confused. The man asked what location was written. I told him that the images were pictures of people. The narrow strip was about four or five centimeters tall and about twenty centimeters wide. It seemed to show the image of a woman’s bust, from the upper part of her breasts to the top of her head. The woman had East Asian features, and she stared out intently from the images. I told the man that the pictures were of a woman and that no writing was on his chest. Something seemed wrong. I then noticed that the woman had small blocks of writing at the top of each of her breasts. The writing seemed to be in Japanese characters, so i could not read it. I told the man what was on his chest, and i suggested that me might have been hacked. I felt concerned. He seemed confused, and he moved to the east of me, turning south. He asked me if what i saw looked like some of the other images. I looked down his back, noticing that he was full of tattoos. He was not wearing a jacket now, and i could see many large but simple tattoos on his back. All of the tattoos seemed to be characters that were drawn in thick black outline with solid blocks of pastel-blue and pastel-red shading. They were all of the same style, but they did not match the style of the stripes on his chest. I tired to tell him this, but someone else had come from the south to look at the tattoos. The other person seemed to be $F79. She moved to the southeast of the man and put a hand on his left shoulder, turning him slightly so that i could not get a clear view of the tattoos on this back. She commented on the pictures, but i was concerned about the text that should have been on his chest. I still did not know where to go, and i thought that we would have to look it up in a different location. I started to the south, but my mother stopped me, saying that she know where to go. She said the name of a place. I turned to the southwest to see her standing near me, holding a colorful piece of paper in her right hand. It was a flyer that had been on the bar to the west of us. I took the paper and tried to read it. It had a gradient background that was green at the very top and that faded into yellow down the center. The yellow became darker near the bottom as it started to fade back into green, but it never got as dark as the green at the top. The top part of the paper was filled with curvy script type in thick white letters. Below it was an image that had the background masked out and some text. The image seemed to be on the lower right of the page. I tried to find the text about where we should go, but i could not see the name of a city or location. My mother then said that we would have to go to Moravia. I felt a little confused, not sure where we should be. I looked over the paper, but i could not see where she was talking about. I turned to the west. My father was now standing to the northwest of me, looking at me in question as i tried to find the name on the paper. I still could not see where my mother had gotten the name. I tried to figure it out as i turned back to the east. My mother then said that we would need to go to the small town, and i tried to picture the town. I could not picture the place, but i pictured a small square that i thought might be in the center of the town. The square seemed to be to the north of me, and it seemed to have an old gas station on the eastern side, with white metal poles holding up a flat cement roof over the pumps. This did not make sense. I then thought that the town was very small, so i wondered if we would meet in the small building at the center of town. I pictured a small house to the north of us, which seemed like the small town hall in South Westerlo. I remembered the wooden floor of the interior and the pale walls. As i turned to the west, though, my mother mentioned the name of a place, saying that it was probably where we would go in the town. I pictured the place to the west of me. It was a small white cement building with no features. A name was written on the upper left of the front of the building in purple script. It seemed like a small craft shop, but i knew that the town was small enough that it seemed to act as the community center. The name seemed to start with an R and seemed to be about ten characters long. I started walking to the east with my mother, thinking that we were going to drive to the small town. I tried to picture how to get there. I seemed to think that it was near the top of New York State. I thought that we were near the Canadian border where we were, and we seemed to be on the western end of the state. I wondered if we would take the highway in Canada, which seemed to run straight along the border of the state. I picture the highway as a black line on the white paper. I tried to ask my mother if that’s how we should go, but she seemed busy with something. I felt confused, not quite sure where we were or where we were going. I sat in the driver’s seat of the car, which was facing north. I turned to the east to ask my mother where we were to go, but she had opened the passenger’s door in the rear of the car and had gotten out. I asked her what she was doing, and she said that there were marks on the ground from when she had walked here before. I thought that her shoes might have made small indents in the asphalt pavement that we were stopped on. We seemed to be on the eastern side of the wide parking lot of a gas station. The pumps seemed to be to the west of us, and the exit seemed to be to the southeast of us. My mother started to the north again, throwing something to the north of her underhanded. I looked to the northeast to see a round rock, about five centimeters in diameter, roll over the asphalt. It was the rock that my mother had moved into the parking lot by accident before. The rock bounced a few times as it rolled, and then it went over the edge. The dirt land dropped off steeply on the northern side of the lot, and i could hear the rock bouncing down the dirt. The ground seemed to vibrate as the rock bounced. A large river seemed to be at the bottom of the dirt slope, and it seemed to be ten to fifteen meters below us. My mother was back in the car, and i started driving to the southeast, leaving the station’s lot. I turned to the south to get onto the main road, but i stopped at the intersection. I was not sure where we should go. I looked to the east, noticing a large sign that seemed to say I-81 in red and blue colors. It was dark out, and the road to the east had many lights running down it, with utility lines sagging between poles. The road seemed to run about a hundred meters before it met a main road at an intersection. The land seemed open, and i could see the lights on the street that ran south as well. I was not sure where to go, so i sat at the intersection where i was and asked my mother where we were supposed to go. I kept thinking that we were near the Canadian border at the western side of New York State and that we had to go to somewhere near the border on the eastern side of the state. Something about this did not make sense, though. I also thought that we needed to pass through a place near the bottom center of the state. I tried to tell my mother that we should be near the Canadian border, but that did not seem right. I wanted to mention that I-81 ran down the eastern side of the state, and i thought that it ran through Albany, so i tried to tell my mother that we needed to go to the upper eastern part of the state. I still thought that we were somewhere near Buffalo. I tried to tell her, but that did not seem right. She then showed me the digital map, which was green with labels on it. It looked like a topographic map. The map zoomed in on a small area that seemed to be in the center of New York State. I thought that it was somewhere near Ithaca. I remembered Moravia being a small town near there. Thin lines crossed through the town. I felt confused. The town did not seem to be at either location that i had been thinking of. I was not sure how we would get there, but i kept thinking that we were near the top of I-81, which seemed to be near Plattsburg. The map then panned to the right, showing the eastern part of the state. To my surprise, the eastern border showed water and a stubby rounded peninsula that sloped northeast. A label in the center of the thick bump of land said “Bangkok”. I felt confused, wondering why a section of Thailand would be on the eastern side of the map. I then noticed that other land masses around the map did not seem correct. I felt confused and not sure where to go. I started talking with the other people.

I looked at the back cover of the phonograph that was to the east of me. The cover was mostly brown, with a large picture in the center and a column of white type on the left side. I was familiar with this album. It seemed to be an album by America. I looked at the white type, realizing that more songs seemed to be listed than were actually on the album. This seemed strange. I then noticed that some of the songs seemed indented fro the rest. I realized that one of the songs had sections to it. The song seemed to be the last song on the first side. I thought that the song must only be listed under the main title on the CD that i normally listened to. I remembered that the song had a slow section that was followed by a faster section in a sudden transition. This must have been a change in one of the sections of the song.

I was in the northern end of the office, moving around near a counter, which was to the northeast of me, running parallel to the northern wall of the room. I was waiting for something, and i felt a little impatient. Two men were at the counter to the east of me. One was behind the counter, on the northern side, and the other was to the south of the counter. They both seemed to be pudgy, wearing thin pale-blue button-up short-sleeve shirts. The man to the south of the counter was holding pair of wire-rim glasses. He turned to me, showing slight aggravation. He held up the glasses, telling me that he was still on hold. He was trying to order something that we needed in the office, and i thought that i needed it quickly. I felt annoyed that we could not get it. The man extended his right arm, holding out the glasses for me. I noticed that numbers were written on the lenses of the glasses. I took the glasses as the other two men left to the northeast. I started to put the glasses on as i walked to the north, toward the doorway in the northern wall. I then felt awkward wearing the other man’s glasses. Something about them seemed greasy or unclean. I held them close to my face, listening to the sound of the hold music. I thought that i would need the numbers written on the glasses to get the order information. As i passed through the doorway, i heard someone on the glasses respond. I greeted the person, and i asked about the order. The person on the other side did not seem to understand. I said hello again, trying to see if the person was still there. The person responded, saying something about what we had ordered. I felt aggravated by the delay in the order. I wondered if i would need the two numbers written on the lenses of the glasses. I listened to what the person on the phone was saying. The person did not seem to have what we needed right away. I thought that it had something to do with rubylith, and i paced back and forth, north to south, as i listened to the others talk. I felt impatient.

I had the wooden object in my hands as i moved to the east, into the room where the others were gathered. I seemed to be on the northern side of the room, and the others in the room seemed to be part of $G3. I had taken the piece of wood from something, and i thought that i had to do something with it. I knew that the others would think that i would simply throw it out, but i thought that i had to prepare it for something. I put the wood on a chair that was to the northeast of me. The piece of wood seemed like a section of a two-by-six plank. It was about two decis tall. The wood was faded and worn from age. I started painting a clear liquid over the surface, which i thought was alcohol. I was trying to clean the wood so that i could coat the surface with something else. I would have to put designs on it. After a few moments, i picked up the plank and turned it over. The wood seemed wider now, and it was much thinner. I thought that it was the back part of a chair that had come off. It was only about a centimeter thick, and i could see the layers of wood along the edges. The wood piece was roughly oval in shape, but it also seemed like a rectangle with wide rounded corners. I pictured it as the back of a seat, which would be mounted on two vertical metal poles. I held it to the southeast of me as i flipped it over. Two people were watching me from the east and southeast. The front side was smooth and clean from where i had washed it, but the back side had small writing carved in the center of it. I felt a little disappointed, thinking that the writing would disrupt what i was trying to do with the wood. The man to the east of me, who seemed like $A498, said that he did not know that i had done crafts like this. I would have to do something with the wood. I started to move around in the room The scene seemed to have changed, and i was aware that i was in a building where others were holding us. I felt nervous here. I was in a large round chamber that had stone walls and floor. A round container stood just to the south of the center of the room, and i stood to the north of it with a few other people. I felt that the bad guys were holding us here, and i felt that we were in some kind of danger. I thought that i would have to escape here. A man was then to the east of me, and he seemed to be a hero. I thought that i would be able to escape the bad men around me, but the scene changed, and i was watching a scene from the story. The hero had jumped into the eastern side of the room, and i was not seeing a scene of him swooping low across the floor, arcing as though swinging to the west, around the thing that was in the center of the room. The scene was fixed with the man, showing him still in the center and the room moved around him. He held the rope with his right arm and he held out his left arm to attack the bad guys. He swinged just above the floor, and i thought that he did this to evade something that was higher up in the room. The man seemed to be a cartoon, drawn in simple animation. The scene then changed. The hero was now swinging to the north. He tossed a torch to the northeast, and it landed on a pile of ropes. I remembered that the man had thrown alcohol on the ropes when he had first come into the room and headed south. The ropes burst into orange flames. The hero passed out of the scene, and i stood, watching the ropes burn. I then heard the sound of alarms somewhere in the building. I thought that it would have been better if the hero had not set off the alarms. Now the bad guys would know that he was in the building. I turned to the southeast to the flames flickering up the sides of the smooth cylinder that was standing in the center of the room. A large cartoon snake stood with its head up to the northeast of the cylinder. It was one of the snakes that the bag guys had had. I remembered that the bad guys had a number of snakes, but i only saw one in the fire. I thought that we would have to eliminate the rest of the snakes, because they were part of the danger here. The snake in the fire did not seem to react to the fire. It just stood with its body in a rough W shape. Its tail was to the east, and it was lower to the ground that the large head, which faced west-northwest. The snake was green, with dull yellow bands that crossed in diagonals over its body. I turned to the south, seeing a pile of red sticks, which i realized were dynamite. The snake crawled over the eastern edge of the pile, and something exploded. I thought that it would be good for the dynamite to explode and blow up this part of the castle, but the explosion did not seem that large. It seemed that only some of the dynamite had exploded. This seemed strange. I wondered why the entire pile did not explode. I then saw some pieces of the snake fall onto the unexploded sticks that were still on the floor. The entire pile seemed to be covered with cartoon flames, and i realized that the small crudely drawn pieces of the snake were scattered over the pile. I was glad that the pieces seemed to be of many snakes. The hero had managed to destroy the snakes that the bad guys had sent to attack us. Other explosions started to occur across the pile as the fire spread. It seemed strange that the pile would explode in sections. I thought that the dynamite would all explode at once. The scene then changed suddenly, and i was watching two men to the east of me loading a cannon. The cannon looked like a small howitzer. The long gray cylinder recoiled to the north as a burst of light-gray smoke rolled out of the upper end, which was pointed around fourty-five degrees up from the ground, facing south. One of the men had covered his ears and bent over to the west of the cannon, facing north. The other was crouched down near the northern end of the cannon, facing south. Both men were wearing gray clothing. I realized that the men were shooting at the castle where the bad guys had been holding us. They did not know that the hero was in the castle and had started rescuing the people there. I thought that the men would have to realize that the castle was being attacked from the side so that they would stop their shelling. It would not be good for them to kill the hero. I could hear the sound of explosions from the south. The men stood up suddenly, listening. The man to the south seemed confused by the south, and he turned to the south. The scene then changed so that it was facing south. The two men framed the scene as the castle tower stood in the middle. The tower was then shrouded in a billow of pale-gray smoke. This was how the men would realize that the hero was already attacking the tower. The scene changed again, and i was at the top of the tower. I stood on the eastern side of the rounded area. Two men were to the east and northeast of me. They were moving toward the edge of the tower, to the east, but they stopped. I could see only their heads and shoulders in the scene, and they turned in intervals of animation. I knew that they were checking on the hero, who did not seem to be running to the wall with them. The hero seemed to rise up in the center of the scene, to the northeast of the men. He wore a gold metal helm. The helmet seemed to be divide into two sections, with a black line running down the center. The metal of the face plate rose above the top of the helmet, forming two triangular crests, one over each side of the helmet. The hero stoically stood, not saying anything. I knew that he would reenter the tower to finish taking care of the bad guys. The two men would not understand as they tried to escape the tower. The hero in the gold armor moved a little to the southwest and turned to the south. He then started to descend. A transparent cube seemed to be around him. I thought that the cube was part of the elevator. The edges of the cube glowed in blue, as though the cube was a cartoon force field. The cube rotated counterclockwise as it descended below the short walls on the sides of the castle tower. The hero was returning to the battle once he was sure that the good guys had escaped.

12023 September 10

I talked with the other students on the southern side of the classroom. We seemed to be in an acting class, and we were roughly standing in a line that ran east to west near the southern wall. The instructor seemed to be near the western end of the line. We had done something and were now preparing for something else to happen. The instructor said that the first-year students would need to let the older students do the task. He referred to me as one of the first-year students. I felt a little sad that i would not be able to do the event. A woman, who was standing just to the east of me, seemed to be one of the fourth-year students. I started to think that the statement about the first-year students did not seem correct. I knew that i was almost a senior in the college, so i wondered if the instructor was referring to freshmen versus seniors. This did not seem right, but i felt suspicious, and then i was unsure what the instructor had meant. I felt that i had been in this college a long time. I then thought that i might not even be in the college anymore. Something seemed inconsistent in what was happening. I wondered if i was still in school or if i had quite a long time ago. The woman to the east of me said something to the instructor, and someone else chimed in. I turned to the west and asked the professor for clarification, asking whether he had meant first-year students to the acting class or first-year students to the college. He said that he had referred to the acting class. I thought that this should be right, and i told the instructor that i wanted to clarify. I felt as though i had experience that the others in the class did not, but i knew that i should not be part of the event that they were doing. The instructor then said something about the train. He was taking the train as part of the event, and the train itself seemed to be part of the performance. I heard the sound of music, which seemed to be played on chimes or a glockenspiel. I could see the train car to the west of me. It looked like a party-table bike, with a flat metal canopy over the top of it and people sitting around the sides of the table. The people on the sides of the train car seemed brightly colored, and the car moved to the north. I started walking to the north, along the long road that ran across the flat landscape. I had left the town that i had been in, and i was heading to one of the smaller nearby towns. As i approached a small intersection that was surrounded by small wooden houses, i thought that i was now reaching the other town. It seemed that i had been walking for quite some time. I thought that this town was also on the train line, and i remembered the instructor referring to it as Mecklenburg, or as a town with a similar-sounding name. As i neared a building on the eastern side of the road, just to the south of the intersection, i heard the sound of music to the south of me. I remembered the sound of music from before. It was the chime-like music from the train car. I thought that i had somehow reached the train stop before the train had come from the other town. I moved to the east, walking close to the brick wall of the large building, which seemed to be a station at the intersection. The brick wall did not seem to have any windows, and it seemed to be made of modern bricks. The wall had a jog to the south that jutted out about a meter from the wall near me. As the bicycle train car passed, i could hear my professor and the other people calling out in celebration. My professor then called to me, and i waved with my right hand over my left shoulder as they drove past. I could not see the train car clearly as it passed, but i saw it turn to the west at the intersection. I was now on the southeastern corner of the intersection, looking west. The road that ran to the west was a narrow dirt path, which seemed to be nothing more than tire tracks with grass growing between them. I thought about taking the road myself, but it seemed too unused, and i did not think that my car would be able to traverse it. I then wondered how the train could follow the old road. I thought that the road must go somewhere, though. I had expected the train to continue to the north, and i was surprised that it did not. I thought that the next town that i was heading to was to the north. I knew that i would not be able to keep up with the train anymore, though. I felt a little disappointed about that. I wanted to travel to the west on the dirt road, but i felt hesitant to do so. The next towns seemed to be quite a way away, and i did not want to walk to them anymore. I thought about continuing to the north, but i no longer felt like traveling. Something felt wrong. I was not sure what i should do. I could no longer see my surroundings as i contemplated the distance to the next stations to the north and west and the distance back to Ithaca, where i had started from.

I turned to the east, looking down at the large invitation that we had worked on. I was talking to the man, who was standing to the west of me. We had to get things ready, and i felt that we were running late. The invitation was larger than a sheet of letter paper, and it seemed to be mounted on cardboard, which folded in the middle. The cardboard seemed to be coated with a smooth surface on the back of the upper part of the card. The top section had widely spaced lines of writing that filled the page, and the bottom half had smaller writing and a decoration in the center. I felt rushed, as though we were running behind schedule, but i told the man that we could get things ready. The man seemed like Michael Jackson. I held the card with my left hand, and i had a can of spray whipped cream in my left hand. I sprayed the whipped cream over the top of the card. The cream sputtered as it came out of the canister. I realized that we were running out of whipped cream. It coated thinly in narrow lines on the top part of the card. I realized that it would cover the text, and i wondered why we would put whipped cream on the card. I thought that the reader would have a thin layer of foam between the boards of the card and that they would know to scrape the cream off to read the card. It seemed strange, but i continued to spray the bottom of the card, but not enough whipped cream seemed to come out. I felt disappointed. The bottom section of the card, which now seemed to be in a thin cake box, had liquid flowing around the edges were the whipped cream was thin. I told the man that we did not have enough whipped cream to finish the card. I then noticed that the whipped cream was starting to turn red around the edges of the top of the card. I realized that the ink might be starting to run. I felt annoyed and wondered if we had ruined the card. I told the man that the cream was not working, and i suggested that we would have to make a new batch. I turned to the east to look at the rest of the people in the queue that i was now standing in. We were in the middle of a room with high ceilings. This seemed to be part of the event. I was talking to the man to the east of me in the line as i watched some of the others. They seemed to be well dressed, and i thought that some of them were wealthy. I told the man about the play that we were supposed to be doing. I felt nervous about it. My lines had mentioned something about a place, and i noticed my name on a large white sign that was on the eastern wall, which we now seemed closer to. It seemed that a room was to the east of us, and the sign mentioned the names of the people in this area. I saw my name in the middle of the sign, written in thin sans-serif letters. To the right of it was a long word that was separated by bullets into syllables. The word seemed like “Dam.an.an.pour”, but it was longer. I tried to sound out the word, but i could not quite get it. The man i had been talking to, who now seemed to be to the southwest of me, said “Damanpour”. I recognized the name of the place, and i wondered if it should have had two Ns in a row on the sign. I then noticed the word again on the right side of the sign. This time, it did not have any marks separating the syllables, and i could see that there were two Ns in a row in the center of the word. I thought that i was playing a doctor in the play, and i had a line that said something about Damanpour. I tried to remember where the country was, bun then i thought that it was really a city within a country that was in Africa. I continued to talk to the other, and i turned to the west to face him. We were standing in the queue on the southern side of the outdoor area. We seemed to be just to the east of the Commons. A small food cart was at the western end of the queue, about three or four people to the west of us. The man who was serving from the queue seemed to be to the south of the queue, and he seemed like $A615. He had shoulder length blond hair. I felt as though i knew him well, and i had to get something from him. As i talked to the man with me, i noticed $F67 sitting on a stone bench to the northwest of us. She also had bushy yellow-blond hair. Her face was turned to the west so that i could not see it. I would have to say hello to her, but i felt a little glad that she could not see me at the moment. The person to the west of me asked something, and i stressed my annoyance with the play, saying that i had first run my lines last Friday. I had already told the person that the play would be Monday, which seemed to be tomorrow. It seemed to be a Sunday. I continued talking as i turned to the east and walked down the sidewalk on the southern side of the street. The street sloped up hill, and i seemed to be walking toward Collegetown. As i passed an apartment, i could hear people talking inside. I knew that they were part of the play that i was doing, and i felt hesitant to enter. I thought that i had to get things done. I passed the building, but i hesitated and turned back to it. I was now on the eastern sidewalk of a street that ran north to south, and the apartment building was to the east of me. This seemed like the apartment that i had made the original cake in. I pictured the cake as a flat square cookie, and i remembered spraying whipped cream on it. I would have to make more whipped cream. I leaned to the east, into the doorway of the building, listening to the voices. When i had walked past the building, there seemed to have been many voices, and i thought that the cast had gathered to go over the play. That would be good, but i did not want to run over the entire play. I only had a few lines at the end, and i needed to review them. I leaned back out of the doorway, and i heard someone calling my name from the southeast. It sounded like $A615. The voice was far away, and i though that i had to pretend that i did not hear it. I stepped to the west, out of the building, and i started to turn to the north when $A615 called again. I pictured him and $A649 walking up a flight of stairs in a narrow and dimly lighted stairway just to the southeast of the doorway. The stairs ascended to the west, stopping a step below the main entrance, on a square landing that was to the south of the main entrance. As they called again, i turned to greet them. They asked me about the food, and i mentioned that i had to make more whipped cream for the cookies. I said something about going back to my apartment and making more food. $A768 came from the west, stepping across the street and onto the sidewalk to the northwest of me. He said that he had just come from my apartment and that no food was there. I clarified that i was talking about the stuff i would need to make the whipped cream. He chuckled and told me that he was joking. I knew this, and i told him that i was aware as he passed to the south of me. He was wearing a dark-blue sweatshirt, and i patted his left shoulder as he passed. We turned to the north, and i talked to the others about the food. I thought that i would need vanilla for the whipped cream. I told someone that i would put a lot of vanilla into the whipped cream. As we walked, i then thought that i could sprinkle cardamom on the top of the whipped cream to make it look powdered. It sounded good. We walked up the sidewalk, which was shaded by leafy rounded trees. I felt nervous about the play, thinking that i was not really sure of my lines. I knew the last few words that i would say, but i thought that i actually had a line previous to that, and i was unsure what the line was. I hoped that i would have time to read the script before we went on. I would have to memorize it. I then thought that it should be very simple. I t was something like “I am Damanpour.” I thought again about the whipped cream as we stopped at the corner on the northwestern end of the block. One of the men walking in front of me turned and mentioned the store that was to the northwest of us, on the opposite corner. The man seemed like $A153, and he said that he could get the stuff i needed at the store. I realized that the small bodega was actually a coop and that $A153 belonged to the coop. He would be able to buy food. I did not want to think about the food at the moment, but i felt better that someone could get what we needed.

I crossed through the center of the restaurant, heading south. The room seemed full of people. I had come here to eat, and i thought that i was meeting someone in the restaurant. The restaurant seemed to be divided into smaller dining rooms. The entrance was on the northern side of the building, in the center. the northeastern part of the building seemed to be an entryway with a bar on the southern side. The walls of the restaurant seemed to be adobe and were white. The round tables on the western side of the entryway were full of people. I walked down the center of the building. The southeastern section of the building seemed separated from the rest with a wall, but it had a large doorway in the northern end of the wall. I turned to the east and walked through the doorway, pausing just as i got inside to look for someone. I had expected to meet some people for a meal here. The restaurant seemed crowded, and the area seemed like an outdoor patio, but it had a roof over it and walls around the southern and eastern sides. The tables here seemed rectangular, and people were sitting on the northern and southern sides. I focused on a man in the center of the area who seemed familiar. He was older, with a balding head and a long nose. He was leaning forward, to the north as he spoke to someone. I watched him as he leaned back to the south, becoming more erect. He was not someone that i knew, so i looked around the room a little more. I felt disappointed that i did not know anyone here. I had hoped to sit with someone, but i thought that i would need a seat in the restaurant by myself. I turned around to the west to see the other part of the dining room. The western side of the restaurant had been full of people, but people were now starting to leave. I thought it would be easier to find a table now. I would have to wait to be seated. A bar ran along the northern side of the southwestern section of the restaurant. I wondered if i should sit at a bar. I thought that i should wait for someone to seat me so that i knew here i could eat. I backed up to the north, walking into the center of the restaurant, where the four sections of the restaurant converged. The northwestern section of the room now seemed to be enclosed in a walled area as well, but i knew that it was an interior dining place. I stood near the center of the room, glancing at the waiting staff as they moved around the room. Several of them were stopped to the west of me, at the southern end of the southwestern area. I waited for someone to direct me to a table. The area to the southeast now seemed to be mostly empty. The people had all left. I thought that it would be easier to get a table there. I then realized that the area to the southwest had also started to empty out. I thought that i had missed the lunch rush. I backed to the north more, heading toward the entryway. I stopped just to the north of the doorway that was in the western wall. I watched several of the waiters move around the room. I was suddenly aware that the restaurant was now empty. All of the people had left. I felt a little impatient, hoping that someone would wait on me soon. A female waiter stopped to the south of me before continuing on to the northeast. I felt annoyed that no one was waiting on me. A man and a young child came into the restaurant from the south. I noticed a large man, who seemed to be one of the waiters, to the southwest of me. He was tall and bulky, with a reddish-blond beard that ran down to the center of his chest. His shoulder-length hair was frizzy, matching the hair of his beard. He wore mostly black, but his shirt had a large logo on it that had red and white on it. He was one of the waiters. He came from the west and stopped just to the south of me, looking north past me at the people who had just come in. I felt annoyed that he had not recognized that i was also waiting for a table. He moved toward the people near the entrance, and i was aware that a few other waiters were watching from the west. I turned to face the man as he walked past me. I then started to follow him to the north. He greeted the others who had just come in. I said something to the man as i moved in front of him, letting him know that i was also waiting for a table. He seemed surprised to see me, and he said something to the others. The restaurant seemed very empty now. I moved to a rectangular table that was just to the south of the entrance. The entrance now seemed to be in the northern end of the central wall of the room. The people had come in from the west and stopped to the north of the table, which seemed like a white picnic table. The small family that had come in sat down on the northern end of the eastern bench of the table, facing east. They were waiting for the person to find them a table. I moved to the northern end of the bench on the western side of the table and sat down facing north. The table now seemed to be turned so that the table was in front of me. The family was walking about the young girl who was with them. The man asked about a change of address, saying that the family would have to move again and would have to hide all old addresses. I realized that they were trying to hide from something. The child, who seemed to be a girl, sat on the northern end of the bench, and the two adults now seemed to be sitting on the table with their feet on the bench. They faced east, with the man sitting to the north of the woman. The man did not seem to be part of the family, but he seemed very concerned about them. He asked the woman how she knew that their address was not accidentally revealed. He asked about the girl drawing pictures, implying that something in the picture might give away where they were. He asked how many times it would happen, and he seemed to be referring to either the move or the times the pictures might relate to an address. I felt bad for the family, but i did not say anything. I stood up and headed to the east, around the end of the table. I continued to listen as i headed into the room to the east of me. The room was now open, and a large round low platform was in the center of the southeastern section of the building. A thin salesperson, who seemed to be wearing a dark blue suit, started talking about the car, which was the platform. The family seemed to have followed me into the room, but they stopped to the northwest of me as i turned to the east. The salesman referred to the car, and i looked down at it. The car was about three meters in diameter, and it was about a third of a meter tall. As i looked at it, thought, i noticed that the southern end of the car sloped up slightly, and two seats seemed to be facing north in the center of the car. The seats were to the east and west of each other. I realized that this must be a new type of electric car. The four wheels seemed to be underneath the vehicle, and the vehicle was facing north. The salesman asked me something as he stood to the northeast of the car. I was not sure what to say. The car seemed rather strange. I realized that it did not have a roof of windshield. I wondered how it would drive around without anything to protect it. I then thought that maybe the windows extended up from the sides, forming a bubble over the car. It did not seem to be a practical design. I thought that it probably looked good, but it did not seem that it would be convenient to drive. I walked around to the western side of the vehicle. The man started talking about the features of the car, and i felt that he was trying to make them sound better than they actually were. The family with the young child was standing to the northeast of the car now. I responded to the salesman, talking about the features of the car. I was aware that i was talking in a Georgian accent. It seemed strange for me to speak with the accent, but i knew that it highlighted something about the car. The salesman kept telling me things about the car, and i realized that he was not quite understanding what i was saying. I responded to him, but he seemed to be ignoring what i was saying. As i walked southeast, around the southwestern side of the car, i change my accent to a stereotyped southern accent, which seemed more like the Hollywood “hillbilly” accent. I started talking about the car, but the salesman no longer seemed to be understanding that what i was saying was a joke about the features of the car. The salesman continued to speak about the car. He was not really listening to what i had said. I felt a little annoyed, and i continued to talk. He spoke over me, as though he was unaware of what i was saying. I walked in specific steps to the southeast of the car, motioning to it with my left arm as i said thing in distinct words. I started making fun of the salesman and the car, but he did not seem to notice. I stopped to the southeast of the car, frustrated that the salesman was not understanding what i was saying.

I moved to the north, walking along the western side of my car, which was parked on the eastern side of the street, facing north. The street sloped down slightly to the north, and it seemed to be in a suburban neighborhood with thick trees shading the street. It was night, but the streetlights made everything visible. A young man came from the northwest, and i felt a little wary of him. I thought that he might start threatening me. I pretended he did not intimidate me, and i moved to the driver’s door of my car. The man had a round face and short blond hair. He seemed very familiar. Two other men were then with him. They converged to the northwest of me and talked to each other. A few were looking at me. I tried to ignore them as i did something with my car. I then thought that they seemed very familiar. One came from the west, and he was shorter than the first. The second man seemed to be thin, and he was wearing a faded red T-shirt. His skin seemed medium, and he seemed to have central Asian features. The third came from the northeast. He was about the same height as the first man, but he seemed bulkier. He seemed to have short brown hair and a muscular but out-of-shape build. Something about the third man seemed interesting, and i thought that i had met him before as well. I started to feel interested in the three men, thinking that they were not aggressive but desperate for something. I wondered if they had a place to stay. I thought about the woman whose house i had been staying in. I thought that she had been letting the men stay there for a while as well. I thought that the men needed a place to stay, because something had happened to each of them. I moved to the east, thinking that the men could stay in the house that we had been staying at. I thought that they really need a place where they would feel safe. I was then walking across the northern end of the large living room on the northern side of the house. I was aware of the area to the north of me, outside the house. I was hoping that the men would be there. The room seemed old, with worn wooden floors and wood on the lower parts of the wall. I thought that the house could act as a coop, where others could stay when they did not have a place to stay. I looked at the card in my right hand. I remembered picking it up in the back yard of the house, to the south of the house. I had been on the eastern side of the yard, doing laundry. The car seemed like a business card. It was black, and i thought that it belonged to the third man, the one whom i felt interested in. I could give it back to him. I then wondered if it was really his or if it belonged to someone else. I held up the card in my left hand, trying to read the type. I first looked at the back of the card, which seemed blank. I then flipped the card over, noticing writing on the front. The card was printed so that it was taller than wide. Gold or white text filled the bottom of the card, and a white box was at the top. The round red logo on the left side of the box looked like $P52’s logo, and a name was printed in black in the top part of the box. The first name seemed like “Gahesh”. I pronounced it, thinking that it was the name that the third man had told me. Something about him reminded me of $A847. I felt happy that i could return his card. I was now on the upper floor of the house, heading east across the northern end of a room. A doorway was in the eastern end of the northern wall of the room. Several others were now moving through the room to the east of me. I passed through the doorway, thinking that this might be a place where the men could stay. I was surprised to see that the third man was reclined on a white bed that was against the eastern wall. I had entered the room in the western end. Several others were in the room. I moved to the third man and handed him back his card. He thanked me, but he mentioned that he really did not need it.

Others were in the room to the north of me. They seemed to be gathering for something. The room was very tall, and i seemed to be on the second floor, in a small booth overlooking the larger room or on a balcony on the southern side of the room. I had been talking to some people just before we came to this place, and $F18 seemed to be one of them. She had been to the northwest of me. As i moved into the small booth, it seemed that the booth was actually in a wooden tower that was standing against the southern wall of the room. The tower seemed to be made of tall pale logs that were standing vertically. The had no bark and seemed to be smooth on the outside, as thought they were finished. A square window was cut in the northern side of the tower, and i looked down through it at the people below. The room was wide east to west, and a small stage was set up against the eastern end of the northern wall. People were just starting to arrange chairs on the stage as though someone was going to give a speech. Looking around the small booth that i was standing in, i noticed that several beer bottles stood on the shelf that ran around all four walls. The shelf was at my waist level, but some of the bottles seemed to be higher than others. I knew that the bottles were levers, and i pulled one that was against the western wall. The tower suddenly tipped to the east. I pictured the steep peaked roof of the tower, and i knew that the tower was actually a rocket. I had started a launch sequence. This amused me, but i also realized that this was a serious problem. I did not want to be launched into space. As the rocket stopped at around a fourty-five degree angle, i felt nervous, and i pulled on some of the other beer bottles. I felt that i was in danger if the rocket decided to launch.

12023 September 14

I was in the room with other people. The room seemed to be an office area, but the people were sitting around long rectangular tables that ran north to south, making it seem like a lunch area. I walked along the southern sides of the tables, heading east. The people i worked with seemed to be at the second table. I stopped near the table as two of them were talking. They seemed cheerful as they spoke. I sat down at the southern end of the table. The others were on the eastern side of the southern end of the table, and they were talking about one of them leaving the area. $A289 stood up from the chair, smiling widely at the others as they bid him farewell. The woman sitting to the north of him seemed to be $A168. I was standing near them as $A289 walked to the east to say goodbye to someone else. A person to the north of me took this moment to mention to me that i had played in a band with $A289. He asked if we would be playing together again. I told him that we had never played together. I remembered that $A289 had been in a band though. I had known him from $G12. I mentioned this to the other as $A289 finished talking to someone at the table to the east and headed to the west to leave the room through the doorway in the southern end of the western wall. I felt suddenly sad that i did not get to say goodbye to him. I told the person to the northeast of me that i met $A289 at a festival, and i referred to the group as “the $G12 era”. I had wanted to say goodbye to him, but he had already left. Someone to the north of me then started talking about work. Something about the computer systems were changing, and they said that something would no longer be available. I listened to the person as i headed west, across the long narrow room, which now seemed to be mostly empty. At the western end i turned north. The person told me that a protocol in the database was being discontinued. He seemed to say that something in the protocol was now considered insecure, so several companies, like Microsoft, were getting rid of the protocol. I felt annoyed by this, thinking that the companies could have easily fixed or replaced the protocols rather than getting rid of the software all together. I ran through several systems in my head, thinking that there were many alternatives to the systems that were being discontinued, and i felt disappointed that the companies would not be using them instead. As i turned east, the dark corrugated rug that ran east to west on the floor of the long narrow room slipped under me, the western end shifting to the north. I caught the rug with my left foot as i stopped. I told the person continuing to the east of me that large companies were always canceling things. I thought that they were going overboard this time, thought. It seemed that they would be taking away something very basic from their systems that many people used. I felt annoyed and disappointed by this. I pulled the rug back a little to the south, and i continued down the length of the room. A counter ran along the eastern end of the northern wall, and some people were working on computers on the counter. The man ahead of me, whom i could not see, turned south near the eastern end of the room and pulled open a door in the southern wall. He mentioned the names of Apple’s systems as he stepped through the door, saying that Apple would drop them. He mentioned three or four names, ending with “Renaissance” and then adding “David” as he stepped through the doorway. I thought that “David” referred to the statue. I recognized the names as industry nicknames for Apple systems. I stopped in the next room as the person mentioned that the databases would not be used. I was on the southern side of the room, facing north, and the people were describing the systems to the north of me. This room seemed like the cafeteria that we had been in before. They were talking about database protocols, and they said that MySQL would no longer be used. I was annoyed that it would be dropped, thinking that it was so widely used that it would be difficult for people to change to a different system. I thought that this was just a way for the companies to take the easy route. As i started to describe this, i looked at the man to the north of me. He seemed rather stout, with a square face and short hair. He wore a gray long-sleeve button-up shirt as he stood, facing south. His arms were slightly bent, with his forearms extended a little forward. He held a thick white book on his right forearm. He had something to do with the system, and his expression seemed strained. He reminded me of Henry Rollins in some way. I noticed that he was wearing bright blue or green pants with red knit knee-high socks. As i backed to the south a little, i said that the systems were too important to lose. I said that we could not give up MySQL so easily. I then noticed the car to the north of the man. The car had a thick rectangular grill on the front, and the car was on its side. The grill faced roughly southeast, and the roof of the gray car faced southwest. I could only see the hood of the car, though. I said that the car was the system, and i knew that the man had to do with something important about what we were doing. He seemed important. I backed away from him, now talking to the person to the west of me and referring to the man and the crashed car. This situation now seemed very strange. I became aware that they were symbols representing something about the computer systems. This was very important, and i felt upset that things were changing in this way, but i was also aware that the man and the car were only representing ideas.

I turned the car to the north and drove into the small asphalt parking area that was to the south of the railroad tracks. $F71 was in the car with me. We had to catch a train to head west to the main part of town. I parked the car on the eastern side of the lot, which was now empty. As i came to a stop, a train came from the east. The tracks to the east curved northeast, going around an area of land to the north of the tracks that was covered with trees. The engine car of the train was rounded like an old steam engine, but it did not have taller smoke stacks. The engine car and the rest of the car were all dark bronze in color, almost black. The train was moving rather quickly and did not stop at this parking lot. I thought that the train must only stop if someone were on the platform that was between the parking lot and the tracks. The train passed by quickly and was gone. I suddenly realized that if we took the train to the center of town, which was to the west of us, that i would have to leave my car here. This did not seem like a good idea, and i mentioned this to $F71 as he got out of the car. I looked to the east, wondering if there were any signs that said that we could not leave cars here overnight. I did not see any signs around the parking lot at all. To the east of us, i could see a road fork and head off to the northeast and east. The road before the fork seemed to run to the southwest and then along the southern side of the lot that we were in. Between the fork, on the east was a large apartment building. It was about four or five stories tall, and it seemed to have a brown brick or block exterior. It was boxy in shape, but it seemed to have small balconies or planters outside of the windows, adding regular bumps along the surface. Another apartment building seemed to be to the south of the southern road. I turned to the west, again looking for the signs around the lot. I started to feel frustrated, thinking that we would not be able to leave the car here and take the train in. Another train then came from the east. As it approached, i noticed a group of people on the north side of the tracks to the northeast of us. They seemed to be on a separate platform that was on the curve in the track. I knew that they were waiting for a train that was headed to the east. A few of them waived their arms as the train went by, and i remembered that we would probably have to flag down a train in order to get on. The train started passing us. I wondered if the trains came by so regularly or if we would have to wait for another one. We would have to get to the platform if we wanted to get a train into town. The town seemed like Endicott.

12023 September 16

We got out of the car, and i hurried to the west. We were supposed to be somewhere, and i thought that we had to follow the trail that ran into the vegetation. The woman was doing something near the car to the east of me as i started following the old road across the area of tall grass, which seemed to be part of the lawn of a house. I was aware of a small building to the north of me as i headed down the trail. I thought that we had to meet up with the others for some type of learning experience for work. I focused on the trail that i was following as i passed into a wooded section of land. The trail was not as obvious here, but i could still see that the old path headed to the west of me. The woman said something as i came to an area where the trail became less obvious. I paused, looking at the tall grass around me. The area to the south of me was filled with thin trees that grew similar to sumac. Their leafs were above the trunks, forming a disperse canopy. The trees were thinner to the west of me, and i tired to make out the worn path on the ground. It seemed that a path had come from the north and crossed to the south, and the path seemed more worn than the one i had been following, so i was not sure if we were supposed to turn one way or another. It still seemed that the others would be to the west of us, and i pictured the land sloping down a steep hill somewhere just to the west. The hill seemed like an open lawn on a campus. I looked around, trying to figure out which way to go. I heard a sound from the west, so i continued to the west a little. A cement structure was in the ground to the north of me. It was overgrown on the southern side and seemed to have trees growing in it so that the tree cover seemed continuous in the area. I heard the sound again from the west. It sounded like a large animal, like a cow or other farm animal. I moved slowly through the trees, thinking that i was no longer on a trail. I then noticed water to the north of me. I was very close to the southwestern corner of the cement structure, and i could now see into it. I realized that it was part of a garden. The structure formed a room that was set about two meters into the ground. Trees and plants grew out of small potters in the area, and one of the areas was filled with water. It seemed like a small bathing area. It was against the western wall of the area. Benches seemed to be on the western wall, though i could not see them. A thin tree, which seemed like some kind of tropical tree, was in the center of the area, and a low structure ran east, to the south of it. I said that the area was “cool” to no one as i leaved oven the edge to look at it. I leaned against a thin tree as i peered through the row of small plants along the edge. The thin tree i was leaning against bent to the north, so i backed away. I did not want to break it. I looked down, noticing that its trunk also looked tropical, like the trunk of a palm tree. It was planted in a narrow channel with other evenly spaced trees. The channel ran along the top edge of the basin, ending on the north where a thick cement square pillar rose to support the ceiling of the recessed room. I focused on the base of the tree i had been leaning on, thinking that i could have cracked it had i leaned too much. The channel that the trees were planted in was about a deci thick and had dark brown dirt in it. I looked back over the edge, into the room. Other trees were growing in square cement basins inside, and the basins seemed to be filled with water. I looked at the tree i had seen in the water before, noticing that the water rose about a deci above the dirt at the tree’s roots. The area looked lovely, and i thought that $F71 would like this garden. I then thought that he would be able to name all of the plants and enjoy the space. I started to look around at the plants inside and the small pools of water in the basins when i heard the woman to the southwest of me. She said that i should be careful of the cow, adding that it was angry. I heard the cow again, and it seemed much closer to us. I felt nervous, thinking that it was coming our way. The woman seemed to move to the north, along the western edge of the structure. I heard the cow coming near, so i jumped over the edge of the room and landed on a bench, which ran along the western wall of the room. The bench seemed to be wooden, and it had a blond wooden back that seemed to bow out a little near the top. I could see vertical boards in the back of the bench as i looked back to the southwest, trying to listen for the bull. I then turned to the southeast, noticing that the cat was still curled up on a shelf on the southern side of the room. The shelf was about a meter and a half off the ground, set into the southern wall. The gray tabby cat had its head up and was looking sleepily to the west at the south of the cow. It then turned to look at me as if unsure what was going on. I heard the cow very close to us, so i jumped onto the bench to the west of me and pressed myself against the western wall. I could hear the cow moving through the trees overhead. It seemed to pause for a moment and then continue. I was not sure if it went to the north or to the east. I thought that i saw shadows moving along the eastern side of the room, but i could not tell. The cat looked around but did not seem alarmed. After a moment, i could not hear anything, so i stood back up. I walked to the north, following a corridor that led to a small kitchen area. The kitchenette was to the west of the corridor, and the woman had already entered the room. I entered through a doorway in the southern end of the eastern wall of the room. A second woman was leaning on a counter that was just to the north of the door. she seemed to be dressed in a business suit, and i knew that she was running the learning program that we were supposed to attend. The woman with me was to the west of me, and she said something about the others. It seemed that the others had left us a note about catching up with them. The woman in the suit agreed, saying that we would be able to catch up with the others if we did not do parts of the course. I felt confused, but i realized that she was saying that we had arrived late and would now have to catch up with the others, who were already following the course through the grassy areas. I felt disappointed, thinking that we would have to miss parts of the course to catch up. I looked at the black square watch on my right. It seemed to say “3:30”. I mentioned the time to the woman to the north of me, saying that we were not supposed to show up until that time. I then looked at my watch again, noticing that it was somewhere in the hour of two, so we should have been early for our session. Several other people seemed to be in the room to the northwest of us. A table was in the center of the room, and the others were around it. One person on the eastern side of the table seemed to be a man, and he wore a tan or gray suit coat as he reached for something on the table. I thought that we still had some things to do before we left, and i asked the women about the schedule. It did not seem that we would have been late. I started to feel upset that we were being rushed and were behind the others. The woman to the west of me talked about catching up with them, and i remembered that they had left instructions on how to shortcut the course. I looked at the time again, trying to figure out what was happening. The others thought that we should have been here earlier. The woman to the north of me said that we should leave our things here and get going. She asked me for something, and i pulled out a string from my right pocket that had keys on it. I told her that i could not leave my keys, thinking that i would not be able to lock my car if i left my keys in it. The black fob for my car hung at the bottom of the string with some other keys. The woman to the west of me pointed this out as well. I felt anxious. I had several other things with me, including a black bag of notebooks. I showed the thin canvas bag to the woman to the north, saying that i would have to put this stuff back in my car as well. I realized that my car was a little way back to the east, back down the trails. I would have to go back there to store my things and then return. As i turned to the east, i thought that we would be ever later to get to the course. I felt discouraged and disappointed.

I had been at some kind of event, and i was now standing on the northern side of a small room. $K1 and $K3 were sitting at a rectangular table to the south of me, and another person was with them. They wanted to do some kind of prayer for something. $K1 was sitting on the eastern end of the northern side of the table, and $K3 was sitting on the western end of the southern side of the table. The other person, who seemed like my mother or grandmother, was sitting on the western end of the northern side of the table. We talked about the prayer, and i felt a little out of place. They had wanted to do a prayer that seemed to be Pagan in nature, but they did not seem to know that what they were talking about was a Pagan ideal. It seemed strange for them to be doing something that was so closely related to Paganism. I wanted to mention to them why the Pagans believed in prayers like this and how these prayers related to the world around them, but the others were talking about something, and i did not want to interrupt. I started to feel that i should not interrupt them, and i walked up the stairs that ascended to the north on the western side of the room. The entire northern side of the room seemed to be a set of stairs or cement benches for an audience. The room seemed to be about five meters east to west and seven or eight north to south. I walked through a doorway in the western end of the northern wall, pushing the door open and then swinging it closed after me. I felt interested in the ceremony that my relatives were about to do, and i wanted to see it, but i had left the room because i felt out of place. Some people were sitting in the room that i was now in, but i did not pay attention to them. I looked back at my relatives on the table in the booth to the south. The lights in the room that they were in then turned off, leaving a red light illuminating the room. This seemed overly dramatic for the ceremony. I felt too interested in what they were doing, and i wanted to point out that this was not a Christian ceremony but a Pagan ritual. I pulled the door open, swinging it to the west, and i reentered the room. I thought that i could simply sit on the risers on the northern side of the room and watch. I entered the room and moved to the east to sit down on one of the top benches. My relatives suddenly stopped, as though they were uncomfortable with the ceremony. $K1 said that our grandmother was shocked by what we were doing, and $K3, who was standing up from her seat, agreed. My grandmother was sitting with her back to me, but i could tell that she was nervous and uncomfortable about the ritual. The others in the room had become uncomfortable and were starting to leave. I stood up again, noticing small items that were in the room. I focused on a snake sculpture that was to the northeast of me as i ascended the stairs again. The snake had its mouth open, showing a forked appendage that had two white fangs sticking up from it. The snake’s skin seemed to be red, and the statue was made of clay or ceramic. I focused on the white teeth, thinking that the snake did not really represent evil, as it would in Christianity. It was more a symbol of something else in nature for the Pagans. II wanted to explain this to the others, saying that it was really a metaphor and not a snake, but i was walking north. A low leafy tree branch hung in my way from the west, so i had to duck a little to get under it. I pushed it up a little with my left hand as i moved a little to the east to get around it. I was now outside again at the event, which seemed like some kind of festival. I turned to the west, on the southern side of the area. I was holding a drink in my right hand, which seemed to be in a plastic bottle. In my left hand was a can of beer, which i sipped from. I thought that the event was over, and i had to finish my drink so that i could leave. I did not want to have too much alcohol, though, but i continued to drink from the can to finish the beer. Another man was standing no the northwest of me, about three meters away. He was talking to someone to the east of him. I took another sip of the beer, feeling the foamy texture in my mouth. It seemed like a cheap beer, and i was not interested in the drink and did not want to finish it. I decided to throw it out, so i held it over a black barrel of trash that was to the south of me and tipped it over. When it was finished draining, i shook it and then tossed the can in the barrel. As i stood up, i noticed that the man to the west had a small square table just to the south of him with empty bottles on it, so i pulled the can out of the trash and put it on the southeastern side of the table. I looked at the translucent white bottle that was in my right hand. I realized that it did not have a cap on it, so i searched in the left pocket of my jacket for the cap, hoping that i still had it. I felt it in the pocket, pulled it out, and screwed it on to the bottle as i moved toward the table again. I then turned to the northeast and started walking back toward the main part of the festival, which seemed to be ending. I started up a grassy hill as i turned to the north. It was dark out now, and i was having trouble seeing in front of me. A branch hung across the hill from the west, and i moved a little to the east to avoid it. I knew that the festival was ending and that people were now cleaning up. I was then aware of a man in front of me, sitting on the ground. He seemed to be playing a guitar, but i could not hear any music. I stopped in front of him so that i did not run in to him. I stood for a moment, aware of his presence, but i could not see him.

I was in the back seat of the car as the others drove to he south. We were in a small parking lot. My grandmother seemed to be in the driver’s seat of the car, but she did not seem to be the one driving. The car slowed to a stop near a small building, which seemed to be a bank. I looked to the east of the building, noticing the name of the bank in narrow blue letters on the white cement wall. It seemed like one of the local banks. The car then pulled forward a little, shifting to the west. To the west of us was another small building, which also seemed to be part of the bank. I thought that the driver was trying to get us close to the ATM of the drive-through. The other bank seemed to be tan or light brown, and it had “AFCU” written on the side. This was also a common local bank, but the name seemed to confuse me. I recognized the letters, but the first one seemed different than i remembered. I then felt a little confused. I thought that we needed to get money from the bank to the east, so i did not understand why we had pulled up to the bank to the west. I ask my grandmother why we were here as some men got out of the car. Something did not seem right. Looking to the west, i saw some people stop in surprise as the men got out of the car. It was dark out, and the car lights illuminated the buildings around us. The men seemed dressed in black and looked like silhouettes as they moved against the bright spots on the buildings. The woman in the long wool coat stopped, her arms hooked through the person’s arms to the west of her as they looked in surprise at the men. My grandmother had also gotten out of the car and was passing to the south of it to join the men. She crossed the front of the car, heading southwest. She also seemed to be a silhouette against the lights on the building, and i noticed that she seemed to have something in the right pocket of her jacket. The silhouette looked long, and i thought that the people walking might have thought that it was a gun. I felt that i should warn them that my grandmother would not have a gun. My grandmother moved with the men to the south, to the western side of another small building. An entryway was set into the building, under the flat roof. It was on the western side of the building, and the entry door was to the east of it. The northern side of the building was a large multipane window, and i could see the small anterior room of the bank, which seemed like a mailroom. It was lighted with dim incandescent lights. A thick pine shrub grew just to the east of the recessed entry area of the building, blocking the view through the western part of the window, but i could see the silhouettes of people entering the inside room from the west. To my surprise, someone held a small shotgun over their heads, pointing it to the east. They were robbing the bank. This did not seem right. I knew that this was something that my grandmother would not do, and i wondered why she would steal money. I felt suddenly concerned, thinking that this situation was not correct. The scene changed suddenly, and i was in my grandmother’s kitchen. I felt tired, and i was lying on the floor, with my head to the north. Something did not feel right. I wondered if i had been drugged. I continued to lay on the floor, wondering if the police would be coming to the house. I thought that i could stay on the floor and let them find me in a groggy state. I then wondered if they would find any drugs in my system. I thought that i could probably take a small amount just to have traces in my system, in case the initial dose had worn off. I would not know where to find the sedatives, though. I felt confused. Someone else was also on the floor near me, to the east of me. I lay still, wondering what to do, and i tired to fall back asleep. I then heard a sound that woke me. It sounded like a cat meowing. I lifted my head a little to hear. I was lying on my stomach, and my face was to the east. I listened for a moment, but did not hear anything. Just as i started to put my head back down, i could hear the muffled sound of a cat again. I thought that it must be a cat outside, at one of the doors. I stood up, thinking that the other person could stay sleeping on the floor. I went to the east to look out the window of the cellar door, which was to the southeast of me. I could not quite see out the door, but i turned to the north and walked to the door in the center of the northern wall. A small gray cat crouched on the porch outside. I thought that it wanted some food. I looked down at the floor to the northwest of me, noticing a small glass jar. I thought that i would give the cat some food from the supplies that were against the western wall of the room. As i picked up the glass jar, though, i noticed that it only had a few crumbs in it. I shook the jar, moving the crumbs around. I wondered if there was any other food. I looked around on the ground, but could not see any. I felt bad for the cat and wanted to give it something, but i was not sure what to give it. I then thought that i should give it the rest of the crumbs anyway. I headed south, into the center of the kitchen to get something. I then turned around and pulled open the northern door. As i did, i heard something to the south of me. I thought that someone was coming in the door on the southern side of the house. I looked down the corridor that ran to the south from the kitchen. I could not see anyone, but it seemed that someone had come from the upstairs and stopped just around the corner to the east of the end of the corridor. I headed to the south as i heard someone ask who was there. It was the sound of my grandmother’s voice. I called back to her, surprised that she was in the house. A closed seemed to be on the eastern side of the hallway, and my grandmother moved out of it quickly and turned to the south. She disappeared quickly around the corner to the east, heading back to the bottom of the stairs. She was not wearing any pants, and i could see that she had dark-red and white underwear in a floral pattern. She must have been getting dressed. This seemed strange. I moved to the south, but other men were suddenly in the room. They seemed to have come from where my grandmother was. They were young men, and there were four or five of them. I thought that they were the people who had been at the bank. They moved in front of me, forming a wall from the south to the east of me. A few of the men held handguns toward me, pointing them at my face. I felt confused, not sure what they were doing. One of the men to the east of me then told me to give them the money. I felt nervous, not sure what to do. I did not have any of the money that they had stolen. I asked what was happening, and i was surprised that my grandmother would be involved with these people. This did not seem right. Something seemed wrong with the situation. One man to the east of me then said that the money was in the pocket of my jacket. He said that it had been put there as i was unconscious. I felt annoyed with the men. I remembered the dull-red trench coat that i had been wearing, and i remembered that i had taken it off as i woke up in the parking lot. I told the man this, annoyed with him for not telling me. He seemed angry and moved to the north a little. Someone asked why i would take off the jacket, and i felt angry with them. I started talking in a stern voice, saying that i would not have taken off the coat had i known that they had put the money in the coat. I felt frustrated with the men. As i finished the statement, i realized that my voice sounded strange. It seemed dry and more high pitched that it usually was. I thought that it almost sounded comical. One of the men then snickered as i turned back to the south. I felt annoyed and wondered why i sounded so strange.

I moved to the window in the eastern wall of the house, which seemed like my parents’ house. The gravel driveway ran along the eastern side of the house, and two cars were parked to the east of the window. The cars were facing west. Below the front of the northern car was a small kitten. It meowed for attention, looking at the house. It was crouched down. It had gray patches over white skin. I did something with the window and looked back up, noticing a second cat lying on the ground to the southwest of the first. It had similar patterns as the first, but its patches were orange. They both looked at the house longingly. I thought that they needed something, but i did not think that i had anything to give them. I adjusted the lower pane of the window, pulling it closed. I felt bad about not responding to the cats, but i thought that there was nothing that i could do for them here. I moved a little to the south, feeling guilty for not helping the cats. I did not want to turn away from them, but i knew that there was nothing i could do here to help them.

I was in the airport, and something was delaying people from getting where they needed to go. I faced southeast in the room as several groups of people walked in front of me. I felt annoyed that some of the groups were causing delays. Donald Trump then came from the south and paused to the southeast of me. He seemed to be one of the people causing problems. I thought that he was trying to do something, but he was failing at it. I felt annoyed with him, because i knew that he was not concerned with the problems that he was causing others. I then thought that he was really not smart enough to realize the damage that he was doing. The crowd moved around me again, and i could not make out the groups of people. I turned to the east, looking at an area that was clear. Kamala Harris stepped from the north and stopped in the middle of the empty space. She seemed hesitant, and she was wearing blue jeans and a brown long-sleeve sweater. She also seemed to be wearing a hat. I wondered if she was one of the people causing trouble with the airport.

I moved into the room from the west, thinking that i had been delayed on the bus. I felt a little frustrated as i entered. This place was my office, and i seemed a little late. Desks were set up in the room, facing north. They were in lines on either side of the room. A woman was to the northeast of me, doing something near the eastern wall. I said something to her as i moved to a desk to the east of me. The woman seemed to be $A643. As i put my things down on the gray metal desk, i heard music and a chorus singing. I thought that $A643 was singing. This seemed strange, because it was not normal for an office environment. I looked up as she carried a small watering can to the west, across the room. She was humming the sound of the chorus, and i wondered where the main sound was coming from. I realized that she had turned on a radio, which was sitting on the shelf on the eastern wall where i had been. A man sat at the desk to the north of me, and he was looking up, to the north at the radio. It seemed strange to have such loud music in the office, but i shrugged and decided i would have to work with it. I glanced at $A643, who was doing something along the western wall of the room, facing west. She did not seem to notice anything out of the ordinary about the situation. I put a bag on the eastern side of my desk as i started to sit down.

I followed the others to the southeast, moving out of the room and into the small outdoor area. As i passed through the doorway, a man was to the west of us. He was hiding behind a black curtain, but he was taunting us. I stopped just to the east of him, feeling very annoyed. A young boy was on his shoulders, and the boy was leaning over the top of the curtain, extending his arms toward my face. The man was talking, but the boy was pretending to be the one offending us. The boy had a round face and flat brown hair that came down to his ears. He seemed to hunch over the pole that held up the curtain, and he held his arms out straight toward us. Both of his hands were together, and he had a small cardboard cutout of a face on his hand. The face was about three or four centimeters tall, and it was of Donald Trump. I knew that Donald was the person behind the curtain, and i felt annoyed with him. The boy wore the cardboard face like a ring on his left hand, and he bobbed the face up and down as Donald spoke from behind the curtain. Donald seemed to be insulting and aggressive. After a moment, i felt annoyed with both the boy and the man, and i grabbed the face and tore it off the ring. The boy seemed surprised, but the man continued to curse as though he had not noticed. I move a little to he south, thinking that we could do something to Donald. I moved to the south of the small square booth formed by the black curtains. The booth seemed to extend from the eastern end of the southern side of the house. I looked over the curtains from the south, seeing the man in a dark suit with his face in the curtains on the eastern side of the booth. The boy was still hanging over the curtains. I thought that we should pull Donald’s pants down as a prank. I felt nervous about doing it, but one of the other men with me moved into the booth and tugged at Donald’s pants. The pants came down, and we started to laugh. We turned and headed away, amused by the embarrassment of the crude man.

I was listening to the other person speak as we moved to the northwest. I glanced down to the southwest at the numbers on the paper. They had to do with the conversation that we were talking about. The numbers seemed like percentage, and they seemed like “33%” and “66%”. They had something to do with the balance of a calculation. I talked to the other person about it, noticing the darkness to the southwest of me. I was looking down to the southwest, into open space, and i could see some stars. I thought about the numbers, thinking that they had something to do with the ratios that we needed to achieve to do something. The man spoke about the numbers as we continued to the northwest, and i realized that the next number in the series would be in the future. I thought that these numbers were all connected, so some of the pieces of this calculation were in the past, but one of the pieces seemed to be in the future. This seemed like an exciting realization, and i considered it as i looked to the west, into space. I thought that this might be a nice story as part of Battlestar Galactica, and i felt excited about developing it.

I stood near the western side of the room as others got ready for something. $F12 was to the southeast of me, talking to $A535. The room seemed like part of an old warehouse that had been converted into a living space. The cement walls were crude, and a thick square cement column was just to the west of me, about a meter from the western wall. I looked to the south as others got ready for something. A very good friend of mine was to the south, getting ready for the ceremony. He seemed like $F10 or $Z. I was wearing a dress shirt, and i patted my chest as i adjusted it. It seemed like a dark-magenta long-sleeve button-up shirt. As i patted the buttons near my chest, though, a white powder puffed up. I was surprised, and i realized that the powder that i had used on my face must have fallen into my shirt. I felt annoyed, and i thought that i would have to do something before the wedding ceremony so that my shirt did not look like it had white powder all over it. A mirror seemed to be hanging on the wall to the west. I was looking in the mirror when i used the powder. It seemed that a lot of the powder must have fallen into my shirt. I felt annoyed, and i wondered how i would clean it. I would have to take off the shirt and shake it out. I faced south as a few others came from the south. They seemed to pass through a doorway just to the south of me. They were a group of three or four men, and they were also in dress shirts. They chatted with one another as they neared me. One of the men asked me about the ceremony, and i thought about $Z to the south, feeling very close to him. The man then mentioned the food for the wedding. I told him that i was very good friends with the man to the northeast, and i turned to look at $F12 and $A535. I felt very close to $F12. I said that $F12 was doing the food for the ceremony, and i mentioned that $A535 was his wife. I looked down at my chest again. I was now wearing a dull-blue shirt. Small white spots were on the front of the shirt, near my belly. The white powder was seeping through the fabric. I tried brushing it off, but more spots appeared. I turned to the north, now in a room that seemed more like a hallway space. It was to the north of the room i had been in. I was heading to the bathrooms, which were to the north of me. The other men were gathered in a group to the northeast of me. They were still talking about something. One of the men had started to take off his white shirt, and i noticed that powder was also coming from his shirt. I commented on it, saying that i was having the same problem. I mentioned him powdering his face with the white chalk. The man pulled off his off-white shirt and dropped it on the floor to the east of him. As the shirt crumpled to the floor, i could see a thick layer of white powder on the inside of the upper chest of the shirt. It seemed to form a flattened cone shape. I thought that i must have just as much white powder in my shirt, and i tried to remove my shirt to get it out. I looked at a mirror on the western wall, noticing powdery white spots on my shirt. I then heard some of the men singing from the north. I fooled with my shirt for a moment as i listened to the lyrics of the song. In one of the lyrics, the man mentioned Endicott and sang about something in the town. I found this amusing. These men seemed to be part of a local band, and they were singing about the town that they lived in. I remembered that i had started a song with lyrics about the town i lived in, and this song seemed to inspire me to do more with my song. I turned to head to the south thinking about the song. I seemed to have gotten the dust out of my shirt now. I paused for a moment, remembering that i had a glass of something with me. I turned to the northeast to pick it up from the round table that i had just passed to the east of, but the glass was no longer on the table. Some of the other men passed to the northeast of the table, heading southeast. I said something to them as i held my right hand out, as if reaching for the glass. I told them that i had left my Return of the Jedi glass on the table. I looked back to the south, thinking that someone had taken the glass while we were getting ready in this room. I felt annoyed, and i walked to the south, leaving the other men. I wondered if someone had walked past and taken the glass with them. I headed down across the oddly shaped room, which seemed like a hallway on the eastern side of the building. I turned to the west, noticing that the store to the west of me was filled with used items. The glass counters and tables seemed filled with items that people had sold. I thought that it was somewhat like a pawn shop. I noticed a drinking glass that had “Speedy Gonzalez” printed on it on a shelf to the south of the doorway. I wondered if someone had taken my glass and brought it here to sell. I felt suspicious, and i looked around from the doorway of the store. I was trying to see if i could see the woman who might have taken my glass. I was then aware of a man looking inquisitively at me from the northwest. He seemed to be a shopkeeper, and he seemed to want to help me. I waved my right hand at him, telling him that i was looking for someone. I did not want to tell him that i was looking for a glass that i thought had been taken. I thought that he might be defensive, so i told him that i was looking for someone. I stood up a little higher and looked to the west. The area on the southwestern side of the store seemed to have tables in it, and some people were sitting at the tables as though in a cafe. I stepped into the store to look around a pillar or short wall that extended from the center of the southern wall, blocking the southeastern part of the western area with tables. I did not see anyone that i recognized, but i thought that it did not matter. I was looking for my glass. I thought that i probably should not have taken it to this area. I should have kept it at home so that it did not get taken. I thought that it was probably a collectors’ item. I thought that i should have brought a different glass, which was not related to a popular show.

12023 September 22

I walked to the north, thinking that i had to change my clothes to do something for the event. Others were walking with me, but they stopped in the middle of the room do to something. I continued to the north, thinking that i could go to the locker room in this building to change my clothing. I turned to the east in a corridor that seemed to run down the northern side of the building. This seemed to be an old sports building at a college. The halls were dimly lighted and the walls seemed to be stone. Looking into the first room, i could see a group of men sitting or standing in the center of the room. The room seemed crowded, but it seemed like a locker room. I felt a little hesitant to go in, because i thought that the people might be from a team and the locker room seemed crowded. I hesitated a little, but i continued walking to the east. Through the window of the next door, i could see men in red shirts walking to the west. I thought that this was also part of the locker room, so i should be able to change in here. As i got a little closer, though, i could see that the room had chairs in it that faced north. The room seemed to be a small lecture room, and the men in the red shirts seemed to be part of a sports team. I thought that they were having a meeting. I decided that i should not interrupt the meeting, so i turned back to the west to head to the locker room. I still felt uncertain about going into the room to change. The room seemed crowded, and i did not quite seem to belong to this place. I paused for a moment, but i eventually pushed open the door and entered the locker room. The room was rather small as i entered. It was only about two meters wide and about three meters long. The people sat along all three walls. The walls were pale and seemed to have a texture, like metal freezer walls. The room actually seemed like the back of a truck, and it was very crowded. I reached the southern wall, where some people were sitting against the wall on raised surfaces. I felt uncomfortable here. The room did not have enough room for me to change in. I decided that i needed to get out of the truck, and i turned around and headed back to the north. I was having trouble walking to the north, though. So many people were in the room that i had a hard time moving past them. I struggled to step to the north, finding myself caught in the crowd. I started to feel frustrated. The back door of the truck was open. It had swinged to the west. A friend of mine was in the doorway, and i asked him to help me get out. He seemed to be $A717, and he looked long and stretched out. He reached into the truck with his right hand, grabbing my right hand. He braced his right foot against the open door and his left foot was on the ground. He held the top of the truck with his left hand. I was waiting for him to pull me out, but he kept adjusting his stance. I felt impatient, wanting him to pull, but he seemed distracted. I could feel pressure on my right side as i tired to squeeze through some people. I tried pulling on $A717’s hand, but he was not quite ready. I felt annoyed. I wanted to get out of the truck. $A717 finally stopped and pulled, and i stepped out of the truck. We started to the north, with my friend to the west of me. We had to do something. We were in an alley, which ended to the north at the back of the old building. I started flying along the eastern side of the alley. When i reached the northern end, i turned to the west, flying over the green metal dumpster that was against the northern wall of the alley. We had to do something.

I was sitting on a raised surface that was on the southern wall of the area. I had been talking to the man to the west of me, but someone had called me on my cell phone, so i held the cell phone in my left hand as the other person said something. The person on the phone seemed to be figuring something out and not talking directly to me. I held the phone in my hand, which was resting on my left leg as i sat. The man to the west of me had to leave, and he stepped up the stone steps to the building. I tried to say something to him, but i did not want to interrupt the person on the telephone. I was aware of someone to the east of me. The man to the east seemed like $A103, and he was sitting on the stone surface, listening to me. He seemed to be sitting on the same surface that i was, but a short stone wall separated us. I turned to the west as the man started to pull the door closed behind him. I really wanted to say something to him, but i thought that it would interrupt the man on the phone. The man to the west left, and i turned my attention back to the cell phone in my hand. I wanted to say something to the man to the east of me as well, but i listened to the sounds that the person on the cell phone was making. I felt distracted.

I was waiting in the small waiting room of the station. I was waiting for the train or bus to arrive. I had to get somewhere, and i was hoping to get on the bus soon, but i knew that i might not be able to get on. I felt anxious about getting a ride. A man came from the southwest and told me that i would be able to get onto the bus that was about to leave. I followed him to the southwest. Something about this place seemed old, as though i were in the past. I thought that i was somewhen in the early 11900s. We crossed a dirt street toward a vehicle that was parked on the western side. As we crossed, someone approached the man from the south and said that he would have to transport a prisoner. I felt uncomfortable, thinking that i might not get a seat in the car. The man looked at me in a disappointed expression and then continued walking to the southwest. We were in a room now, and we moved to the south of the car. The car was an old automobile, with no roof and thin fenders over the wheels. The rear of the car was rounded. It did not seem that much wider or longer than a normal automobile, but it had brown leather seats that ran around the edges of the rounded back and two rows of seats facing forward in the center. The seats were crowded with people who were waiting for departure. The vehicle was facing southeast now, and we were to the west of it. The man escorted the convict, whose hands seemed to be handcuffed in front of him, to one of the seats in the center of the vehicle. The seat faced forward, in the middle of a curved row. The seat just to the northeast of the convict seemed to be open, but it was a small triangular seat with no back. I thought that the man who was driving the vehicle would try to put me there. I felt uncomfortable about sitting next to the convict. The convict seemed to be wearing tan denim overalls. The driver stood to the north of me, and he told me that there was actually an extra seat that i could use. He said that it did not seem like much, but it was okay for me to us. He made it sound as though it was a special place that passengers usually did not ride in. He directed me to the southern side of the car, which now seemed to be facing east. I could see a set of steps that descended along the southern side of the car. The flight seemed like many steps, but it did not seem to descend that far as it went down to the east. The driver said that the space was under the car. I felt skeptical, thinking that having compartments under the car was probably legal in this era, but i knew that it would not be considered safe in my era. I moved to the east, along the eastern side of the car anyway, tying to see what the space would be like. As i reached the front of the vehicle, i could see a narrow walkway turn to the north and run under the front of the car. The car seemed to be in a small wooden pen with 2-by-six planks along the borders. The walkway was a worn area along the eastern side of the pen, and a white sign with an arrow was on the eastern rail of the pen, pointing to the north to show the way to the hidden compartment. I looked down the path that led under the front of the car, and it seemed that i would have to crawl under the car to get to it. I did not want to squeeze into the compartment, and i decided that i would not ride under the vehicle. I turned back to the west and walked to the rear of the car, thinking that i could tell the driver that i was claustrophobic and did not want to be in the compartment. I decided not to say that i was claustrophobic, which i know was not true, and i just told him that i did not want to ride under the car. I felt disappointed, thinking that i would not be able to travel to my destination. I felt discouraged, and i told the driver that i would just walk. I felt bad, and i thought that it would be a very long journey. I then thought that it would take more than a day for me to walk. I thought that the bus would be leaving this place tomorrow morning as well, so i could wait for it. I did not want to do so, and i felt a little dramatic about the situation, so i said that i would simply walk. I pictured the place as being somewhere to the northeast of me. I started walking to the north, away from the people gathered with the car or bus. I wondered what i should be doing, and i paced around for a moment on the eastern side of the room. I pulled my wallet out of my pants, suddenly cautious of the people around me. I knew that i did not belong in this time period. I was not sure what i would need in this time period. A man was then to the southwest of me. He asked me about the strange coins. I felt nervous, thinking that he had seen the dates on the coins that i had and would have noticed that they were from the future. I wondered what i should do, but then i thought that it would be a better story if i mistakenly let the others see that i had money from the future. I crouched down and quickly picked up the coins that i had dropped on the wooden floor to the south of me. As i picked up the coins, i noticed that they were not all United States coins. They seemed to be from different countries. I said something about this to the man, still wondering if he would notice that the coins i had originally had were from the future.

I walked to the north, along the eastern side of the room of the apartment. I had to meet $F71 soon. We were going to take a bus out of this area early in the morning, and i thought that we would need to leave soon. I had to get some things done. I then heard the doorbell ring. I remembered that i had been talking to a young woman earlier about a helmet. I looked through the wall to the west of me, which was made of tall panes of glass. A corridor seemed to be on the other side, and i could see across the corridor to the entry doorway on the other side. I saw a woman standing at the door with a pinkish-orange bicycle helmet on. I thought that she was the young woman i had spoken to earlier. She had said that she might have a helmet that i could use for the trip. I thought she had come by to drop it off. I felt grateful that she had been able to find it, and i walked around the southern end of the eastern wall and opened the door. The woman was straddling a bicycle, and she stood in the middle of a corridor that ran west from the door. A man stood over a bicycle to the west-southwest of her in the corridor, and two young children were on bicycles to the southwest of him. The man waited about two meters behind the woman while she talked to me. The exit door of the corridor seemed to be to the south of the children. I said something to the woman, realizing that she was not the same young woman that i had seen earlier. She was older, and i felt a little confused with her presence. I moved to the north of the woman as the man said something to me. The man was wearing the pinkish-orange helmet, and he took it off of his head and offered it to me. It looked rather small as he held it, and i asked if it was a large helmet. The man seemed confused, and the woman told me that it was a small. I felt upset, saying that it would probably be too small. I did not want to seem ungrateful, but i could tell by the size of the helmet that it would not fit me. I took the helmet and put it over my head. It was too narrow to pull down and sat on the top of my cranium. I felt bad that the people had come all this way and i would have to reject their gift. I handed the helmet back to the man, thanking him and telling him that it would not fit.

I was doing something, and $F71 was to the southwest of me. He had taken the thing that i had in my left hand, but i felt discomfort in my fingers. I pulled back as he walked to the southwest. I could see the tongs of a plastic fork stuck in the ring finger of my left hand. $F71 must not have realized that the black plastic form had broken when i was holding something. I pulled the two tongs out of the tip of my finger, but something still hurt. I looked more closely at my finger, noticing that a large crystal structure had been wedged under the finger nail on the outside of the tip of the finger. The finger seemed to hurt a lot, and i grabbed the object and pulled it out, thinking that it was a piece of glass. A large chunk of the glass broke off and fell out, but my finger still hurt. Looking at the glass in the palm of my hand, i could see that it looked like a piece of fractured plate glass. It was about a centimeter long and about three millimeters thick. It had fractures all through it, like shattered car glass. It did not seem to have sharp edges, so it had been wedged into my finger but did not cut my skin. I knew that the end of the glass piece had broken off, though. I could still feel pressure in my finger. I could not see anything from the top of my finger so i looked at the top, trying to look under the nail. A small cavity was under that nail, but it seemed large as i looked at it, as though i was looking at a magnified version of my finger. The cavity seemed to be several centimeters deep and about a centimeter wide. At the back end on the right side, i could see a small crystal piece embedded in the back of the cavity. I would have to get it out, and i thought that i would need the tweezers. I felt the tweezers in the cavity, and i tried to reach the small piece of glass.

The bus was stopped, facing east, and i was on the bus with family members. We had been traveling somewhere. I moved around the front of the bus, thinking we would continue traveling. I thought that it would be fun to ride on the front of the bus as we traveled. A small seat seemed to be on the right side of the front of the bus. As i moved around the font end of the bus, i thought that a seat should be set into the bus on the left side of the bus, and the driver would be on the right side. The driver seemed to be to the west of me now, almost in the center of the front of the bus. I pictured a compartment set into the bus to the north of him, but i sat on a wicker chair that was on the front of the bus, near the southern side. As the bus started moving, i realized that it seemed like a strange place to sit. I could feel the wind moving over my face, and i thought that we were on a highway. It seemed strange to be riding on the front of a vehicle, and i realized that it would not be allowed. I started to feel a little nervous. It did not seem that we were going that fast, but i knew that we were. I looked down, thinking that the chair was only hung from the front of the bus. I did, however, seemed to be standing on a platform that extended from the bottom of the bus. The bus was stopped when i shifted position, looking up over my right shoulder to see the front of the bus. I thought that the chair would be a bad idea on the bus, simply because it was not aerodynamic. I looked at the southern side of the eastern end of the bus. The bus was off white or very pale tan, and it had a darker tan line across the side of it. The lower section of the front of the bus, where the chair was attached, was vertical, and the upper part, where the windshield was, slanted back slightly. The outside corners were rounded to the sides of the bus. At the top of the front of the bus, a fin extended from the roof about a deci and a half, shading the windshield. The fin was rounded, but i thought tat it was not at all aerodynamic. The fin would trap wind passing over the front of the bus. I stood up and walked to the southwest, around the corner of the bus. $K1 was near me now. She seemed bitter about something that had to do with the chair that was on the front of the bus. I thought that she wanted to do something and was trying to make it so that i could not do it. I realized that she was being selfish about the situation, and i found this strange. It seemed like something she would have done as a child. I headed into the bus and started walking to the west, thinking that i would just ignore the situation and not argue with her.

I talked to the others in the building, trying to decide where we should go to get the things. It seemed that we were in an old department store, and we were here to get something. The eastern wall of the room was a few meters to the east of us, and an elevator door in the wall opened up. I was aware of a metal door to the north of the elevator, and i thought that it was the stairs. I thought that we could take the stairs down, but i motioned to the elevator doorway, telling the others that we needed to go to another floor to get what we needed. I paused for a moment, waiting for the others to respond. They finally agreed, and i started moving toward the elevator. I called to the others to hurry them along. As i reached the elevator, the doors started to close, so i quickly stepped inside and put my arm against the door to prevent it from closing. The door did not stop closing, though. It continued to move to the south, and i had to withdraw my hand from the opening before the door closed. I stopped inside the elevator after the door closed, waiting to see if i could open them again. Instead, the elevator started descending. I felt annoyed, wondering where i would be going. I glanced at the panel to the north of the door, noticing that the buttons looked crude. They were set into a plywood surface. I started to worry that this elevator was a freight elevator and would not take me to a public place in the store. I felt the elevator quickly drop, thinking that it was moving more quickly than normal. When it stopped, the doors opened, and i could see a crude corridor outside. The western wall of the corridor was plywood, and a tall yellow folding ladder was leaned against the northern part of the wall within my view. I called into the corridor, trying to see if anyone was there. I looked at the buttons again, not sure which to push. They did not seem to be labeled in a logical way. I started to feel nervous about the situation. I looked back into the corridor again. A man was now sitting just outside the elevator, on the southern part of my view. He wore a button-up shirt and seemed to have glasses. I thought that he must have rolled his office chair from his desk into view of the elevator. He stared at me, obvious that he had not expected someone to be here. A second man walked into view, stopping just to the southwest of the first man. They both stared at me with confused curiosity. I asked them where the flooring would be, thinking that i was trying to find the supplies that we were supposed to buy. I thought that i could go to the place in the store where the flooring was and hope to meet the others there. The man said that it would be on floor two. As i looked back at the buttons, the door closed in front of me. I looked to the bottom of the board, expecting the number two to be near the bottom of the panel. The buttons were square with rounded corners. They were outlined with black, but they all seemed to be uneven, as though they were crudely drawn with a thick marker. I looked up the panel, noticing the number two about two-thirds of the way up. This seemed strange to me, and i realized that none of the buttons were in order. I reached to press the button with “2” drawn on it, but i realized that the button was not real. It was drawn on the wood of the panel in black marker. I felt confused, not sure what i should do. I noticed that most of the other buttons were real, but a few were not. They were all in a vertical line. I then noticed some text to the right of the “2”. It said that i should press “IBC” for two. I remembered seeing that button before, and i looked down the panel for it. It was the lowest button on the panel. I thought that it was the floor that i was at, but i was not sure. The letters on the button were crudely drawn, making the three letters look like a single symbol. The border around the button was also drawn unevenly. The upper left part of the button had been retraced, with one line dipping more into the button that the other. I pressed the lower button, hoping to meet the others on the lower floor.

I sat on the southern end of a long table that ran to the north. I was near the southern side of the classroom. Others were talking to the north of me, and i $F71 seemed to be sitting not that far to the north of me at another desk. He was facing south. The students in the class seemed young, as though in middle school. The teacher was sitting on the western side of the room, on the western side of a wide desk that did not seem that deep. She leaned forward on the desk as she spoke to the others, and she seemed to be $A57. Someone to the north of me then started talking to the teacher about something. I looked to the south, seeing a small piece of paper with text handwritten in blue ink. I had wrote notes on the piece of paper, and someone was now taking it to the west. I remembered this from before. I thought that i had handed in the paper. The teacher then talked to the person to the north of me, telling the person that i had actually finished the song. I knew that the song was written on the piece of paper, and i had handed it in with some of my other work for the class. The person to the north of me seemed female now, and she seemed to be someone that i knew well. She seemed to be concerned about the song, but the teacher assured her that i had actually finished the song. The teacher then continued: “But, he didn’t finish the song for you; he finished it for me.” This surprised me, and i perked up, turning to the teacher and asking “What?” The teacher looked at me with her lips pressed together. I was not sure why she thought that i had written the rest of the song for her. I had just handed it in once it was finished. I then started to look through my things as though looking for the paper. I tried to pretend that i was unaware that i had handed in the paper, and i was pretending to look for it. I leaned to the east and pickup up my satchel from the floor. I lifted the cloth lid and stated digging through it. I glanced up at the teacher. I remembered putting the song on the desk to the southeast of me, but someone had carried it to the west. I looked through my bag anyway. I then noticed that i had things in my bag from a long time ago. My bag was filled with lunch items. I had left for a long trip, and i realized that i must have left the lunch items in the bag while i was gone. They would be a few weeks old. I pulled out a small carton of something. Part of the carton was clear, and i could see a discolored liquid moving through it. The liquid had started to become moldy. I mentioned it to someone just to the northwest of me. I looked down into the bag, seeing several plastic bags of things. I pulled up a small loaf of bread in a plastic bread bag. The bag was filled with a liquid, and i thought that the bread must have gone moldy and then become liquid. The thin roll of bred was in the center of the bag. It looked okay, but the liquid around it sloshed in the bag as i moved the bag around to look at it. I told the other to the north of me that the food was all bad. I decided to throw it out, and i turned to the east to drop it in a metal trash can that was on the floor. The can had a white translucent plastic liner. I stared throwing out another bag, but it was dripping into the trash can. I stood up, announcing to the teacher that i was going to take the trash can out, because the food i was putting into it was moldy. I grabbed the can with my right hand and turned to the south, stepping out into the hall. I moved to the west and turned north. The hall seemed to run along the western side of the room. A janitor was to the west of me, and i told him that i was looking far a trash can to throw out the decaying food.

12023 September 26

The woman to the northeast of me announced that we would be landing soon. She seemed to be a flight attendant. I was sitting on the floor of the room, facing west. Several others were with me, and we had been talking about something. I thought that we would start the trip soon, and i was surprised that we were approaching the city. We seemed to be approaching Albany, but i thought that it would take a while before we were there. The woman leaned to the east, as though looking out a window. She said that we were approaching the landing now, saying that it was three hundred. I realized that we must be quite close, so i moved to the window to the northeast to see where we were. To my surprise, i could see the ground very close to us. We were moving to the northwest and turning to the west over a small are of buildings. I spotted a rectangular building to the northwest of us, and i recognized it. It had white sills on the windows, and the roof sloped to a flat surface in the center of the building. The slanted edges of the roof seemed to have white chimneys or vents. I knew the building to be one of the main dormitories on North Campus. A few of the other buildings that were passing under us were familiar as well. Ahead of us, to the west, i could see a low brick building and an open field. I knew that it was part of the school, and i said to no one in particular that i knew where we were. A man to the southwest of me moved near to see. I pointed out the tall brick building that was now passing to the north of us and told the man that it was Rockefeller. I then focused on the ground to the west of us. We seemed very low to the ground, but i did not see an airport. I wondered why we were passing so low to the buildings. I then thought that, because this was such a small airplane, we must be flying very lot to tour the town. We seemed to be passing over Collegetown, and i was aware of the wires that passed over the streets, between the buildings. I thought that we did not want to get too close to them. We were heading directly to the west, and a wide street was under us. The buildings on the sides of the street were a few stories tall, and they seemed to be near the center of the small area. I watched the wires that ran across them, realizing that we were now heading under the wires. This seemed strange. I thought that we would be too close to the road, but i knew that the small propeller airplane was giving a tourist view of the town. The street ahead of us descended a steep hill to the west, and we started flying down the hill. We got closer to the ground, and i wondered if we were actually going to land on the street. It seemed strange, but i thought that i was something this small airplane might do. Down the hill, i noticed some people on the street. A man on a bicycle was talking to some other people in the middle of the road. He had been facing east, up the hill, but he made a sudden turn to the south as something like a car passed him on the south. I wondered if he had maneuvered suddenly to go around the airplane. I could not quite make out the white shape that had passed by the man, but it seemed like it could have been the airplane. I was still heading down the hill, though, and i watched the street pass under us and get closer to us. At the bottom of the hill, the ground flattened out, and the angle between the flat area and the hill seemed sharp. I thought that the airplane would roll down the hill and use the flat area to stop. I then realized that i should not be seeing the airplane ahead of us, because i was in the airplane. I saw the ground under me bounce a little as the wheels of the airplane touched the ground. We approached the flat area at the bottom of the hill, and the airplane stopped suddenly at the transition. I realized that we were actually on a flat surface at the bottom of the hill, and the angle in the ground that i was seeing was really a wall to the west of us rising. I looked up a little to see the rounded green front of the small airplane hitting the cement wall to the west of us. The wall seemed to be part of a building, and i thought that it was designed to stop the airplane on the runway. We had landed. I was then on the southeastern side of the room, facing west, as the people got out of the airplane. The airplane seemed to be to the south of us, and many people were getting off. I felt a little distracted, thinking that i still had to pay someone for the ride. I wondered if one of my friends had already paid the pilot. I did not know if i had to pay the pilot or my friend. I collected a few things of mine as i paced around in a small area near the southern wall of the room. The southern wall seemed to be the aluminium side of the airplane. I felt anxious that i was not sure whom i had to pay. I did not want to try to pay the pilot if someone else had already paid him, and i did not want to simply assume that he had been paid and not pay anyone. I moved around for a moment, trying to figure out what to do as i moved around some of the things that i had been picking up. I thought that i might not actually have cash to pay someone, so i would have to pay with a check. I thought that this might cause issues as well. I looked through a small envelope folder that i had in my hand, trying to see what i had with me. A woman was then to the west of me, and i asked her if the pilot had been paid for our flight or if we still needed to pay him. She seemed uncomfortably surprised by the question, and she said that i would have to pay the pilot. I still felt uncomfortable that i did not have cash, but i moved to the northwest, where a table was in the room. The people in charge seemed to be to the north of the table. I moved to the eastern end of the southern side, still brown holding the envelope-like container in my hands. I looked through the envelope as i waited for someone to the north of me. When a man stopped near me, i said that i would have to pay for the flight, and i asked if a check would be okay. The man said something in a stern voice. I felt nervous of him. He seemed like a cult leader, and i worried that he would be angry with me. He backed to the northeast a little, standing tall and looking down his nose at me with a frown. I asked him what he had said. He stared at me as another man moved to the west of him. He made a comment about something that seemed unrelated to what i had asked. It was a statement describing an object. I realized that he was not answering the question directly but making a reference to something. This was how he acted. I knew that he had a strange way of behaving, which was why he was respected as the head of the group. I thought that he was mentally unstable, but that was one of the reasons that people found him interested. I decided that he was telling me that he would not take a check, so i told him that i would have to bring him cash later. I waited for a response, but he continued to stand behind the table and stare at me. He seemed pudgy, with a bald head. His rounded belly stuck out as he stood with his hands at his sides. I looked through the envelope that i had in front of me, wondering what to do. I felt nervous of the leader, and i thought about how he was insane, but people still loved him. I then saw the word “homicide” written to the northwest of me. I realized that the man had been accused of homicide, and i was surprised that such an insane person would still be considered a creative genius. I thought that it might be the insanity that made him so appealing to others, but i was concerned that no one thought homicide was important enough to override the appeal. I then remembered another artist whom i remembered was insane. I wondered if this was the same man, and i asked someone to the north of me if the man was Gabriel. I was not sure that anyone heard; no one responded. I continued sorting through my things, wondering what to do.

I had been in the center of the large room, which seemed like the waiting area of a station. I was now in the northwestern part of the room, heading west. The room seemed dimly lighted, and the walls were dark blue. The walls seemed to be made of smooth cement. Several square pillars with rounded corners were at various places in the oddly shaped area. I moved to the west, where an internal corner of the room separated a small sitting area to the west from the northern side of the room. A young girl, who seemed to be around ten years old, was to the south of me, and she asked me a few questions. I replied, aware that i did not have any real relation to the girl. I knew that she was trying to be friends with me, but i felt a little uncomfortable with her interest in me. I answered her questions the best i could, but i thought that she should go back to her parents. A woman was to the northwest of us, and she turned to look at us as the girl asked me another questions. The girl was to the south of me, and she held up a piece of paper for me to look at. I was happy to answer the girl’s questions, but i added a comment that she should return to her mother. I wanted to make sure that the woman to the northwest of me was aware that i was not trying to mislead the girl. The girl continued to ask questions, though, and i kept trying to answer them as best i could.

12023 September 28

I was talking to the person to the north of me in the small room on the southern side of the house. Something to the west of us caught my attention. I turned to see a mound in the southwestern corner of the room. The mound seemed like a Yule tree with presents under it. A small coyote trotted along the northern side of the mound, following the curve of the conical shape to the eastern side. The animal then lay down on its side as if rolling playfully. I turned back to the man, talking about the house that we were in. It seemed to be the beginning of a period of time, and i had just moved in to this place. The man was introducing me to the place, which seemed like a fraternity or society. I felt mildly excited to be in this new place, but then i wondered if it would seem strange that i was living in a society house when i was not far from $P19, which seemed to be just up the street to the north of this house. I moved to the north, wondering where i should go. It seemed that the house was currently empty, and i thought that the others must not have come back yet for the semester. I headed to the east, toward the front of the house. A short hallway ran to the front door to the east of me, but i turned to the south and walked through a doorway in the southern wall. I entered a small room that was just off the entry corridor. It had bunk beds around the walls, and it had another door in the western end of the southern wall, mostly sound and a little to the west of the door i had just entered. The beds had thick wooden frames, and the uncovered mattresses had a light-blue plastic coating. I thought that i had been staying in one of these rooms. I then realized that i did not have a room of my own here. I looked around the room at the empty beds, trying to think if other bedrooms were in the house. I had been in the large room on the western side of the house, but i did not remember seeing any stairs that would go up to a second floor. I pictured the room with small rooms to the north and south of it. The kitchen and dining area seemed to be in the southeastern part of the house. I thought that all of the members of this place must be in this room, and i wondered if the room would be crowded. I tried to think of an upstairs, but i could not remember one. I headed to the southwest, coming into a hallway than ran north and south. The walls were paneled with pale wood, and the house seemed old but well maintained. A narrow rectangular slot was in the ceiling above me. It was about two-thirds of a meter wide and about three meters long north to south. I reached through it and grabbed the sides, pulling myself up. I swinged my legs to the west of me, trying to get them over the western edge of the landing above. I looked down at my shorts and legs as i lifted them. I was wearing a pair of brightly colored shorts that seemed to end just above my knees. The shorts were mostly bright blue, but they had sharp shapes in bright pink and yellow on them. I also noticed a black elastic knee brace on my right knee. I noticed that the bottom of the brace was loose. The elastic had worn out. I felt a little annoyed that it was loose. As i stood up, i realized that i was in the upstairs level of the house. The southern wall had the same pale wood paneling as the lower floor, and the paneling continued on the sloped ceiling. Many doors were in the walls all around me, and i thought that these must be the real bedrooms. I headed to the east, toward a closed wooden door. As i neared the door, a man came from the northeast. He was young, but he seemed to be older than i. I thought that he was one of the upper-class members of this place. He motioned to the door that i had been heading for and asked if it was the room that i had taken for a bedroom. I knew that i would have others in the room with me once all of the members moved back into the house, but it felt nice to be able to stay there now. The man seemed to think that it was fine for me to pick my own room. I worried that this might seem strange, because it seemed that i was a new member to this place, even thought i seemed older than the others. The man then turned to the north and spoke to someone else who had come into the hallway. I mentioned the beds in the room downstairs, saying that there were seven of them. I counted them in my head, working my way around the room. Some were on the southern wall and some were on the northern wall, with one on the western wall. I wondered why so many people would be sleeping in the room downstairs when there were bedrooms on the upper floor. I turned to the south, now in the doorway of the room off the entry hall, where the beds had been before. Others were now in the room, and the room seemed to have several desks around the walls and a large wooden table in the center. Many people seemed to be studying in the room. I walked across the western end of the room again, thinking that i would probably have to study while i was here as well. I thought that i probably would not study as much as i should, though.

My mother mentioned something about the middle pile of items on the table to the north of me, and i looked down at them. My mother was to the north of me, on the other side of the table, and i had just come from the west and done something with some things from the easternmost pile that was on the table. The long rectangular table had three piles of things on plates. They were dark elongated objects, looking like zucchini. The western plate seemed empty, and the eastern plate had many long tubular items on it. The items were about four centimeters thick and about twenty centimeters long. The objects in the center plate were smaller, and they had thin parts on the ends. I looked down at the center plate, repeating “venti”, which was the term my mother had used to refer to the items. I knew that the term was in a different language. The items that i had used from the eastern plate were referred to in English. I thought that i should use some of the dark things from the middle plate, but i did not.

The woman to the east of us was leaving to the southeast, and she said something to us. I was standing with a small group of people in the center of the room. I replied to the woman, saying something in Spanish. I stopped in the middle of the sentence, feeling suddenly strange for speaking Spanish. It seemed that i had said something about the time, but i had ended the sentence with “los”. A woman who was standing to the southeast of me turned and looked at me. She stared for a moment in question. I felt uneasy, thinking that i probably should not have spoken in a foreign language, because i probably said something that was wrong. I then thought that the sentence could be considered incomplete, because i ended it with an article. I took a step back and turned to the west, passing between two people: one to the north of me and one to the south. I moved into the room where my relatives were. I kept thinking about something. My mother seemed to be to the north of me, on the other side of a table or counter. I had been cooking something in the microwave that was on the shelf to the northwest of me. I moved to the west as my relatives spoke in the room to the southeast of me. I thought that i would have to take the thing out of the microwave and handle it carefully. I thought that it might be hot, but if i cut it in half, it would cook better. I pulled a bowl out of the microwave and put it on the counter to the north of me. The object was not a round solid object as i had thought it would be. Instead, it looked like a potato that had exploded into thin flat strands. The upper part of the object was brown and crispy, as though fried, and the lower part was still mostly white and soft. I put the food down to cut it, but instead, i broke it in half. $K3 was sitting to the west of me, and she said something. I turned to look at her.

I left the other person and headed to the northeast, walking around the outside corridor of the small tower. I seemed to be in a very tall building, and i was ascending the stairs that headed to the top. I thought that i had to get to the ninety-ninth floor, but it seemed like it was very far above us. I came around to the eastern side of the square tower, and i thought that i should use the elevator, which seemed to be in the center of the stairs that i was climbing. I stopped in front of a narrow door, which was to the west of me. The door was about a meter wide, and the walls were only about a quarter of a meter on either side of the door before the corridor of stairs wrapped around the elevator shaft. I walked into the elevator, finding the enclosed space uncomfortably small. I hoped that the elevator still ran correctly. I thought about how i needed to get to the roof of the building, and i wondered if this elevator went all the way to the top. I then thought that this building was the Empire State Building. The elevator started moving up, and i hoped that it went all the way to the roof on the ninety-ninth floor.

I was in a car that was moving quickly down the road to the east. The road ahead of us curved to the southeast, but we seemed to remain at the same location relative to the curve as we traveled. I glanced to the northeast, across the dry tan field grass that was on the sides of the road. We had to get to someplace just off the road to the northeast, and i thought that we would drive across the lanes to that direction soon. I then glanced to the southeast, remembering that we had passed around the curve before. I pictured dark smoke rising from the grass on the side of the road. We had turned off that side of the road previously. I seemed disturbed by the memory. Something about it seemed out of place.
