I walked with the other person to the northwest, heading through the large public building. The building was part of a conference center, and we seemed to be here for the event. I spoke to the other person, who was walking to the southwest of me. I felt good about the conference that we were attending, and it seemed as though we had been here for a few days. Something was changing, though. We headed down the stairs on the southwestern wall of the room. The stairs curved to the north, heading from the upper level of the store-like area to the lower level. I said something to the other person, and then noticed the box on the ground as we headed south, reaching a landing near the top of the stairs, which now seemed to be a second set of stairs. It was a small white box with a red figure on it. The figure seemed to be a caricature of a dog, and i knew that it was related to $G4. I wondered why it was at the conference. I passed to the west of the box and stopped to the southwest of it, bending over to get a closer look. I lifted the flat box, realizing that a six-pack of bottled beer was underneath. The pack of beer also had the red hound logo on it. I felt interested that $G4 was here, but wondered why they had come. A woman was to the northeast of me now. I looked up at her. She was young, and she was smiling widely as she hung some red decorations from the ceiling of the store. I realized that she was from $G4 and that she setting up a small area to sell merchandise related to $G4. I was very interested, but realized that i should probably not be touching the beer on the ground. I commented to the woman as i stood back up. A man was to the north of the woman, helping her set up. I left them and turned back to the northwest, heading down the stairs to the next level. I felt excited that there would be a small shop in this mall-like building that would sell $G4 merchandise. The room to the north and northwest of us seemed very open, with a relatively low ceiling. It still seemed empty, but i knew that they would opening it for the conference or festival. This level had not been open for the first part of the festival. Most of the room was painted medium-gray. I headed down a set of stairs, realizing that a second unfinished level was now open. I felt excited. The festival i was attending, which seemed similar to the Sundance Film Festival, was at the end of the first week, so the extra areas in the convention center were now opening up for it. I turned to the south again, noticing the windows on the southern wall of the room. They seemed familiar. I suddenly remembered looking out the windows from the first floor that we had been on. I leaned forward, looking down at a small courtyard below. I was on the upper floor of the building again, but it was only a memory. The building to the south seemed old and was faced with dark-red bricks. The gray courtyard below seemed paved with cement. I seemed to be three or four stories high. I was then on the ground floor again in the present, looking at the curved black bars on the window to the south of me. The bars formed an S shape, which curved away from the window at the bottom and toward the window at the top. I tried looking out the window, but i realized that i was not at the level of the courtyard. I walked to the west, exiting the building through the doorway that was to the west of the window. I said something to the other person as i stopped in the middle of the courtyard and looked back at the modern building that i had come from. The buildings on both sides of the courtyard were tall, blocking out much of the light from the overcast sky above. I looked up the side of the building to the north, thinking that it was not as tall as it seemed. I thought about how i had descended the stairs, and i felt that i had come down more stairs than seemed correct. I remembered what the courtyard looked like from the window on the upper level, and i could see what i thought was that window. It only seemed to be a few floors above me, though. It did not make sense. I had descended at least three floors, so the window should have been higher up on the building. I felt a little confused as i headed back to the north, into the building. I talked to $Z as i walked.

I turned to the north and then to the east, walking down the length of the wide room on the northern side of the building. This place was $P7, and i had come back after a long time. Everything seemed to have changed here, and i was interested in seeing everything, though i felt out of place. I knew that the students here were younger, and i wondered if i would stand out among them. I crossed through the southern side of the large room, which was a cafeteria as i thought about this. Everything seemed different, and i did not think that the students would think of me as another student. I wondered if my own classmates would recognize me. Some of them seemed to be in the room as well, though i had not run into them. I should have changed in some way, and i thought that i might not be as easy to recognize. I thought about they had changed. Many of them looked much older now, and some seemed to be out of shape. I then noticed two male students standing up to the northeast of me. They were facing to the east and they hugged each other. The then walked to the west, holding each other’s hands. I realized that they were homosexual, and it seemed suddenly strange that they were so open about their relationship now. I felt suddenly out of place again, thinking that actions like this would have been seen as contemptible when i was in this school. I then felt envious of them, wishing that i could be a younger student in this era, which seemed more open and accepting. I continued to the east, noticing a blond-haired student on the bench on the eastern side of a long table to the north of me. The two men had stood up just to the southeast of him, from the bench on the western side of the next table to the east. He frowned as he watched the men walking together, and he said something to the man sitting to the south of him. He seemed like a jock stereotype, but he did not seem to despise the men for being homosexual. I thought that he was just complaining about them for being so open about a relationship in the cafeteria. I continued to the east, walking into the hallway that ran north to south on the eastern side of the cafeteria. I thought about the man who had frowned, telling myself that no one really seems to care that the men are homosexual, just that they are displaying their relationship. I wanted to be in a high school like this. I turned to the south and walked down the corridor for a short distance. I was then heading back to the west along the northern wall of a wide corridor. I was still looking around the room, thinking about the students when i noticed that many of the students here were sitting in armchairs, facing north. I was trying to head to the western end of the locker room, which seemed to be related to the room that i was in. I thought that these students were sitting down for lunch, but they all seemed to be in rows that faced north, toward a blank wall. I could see some of the lockers on the western end of the room, and i remembered that i had put something in one of the lockers before. I had come from the south and put something in the gray metal locker that was on the western side of the room, in a row of lockers that faced south. The row seemed to be the northernmost row to the south of the central aisle of the room. I then realized that the row of students in armchairs in front of me extended from the south to the northern wall, with little space between the chairs. I had not been paying attention to the seated students, and i found myself trying to squeeze between two chairs. I looked up to the western end of the room. Fewer lockers seemed to be in the room that i had remembered. Only a small cluster of gray lockers was in the southwestern corner of the room, which seemed to be part of a store now. I felt a little confused, but decided that the real locker room must be farther to the west. I nodded to the student to the south of me as i pushed through the chairs. He seemed to be in middle school, and seemed to be wearing a red and blue sweater with thick horizontal stripes. I moved across the room, coming to the western end of the old corridor that i was in. A small doorway was in the northern wall. The wall around the door seemed unfinished. My father came from the east as i looked into the small wooden door in the wall. He had opened it because i thought that i should fix something in the room beyond. I had seen the ceiling of the small compartment to the north of the door through the opening in the wall above the small door. The ceiling of the room had white insulated paneling on it, but the paneling seemed to be strangely cut, and the part near the door was hanging loose. My father had been fixing up the room, and i thought that the panel must be coming down. I reached into the room to fix it. As i focused on it, though, i realized that it was not actually out of place. I closed the door, realizing that gaps were all around the door. I could see through the wall, which now only seemed to be made of studs and a few cross slats. I was still pulling on the door when i noticed the wooden hammer-shaped object on the long wooden pole. It acted as a latch for the door, and i was trying to pull it forward, over the top of the door. The pole slanted northward to the ground, on the other side of the door, but the wooden top, which looked like the club end of a polo mallet, was supposed to come over the top of the door to keep it closed. I could not quite get it to latch. $X1 was then near me. I felt suddenly worried about him, thinking that i could not let him get into the small room. I moved away from the door, but then realized that i had forgotten the paper. I had left it in the small compartment. I could see it resting on something through an opening over the door. Annoyed, i held $X1 to my chest with my right arm so that he would not run into the small room. I then opened the door to grab the paper with my left hand. I felt hurried because i did not want the cat to get into the unfinished room.

I stood on the top of the hill to the east-northeast of town. I was talking to several other people. The hill seemed high up, but it was very rounded. The main part of town seemed to be to the southwest of us. The person to the south of me commented on the view, and i looked out to the southwest. The hills around us were rolling, and seemed to have rather shallow slopes, though the valleys near us seemed rather deep. I could see several towers from the town to the west of us. It seemed picturesque. I focused on a square tower very near us. The tower seemed to be from a victorian house. The person talked of the movie and the view from here. I thought that old movies used to be filmed from this hill, with the view of the valley to the southwest in the background. It was quite a nice area. The land seemed open here, but i knew that it was more open when the films were done, which seemed like quite some time ago. The person then commented on the roof of the house to the southwest of us. I thought that the roof now seemed to block the view of the valley. It must not have been here when the movies were filmed. I looked at the large wide house. It was low to the ground, with wide flat red-tiled roofs. As i looked around the hilltop, i noticed that many houses were here now. They probably were not here when the movies had been filmed. It was a little sad that the houses had crowded around this area and ruined the view. I looked to the west, noticing a large square tower from one of the houses just down the hill. It interrupted the view of the valley. I knew that it was a famous house, though, but it really did not seem that tall. I thought that it should have been taller, but i knew that its height was probably kept low so that it did not stick out too much in the middle of the view. I then wondered if it used to be taller in the past. It could have changed over the years. The others around me were talking about the houses here, and i thought that they were all nice houses. This seemed like an expensive neighborhood. I looked to the southwest, at a wide low house that was just down the slope of the hill from us. It looked like a single-story building, with a strange corral shaped gate to the front. The gate was on the western end of the northern face of the building, which curved up hill slightly toward us. The man to the south of me described the building as i looked at it. The stucco walls seemed pink and tan, which seemed to be a strange set of colors. I realized that it was more reminiscent of a Caribbean house than of a house here in California. The pink seemed to be a strange color, though. The man then described the color as coral, and it seemed right. I focused on the house now, thinking that it was actually rather strange. The house now seemed to be an old darkly stained wooden structure to the southwest of a large rectangular corral. The corral was fenced in with a stucco fence that was painted in three colors. The bottom was reddish tan, the middle stripe was ashen tan, and the top was pale pink. The pink and white made it look as though it was constructed out of coral. This seemed like a strange house. I focused on the colors of paint along the eastern side of the corral. The fence was formed with rounded tall mounts that had horizontal boards running between them. The paint on the boards was cracked and seemed old and worn. This seemed a little strange. I then realized that the fence was probably made out of cement. The corral seemed more like an open basin, and the house to the east of the southern end of it seemed run down. The man described it as decrepit. I looked at the old house, which had a square wooden tower on the northeast corner. Trees had grown up the front of the building and were wrapping through the windows. The same type of wrapping branches had tangled up the boards of the corral. I wondered if this was an intentional design of the house, or whether it had actually been left unattended. It seemed strange that such an expensive house would have been abandoned. I turned to the west and started talking to some of the others with me. My parents were with me now as we drove to the west, down the steep hill and into town. The buildings around us seemed old, and a cement wall or structure was to the north of us. A man was walking up the sidewalk on the northern side of the street, along the tall gray wall. He was wearing gym shorts and a T-shirt, and he seemed rather attractive to me. I watched him as we walked past him, heading down the hill. He seemed familiar, and i thought that he might be part of a college sports team. My mother then commented on something, and i felt a little nervous that she had noticed i was watching the man. We were driving again as we headed up the hill. We passed the man, and i commented that i might know him. We then seemed to pass under a structure that crossed over the road. I continued walking with my parents along the sidewalk on the northern side of the road. I wondered if the man would be walking past me. I then turned to the north and passed through a doorway in the large wall. A set of stairs ascended to the east, up a steep slope, along the northern side of the thick cement wall. The bottom of the stairs was just to the east of the doorway. Just as i had started up the stairs, a man was coming down from the opposite direction. I realized that he was Kyle Dake. He was wearing a red singlet and he seemed to be jogging down the stairs. I watched him as he passed me, thinking that he was still rather attractive. I then called his name. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs and looked back up at me. He was only a meter from me at the moment. I was excited to meet him, and i congratulated him on winning the wrestling title four times. He smiled widely, happy that i had recognized him. He then moved forward and hugged me warmly in thanks. He let go and continued down the stairs and through the door in the wall. I was surprised by his openness and thought that it was strange that he had hugged me, but i found it very nice. Another man then came down the stairs from behind me. He was also wearing wresting clothing, and i knew that he was another wrestler from the college team. I knew that Kyle was helping him out. I turned to the east and continued back up the stairs. My parents were with me again as i reached the top and continued to the east, across the apartment. My mother was staying here, and i asked her about it. She sayed that she was staying here for a week. She then seemed concerned that i had asked, and she asked me if it was wrong that she was staying here. I did not know why she was upset, but i told her that i did not think that it was wrong of her to stay here. I added that i had asked just because i wanted to know. I moved around the apartment, thinking that i should do something. I was then heading to the west, down a road for a moment. My mother was in the car with me. She sayed that she had to get some soap. She had a special kind of soap that she liked. She said that she needed Saint Ives. I told her that we did not sell that type of soap in town here. I then added that we could take a trip to my grandmother’s town where it was sold. I added that my grandmother’s house was only fourty minutes away from here. My mother was to the south of me now, in the small bathroom on the southern side of the room of the apartment. I headed east across the room as i spoke to her. She was taking a shower. I then headed to the west to fix the entry door of the apartment. It had been broken. I looked at the old wooden door. A small rectangular window on the northern side of the doorframe had come loose. I had been cleaning the frame. I was careful of the broken grass in the window. The glass had been broken from a bullet hole in the center. I carefully pulled the glass out of the window, thinking that i would have to put the glass side panel back into the wall so that the window did not remain open. I looked for the pieces of the original glass panel that i could put over the open hole. I thought that i had put the pieces of the panel on the table to the south of me, but i could not see all of them. I moved to the west of the table, which was against the southern wall, and looked over the items on it. Several small ornately carved wood pieces were on the table, but i knew that they were not pant of the door. I wondered what they went to. I lifted some of them as i looked through them. I then realized that some of them were pieces from the old clock that i had on the wall. I thought that they would make a nice structure if they were put together properly. I then turned my attention to finding the pieces of the window. I found one of them, but i could not find all of the glass pieces. My mother then asked me what i was looking for, and i told her that i was trying to fix the window by the door. She seemed worried.

I was here attending college again, and i was now walking to the north across the western side of a quadrangle. $F14 was with me, walking to the west of me. I felt tense here. Something was happening, and i did not feel comfortable about it. My dorm was in one of the buildings to the north of where i was, on the northwestern section of the quadrangle. I looked to the west at the old stone building. This was the building where $A638 had his room. I remembered him, but was aware that he had long left the campus. I was back here, but i did not seem to be in my time here. I was aware that something was happening on the quadrangle around me, but i tried to ignore it. I felt upset and was not really interested in what other people were doing. I felt disinterested in these people. Someone was coming toward me from the north. I started doing something on the western side of the path as the walked past. Once they were past me, i continued to the northwest, toward $F14’s room. I entered the small room. I still had her key. $F14 was packing her bags on the bed, which was on the western end of the northern wall. She had to go to someplace. I felt agitated and wanted to go somewhere, but i knew that i had to stay here with her key. I felt annoyed that i had to remain with here key, and i asked her whether i could simply leave the key somewhere. I leaned to the south, sticking my head back out the front door of the building. The building seemed to be an old wooden shed. I thought that we should be able to leave the key somewhere on the front side of the shed, to the west of the main door. I looked down the side of the small building. The cabin was faced with vertical blanks that had battens running along their seams. A small square window was in the center of the wall. I thought that we had left the key somewhere on the front of the building the last time this scene was played. I told the people inside that we should leave the key outside, and i walked down the short flight of stairs at the entrance to the building. I remembered that a small hole in the ground used to be dug just under the front side of the building. It looked like a gopher burrow, but it was really just an erosion hole. I started walking along the building to the west, and i asked the others if i could leave the key in the hole. $A387 was standing in the doorway of the building now, and she seemed to think that it was a good idea. I stopped in front of the building, looking at the western side. The wall of the building was no longer complete. Some of the siding was missing, and i could see the stall inside. A few vertical beams were exposed. I felt confused, realizing that the building had changed in the many years since i had been back here. I said that the key must be here somewhere. I looked down at the ground, but realized that the hole had been covered up. The dirt had been built up around the base of the building so that the grass grew next to the stone foundation. I remembered the hole that led under the building, but it was now filled in. Someone must have changed the set up of the stall over the years. It was no longer a room like it had been. We would not be able to leave the key under the building as we had done in the past. I then wondered whether we would be able to hang the key somewhere in the stall. I thought that we might be able to put it on one of the beams that could be reached from the outside of the building.

I headed to the south, into the large open building. $F12 was with me. The area was round and had a wide flat cement floor. People were lounging on the cement floor, chatting with each other. The roof of the pavilion was held up by rounded cement columns that ran around the outside rim of the dome. I remembered this building from before. I had been here with $F12 in the past. I thought about the scene before. It had been dark the last time we were here, and i saw the empty pavilion at night. I turned to $F12, who was now standing to the north of me. I told him that we had been here before, trying to see if he remembered it. I looked to the south, seeing the sandy hill that ran upward to the road. The road ran to the southeast from the center of the small town. I remembered some building on the southwestern side of the road. The road ended in on a long jetty into the ocean, to the southeast. I remembered being here with $A7 before. We had come from the beach to the south, and had walked down the jetty to this place before. I felt very interested in this place. It seemed special. I asked $F12 if he remembered this place, but he seemed disinterested. I walked with him to the south, toward the road. I tried to remind him of the time before, saying that his brother had dropped us off on the beach and that we had walked up the road from the beach. We had entered the ring of columns around the area from the south before, heading down the shallow slope on the sides of the road. I looked back at $F12, but the person was no longer $F12. An old woman was now standing near me. She nodded, but did not seem to remember what i was talking about. Two other people were in the building near us now. I started to feel strange here. I turned to the east and started walking away from the building. I was slowly heading back toward the water.

12013 January 06

I headed to the north, across the darkened college area. It seemed like night, but i could still see the land ahead of me. The land to the west seemed mostly flat, with grassy lawn running toward the road in the distance. This place seemed very much like the land around $P$TC3. I was heading to the east, toward the wide flat building that was on the short hill. I was moving along the southern side of a road or driveway, which ran to the east, toward the campus. The road seemed to be in two lanes, which were separated by a narrow grass median with a metal guardrail in the center of it. The roads seemed to disappear into two rounded tunnels in the steep hillside. I started climbing up the hill, which curved around the tunnel entrances, forming a crescent slope around the driveway. I followed the southern part of the hill upward, turning to the north as i followed the curve of the slope. The slope of the hill had terraced plant beds that seemed to have white stones mixed in with the dark dirt. I followed the slope of the hill over the top of the tunnel entrances, glancing up the slope every once and a while. People seemed to be watching me from the slope to the east and northeast of me. I then looked up to see several people standing on the eastern side of a short railing, looking down the slope at me. They were under the overhanging roof of an open building to the northeast. The building seemed like a grandstand. I approached them, but realized that i was still trying to head toward the college, which was a large white building to the southeast of me, on the other side of the curved hill. I felt annoyed with myself for climbing up the hill and heading in the wrong direction. The others would wonder why i had not just taken the roads to get to the top. I thought that i had walked across the grass because i was a more direct route and because i thought that it would be quicker. I headed to the south, across the slope of the hill. I was descending again, and i started to feel annoyed because i knew that this was not the best way to go. I kept going anyway. I headed down the hill, this time walking across the roads to get to the grassy slope to the south.

12013 January 07

I was sitting at the table in the restaurant with $F42 and $F46, but i had gotten up because i had forgotten something. I felt a little confused, and i headed to the south to get something. I seemed to be missing my jacket, and i thought that i had left it on my bicycle. I walked to the south, trying to remember where i might have put my jacket. I remembered coming from $P30, which seemed to be to the north of this place. As i crossed the room, i wondered if i had left my jacket in the lavatory. I was then outside of the restaurant, near the western end of the southern side of the restaurant. The restaurant was a small white building, with dingy paint on the plaster surface. I walked to the north, along the road, which was to the west of the building. The building seemed to be in a rural area, but i knew that we were near $P30. As i passed the building, i noticed a tree that had fallen over in the dirt parking lot on the northern side of the building. The tree was tipping to the north, but the branches had fallen over the road ahead of me. I felt annoyed by this, and then i started to feel nervous, because i felt that i had something to do with this. I looked at the wide roots that had been pulled out of the ground. Several cars had been parked on the northern side of the lot, near the base of the tree, but the northern ends of the cars were now in the hole created when the roots had pulled up. I felt upset that i might have caused the problem, but then i felt that i really did not care as much. I walked to the north, stopping near the base of the tree. A long thick root stuck out to the west, just in front of me. I pushed it to the north, pushing the tree the rest of the way over so that the trunk was on the ground. It had been suspended by part of the roots. I then realized a young girl had been walking down the street from the north. She seemed annoyed that i had pushed the tree over farther, and she crossed the street to the western side so that she was not so close to the tree. She seemed annoyed with me, and she walked past me, heading to the south. I turned back to the south myself and moved to my bicycle, which was near the northern side of the building. I started looking through the things on the bicycle, but i could not find what i was looking for. After shuffling through a few things for a second, i realized that my backpack was not with my bicycle either. I thought that i might have left the backpack in the bathroom. I felt frustrated. I was not sure what i should do, and i started moving around the area. I was driving to the east, on a street which seemed like $P204. I had to find my things, and i felt that i had to get back to the restaurant so that i could check their bathroom. I felt worried that someone might take them if i did not retrieve them soon enough. As i drove, i tried to think of the name of the restaurant. I headed to the east through several intersections. I then started to feel uncomfortable, realizing that i did not have a lot of control driving the car. I seemed to be at $P73, but i knew that the restaurant was in $P30. I would have to drive a way to get there, even though the restaurant seemed very close to me. I knew that it was on the southern side of the street. I then saw the restaurant on the southern side of the road ahead of me, and i turned into the lot that was to the west of the building. I was driving a small tractor as i turned into the restaurant parking lot. I then wondered where i should park. I was actually inside the darkened room of the restaurant. I had entered the restaurant from a door in the western end of the southern wall, and i was headed to the north, along the western wall. I knew that i could not park the tractor in the middle of the room. I would have to leave it someplace that was out of the way. I circled a few times through the rounded tables that were in the center of the room, and then i turned around on the eastern side of the room. I felt confused. I looked out over the tables, which were covered with white tablecloths. I looked across the restaurant to the west, to the table where i had been sitting with $F42 and $F46, which was in the northwester part of the room. The table was now empty, and i felt a little upset about this. I wondered if they had left without me. I looked around, noticing that the tables in the room were mostly empty now. Everyone had left. Light from outside illuminated the restaurant from the large multipane windows that filled the northern wall of the room. The light seemed warm, as if from the evening sun. I felt a little disappointed, wondering if the restaurant was now closing and i had missed the meal. I then spotted $F46 on the southern side of the room, talking with another woman. They were chatting about something as they looked over a black metal railing. The railing separated the room form a set of stairs, which descended to the east along the southern wall. After a moment, $F46 and the woman headed to the top of the stairs, on the western side of the room, and started to descend the stairs. $F46 had a drink in her right hand, which she held near her chest. She sipped from the white straw in the drink as she started down the stairs. I thought that they must be moving to seats at the tables downstairs. I moved a little closer to the railing, seeing the red lights from the lower room of the restaurant. I then noticed a female waiter to the northeast of me, near the small lawn tractor, which i had parked near the eastern wall. She seemed concerned about it being in the restaurant, so i quickly told her that i would move it. I then asked her where i should put it, making it seem that i only put it there because i did not know where else to put it. I gathered several of my things, and then i asked the waiter where my table had gone. I looked out across the room again. Several waiters, who were all wearing white shirts and black pants, were clearing out the room. Fewer tables now seemed to be in the room. I then realized that they were doing something on the northern side of the room. I thought that this might be karaoke night in this restaurant. I was not sure what i should do, and i started to feel anxious. I gathered my things from the table near me, grabbing the small clear rubber ball. I then noticed the backpack leaning against the northern end of the northern wall. I looked at it, hopeful for a moment that i had found my things, but i realized that it was really not my backpack. I then looked up the short hill, which was the northern wall. Several people were sitting on the grassy slope. I felt lost as i turned back to the east, crossing the restaurant to get the rest of my things from the tractor.

12013 January 08

I walked through the darkened city. It was daylight, but the areas of the city seemed run down and dark. I was sometime in the future, and i knew that the people here were living after the disaster. Something had happened to the earth, and the people had started rebuilding civilization. The people here were not as smart as they had been, though. I still remembered everything. I headed to the north, through a crowded area of the city. The people were milling around in the square. I did not feel safe here. I knew that i was in danger. I then heard the south coming from the east. The monsters were coming. They had invaded this planet and helped destroy the original civilization. Someone in the crowd to the south of me talked about how the aliens would win. I knew that he was saying that because he was not able to think of any reasonable solution. I thought that the situation really had to do with the natural hierarchy of life. The aliens were simply a stronger and more evolved species. The humans had been held back and were not able to deal with the larger animals, so the larger animals would use the human as a food source. Humans were no longer at the top of the evolutionary hierarchy, so they could not stop from being treated in the same way humans had treated livestock. I did not want to be eaten, though, so i moved quickly to the west, across the square. I ran around the small objects that were on the western side of the square, trying to hide from sight of the approaching monsters. I was still making my way to the north, but i had to weave through the objects to stay out of sight. I then heard one of the monsters to the northeast or east of me. It was getting close. I though about life feeding on lower life. It seemed to be an important theme here. I thought that humans were not necessarily doomed. They would just be reduced in number because they could not longer control the planet. I turned to the east and started running though the tight alleys. I was actually a small animal, and i was trying to hide from the larger animal. I had been hiding out for a while in the old abandoned place. I wondered if i could get back to the place where i was. I then hoped that i did not lure the large animals to the place. Once they knew about it, they might hunt down the rest of the small animals there. I ran across the field, heading to the northeast. I passed the wreckage of several old cars. The rounded field was in the middle of a forest, with tall trees on all sides. A dirt driveway seemed to come into the field from the north. The land here was very uneven, dropping off suddenly on the north. One of the rusted cars was sitting on the edge of the hill, with its nose facing down. I had touched it as i passed, and the car started to roll toward the edge. I worried that the monsters might noticed the moved car. I backed away from the car and tried to stay to the north of the others so that i did not accidentally hit them as well. One of the other cars started rolling to the northeast, and i followed it as it rolled across the dirt road. It went over the side of the hill and down the grassy slope beyond, disappearing from sight. I moved to the edge of the hill. The car was stuck vertically in the bushes on the side of the road, its nose down in the bush. The tail end of the car was level with the road, so it would not be obviously seen by someone on the road. I thought that it was now a good hiding place because it was less obvious than before. I thought that small rats could make a home in the car and the dogs would not be able to get us. I seemed to be one of the small animals. A man then approached me from the west. He complained about the car, describing how it had rolled over the road and then over the side of the cliff. I looked down the steep slope, thinking that it was really not a cliff. It was just a steep hill. I thought again about the small life that could hide and live in the car. The invading creatures would not think to look it the rusting cars for life, so this life would be save from the invaders. It would survive to repopulate the planet. I imagined how the future would play out and how life would have to survive in hiding for a while.

I drove to the east, down the road on the southern side of the commercial area. The road had four lanes: two in each direction, and i was in the left lane of the westbound lanes. The university buildings were on the southern side of the road, and this road seemed a little like $P113. I had come from the east before, and i remembered turning on to the highway by turning onto a ramp to the south. I was looking for the highway exit on the southern side of the road now, but i did not recognize any of the roads that i was passing. I thought that it should be the next road to the right, but, as i approached the road, i could see that it curved into a row of tall bushes. I could not see where it was going, but a sign said that it was a ramp to I81 South. I wanted to head to the north on the highway, so i thought that i would have to turn at the next intersection. I watched the driveways as i passed, thinking that they led to university buildings. I was moving slower than the speed limit, and i became aware of the car behind me. I looked at the next intersection as i approached, but it was not the entrance to the highway. This road ran to the south, between two apartment buildings, which seemed to be part of a larger development. I felt annoyed because i was unable to find the road that i wanted. The bushes on the southern side of the road, which were about ten meters from the road, stopped, and the land to the south opened up into a large grass lawn. Beyond the wide field stood tall university buildings. I knew that the next few roads to the south would lead into the university. I wondered if the road to the highway was farther to the east, past the university. I felt frustrated because i could not remember where to go. I drove to the east, looking at the metallic-tan and light-gray buildings of the university. The sun seemed to be illuminating them from the northeast, even though i knew that it was late in the afternoon. The buildings looked rather modern. Balconies protruded from the eastern side of the building, where an outdoor corridor ran along the floors. I then thought that the road to the west of the university might have said “to 81”, and i wondered if i should have taken it. I thought that it must have lead to both sides of the highway, which seemed to be to the north of me now. I felt annoyed, and i turned the car around to head back to the west. I was on the corridor at the northern side of the building. This building seemed to be part of the university’s housing. It looked like a modern apartment. The building seemed to be made up of smaller buildings, which were joined on the sides. The northern face of the building was uneven, making it look like the smaller dark-brown buildings were not lined up when they were merged together. The surfaces of the buildings were covered with vertical planks of rough wood that had been darkly stained. The porch ran along the front of the building, turning around the corners of the building. I turned to the south, following the old porch along an indent of the building. A large square courtyard was in the center of the building, to the east of me. I wanted to head to the east, but i could see that the porch ran a way to the south before coming back north and heading east. I did not want to go all the way to the south, but i did not know where else i should go. I then looked at the porch to the south of me, noticing that it was sagging with age. I started to walk across it carefully, and i focused on the old wood. It seemed rotten, and i did not want to step through it. As i slowly walked over the wood, i became aware of a man in the lawn to the east, below me. The porch i was walking on seemed to be on the second floor of the building. I payed more attention to the boards, though, nervous that they might break. I watched the boards bend, but i felt a little too nervous about them and backed to the north. I grabbed on to the wooden handrail to the east of me, but it now seemed loose. I looked around at the rest of the porch, which was covered with chipping red paint. All of it seemed to be rotting and falling apart now. I was standing on a section of porch that had sagged below the section of balcony that ran across the northern side of the building. I grabbed on to the deck to the north of me and pulled myself up onto the porch. I tried pushing down on the edge of the boards in front of me, but realized that it was rather hard to lift myself up by pushing. I finally made it up onto the porch, but, as i stepped onto the deck, i dropped the pencil that i had been carrying in my right hand. The pencil fell back to the south, rolling down the deck and falling between the crack between the deck and the house. It came to a rest on the eastern wall of the garage below. I reached back for it, but could not quite reach it. I was then aware of the man to the east watching me. I then noticed the large black spider on the eastern wall of the building, very close to me. I felt nervous. The pencil had fallen into the web of the spider, which was just above the door of the garage. The spiders were large, so i did not want to reach into the web to get the pencil. I looked at the other pencil that i had dropped on the deck to the south of me, but i noticed that spiders were all over it as well. I commented on this to the man as i got a pencil from the wooden railing near me. It was not one of the pencils that i had with me, but i thought that i could take it with me anyway. I then wondered whether the man would think that i was stealing the pencil. I stepped back up to the porch, nervous that the man would come after me because i had taken the green pencil from the railing. I quickly grabbed the large green mannequin that was on the porch and started running to the north. I knew that the man would come after me. I pushed open the screen door. The man would think that i was stealing these things. I was aware that he was getting his car to the east of the house. He would drive after me, so i had to get away before he could catch up to me. I ran to the west, across the grass lawn. The driveway ran in a square around a large garden area, with curved paths across it. I could run across the grass and the man would have to drive around. I thought that i could stay ahead of the man by crossing the grass. I then remembered that i was in a building complex, and i wondered if i would get trapped by a wall to the west. I felt worried and wondered how i could get away. I ran across another yard, thinking that the man would have to go to the south to stay on the road. I paused on the western side of the yard, near the road. I was not going to stay ahead of the man for long, so i had to figure out another way to go. I realized that i could head south and cut through the back of the apartment complex. I saw a road on the southern side of the garden area that i had reached the western side of. I considered going to the south and heading through the apartment complex, running across the yards between the yellow apartment buildings. I ran between the buildings, thinking that i would need a fence on the southern side of the apartment complex. If a fence was there, i could jump over the fence to get out of the complex, but the man would not be able to go over it in his car, so he would not be able to follow me any more.

I walked to the west, down the narrow alley in the old city. The alley also seemed like a corridor in the center of a large house. I had opened the door to the house, which was to the east, and someone had come in. I felt out of place here and tried to focus on where i was. It seemed as though i had fallen asleep and woken up in this place. The buildings on either side of the alley seemed dingy, and i looked at the old stores to the south. The other person, who i had been walking with continued ahead of me, to the west. $F12 seemed to be with me. I had spoken to him about what had happened. I felt confused now, though. Something did not seem right about this place. I came to the end of the alley, finding myself in a small room. Others were sitting here, but i felt suddenly very uncomfortable. I turned back to the east and started heading down the corridor. I did not want to be with these people anymore. I felt that i was visiting this small crowded city. I ran down the street and turned to the north, heading into the house where i had been before. This was where $F12 was staying. I headed to the north, across the L-shaped room and then turned to the east. $F12 was lying down with several other men on the eastern side of the room. They were studying. $F12 was lying on a bed, facing west, with his roommates on either side of him. Another man was seating at a desk near the northern wall, and another to the south. They seemed crowded together. I noticed that $F12 had a short beard. He had not had this before. I worried that i had skipped more time. He seemed surprised to see me, but he also seemed a little annoyed. I knew that he was annoyed because i had disappeared for a time. They had been looking for me. I had missed several days, but i told them that i had just been with them a few minutes ago. I felt upset and turned away from them. Someone had been doing something to me that made be skip over large periods of time. I wandered back to the east. I then noticed someone outside the door to the apartment, to the west. One of the men from the apartment moved quickly to the door. I caught a glimpse of a man in a black suit outside, and i knew that he had come for me. The others in the apartment knew it as well, and they were trying to protect me. I moved to the south, but noticed that the southern wall of the house had a large window around the door. The people outside would be able to see me through it. I quickly moved to the east a little, getting out of view of the window. I could hear the others talking. The men knew that i was here. I looked to the south again. I was still standing in view of the large windows. I could see a few oriental men in white shirts and dark suits talking to people outside the house. They knew that i was here and would be coming for me. I quickly turned to the north and headed back for the others. They were already running out of the room to the west. They knew that the men would come in. I rounded the corner in the center of the L-shaped room and headed to the east, up the stairs that ascended along the southern wall of the northern side of the room. $F12 and the others had been in a small area to the east, and i hoped that they made it out of the area safely. I was aware of someone following me up the white stone steps, so i continued to the landing on the eastern side. I looked over the railing of the landing, to the east. I could see the large rounded stage and auditorium where the others had been. They were all off the stage now. The stage was decorated with red curtains and carpeting. I turned to the west and hurried back down the stairs, passing the man, who had just reached the railing.

I walked across the small room with $F45. We were in Moscow, and we had been on a trip. I thought about the airplane that we would have to take the next morning. It seemed that we would be leaving this place very soon, and i thought that we should go to bed soon. I bent over to pick up the rectangular mental tray that had been on the floor. It looked like an old television tray without a stand. I played with something on the tray with my left fingers. I then focused on the tray to see what i was playing with. The tray was white with gold designs across it. Thin metal bars had been attached to the tray, forming a starburst pattern from the center of the tray. I was playing with one of the silver bars, which seemed loose. It rattled as i hit it. I was not sure why the tray was here, so i tossed it to the southwest as i crouched down and sat to the west of the bed, which was against the eastern wall. $F45 sat just to the northwest of me, leaning back into me. I talked to him about the train that we would have to get tomorrow. It seemed that we had been on vacation for a week, and we had visited Moscow for the last day. This place seemed nice, but it also seemed uncomfortable. I liked Saint Petersburg better, and i sayed this to $F45.

I was in the small room, standing on the western side of the room. The others were getting ready to head to the athletic event, which seemed to be a running race. I felt that i had to get ready to go on the run with the others, who seemed like they were from $G3. I walked to the east, on the northern side of the field area. $A532 was with me. I looked at the people on the field to the south. I thought that the people were starting a wrestling match, but i realized that they were really setting up a baseball game. This seemed very strange. I told $A532 that the runners we were looking for were on the southern end of the field, not in the main part of the field. We moved to the east to walk around the field, walking into a crowd. I thought about the bucket drum as we walked. The drum was made of a white plastic bucket, and i knew that it had a dead baby inside. It was all part of the plot of the show. I thought that the people would pull the dead baby out of the bucket during the performance. It would be disgusting, but it would become a big hit on television. I described the plot of the show to $A532. I said that the man would come into the room to confront the other man. I described this as i walked to the north, through the crowd in the conference area. The man who came in will play the bucket drum to get close to the second man. He will then dump the aborted baby on the man, saying that it was his sister’s baby with the second man. It would be a dramatic scene, but it would make a statement. I thought that it would be gross, but it would play well on television and would “raise the bar” on this kind of performance.

We were driving in the truck, heading to the northeast through the area, which seemed like somewhere at $P52. I recognized these roads. They seemed to be the back roads that led along the southern side of the gorge. $F43 was driving the car, and she did not seem to be sure where we were. I assured her that we were heading in the correct direction. The road curved back and forth, but we were heading generally to the west. The land around us was forested, but the leafs were dry and most of them had fallen from the trees. It seemed partly cloudy, with a bright sun. A hill sloped up to the north of us, but the gorge still seemed to be to our north somewhere. I then realized that we were on the lower road coming from $P29. We would have to turn onto the main road to get across the bridge to the north. We then turned sharply to the left, onto a small side road that sloped up steeply. This was an access road to the main road, which ran north to south. We followed the narrow road around a sharp curve to the left, stopping at the top facing to the northeast. We turned to the left and started heading north. I thought that we would have to turn to the left again to stay on the main road. $F43 continued in a straight line, though, heading to the north-northeast. We crossed the bridge that was just to the north of the intersection, passing under the hanging traffic lights. The road ahead turned into a divided highway, and i thought that it would be hard for us to turn around and get on the correct road. I looked ahead at the sepia-toned road, which seemed red from the sunlight. The road ran along the western base of the rounded hill as it headed northeast. I still thought that we should have turned to the left and headed to the north, across the bridge to $P73. I told $F43 that we should have turned, but she continued driving to the northeast. The dark-brown hill to the east seemed fuzzy from dry plant growth. I then realized that lights behind us were flashing. I thought that the police might be somewhere behind us, but i could not quite see them. Something seemed wrong, though. I started to worry that something had happened behind us and that we had just missed it. I thought that people were shooting somewhere near the intersection. I was then aware that we were driving a large silver tanker truck. I was sitting in the passenger’s seat, looking in the large mirror out my window. I could see the road behind us, but i could not see anyone following us. I hoped that we could get far enough away before the bag guys started shooting again. I then saw the back of the truck, seeing the rounded tank from behind. I saw the bullets hit the lower left side of the rear of the tank. They left dents in the shiny metal. I was still looking in the mirror when i saw this. Someone was shooting at us, and i felt upset about it. I worried that they might actually puncture the tank and cause the gas inside to explode. We continued up the highway, turning now to the north. The highway was now a narrow road, and it ran along the slope of the hills. The land sloped down steeply to the west, and it was spotted with conifers. This was the old road to the north. I had wanted to take the modern highway to the north, which was to the west of us somewhere. This road was not as fast, but i thought that we could still move fairly quickly along the road. I looked to the west. The redness of the sky was reflected in the water of the river, which was flowing along the bottom of the hill. We would still have to cross the river, but we would now have to wait until we were all the way up north. The water was alight with reflected light, highlighting the tall rounded rocks that stuck up from the center of the water. The view was beautiful. I noticed a large island in the center of the river. The inland formed a plateau with steep rocky cliffs on all sides. I looked along the cliffs on the northern side of the plateau, thinking that the silhouette of the rocks looked like a face. The view was very picturesque. I decided that i would have to come back with my camera to take pictures of this area. I then turned my attention back to the north. We were heading up the narrow corridor now. The brown wooden wall ran to the east of us. We were now in the place to the north that we had been heading to. I was surprised that he had gotten here so fast, and i wondered how we had done it. We seemed to have traveled much faster on the old road that we would have on the highway. We were now up in the area where the lake was. I walked to the north, following the wooden dock along the western edge of the cottages. The cottages formed a single long brown wall to the east of me, with small windows and doors here and there. A wooden railing ran along the western side of the dock, holding up the ceiling and forming a corridor that was open to the west. The water of the lake was just to the west of me, and the water seemed very calm and reflective. I followed the dock around the northeastern side of the large rounded bay. The dock was slowly turning to the west. This place seemed very familiar, and i felt good here. I spoke to the other person with me as we walked.

$A510 was to the north of me, and he was wrestling with $K32. It seemed strange to see them fooling around. $A510 then trapped $K32 in a leg lock, bending his knee around $K32’s neck in a chokehold. I wondered why they were wrestling like this. I then realized that $K32 was not strong enough to fight back. He was starting to pass out from the choke. I felt very concerned, and i told $A510 to stop. I started to feel that something was very wrong, so i moved toward them and pushed $A510 off of $K32. $K32 rolled onto the floor unconscious. I realized that he had stopped breathing, and i felt suddenly very worried. I pushed on his stomach to move the air in his lungs. I was suddenly upset and wanted him to be all right. I wrapped my arms around his torso and hugged him as he started breathing again. I felt very close to him and wanted to comfort him.

I looked at the chair that was to the north of me. It was one of many seats in this part of the vehicle. I was in a room, which seemed to be on an airplane or spaceship. The chair had some kind of restraint, which folded down over the seat of the chair to lock people in. I knew that it was some kind of suspended-animation chamber. Something was wrong with the ship. I knew that there was nothing serious, but the crew was asking people to get into their chambers. I looked at the red plastic arm of the chair. The chair seemed to have three sections, and i watched as the western section of the chair closed. No one was sitting in the wide chair, but i watched the lid close over the western section. As it sealed, i heard a hissing sound, and i though that the air inside the chair must be chilling the chair for suspended animation. I backed away from the chair, thinking that the people would be trying to get to their seats. I wondered if there were enough seats for the passengers. I felt suddenly possessive of my chair, thinking that i should stay here so that the people who now gathering to the west did not try to take it. I looked to the west. A queue of people was standing in the center of the room, forming a line that was heading to the north. They were waiting to get into their seats. I felt that i should defend my seat, but then realized that i did not actually need a seat. I knew what was happening to the ship, and i was not part of the general populace of this ship. I decided that i would let them take the chair. I headed out into the hallway to the south of the room and then started walking to the west. I thought about the ship that we were in. The people were worried that something was wrong with the ship, but i knew that there was nothing actually wrong with it. I felt that i had some special knowledge of the ship that the rest of the passengers did not have.

I was in the small room with several other people, who had also gathered for the alumni event. I seemed to be at $P7. I was standing in the doorway that was in the western end of the northern wall of the room. Students were seated on the eastern side of the room, facing to the west. All of the students seemed to be high-school age, but i knew that they were all alumni of this place. They were sitting in a circle, but only a few people were on the western side of the room, to the south of me. A man was standing in the middle of the circle, talking about $P7. I looked at a few of the students on the eastern side of the room, noticing that they were wearing white shirts with red and blue striped ties and navy-blue jackets. The man who was standing to the south of me, talked to the others about the alumni event. He was reminding them of the things that happened when they were in school here. Some of the people in the room seemed familiar to me. The man then mentioned uniforms, and he asked who was here during the school’s transition from wearing uniforms to wearing dress jackets. He then motioned to a man on the western side of the circle. The man had short wavy blond hair, and i knew him from school. He seemed to be in my class. The standing man pointed out the blond man, saying that he was here when the uniforms were changed. I knew that this was not true. The blond man was in my graduation class, so he was at the school before the uniforms changed. The blond person disagreed with the other man. I moved a little to the southwest, across the classroom. I felt a little anxious here and started to move around. Some of the others were leaving. They would have to head to the northeast for the rest of the alumni events. I felt a little confused as i wandered to the south. People were coming into the large building through the glass doors, which were to the south of me. My mother seemed to walk past me as she entered the building. I felt dazed, and i wandered out of the building. I seemed to be distracted by something i had to do. I then noticed one of the people walking past me. He seemed to be $F7. He passed me on the east, and i turned to the northeast to look at him. I was going to call his name, but he looked back at me. I said hello, and he nodded in acknowledgement. He did not seem interested in talking to me, and he continued walking to the north. I felt a little disappointed, thinking that we were no longer that close. People were approaching the building from the large dirt parking lot to the southwest of me. I then realized that i had parked my car to the south, in the center of the lot, just to the east of the small building that was to the south of me. The building seemed like an old wooden gray house. I remembered that i had parked in one of the spots on the southern end of the eastern side. The others seemed to be parking in the spots to the west, though, and i wondered whether i was supposed to park there as well. I hoped that the space that i had parked in was not reserved. I noticed a pudgy man with dark hair in black shorts and a red T-shirt to the south of me. He seemed to be directing people to their parking spots. I decided that i should go check on my car. As i walked along the building, i noticed several parking spots near garage doors. The building looked modern now, and it seemed to be a set of small houses that were all merged into one building. The short cement driveways with small garage doors at the ends of them seemed to delineate the houses. They were on the southern ends of the individual houses. No cars were parked in the first two driveways. I noticed large tan plaque on the southern wall. The southern wall was part of the front of the house, which extended a little way from the recessed garage. The wall slanted slightly to the northeast. The surface of the wall seemed rough, but the plaque was smooth. It had large fancy letters that said that the spots were reserved for the volunteer firefighters. I wondered if the last spot was like that. I did not remember seeing such a large plaque where i had parked. I walked past the man in the red T-shirt. I spotted my red car in the last spot. It was still there, and no tickets seemed to be on it, which relieved me. As i reached the rear of my car, i could see a plaque on the wall near my car. I would have to move my car. The small red car was a Volkswagen, and it seemed to be a Rabbit or a Beetle. I glanced to the east, spotting a large red fire truck driving to the north. It must be heading to the station. I hoped that i was not in its way. I drove my car to the west, around the front of the building. When i reached the western side of the building, i turned to the north, looking for the large parking lot where everyone else had parked. I knew that it would not be as convenient because the ground there was dirt. I had parked in the lot in front of the field house, where the lot was paved. I had come early enough that most spots were open. I would now have to park on the dirt ground to the west. I thought that the ground there was muddy. As i turned to the north, i started driving over a muddy area. I did not want to park here, and i hoped that the lawn to the north of the small building was better. I came to the north of the house and turned to the east. Stacks of lumber were in the middle of the yard that was between the field house and the small gray building that i had driven around. I drove down a narrow space between the lumber and the gray building, on the southern side of the yard. I hoped that my car did not get stuck here. I then realized that i was driving over several boards. As i reached the eastern end of the yard, i heard a crack, and i realized that one of the boards had gotten stuck under my car. The board had slided to the east until the end got caught at the end of the lot. The board was then forced to bend, but it broken under my car. I hoped that it did not damage anything important. I got out of my car, trying to figure out what was wrong. I was aware of the parking attendant to the south of me again. I then got back into the car to move it again, but i was having difficulty fitting my feet between the seat and the steering wheel. The car seemed to be so small that i could not fit in it. I pulled my feet out, trying to reposition them so that i could fit into the tiny rounded car. I complained about the size of the car to my mother, who was somewhere to the north of me. She was surprised that i had such a problem fitting into the car. The car was facing to the west now, and the entire red domed roof seemed to come off so that i could get into the car. I sat in the black seat, but could not fit my feet into the front of the car, where the pedals were. The pedals seemed to be just inside the white frame at the front of the car. I tried to start the car, but it would not start. I started to feel annoyed, and i was not sure what to do. I finally told my mother that the car would not start. A man, who was to the north of my mother, heard the comment and came to look at the car. I turned to the car, which was to the southeast of me now. I pulled out the small silver fuel tank from the center of the car. It was sitting in the center of the car, embedded in a foamy black material, which seemed to have been under the seats. The metal scoop that i picked up was filled with a red sauce that looked like chili. I pointed this out to the man in the white T-shirt, who had come to help me. He was the cook for the event to the north, so he might know something about fueling the car with chili. I looked to the east at the large plastic container of chili. It seemed strange that i was using it as fuel for the car. The man leaned to the south to get a better look at the car. I dumped the contents of the metal scoop into the recess in the center of the car, out of which i had taken the scoop. I thought that the recess would be the fuel tank, so the chili should fill the recess and get pulled into the fuel line that was on the western end of the recess. Maybe the problem was in the metal container that i had removed. I thought that this might help the car start.

I turned to the north in the small room. The others were cleaning things to the northwest and north of me, along the black counters of the room. I unwrapped the small brown paper package that i was holding in my hand. It contained a snake skull. I was trying to be careful of the snake skull as i moved it in my hands, but i felt a prick on the index finger of my right hand. The fangs of the skull had pricked me, and i suddenly worried that the venom had gotten into my finger. I tried not to worry, but i realized that i actually did feel sleepy. I told myself that it was not because of the venom, but then i realized that i had no feeling in the finger. I thought that there should be a needle in the bag with an antivenin. I was still unsure whether i had been envenomed, and i wondered what i should do. I thought that i should probably ask $A14 what to do. He was familiar with snakes and venoms, so he should know whether i was in any danger from the skull’s fang. I wanted to know whether i should really be worried or not.

I sat at the desk and looked at the small screen to the south of me. I was watching a television show on the television. Something was interesting about the show, but i knew that i should not be watching it. I felt nervous. $A14 then came into the office from the east. I quickly moved things on the computer, turning the monitor off so that he would not think that i had been watching television when i was supposed to have been working. I said hello as i arranged the things on my desk. $A14 moved to the west, talking to the other person. I continued to arrange things on the desk, still feeling nervous. My mother then came into the room from the east, walking to the desk and looking around the surface at what i had been doing. I started the computer, pretending to have just arrived at work. I had to get things ready. I still had my jacket with me, and i looked around for a minute, trying to figure out what to do with it. I finally put it on the chair to the north. The office seemed much larger now. It was no longer a small white room, but a large open space. I was on the northern end of the room, which now seemed more like a cafe. The small square tables filled the center of the room in no particular pattern. Others were gathered around some of the tables to the south of me. I arranged some of the things on the table to the south of me, and then turned my attention to the east. I focused on the east, no longer seeing the room around me. A large movie screen was on the eastern wall, and i was watching the movie that was on it. $F4 was sitting to the north of me in the chair. Several chairs now seemed to be in rows, all facing east toward the screen. I held $F4’s hand as we watched the movie. I felt somewhat sad, but it was very comforting to hold his hand. I then remembered when we had copulated a long time ago. It seemed like it was many years ago. We had grown apart since then, but we were still friends. I then thought about the copulation, thinking that it did not make sense. It seemed very strange that i would have copulated with $F4. I thought about this as i turned my attention back to the movie, which was either to the south of east of us. I was facing either south or east in the chair, but the movie still seemed to be on the eastern wall. I then turned my attention back to the movie, which was on the eastern wall. The screen had been showing a commercial while i was paying attention to $F4, but it was now showing a television show again. I realized that the show had changed since i had last seen it. The others in the audience now seemed to be watching Doctor Who. I watched the screen, thinking that it was very strange that the movie had changed so suddenly. I watched the man move from the left side of the screen to the right. He must be the new doctor. I did not recognize him because i had not yet seen the season with the new doctor. The scene changed, and i thought that i had seen David Tennent, who had played the older doctor. He was standing with the new man, who i thought was the newest doctor. The man must be the new one, but i could not be sure. People around me then started to complain about what was on the screen. The show must have switched unexpectedly. The people wanted to go back to the show that they had been watching. I wondered if someone must have changed the channel to see the Doctor Who show. I thought that they should probably switch back to the regular show, which must be back on. The commercials should be over by now. A person in the middle of the front row, to the northeast of me, stood up suddenly, asking where the remote was. I started to move around, feeling disinterested in the show. I talked to the others about it as i started walking to the north, following the man whom i had been sitting with. We were going to head into the other area of the building. This seemed like a Doctor Who episode. We were heading to college, and i said that we always headed into the music department when we go to the building. I told the others that the Doctor was a famous staff member here. We continued walking to the east, and it seemed now that we were following the Doctor. He turned to us once and a while to say something. After a moment, several men, who had been standing in a doorway on the southern side of the hall, turned to greet us. I remembered them saying goodbye to us before. They brought us into the room and started setting up wooden classroom chairs for us to sit in. I remembered that they did not pay much attention to us the last time, but now they seemed to be treating us as special guests. It seemed like a big deal for them to be setting up the chairs for us to sit in. We walked toward the eastern side of the room as the three or four chairs were set up in a row near the eastern wall, facing west. A large chalkboard filled the eastern wall. A tall thin dark-skinned man in African clothes walked from the southeast, smiling as he extended his hand to greet us. He seemed important. I moved toward the man and hugged him hello. I then wondered if it was out of place for me to hug him, since he had been very formal in his greetings. As i backed away from him, he seemed uncomfortable. We then moved to the chair on the southern end of the row, near the southern wall. I noticed a young boy to the west of me standing just inside a doorway in the southern wall. Bright sunlight shined in through the doorway from the outside sun. The boy was skinny and i knew that he was hungry. He could not eat the food that was on his plate because it was not good. I felt sorry for him. I took some of the food from the plate of the man to the east of me. I knew that this might not be socially acceptable in this circumstance, but i did not care. The ceremonial greetings seemed awkward here. I gave the boy some of the food. He took a muffin from me and started eating it. I then told him that the fruit that i had given him was okra. I thought that he would not know what that was because it was not a fruit from this area. The boy nodded, and i realized that he understood what okra was.

We came out of the misty forest and into the northern side of the clearing. We had been hiking down from the tall forested mountain to the north of us, and we now seemed to be in a camp ground with several old brown buildings. I was standing to the west of one of the buildings, watching myself and the others approach from the north. I watched us walk toward the cabin. I could tell that i was a little annoyed, though. I felt tired from the hike, but i knew that we would have to go back up to the mountain to get something. $F4 had left something up on the mountain. I was then standing to the south of the other two people as they talked about returning. I felt that we did not have enough time to go all the way back up the mountain before the sun set. I looked at the green mountain, noticing the hazy clouds obscuring some of the trees. Gray rocky cliffs rose near the peak of the tall pointed mountain. It would take quite a while to hike back up to the top. I then thought that we should just fly. It would be so much easier than walking. I moved around the barn area to the east as $F4 gathered some things. I kept looking back at the hill as the others prepared things to head back. Only a few of us would be going. I finally felt frustrated, and i asked $F4 if he wanted to fly to the top of the mountain rather than walk. He seemed unsure, but i told him that i could do it easily. I finally convinced him, and i turned to face the mountain. I told him to climb on to my back. He wrapped his arms over my shoulders and i lifted his feet from the ground. I started to float up, feeling nervous about getting too high off the ground. I started to move to the north, but realized that i would have to get higher to get above the trees. I focused on floating and rose up higher, trying to follow the slope of the mountain. I could tell that $F4 was feeling uneasy. He started to squirm, so i held his arms over my shoulders so that he did not slip off. I focused on the metal tower that was on the rocky pinnacle of the hill. I would have to head for it through the low-handing clouds. I was moving over the ground quickly now, and i knew that i would have to stay above the trees. I hoped that i was high enough to avoid them. I focused on the radio tower. It looked like an old-fashioned radio tower, with a wide base and a tall girder structure. As i kept watching it, it suddenly seemed like a drawing. The tower was roughly sketched in black charcoal on white paper. This seemed strange to me. I tried to focus on the bottom of the tower, where a square platform circled a small building, which seemed to be part of the base of the tower. We had to land on the platform. I noticed that the gray lines of the drawing were crude, though, as if quickly sketched. The building was wider than it was tall, and the tower rose out of the top of it. We landed on the wooden deck, just to the south of the small building. The building was some kind of visitor center. It was getting dark, and i looked around cautiously to the east. I knew that the museum to the north of us was closed at the moment, and i wondered if any alarms were set. I walked to the north, into the museum. I paused inside the clean showroom inside. I asked the other two who were with me whether the building had any alarms. $F3 headed to the east across the room as the other stood by the door that we had entered, which was in the western end of the southern wall. I moved to the center of the room, feeling nervous about being here after the museum was closed. I looked at the old radio equipment that filled the shelf on the northern end of the eastern wall. The red buttons were illuminated, so the equipment was still turned on. It had something to do with the broadcasts from the tower. Windows filled the northern and southern walls. I moved to the north. I then heard the announcement from a speaker. I looked out the window to the northeast to see an old gray square-horn broadcast speaker handing from a corner of the building. The voice said that something must be checked. I thought that we must have set off the alarm and they were coming to check on this building. $F4 had moved to the other part of the building to the north to check for something. The other person and i also started moving to the northeast. I came out of the building to the north. The deck on this side of the building ran only a short distance to the east before turning to the north to follow the contour of a second building. It then turned back to the east and followed the northern side of the second building. It was dark now, and the night was foggy. A light illuminated us from somewhere on the tower above. I looked around the corner at the deck on the northern side of the eastern building to see a set of stairs rising from somewhere below. They rose to the east. A woman was walking up the stairs. She wore a faded red jacket, and i hoped that she was not an official. I backed to the west a little and turned to the south. Other people were now moving around on the decks of the visitor center. I looked around, realizing that these people had come here for a festival. Many people were around us now, moving in and out of the white room at the center of the museum. The other man and i headed to the east to look for $F4. We came into a large room in the next building, where we found him. I felt a little more relaxed here, though i was worried that $F4 had been questioned. I thought that we had been asked how we had gotten to this place. We would have lied to the people here so that they did not know that we flew here. I continued across the open area at the top of the hill. Many people were standing around in small groups. This seemed like a cocktail party. I looked down the slope of the steep hill to the west of us. The slope was the hill that we were on, and the hill seemed to run as a long ridge to the west so that the slope was facing south. The slope had several houses across it. I then saw $F10 standing in the crowd to the northeast of me. He was talking to a few other people. He must have come to this festival, not knowing that we were here. I moved to the east to hug him hello. I felt very happy to see him. It seemed like a long time since we had seen each other. I then thought that i could introduce him to the others, but they had wandered to the west and were now wandering to the north, into the crowd. $F10 seemed a little uneasy to see me, and he commented on $F12. I thought that he might be uncomfortable with us here. It was good to see him, but he wandered back with his friends to the northeast, ignoring me. It seemed that he could not act like he knew me well in this crowd. This upset me, and i wondered what i should do now.

I headed to the west, through the halls of $P7. I had to do something here. I reached the stairs at the end of the hallway and headed up to the second floor. The stairs rose to the east, where they met a landing. They then turned back to the east on the northern and southern sides of the landing. As i turned to the east to ascended the upper flight of stairs, i noticed $A46 kneeling by a small table on the upper landing. He was to the south of the small wooden table. This seemed out of place, and he did not seem to be moving. I then thought that this was really an alternate view of the universe. He was much younger than he should have been, but that was because i was not seeing the teacher in my universe. I looked down the hallway to the east. $A46’s classroom should be the first door on the right, just down the hall. I knew that this was where his classroom was, but i also knew that his classroom was really on the third floor of the building. I headed down the hall to the east. I thought that i was flipping through the alternate possibilities. No one was actually in the building where i was, but i could see people from other universes. I felt tense, and i called out to anyone in the building. No one answered me, and i started to feel alone. I looked at the southern wall of the hall, noticing that it was cracked and worn. This building needed repairs. I opened a door on the southern side of the hallway. The heavy wooden door had a tinted glass window in the upper half. I entered a classroom. The chairs in the room were empty. I expected students to be in the room, but they were not. I then looked to the west, noticing a teacher sitting behind a large wooden desk with papers covering the top of it. He looked at me curiously. He did not understand why i was in this place. I backed out of the room, thinking that this was actually a good plot to a story. I headed to the east, down the hall. No one was around, but i knew that the classrooms were here and should be filled with students. I headed back to the west, calling out for anyone to respond. I still felt uneasy here. I wondered how this parallel universe worked.

I was in the small house with the others. The house seemed like my grandmother’s house. It was in a small neighborhood to the west of a city. Something seemed to be happening outside of the house, and i moved to the north to see. I looked out the small window in the door. The grassy lawn behind the house sloped down to the north. At the bottom of the long hill i could see the line of houses on the other side of the block. A crowd of students was moving southward between the houses and crowding into the back lawns of the house. They were starting up the hill. I felt annoyed by them and nervous of them. They were here to cause trouble. I started to feel angry that they had come here, and i headed to the south to head outside. I worried that they would come into the house and destroy things. As i walked around to the northern side of the house, i saw that the students were no longer heading toward me. They were now slowly retreating back to the north. They seemed disgruntled, and i thought that the neighbors must be standing firm on their porches, telling the students to go away. I should probably stand on the back porch and let them know that we did not want them here. I still worried that they would do in this area. I walked up onto the back porch of the house, looking down the long hill to the west, which crossed the neighbors’ back yard and ended on the side street. A small group of students were walking down the street to the north, heading back to where they had all come from. They wore sweatshirts and denims. A man in orange sweat pants saw me looking at him, and he yelled “Fuck you!” at me as i started into the house. I felt more annoyed with him now, and i stuck up the middle finger of my right hand at him as i started walking back into the house. I pretended not to care about him, but i worried that he might retaliate. I worried that he might come after me, but i knew that i would be in the house soon and could easily close the door. I turned to the east and stated down the corridor. The others were standing around in the corridor as if waiting for something. I wondered if the student would come into the house and come after me. I felt that i had to get farther into the house so that he could not find me. I then thought that i had to be somewhere. I had to get back to what i had been doing before i got distracted.

I walked to the front door of my house, which was on the northern side of the house. Something was happening outside, and i wanted to see what was going on. I stopped just to the north of the building. A police car was stopped in my front yard, to the northwest of the door. I felt uneasy about the car. I then noticed that a second car was also in the yard on the northern end of the western edge of the yard. The police must have stopped the second car. The car had pulled off onto the side of the road, which was on my lawn. I turned to the south and grabbed my jacket from inside the house. I then stepped outside again. The two cars were sitting on the edges of the lawn, and nothing seemed to be happening. A policeman was standing near the car to the north of me, so i asked him what had happened. Another office was near the police car, and both of them explained what was happening in the yard. They motioned to the other car, saying that the woman had slided off the road. They seemed to think that she had been driving dangerously and that there was something suspicious of her. I felt uneasy about the woman, thinking that she had drived off of the road here for a reason. It was no accident. I felt uneasy now, so i turned and headed back into the house. The woman was talking to the police now, and they came into the house with me. I felt uneasy with them here; i did not trust the woman. I started heading to the west as they talked. I felt that i had to do something just in case the woman was plotting something. I was outside again, and it was now darker than it was before. I was trying to jog to the west. I thought that i had quite a long way to go, and i felt a little frustrated. I was moving too slowly now, and i felt that it would take too long for me to get to where i wanted to be. I tried to move a little faster, but i could not seem to speed up. I looked down at my feet as i jogged across the soggy lawn to the west of the house. They were moving, but i could not seem to get them to move faster. Frustrated, i looked up at the lawn again. A line of trees ran along the north of me, and a paved path ran to the west. I seemed to be running on the path. The ground to the south of me was sandy, and i wondered whether i would be able to run faster on the sand. I would have to take off my shoes to run in the sand. This suddenly seemed like a good idea. I thought that it could have been the solution. I then thought that the others might have intended for me to do this all along. I was suddenly aware of the others watching me from the northwest. I shifted to the south a little, jogging in the sand. It felt a lot better under my feet. I swerved around a small tree in the middle of the sandy area. I then realized that a row of trashcans was in front of me, and i would have to swerve again. I started to feel frustrated. I was able to jog better in the sand, but i was having trouble jogging in a straight line. Too many obstacles seemed to be in the sand. I kept moving around them, thinking that i should be able to find a straight jogging path somewhere in the sand.

We walked through the narrow corridor of the old building, heading to the east. My parents were with me as we followed the hallway. The corridor ended in a wider corridor, which ran north and south. I told my parents that we should head to the south. We seemed to be headed someplace specific. I turned to the north and started walking around the square area, which was in the center of the corridor. The square area was a walled in room, and it seemed very familiar. I knew that we would have to circle around it if we wanted to head to the south. Many people walked past us. This corridor seemed to be in a busy area of the city, which seemed like New York City. I followed the corridor to the east, along the northern side of the area. The corridor was narrow again as we walked. I suddenly wondered if cameras were watching us here. The people watching would see us going around in the circle, following the corridors around the central area to get to where we were going. I knew that this was normal. The corridors did not obviously run in the expected directions. To head to the south, where we wanted to go, we would have to follow the corridor around the northern side of the area and then head south to the east of the area. I thought about the area around me. This was a very popular square corridor, and i thought that it was somewhat famous in the city. I descended the stairs, which ran to the east along the northern side of the area. At the bottom of the stairs, i turned to the south in the main corridor. Many more people were walking north and south in this corridor. I followed the corridor to the south until i came to the end, which seemed to be just to the south of the square area. I realized that the large door at the end of the corridor leaded into the room. I remembered this from when i was here before. This did not seem like the correct place to go. I stopped for a moment, turning to my parents and telling them that we should head down the other set of stairs, which seemed to run west on the southern side of the square area. I turned to the north, looking across the large room, which seemed to be a store. A set of stairs descended from the northern side of the store as well, so i walked into the store, leading my parents through the aisles. The store seemed like a popular department store. As headed down the main aisle of the store, i noticed a small display of toys on the western side of the aisle. I recognized the dolls that were on the low table. They were characters from Sesame Street. Several other items from the television show were on the table. I felt amused by them, and i stopped for a little while to look at them. My mother came up behind me, smiling at the things on the table. I motioned to some of them and then we continued on. We started down the stairs, heading to the west.

12013 January 21

I headed to the north, through the streets of the old city. The land of seemed to rise to the north into low hills, on the northern side of the city. I headed down the wide street of the city, coming to the east-to-west boulevard, which seemed to run along a narrow river. Something was special about the old buildings on the northern side of the river. I looked over the river at them. They seemed to be row houses as someone talked to me about them. The buildings looked like brownstone apartments. As i continued down the street, crossing the bridge over the river, i focused on the dull-red building that was just to the east of the northern end of the bridge. I watched it over the water as i crossed the bridge. I felt excited and uneasy thinking about it. It was something special, and i wondered if it had anything to do with the City. I said something about it to the other person with me. The computer voice answered. As i reached the end of the bridge and moved to the street in front of the building, the computerized voice described the building i was seeing. I felt nervous being so close to the building, but i wanted to talk about it. I said something in a strange language. The words sounded foreign to me, but i thought that i was using them incorrectly. I asked the computer to tell me about the building at 114 North Street. I then thought that the address might actually be 113. I stared up at the large building, which i realized was actually a large computer. It had a tall black screen on the front of it. I asked about the building again, and the computer voice said something about a bank. I moved toward the building and pulled a piece of paper from the bottom of the screen. It had a full transcript of the conversation on it, and i felt uncomfortable about it. As i looked at the paper, though, i noticed that it was now full of dimes. This seemed like a good thing. I told myself that the money was a good thing. The voice then said that the building had countries in it. I thought about this, thinking that it was not quite correct. I told the computer that they were not countries but corporations. I then corrected its language, stressing the corporations. The computer thought about this for a moment and then realized that it could use better words to describe the situation. I looked down at the paper, which was still issuing from the machine. I realized that something was not quite right here. $F57 was actually the computer. I could see him now behind the screen. He was pulling on the other end of the sheet as i tried to pull the dimes toward me. I spoke to him, telling him to let go of the paper. I was then aware of someone behind me, who seemed to be with me. The person seemed to be a woman, but also seemed to be $Z. The person was standing to the southeast of me as i tugged on the paper, trying to get $F57 to let go.

I was riding my bicycle through the small old town looking for a specific house. The town was somewhere in the United Kingdom, and i was heading to the west down one of the paved streets. All of the small houses seemed low to the ground. I thought about the large house that i was looking for. I thought that it was a nice house, and i wondered where it was in this place. I looked around at the other buildings in this town. Everything here seemed very pleasant. All of the houses seemed very well kept. To the north of me, the land sloped up, and i could see large mansions on the hillside. I thought that i should no be heading through this area of town. It would not be socially acceptable for me to do so. I then remembered about the blue house that i was looking for. I had seen it in a photograph before, and i was trying to find it on the streets near me. A road turned off to the north, heading up the hill toward the mansions. I stopped in the intersection, thinking that i should probably not take the road. It only went up to the area where the mansions were, and i was not looking for a house that would be with the mansions. I also thought that i did not belong in the rich area of town. I would get in trouble for visiting there. I continued on the road that i was on, following the curving road around a corner and heading west again. The green hill to the north now had a more pronounced ridgeline, which had large mansions spaced along it. The area between the houses seemed to be filled with low scrub brush, which reminded me of the California hills. I was not traveling in the correct part of town, so i turned back to the east. As i started down the street again, i noticed something to the north of me. Through a gap in the buildings on the northern side of the street, i thought that i saw a blue house, and i thought that it might be the one that i was looking for. I slowed and looked down the alleyway to the north. I could see a large gray church with rounded towers on the corners. The steeples on the top of the towers were shaped like onions. I thought about the blue house in the picture. I remembered seeing the church in the picture as well, so i thought that the blue house must be somewhere near here. I could not see it at the moment, but i felt excited about finding it. I then started to feel a little awkward, wondering what i was supposed to do once i found it. I continued to the east, looking to the north to see if i could get a glimpse of the blue house. A small street ran to the north from the street that i was on. I decided that the blue house must be on the street. I slowed down, but i could not turn the car quickly enough onto the street. I had do drive past the street and then turn back to reach it. I circled to the south to turn around, following the narrow road over a narrow bridge. I said something to $A395 as i crossed the bridge to the south. I chatted with $A395 about the house, picturing it on the eastern side of the street to the north. I would have to cross the bridge, which seemed like the bridge to $P73, in order to turn around and head back to the street. A bus came from the north as i tried to turn around. I let it pass us on the east. I was now on my bicycle. I turned to the north but did not start back across the bridge. I stood on the sidewalk on the western side of the bridge, talking with $A395. She seemed serious about something. As we talked, i realized that $A639 had been dead for a little while. This seemed strange to me. I did not think that it was right, but i knew that she was dead, even though i remembered talking to her. I told $A395 that i was confused about $A639 being dead. It did not seem correct that she was dead.

I headed out of the building to the west, walking on the cement walkway in the urban area. My father’s mother was sitting at a small table on the sidewalk to the north of me. I was surprised to see her, and i greeted here. I asked her why she was here, and she said that she now works in this building. I looked back at the building, which seemed to have an aluminium overhang over the door. She said that this place was a dentist office. I thought that we were in Schenectady. I remembered that my father’s mother lived somewhere near there. It seemed like it had been a long time ago, though. I spoke to her for a while, and i thought about the dentist office here. I thought that i could go to the dentist here. I did not have a real dentist yet. I then thought that this place was too far away from where i lived. It would not be practical for me to go to the dentist here. I turned back to the east and headed back into the house. The house was now an old wooden gothic structure. Other people were in the house with me as i crossed the first floor of the building. The main room on the first floor seemed well kept, with white walls and nice wooden furnishings. People to the west of me were investigating something in the house. I had entered the house through the main door, which was to the east of me. The door led into the open corridor, which had rooms to the north and southeast. The corridor opened into the main room to the west of me. I thought that i was actually an investigator here, and i was trying to figure out what had happened in the house. Something was missing here. I looked around at the details of the room. The others had said that the kitchen was too small. I suspected that the kitchen had been altered to hid something. I walked into the small kitchen, entering from the east. The tile on the floor was aqua-blue, and the cabinets that filled the walls were white. I looked around the room, noticing that the room had no windows. It did not seem correct that this should be an interior room. I thought that one of the walls must be false, hiding something behind it. The wall to the south was covered with white cabinets. I was not sure that they would be hiding anything. I then looked to the east, where the pantry door was. I opened the door, noticing that the pantry was very shallow. The shelfs on the east wall seemed very close to the doors. I pressed on them, and they swinged back to the east. I thought that i had found the secret place. I noticed that the shelfs actually hid a vertical shaft. I looked down to see cables running up and down the shaft. This was really a dumb waiter. I was disappointed because it was not the discovery i had thought that it was. I looked down the shaft, but i could only see the cables below me. The tray must be above me, in the upper part of the shaft.

I moved through the corridors of the space ship. The others were dealing with the animals that had been released on the ship. This seemed to have something to do with the book that i had written. I realized that this was the second part of the plot. The story started with the rescue on the planet, but then the animals had been released in the ship. They were rather large animals, and they were released to cause damage on the ship. They would weaken the ship and cause confusion among the crew, which would make the ship susceptible to attack from the bad guys. I was facing north in the dark-gray corridors as the woman, who was the captain of the ship, talked with someone to the northeast of me. She had long brown hair. I looked to the northwest, where the animals seemed to be wandering the ship. I tired to think of how this plot would work. I was not sure how it would flow from the first section of the book. The book now seemed to be a series of small plots that would lead to a complete story. I thought about this as i moved through the dark-gray corridors.

I was with the group in the large cement structure, which seemed like a small stadium. I moved to the east, trying to figure out what i should do. Someone was trying to lead the people into the area, but i felt that this person was malevolent. I turned back to the south as the person spoke to the crowd. He asked them to go into the lower level of the cement structure so that they would be safe. I looked at the top of the round cement structure to the south of me, which seemed like a water storage tank. The center of the structure seemed to be a shallow dish, and water had collected in it. Something was wrong with the water, though. I knew that it was poisonous. The structure now seemed fairly low to the ground, and i thought that the lower level was underground. The man was trying to lure the people into the underground chamber. I worried that the water could fill the lower chamber, trapping the people underground. Someone then started talking about the water. The voice said that the water was polluted. I knew that the water was contaminated with radioactive iodine. It would seem like normal water, but it would slowly kill the people exposed to it. I moved around the dirt area outside the cement structure, wondering what i should do. I felt very uncomfortable here.

I had been driving the small vehicle down the narrow streets, and i had come to the small town where the garage was. The mechanic garage was to the east of me, and i seemed to have stopped on the narrow street to the west of it. I walked into the building though the door in the northern end of the western wall. The wood siding on the house seemed off white, with a pale yellow hue. I came into the northern end of the old wooden room of the house and stopped for a moment. I was looking for something here. I still had my bicycle with me, and i had to get it started so that i could leave. I turned the moped to the west and sat on it. I had moved to one of the interior rooms of the house. As i looked down at the handlebars of the moped, trying to get it started, i heard the voices of people talking to the southeast of me, in the next room. I realized that i recognized the voice. One of them sounded like $A510, and another sounded like another $G4. I realized that this might be the automotive garage where they worked. I was interested in seeing them, and i turned my attention to the south. I could not see into the next room, which seemed to be the machine shop, but i could still hear their voices. I said something about $G4 to see if anyone responded. A man was then to the southwest of me, in the same room as i was. He responded to me, and i asked him if the people in the other room were from $G4. He did not answer directly. I was off of the off-white moped and walking to the south, toward the other room. The man was still chatting with me as he got on the moped. I was then to the north of him as he tried to start it by pressing the metal pedal on the right side of the moped forward with his foot. The moped was already running, so he did not need to start it. The pedal pivoted like a lever around something near the front of the body of the moped. The man turned it all the way forward and stepped on it with all his weight. Something broke and the lever became loose. I felt suddenly upset. The man had broken the starter for the moped because he had tried to start it. I complained to the man, telling him that the lever was not meant to be turned like he had turned it. I was now angry and wondered how i would leave this place.

I was standing on the eastern side of the room, facing west, or i was lying in the bed that was on the eastern wall. I felt upset about something, and i make a noise. Other people were in other rooms of the house, to the west and northwest of me. I tried to scream in anger, but my voice was not working properly. The scream came out muffled and hoarse. I started to feel very upset and anguished now, and i tried to scream more, but my voice was not working properly. I was only producing a light breathing sound.

I moved to the west, along the counter in the large room. I had gotten food from somewhere before, but the man to the north of me was showing me a plate of food and offering it to me. I felt full and did not want to eat, but i took the plate. The food looked good. Square green wraps were on one side of the plate. They looked like small square pieces of food wrapped in dark-green soaked leafs. Tan noodles were coiled up on one side of the plate. It looked very good, but i had been doing something else and i should have continued doing it.

I felt a little nervous as i headed to the east, into the office. I was coming here for a new job. This place seemed like $G6, and i knew that i was coming to work for a woman, whose name i was familiar with. I walked the length of the room and stopped to the west of a cubicle. The cubicle was rather fancy, with a wall separating it from the rest of the office. The wall seemed to be only a wooden frame, with a large rectangular opening in the side so that the person could see out. A red desk was on the northern side of the cubicle. No one was in the office. I thought that this was the office of the person that i would be working for. I was not quite sure what to do here. I stood around to the east of the office for a moment, looking at the work area. I then noticed the computer screen to the north of me, just to the west of a doorway in the northern wall. I wondered if this would be my new desk. I then realized that the machine here was probably a Windows machine. I had never used one, and i wondered if they would want me to be proficient on one. I looked under the counter to see a black box, which i thought must be the computer. I then noticed an illuminated screen on the western side of the desk above the computer. The screen was gray and had black text on it. It looked old, and i realized that it was a telnet program that was accessing the student records of the university. I remembered using such a program long ago. I was surprised to see that it was still in use. I looked down at the computer again, thinking that the Windows machine was probably very outdated. I then noticed that the tan keyboard resting at an angle on the lower shelf actually said “Mac” on it in cursive black writing. This was actually a Macintosh computer. I looked back at the screen, but only saw the mainframe program screen. I then noticed the white box under the screen, which had something to do with the computer. For a moment, it looked like a small Macintosh Classic computer, with a multicolored apple logo, but then i saw that the white box was simpler, and it said “Mac II” on it. This was an old machine. I backed away from the desk, wondering what i would do on the machine. I was surprised that they had such an old machine still running, but i realized that they were probably keeping it because it was the only machine that they had that could run a telnet session to the student data system. I continued to the north, into the next room. Several open desks were on the northern wall, and i wondered if any of them were mine. I wanted to put my things down. I was then aware of my pants. I was wearing baggy blue pants, and i thought that i really should put on something better. A man entered the office from the southern door and walked to the east of me. I said something to him as i held on to the other pair of pants, which seemed dressier. I said that i would have to change my pants, and i headed to the northeastern corner of the room to get out of view of everyone. I realized that a cubicle was in the northeastern part of the room. I would be able to change there. I headed into the cubicle as the man turned to the south, heading to a desk on the eastern end of the southern wall. I glanced back at him, noticing the red curtains hanging on metal poles. They had something to do with the photography done here. I realized that the cubicle i was heading into was dark, and i thought that it was used for photography. I would be able to change here without anyone seeing me. As i pulled off my blue pants, i glanced to the south again, noticing that i could still see the man in the southeastern corner of the room. I hoped that i was not upsetting anyone by changing here. I put on the other pair of pants, which seemed more formal. I then walked back through the office to the south and headed west. I was thinking about this job as i paced around the building. I would have to find the woman that i was working for to let her know that i had arrived. I kept thinking of her name as i paced around in the gray outdoor area to the north of the building. The building was gray, and seemed to extend over the top of the small patio that i was walking in. The other man was with me as i moved a little to the north. I then looked down at my pants, noticing that they were very baggy. I had thought that they would fight tighter than the pants that i had on before, but i realized that they actually looked bigger. This annoyed me. As i turned to the south, i then noticed that the material was actually plaid, with dark red stripes running across the blue background. The light from the sun, which seemed to be in the sky to the southwest of me, must have highlighted the red, which was why i had not noticed the red before. I pulled on the front of the pants, realizing that the legs were very large at the bottom. The waist was tight around my waist, but the front and sides of the pants became very loose just below the waist. This annoyed me. I then thought that $A623 had purchased these pants for me, saying that they were a nice style. I had thought that she did not like baggy pants, but i realized that these pants actually looked outdated and ridiculous. I turned to the south, seeing the reflection in the dark glass on the outside of the building. The red stripes in the pants looked much more distinct now. I felt a little embarrassed to be wearing them, so i headed back into the building, thinking that i would change them. I headed down the corridor to the south, realized that i could now see off white patches in the plaid, making the pants look more out of date. I turned the corner of the cement corridor and started to the east. As i rounded the corner, though, i seemed to have dropped something. I looked down, seeing a small metal piece on the ground. It was roughly a half centimeter long, with a flat edge on the bottom and two triangular teeth on the top. The ends were cut so that the bottom edge angled up to the left and right rounded points of the triangles. Holes were punched through the center of the triangles. This metallic piece was part of my watch, which seemed to have fallen apart. I was aware of people approaching from the office at the other end of the corridor to the east of me. One of the women seemed to be $A313. I felt embarrassed because of the pants, but i bent over to collect the pieces of the watch. Several other metallic pieces had fallen on the ground. I tried to hide the bagginess of the pants as i tried to gather the watch. $A313 and the younger woman were standing to the east of me now, and they asked about the things i was picking up. I told them that it was a watch. I picked up a round gear, realized that the small pocket watch had fallen apart completely. I looked on the ground to the east of me to see the watch. The metal back of the watch had a round hole in it where the gear’s axle fit. $A313 said something and then continued up the corridor to the north with the other woman. I hurried back to the east, hoping to change my pant back to my blue ones, which i thought would, at least, look less like a costume. As i entered the office i had been in before, i realized that it was full of people. I had come on time before, but no one had been in the office yet. I suddenly thought that people might think i was coming in late. I looked through the opening in the cubicle to the east. A woman was sitting at the red desk on the northern side of the office, and she frowned back at me. She was the woman that i was supposed to be working for. I thought that she was disappointed in me because she thought that i was late. I felt uncomfortable. I was still wearing the embarrassing pants, and i wanted to go to the office to the north to change. I looked at the people sitting in a small circle outside of the woman’s office. They seemed young, and they glanced at me as i passed. I was uncomfortable here.

I was on the eastern side of a room, and i was packing up a tray of food in the restaurant. The tables here were empty, but food was still left on several of the plates. I stood on the western side of the round table, trying to pack up the tray of food. A woman then approached me from the northwest, asking about the red meat. I was not interested in eating the red meat, so i told her that i did not care what they did with it. I carried the tray to the west, coming to the top of the cliff. The ground here was pale tan, and the dirt ran all the way to the edge of the cliff, which was just to the west of me. Some people were moving around near the edge of the cliff to the south of me as i came near the edge. The land below seemed very far down. A small section of land was separated from the cliff i was on by a narrow chasm. Part of the cliff jutted out to the west, but it had separated from the rest of the cliff my a few meters. Some of the people were jumping to the outer section of the cliff to get a look at the valley below. It did not seem to be good idea to jump to this area. I then realized that $F47 was running toward the cliff to jump over the edge. He was holding a red leash in his right hand. I realized that his dog would not jump over the cliff with him, which would slow down his velocity, and he might not reach the small section of land to the west of the cliff. He fell suddenly, disappearing over the edge. He was still holding on to the leash, which tightened and stayed at the top of the cliff. The leash was being held on the top of the cliff, so $F47 was hanging over the edge of the cliff. I felt very worried about him, but i was not quite sure what to do. I felt a little less concerned when i thought that it was his own fault that he fell, but i still worried about him. I could not just leave. I walked to the south of where the rope was. Several people, who seemed to be part of $G3, were there. I told them that $F47 had fallen over the cliff. I wanted them to help me get him, but they did not seem to move, even though they seemed concerned. I moved to the north to grab the rope. A metal chain-link fence ran along the edge of the cliff to the west of me. The rope ran from somewhere to the northeast of me to the northwest of me, where it ran over the cliff. A wall or vertical structure ran to the east and northeast of me, separating this section of the cliff from the rest. I grabbed the red rope, hoping to help pull $F47 back up. As i gabbed the rope, i could hear $F47 yelling from below. I could hear the sound of water now, and i realized that $F47 must have jumped the rest of the way down the cliff. He could have found a ledge, but it now seemed that he was walking through the shallow water at the bottom of the cliff. The rope became suddenly loose, and i realized that he was no longer on it. I wondered how he would get back up the cliff. I then felt a foot on the right side of my back. Someone was pushing me toward the chain-link fence to the west of me. I did not want to be that close to the cliff, so i pushed back. I felt suddenly annoyed with the person, so i let go of the rope and pushed back angrily.

I had been sleeping, but i was now standing on $P28, to the west of me grandmother’s house. It was dark, and i was looking north, down the avenue. I could see rather well, and i focused on a cat that was standing at the bottom of the hill to the north of me. The street ran about a block before it stopped in front of the railroad tracks. The cat was standing at the end of the road, to the east of a house, in a paved driveway. I started to feel worried about the cat, thinking that it should not be out near the road or the train tracks. The cat looked around cautiously, and then trotted to the north, toward the tracks. A small bridge ran over the tracks, and the cat paused at the entrance to the bridge. I headed toward the cat, which now looked like a large rabbit. As i moved down the road, i noticed how smoothly and easily i was passing over the pavement. I also realized that i was moving quickly. This was a strange and unnatural motion, and i realized that i was probably still sleeping. I was actually seeing these things while i was still asleep at my grandmother’s house. I felt mischievous as i speeded toward the cat. I was moving rather quickly, and i knew that it was because i did not have a physical body. As i approached the cat, i made a noise, knowing that the cat would not really hear it because i was not really there. To my surprise, the cat turned suddenly and darted to the west in surprise. It had seen me, but not until i was very close to it. I thought that this was very strange. I was still dreaming, so the cat should not have been able to see me. I was traveling outside of my body, but i must be able to affect the world around me in some way. The cat must have been able to sense me. I reached the northern end of the paved area and turned west, flying along the southern side of the railroad tracks. It was daytime now, and i could see the small river that ran along the northern side of the tracks. The river flowed to the west, with banks that sloped up on both sides of the water. The bushes on the southern side of the river were bright green, and everything seemed bright and fresh. The leafs were just coming out on the plants, and some of the bushes still had long thin tan branches. Everything seemed very nice here. I then realized that i was on the northern side of the river, and i wondered how i had gotten there. I did not remember crossing the river. I remembered that i was still asleep, so i thought that i must be vision walking. I then remembered that it was dark where i had been asleep. It was day here, so the time here must be different than when i was sleeping. I did not understand how i could be vision walking and sleeping in different time periods. Ahead of me was a cement bridge, which looked like a highway overpass. I veered to the northeast, crossing several streets. The buildings around me seemed to be small shopping centers. A tall tan one to the north of me seemed to be a parking garage. I was unfamiliar with this area, but i wanted to explore it. I flew to the east of the parking garage, looking at the tall green trees that were planted in the sidewalk near me. They had long slender branches that reached high into the air, and the branches were covered with shiny green leafs. Something about this area reminded me of California. As i floated over the trees, i thought that i could move back and forth a little in time. This place seemed to be forward in time from where i was sleeping. I watched the long limbs of the trees sag and open as i shifted in time. I then noticed the blue car on the street to the northeast of me. It was backing up when time was moving forward, but it moved forward as the time reversed. I looked back at the trees. The changes were not as obvious in the trees because the trees would need more time to adjust their limbs to the light. I turned to the north again and flew over the streets of this area. The main street ran east to west. I thought that the mall was on the northern side of the street, somewhere to the west of where i was. I turned to the northwest just before i hit the main street. A large tan building was to the northwest of me now. I wondered how i could tell when these events were happening. I could tell people that i had seen these places during a vision walk, but i would not be able to prove it. I focused on the building, looking for details that i could verify later to let me know that this dream was a vision walk and not just a dream. As i approached the building, i looked at the thick trees on the eastern side. The building seemed to be a mall. I tried to memorize the details of the trees, thinking that i could check out the real mall later to see if i had really seen something.

The dinosaur had been chasing us, but it had stopped at the edge of the river, to the north of us. I had stopped in the middle of the river, which ran east to west under me. I seemed to be floating in the air. I had not been concerned about the dinosaurs because i knew that they could not get me. I looked down into the water suddenly, noticing the pale shape of a dinosaur under the surface of the water. The tyrannosaur had jumped into the water to come after us, but it could not swim. It was lying on its back on the bottom of the river, trying to get up. This seemed very strange. I thought that the animal had killed itself, but then the animal seemed to be on the shore again. I turned to the south and started back into the room. The man said something about returning to the place. I thought that he was referring to the place where the people had created the dinosaurs. It was like Jurassic Park. The people here had breaded dinosaurs from old DNA. I watched the man as he approached me, moving to the north in the darkened room. We seemed to be in the cellar of a building, and i was standing in a northern entrance to the room. He walked toward me, but stopped to do something with the large metal cage to the east of him. He talked about reviving the dinosaurs here. The room was filled with large cages where the animals had been houses. I remembered how the dinosaurs had been so hard to contain before, and i warned the man of this. I did not think that it was a good idea to create them again. I started to feel nervous of what the man was doing. He opened the cage door, and i noticed a tall theropod walking toward him from the corridor. It seemed to be a velociraptor, though it stood at least two meters tall and had unfeathered skin. I felt suddenly nervous of it, and i thought that we should be careful. I knew that the man was going to create trouble, and i was worried that the animals would escape. I told him that i did not want to be here, and i started running to the south. I knew that there was no place for me to go in the room, so i would be trapped with the creature. I then realized that a large metal cage was in the center of the room. I ran through the door in the northern side of the cage and closed it behind me. I would be trapped in the cage, but the theropod would not be able to get me. I then realized that i would have no way to get out. I wondered what i should do. The theropod started pecking at the northern side of the cage, trying to get me. I then imagined that the cage had a trap door in the ceiling that went up into the ceiling of the room. The animal would not be small enough to squeeze between the ceiling of the room and the top of the cage. I opened the door and started climbing up to get away. The theropod kept attacking the northern side of the cage, watching me as i escaped.

I felt nervous about something, and i moved to the window to the southern end of the room. I was on the second floor of my parents’ house, near the eastern end of the building. My mother said something about the storm outside, and i looked up to the north, seeing dark clouds moving across the sky. The dark-gray clouds covered the sky above me and along the northern horizon, but a reddish gap of gray haze covered the middle area, just above the leafless branches of the trees to the north. The haze had streaks in it, so i thought that it must be pouring rain to the north. I then looked to the south, out the small window in the bedroom. My mother had mentioned the tornadoes in the storms, and i could now see a funnel cloud in the field to the south of us. It was white, with a red stripe down the eastern side and long rectangular blue bars near the top and midsection on the western side. It was moving to the west, so i knew that it would not be heading toward the house. I told my mother that a tornado was to the sound of us. She came to the window to see, but the tornado had moved behind the thick green tree line in front of the house. I told her that it had just disappeared behind the trees. I then noticed a gray funnel cloud to the east, just coming into view on the other side of the field. I pointed this cloud out to her, realizing that it was one in a queue of clouds moving across the field from the east. As the tornados neared the center of the field, they changed color to white, and were spotted with blue and red bars. I knew that the blue and red markers indicated the strength of the winds, telling us that the tornados were getting stronger as they crossed the field. I thought about how far away they really were. They seemed to be quite a distance away, and i tried to look at the ground under them to determine just how far from the house they were. I could not exactly tell. The ones to the east seemed to be on the other side of the hill to the southeast of the house, but i was still able to see them in the field to the south. I backed away from the window, looking to the southwest now. The sky was dark, but i could not see the ground. I was worried that the storm would come our way. The dark storm seemed to be to the north, and the tornados were to the south, so the main storms were heading around the house. I kept looking to the southwest, though, concerned about the dark clouds there. I could not see past the trees, but the dark reddish hazy sky there seemed fuzzy, as though it was very close to a large tornado. I worried that a very large tornado was to the southwest of us, and i was not sure which direction it was headed. I moved a little to try to see over the trees. It was now dark, and i was standing near my car in a dirt parking area on the southern side of the road. The land around me was forested, but the trees seemed to have shed most of their leafs. I had come here to hike in the forest, but the tornados seemed rather threatening now. I felt uneasy here, thinking that i should not have been hiking in the swampy forest near me. The land rose up a steep forested hill to the south and northwest of me. The narrow valley extended to the west and seemed to open up to the east and northeast. I then thought that a helicopter was flying over the trees to the west of me. It was heading to the southwest, and i thought that it was looking for something. I did not want them to find me here, and i knew that i should get in my car and drive back to my parents’ house. My mother would be upset if she knew that i had come out here when the storms were passing through. Some people seemed to be to the northwest of me. I could see lights through the trees. I had to get out of this area before they came. I started moving to the east, down the dirt road. I hoped that i would be able to make it back to my parents’ house before the storms came. I wondered why i had come out when the storms were in the area. I felt very uncomfortable and tried to ride my bicycle to the east. I quickly came to the intersection of the dirt roads. A large house was to the east of me, and several other small old houses were set at the base of the hill to the southeast. One dirt road ran to the east on the northern side of the large barn structure, and the other ran in front of the old houses on the southern side of the large garage. I had come to the garage for something, and i rode my bicycle into the building. This place was a mechanics garage. My father came here for work, but i had come here to pick something up. It seemed to be a dangerous trip to make with the storms around, and i hoped that i could get back to my parents’ house before the storms got any closer. I spoke to someone in a room on the western side of the building, which seemed to be an office or work area. I then moved to the north, heading down a narrow stairway. At the bottom, i turned to the east and walked into the large open barn area, which seemed to be a garage. The northern side of the building was open to the outside. I got on my motorcycle and tried to start it, but the tan motorcycle would not start. I looked at the rounded handlebars, feeling upset that it was broken. I remembered that i was having trouble getting the bicycle started before. I wondered if the men could fix it here, but then i decided that i had to get back to my parents’ house quickly. I should not have left in the middle of a storm. I knew that my mother would be upset if she knew where i had gone. I wanted to get back before she realized that i had come here. My parents’ house seemed to be down the southern road, in a small town somewhere to the east of here. I was in a small hamlet in the hills to the west of them. I felt frustrated with the motorcycle, wondering what i could do to. I was very anxious, and i left the bicycle in the large garage area and headed back to the east, into the house part of the building. I had come here to pick up something for my father, even though he was unaware that i had come. This garage did not have the correct part yet, though, so i had made the trip for nothing. I felt upset about this, and i had to get back to my parents’ house. The house seemed too far away to walk. I did not think that i could get back in time if i walked. I then wondered if i could get a ride from someone traveling on the dirt road. I did not want to ask, though, because the people here did not seem friendly to others not in their community. I worried that i would not be able to get home before the large storm from the southwest came. I wondered what i should do. I moved to the south, exiting the front of the building. The sky was very dark to the south of us, and i worried that the storm was approaching quickly. I wanted to walk home, but it started to rain. I would now be stuck here. I felt desperate and really wanted to get home. I walked along the southern side of the house, heading east, trying to stay under the overhang so that i did not get too wet. Two men had come out of the house to the east of me to look at the dark storm clouds that could be seen over the crest of the tall steep hill to the south. Another building was now to the south of me, between the large house and the dirt road. I ran along the southern side of the house until i came to a porch, which as set into the eastern end of the southern side of the house. The storm was coming, and i knew that the large tornado was coming with it. I felt upset, thinking that i did not have a safe place to hide here. I would have to find shelter from the tornado, but i did not think that the house had a good storm cellar. I thought that i should get to the basement in the garage area. As i headed toward the door in the center of the porch, though, the wind started to blow from the west. It blew between the two buildings, over the green grass of the lawn. The men seemed to be suddenly concerned to the west of me and started to move toward the house. I then felt light and realized that the tornado must be over us. It was sucking us up. I tried to lay down on the porch, but the wind was starting to lift me. I felt panicked and wondered what to do.

12013 January 29

I walked to the north, along the western side of the large building, which seemed to be $P205. I moved quickly along the side of the tan building, looking at the brown roof that overhung the door in the center of the building. The overhang was thick, and it looked like it was made out of a textured cement. It looked like a beaded styrofoam, but i knew that it was solid. I grabbed on to the edge of the overhang, and bit into it. It suddenly seemed strange to me that i was eating part of the building, and i wondered if it was actually sanitary to eat. I felt the dry texture of the material in my mouth as i chewed it, feeling uneasy about eating it. I took another bite, though, as i pulled the overhang down from the side of the building. It was rather light. I was actually working on the building, and i was supposed to do something with the short roof. I put another piece in my mouth, wondering why i was actually eating it. Someone then said that the roof was made out of dead children. I remembered that the children had died, and their bodies were missing. I looked at the wood and dark material that had been the short roof. I placed it on the ground in front of me, to the south of me. I was sitting on the dirt on a median to the west of the building. The parking lot was to the north and south of me. I looked at the wooden tray with small squares of brown material packed into small squares. The tray had been a flower planter, but the flowers were all dead for the winter. I moved my hands over the squares of dry vegetation, trying to take the tray of flowers apart. I kept thinking about the dead children. Their bodies had been hidden in the planters. I then realized that several people were now standing around me, to the south of me. They watched what i was doing. The people then started talking about the missing children. I pretended that i had not heard the stories, because i had been eating parts of the tray that i was taking apart. The people talked about the children as they looked down at the trays i was working on, and i started to feel a little uncomfortable. I wondered where the children actually were. The planters that i was working with were too small to hide their bodies. I then thought about the hillside to the west. The land sloped down steeply at the edge of the parking lot. The slope was covered with weeds and thicket trees that looked like staghorn sumac. I wondered if the bodies of the children had been dumped there.

12013 January 30

I crossed the wooden floor of the small square room, heading to the north. Most of the northern wall of the second-floor room was glass, and a door was in the center of the wall. The door had a thick wooden frame, but was mostly made of glass itself. I was trying to look at something to the north of the house, which seemed like my parents’ cottage. The river was just off the house to the north, and i could see the blue water from the window that was to the east of the door. As i approached the window, i noticed a metal catwalk extending from the doorway in the center of the wall. The deck of the catwalk was a grating, and it looked like it was made from cast iron. Thin black metal poles supported the deck of the bridge from the ceiling above. The bridge extended about two meters to the north from the house, but then turned west. I could not see where it went from there, but it seemed to connect to an open porch structure that was just off the main house, to the north, over the river. I then noticed the metal I-beams just to the east of the door, between the door and the window. A tall narrow rectangular opening seemed to be in the wall between the two I-beams. At first, i thought that it was a window in the wall. As i approached it, however, i realized that it was actually an opening in the wall. I wondered why my father had designed the wall with an opening like this. It was about a deci wide and ran from the floor to the ceiling. My father had built this building, which seemed to be my parents’ new cottage. I looked at the space between the I-beams, thinking that it was a stylistic feature. I then wondered why they had left it in the wall. It was an opening on the second floor of the building, and i thought that $X13 would be able to escape through it. I looked through the hole at the water below. The house seemed to surround a small rectangular area of the river, enclosing it on three sides and leaving the northern side open. I thought that $X13 would not jump out the window because it was too far to the ground below, and the ground below was water. I then thought that he might try to jump to the narrow bridge that extended from the door. The railings of the bridge were just to the west of the narrow opening. It would be hard for him to jump onto the catwalk, but he might try. If he missed it, however, he would fall into the water below. This was not good. With my head through the opening, i looked down the river to the east. The river seemed scenic, with low flat grassy fields on the northern shore. A few lush trees ran along the southern edge of the field, on the bank of the river. The sun brightly lighted the land, and everything seemed to be Summer. A few iron-beam truss bridges crossed the river to the east. The one closest to me was made of a dark metal, with a flat bottom and an arched support structure. The bridges looked old, with vegetation growing near the old cement foundations on the northern bank. I pulled my head into the house so that i could reposition myself to get a better view. I looked back out the window and to the east. I wanted to get a better look at the bridges, thinking that i should actually take pictures of them. I did not have my camera with me. This time, i noticed something moving under the black metal bridge. It was climbing on the southern end of the metal structure, and i thought that it was a sloth. It seemed very strange to see a sloth on the metal beams, and i tried to get a better look. The animal was on the underside of the bridge, and seemed somewhat close to the house. I pulled my head back into the hole and moved a little to the east to try to get a better look at the animal from the window to the east. I looked out at the bridge again. This time, the bridge was a black metal truss structure that did not seem to come all the way to the southern shore of the narrow river. I looked at the southern end, noticing the black furry animal climbing under it. The animal seemed to be an ape, and it swinged on the beams under the bridge. It seemed very close now, and i could see its wrinkled black face with gray fur around the edges. I thought that it was very strange that it was here. It swinged to the south, and i realized that it was actually swinging toward the northeastern corner of the house. It disappeared from sight off the end of the bridge, and i worried suddenly that it had started climbing on the house. I stepped back into the room, wondering if it would be able to get into the house through the narrow hole in the northern wall. I ran to the east, hoping to get a better view of where the ape had gone. I passed through a large archway and into a wide-open room of the house. The room was very sunny and seemed to have large windows on the southern, northern, and eastern walls. It also seemed to have a glass roof. I could see down the river now, but none of the metal bridges seemed close to the house anymore. I felt confused, and i wondered where the ape had gone. I stopped in the middle of the large empty room, which seemed to be my parents’ bedroom. I could not see the ape, and i felt oddly out of place here. I jumped up and landed on the floor. The room sunk down with my weight, and then rose again. I then jumped up and down again. This wing of the new cottage was actually floating on the water, and i was causing it to bob up and down. The house then splashed heavily into the water below, and i could see a white plume of water splatter to the south, through one of the large windows. The wing of the house had lifted out of the water and had crashed back down rather forcefully. I was surprised that it had bounced so much. I was then nervous that i might have done some damage to it. I looked back to the west, noticing a gap opening up between this wing of the house and the main section. The floating wing of the house had disconnected from the rest of the house and was starting to drift to the east. I ran back to the west, wondering what i should do. I thought that i would have to get out of the room and tell my parents that the house was broken. I wondered how i could tell them. I imagined that i would ask my mother where the living room was. It was on the first floor of the floating section, and would be gone. I would act like i did not understand where it was, and that would let them know that the section had broken off from the rest of the house.

I took the small black box and started to fly to the east, over the land, which seemed to be somewhere to the northeast of $P14. I said something to the other man, who was to the north of me. We had done something, and i put the object into the small black box to hide it. The man had said that we should hide the box so that the others do not discover what we had done. I thought that i would hide the box in the gorge that was just to the south of me. I looked down at the narrow ravine with steep rock walls. We could not let the officials find the black box, so i thought that i should hide it somewhere in the rock wall on the northern side of the gorge. As i flew over the landscape, i noticed a section of gorge to the east of me. The gorge ran parallel to a road to the south of me, but the gorge turned to the northeast, crossing the road somewhere. A second road ran to the north, on the western side of the gorge. The gorge curved in an S-shape slightly as it curved to the northeast. Trees hung over the edges of the cliffs. This part of the gorge seemed secluded enough to hide the box in. I was aware of several large buildings near the gorge on the road, but i decided that this part of the gorge would not be used as much as the part to the southwest, so it might be a better place to hide the box. A green metal bridge seemed to cross the gorge somewhere to the north of me. I wondered if i could hide the box on the underside of the bridge. It might keep it away from people walking in the gorge. I moved toward the gorge, but now seemed to be farther to the north than i had been. The gorge below me still seemed secluded, and seemed like the right place to hide the box, but it was not the same stretch of ravine that i had seen before. I floated down, trying to figure out where i could hide the box. As i descended, the opening to the gorge seemed to be tot he southeast of me. I could see the wide opening in the land. I then heard the voices of some people in the gorge. It was dark now, and i could not see the people. I flew to the south, toward the tall cliff. The gorge was now an opening in the steep rounded stone of the cliff. The cliff seemed to be about twenty or twenty-five meters tall, with small trees growing here and there on the cliff face. The gorge was a vertical gap in the center of the cliff, and the gorge seemed to run to the southwest, so that i could not easily see into it. I could hear the voices ahead of me, and i flew toward the mouth of the gorge. I then felt uneasy about the rocks on the edges of the cliff. It was too dark for me to easily see where i was flying, so i would have to slow down. I felt a little nervous as i looked at the eastern edge of the entrance to the gorge. Several tan rounded rocks stuck out from the side of the cliff wall, coming across the mouth of the gorge by a meter or so. I would have to be careful of them. I could still hear the voices in the dark. Two men were talking to each other. I floated into the gorge, aware that i was now very close to the rock face on the southern side of the gorge. The men must be walking down a path on the steep rock surface. One of them commented to the other. I felt mischievous and wanted to scare them. I hovered near the voices, thinking that i could make some noises to make them think that something scary was near them. I moved near the black surface of the rock, unable to see the men. I made a noise, feeling somewhat mean now. The men seemed uneasy with the noise i had made, and i wanted to scare them more. I then started to worry that they might have flashlights and might shine them in the air. I did not want them seeing me. I flew around, thinking about what i could do.

I was jogging to the southwest, and $F45 was to the northwest of me. He seemed to be jogging as well. We were participating is some kind of race. I thought that we had not started with the crowd, but i wanted to start running faster so that i could catch up some. $F45 paused for a moment, turning back to the northeast. I continued on, thinking that i should speed up. I then wondered whether $F45 would be able to run faster that i. I started running faster to the southwest, down the cement path. Most of the runners had already turned onto the main road and started heading west. I passed a man as i started to speed up. He seemed like $A583. I then thought that i should not speed up until later in the race. I should start out slowly and only speed up near the end. I turned to the west, heading down the main strip. Something was distracting me, though, and i turned back to the east so see where $F45 was. I had started driving very fast on this part of the highway, but i thought that i should only drive around fifty-five miles per hour until i reached the western end of the course. Once we turned around i could start driving as fast as the car would go. A few of the other cars were passing me at the moment. I wondered where $F45 was. He had fallen behind, but i thought that he would be coming down the road soon. I was now walking to the east on the road. I had left my car on the southern side of the road. I suddenly realized that i should go back to my car and continue driving. I did not want to fall too far behind in the race. I turned back to the west and headed to my car. It was parked awkwardly across the southern lane of the road. I realized i should not have left it in the road, because the cars speeding toward me from the east might not be able to stop in time. I walked to the driver’s side of the car and opened the back door. I had to put my bicycle back into the car. I pushed it over the back seat of the car, which was folded down. I started to feel tense, thinking that the cars would be coming from the east very quickly. I felt rushed, and tried to get my bicycle to fit in the back of the car. I moved to the hatchback, which was open on the eastern end of the car. I could not get the bicycle to fit easily, and i realized that i had a large box in the truck, on the southeastern part of the trunk. I layed the bicycle over the top of it, but could not get the bicycle to fit in the trunk so that i could close the door. I felt frustrated as i hurried to get the door closed. I pushed the box a little to try to cram the bicycle in. It finally fit into the trunk, and i got back into the car. I drove quickly to the west, thinking that i could go much faster on my return, once i turned around at the western end of the race course and started driving down the east-bound lanes of the highway that i was on.
