I followed $A601 to the west as he talked about the camper. I looked at the long low vehicle to the south of me. I was walking down the southern side of the road, and the vehicle was off the road on the gravel pull-off. It had a peaked roof with a curved peak. As i walked along the low flat part of the vehicle, which seemed to be the back end, i noticed that the roof could open, with both sides separating at the peak and folding outward. White mesh seemed to cover open spaces under the flaps. People would be able to sleep in the back of the vehicle, though it seemed that it would have limited space. $A601 mentioned the vehicle, saying that it was his old one. He was selling both of his campers. I pictured the new one, which was pale tan. It seemed to be to the west. He then referred to the old one as a vehicle from 1951. The green one seemed old, and i was not interested in it.

I left the other in the house and went outside to the west. I felt as though i had to do something. I descended the shallow slope of a grassy hill to the west of the house. To the south of me, the hill ended in a retaining wall. A long gravel parking lot was at the bottom of the retaining wall. The wall ran about ten meters from the western side of the house. As i reached the end of the hill and the retaining wall, i noticed that a truck was pulling out of the lot to the west of me. It was a tow truck, and it was pulling a car behind it. I suddenly realized that the tow truck was towing cars from the lot. I wondered if the people inside knew that their cars were being towed. We should not have been parking here. I knew that my car was parked in the garage, which was under the house, to the east of me. I thought that my car might also get towed, even if it was in a garage. I rolled the dark-green garage door up and walked into the garage. My car seemed to be on the northern side of the cement room under the house. The main part of the room was very wide, but it extended to the east on the northern side. I got into my car, which was red. I wanted to start it and drive it out of the garage before the tow trucks came back. As i started the car, i realized that the steering wheel had come out of the dashboard. The thin round wheel was resting on top of the dashboard in front of the driver’s seat. I picked it up, noticing that it had a long flat metal bar coming out the back. I would have to insert the bar into the black column in the dashboard to get it to work. I tried inserting it, but i missed the rectangular hole. I then realized that the steering wheel and its metal bar really seemed to be made of cheap plastic. They looked more like parts to a model car. I thought about the red car that i was in, picturing the curvature of the trunk. The car seemed like a Lamborghini Countach, but it was made of thin plastic.

I was in the kitchen of my parent’s house, looking out the window to the southwest of me. I was aware of the front porch of the house, but i could not see it. An old tree was lying on the ground in the front of the house, and i thought that the strong winds must have tipped it over. It was leafless and looked dead, but it was still early in the spring. The tree trunk was facing southwest, and the entire tree seemed very tall and narrow. I moved a little to the west, toward the dining room of the old house. The tree branches looked dry, like the tree had been dead. I then noticed that someone had cut up parts of the fallen tree. It must have been in the way. I walked to the west, passing the large windows on the front of the house. I was aware of something to the southeast of me, near the standing maple tree in the front yard. It seemed to be dark out, but i could see the yard clearly. I could not see the road beyond or anything in the distance. I felt uneasy, thinking that someone might be on the southeastern corner of the lawn, watching me in the house. I continued across the middle bedroom of the house, now on the second floor. I had to get somewhere that the person could not see me. I passed through a doorway and into a short corridor. I turned to the north, into a small room. I was still aware of the window behind me, and the lights in the small room were on. I turned to the east, getting out of the doorway of the room. Three thin round switches were on the wall. The switches were thin short rods that tapered on the ends. They looked like they were made of glossy plastic. I turned off the switches, watching the different lights in the room go out. After i turned all three off, i started to the east again, but i realized that the lights in the room were still on. I looked to the northwest, across the tiny square room. A thin black chord of lights was strung across the western and northern walls. It had small rounded bulges in the cable that were still emitting an orangish light. I thought that they should have been turned off with the switches, and i watched them to see if they took time to fade. The lights then faded slowly to dark. I could still see easily around the room, but i knew that the lights were now off. I turned to look down the short flight of stairs to the east. Four or five steps filled the short corridor that ran from the southern side of the room. They led back to the middle bedroom of the house. I thought that this small room might be a good place to hide when the others came to the house. A window was in the northern wall of the room, and a close seemed to be in the northern end of the eastern wall. I imagined running from the middle bedroom up the stairs and into this room. It would be a good place to hide, because people might not know that it is here. I thought about this for a moment, wondering how i could seal up the room so that it was not noticeable from the outside. It would have to have a door over the entrance in the western end of the southern wall. That door would have to look like the rest of the wall on the outside. I then wondered what could be over the bottom of the stairs. I thought that a bookcase could be put there. I pictured a short bookcase that could slide out of the way. I turned to the north. I was now in the corridor on the southern side of the small room. Two other people were talking to the west of me. I had been walking down the corridor with them. I looked down the hall to the east as we turned to follow the hall to the north. I could see the small panel slide down over the hidden room to the east. The panel closed and a textured pattern formed over the top of it. The patch of texture was roughly oval, with the upper left side higher than the other side. It had a hatched pattern across it that looked like wrinkles in a drying paste. I called to the other two and pointed out the door. I knew that the young man had sealed himself in the room to hide from the others, but it seemed that we were not the ones from whom he would be hiding. The two men stopped for a moment and looked back at me. The man on the western side was Bruce Wayne. They paused only long enough to regard me, and then they continued down the hall to the west, discussing something. I wondered how the man was hiding in the room. I leaned against the northern wall of the hallway, which now seemed to be a small room. I was watching the eastern wall near me, but someone was coming from the north, down the corridor. I turned to look at the man as he came into the room, which seemed like an alcove in the eastern wall of the corridor. The man was young, and he was not wearing a shirt. He had a nice muscular build, and he seemed to be a stereotyped athlete. He seemed to have a tattoo around his right biceps. He had curly blond hair. He seemed startled to see me standing in the room. He paused for a moment, staring at me. He had a black metal bar over his right shoulder. I realized that the bar was part of fitness equipment. It seemed to be the leg extension for a Soloflex. He lifted the bar from his shoulder and slided the thin wooden door of the closet in the southern wall open. He put the bar in the closet and backed up to look at me. I then realized that i was sitting on the northern end of an old couch, which was against the eastern wall of the room. A second man was sitting to the south of me on the couch. He was also well built and not wearing a shirt. I felt very attracted to both of the men, but i did not want to say anything about it. They said something to each other, and then the first man walked to the north, back down the corridor. I continued watching them, now looking at the man who was sitting next to me. Another man came from the north. He was shorter. He had a baggy coat on, and he had a plain round face. He was East Asian, and his features did not seem attractive. He had short black hair and a small chin. He knelt on the ground to the south of the man who had been on the couch. The man was now sitting on the floor, facing south. I then realized that the third man was unzipping the second man’s pants to fellate him. I felt amused that the athletic man was homosexual, but i felt uneasy that the two men were copulating in front of me. I wanted to be with the athletic man, but i felt uncomfortable here. As i started to move, the shorter man looked up at me and asked me if i liked menage a trois. I was surprised that he had asked. I told him that i had participated in a threesome before. He then invited me to join them. I was tempted to caress the athletic man, but i was still uneasy with the situation.

I had just left the class, and i was walking across the college campus. I was demonstrating for the class how to run a campus tour. I thought about the places on the campus and how to describe them. I looked at the ground just to the east of me. An oval cast-iron grate surrounded a thin sapling, which was growing in the middle of the grassy area. The paved path seemed to go around the grate. I stared at the grate as i walked around the southern side of it, describing something about it. The grate was tipped down to the west, and water had collected in a puddle on the western side. I walked to the eastern side, carrying water in a large container. I dumped water on the eastern side of the grate, which seemed to cover dry ground. I thought that the other tour guides had been only watering the western side. I watched the water i poured soak the ground and then flow to the west to join the puddle. I thought about this as i turned my attention to the east and started walking across the southern side of the quadrangle. Large modern buildings seemed to surround the quadrangle, and i was following a path that ran slightly uphill to the east. The path curved ahead of me to the northeast. Bushes seemed to run along the southern side of the quadrangle, and several large trees seemed to be in the area, though they did not yet have any leafs. The grass on the sides of the path was green. I noticed a stream of water flowing across the path ahead of me. I remembered this from before. It was a river that flowed through the center of campus. It was only a deci or so deep, and it seemed to be about a meter and a half wide. It flowed down a slight depression in the ground. A voice then said that it was called Overflow River, and it described how the river flowed across the campus, saying that it was a tradition of the campus. As i approached the river, i noticed a woman walking toward me from the other direction. She was wearing a skirt and matching business coat, both of which seemed to be made of a rough material. She was turning to the northeast to describe something, but no one was with her. I realized that she was practicing a tour-guide speech as well. I could hear her voice as she approached. I nodded as she crossed the river in front of me and make a comment about her practicing a tour as well. She continued on to the west. I stepped into the river to cross it. My foot slided to the south a little from the current. I was surprised that it was so strong. I would have to have better footing to step across it. I bent over to have a lower center, looking at the clear water flowing over the brown pavement. When i looked back up, i was heading to the north, down the street. I seemed to be driving a car now. The voice was describing the campus for me. It said something about five fraternities and one all-male house. I did not quite hear what it was saying, and i thought that i must have misheard. Large plain buildings were on the eastern side of the street as i drove north, through an area that seemed to be part of the campus. I could see the streetlights and traffic lights of intersections ahead of me. The voice described the fraternities on campus, but i knew that there were more than five fraternities. I listened, trying to understand what i had misheard. The voice then mentioned the dorms, and i thought that it must have said that five of the houses were dorms. I thought that the other fraternities must be off campus. I knew that there were many at this school. I tried to listen and understand what the voice was talking about. I then noticed the intersection ahead of me. I was now heading to the south down the busy read. I slowed to a stop at a red light. The road was very wide here, and the buildings around me no longer seemed to be part of a college campus. They seemed more suburban. The buildings lined the streets, but trees seemed to shade the area. I then noticed a car to the east that had been damaged. A light-blue Volkswagen Beetle was sitting in the right lane of the road. It was crumbled as though it had been in an accident. I thought that this must have just happened. To my surprise, all of the cars were starting to go around the wrecked car to make it through the green light. The blue car then jerked forward. It appeared to be crushed from both the front and back. I thought that one of the cars in the line must have hit it from the back. As i watched, though, no cars seemed to slow down going around it, and none of the passing cars were damaged on the front. The light-blue Beetle then rolled forward again, this time rolling into the intersection. I realized that the car was moving by itself. The driver was trying to drive the car. I thought that he was trying to flee the area before the police came to the accident scene. The small car jerked forward, turning to the south. The side panels of the car hung loosely and flapped as the car rolled unevenly to the south. It speeded away along the western side of the street. I could now hear the sound of sirens somewhere to the north of me. They sounded like fire or ambulance sirens. The light turned green, and i started driving through the intersection. I was aware of a siren coming from the west, but it was not close to me. I rolled to a stop on the other side of the intersection. I stared down the street, wondering where the blue car had gone. I thought about telling the police that it had gone to the south. I thought that it might have turned west on one of the side streets, but it seemed to have gone around the corner ahead, which turned to the southeast, and then turned down one of the side streets to the southwest.

I moved quickly the west, looking north into the next room as i entered. I entered the long rectangular room through a door in the southern end of the eastern wall. I had been with some other people, but i had to move to the west for some reason. I felt that the situation was urgent, and i had to move. I looked at the people sitting in the room to the north of me. Something about the room reminded me of a bowling alley. Most of the people seemed to be on the southern end of the room, near me. They sat on the benches along the eastern wall and around the tables that were here. They seemed to be members of my family, and i was surprised to see them here. I wondered if they had come here to surprise me. I felt glad to see them, and i relaxed for a moment in the center of the southern side of the room, a few meters from the southern wall. I watched someone stand up from a table near the eastern wall and move toward me. Something was still wrong, though. I was aware of something to the east that seemed dangerous. I focused on the people sitting in the benches along the eastern wall. They now seemed like political figures, and they were leaning against the wall. Someone to the east of the wall had started shooting through the wall at them. The politicians were being killed. Something was wrong. I ran to the west again. I passed through a doorway in the southern end of the western wall and came into another long narrow rectangular room that stretched to the north. People were again sitting along the eastern wall. This room also seemed to be a bowling alley. I looked at the old men who were sitting along the wall. They seemed to be sketched in black pencil and shaded with blue. They reminded me of old Italian men from movies. I told them that something was happening in the room to the east. I then told them that the president and congressmen were being shot. They stared at me as though they did not understand what was happening. I wondered if they were involved. They seemed like they could be part of a gang, like the Mafia. I pictured the political figures again. They were also drawn in black ink, but the lines were heavier. They wore business suits, and several were slumped over against the wall. I knew that several of them were dead. I ran to the west, passing through a doorway in the southern end of the western wall. I knew that some of the political figures had escaped, and that they had been led to the west. I opened up the door and looked down the long hallway that stretched to the west. The white corridor was narrow and had a short ceiling. It seemed to be an underground passage. I remembered this from before. The political figure had escaped this way the last time. I knew that they would be heading to the west again. The woman would have led them down the corridor so that they could escape on the other side of the building. I could see quite a way down the corridor, but i could not see them. They were far enough ahead of me. I then realized that the gunmen would be following me. I could not run down the corridor because i would be leading the gunmen to the politicians. I turned to the north and ran along the wall. I was now running up a set of cement steps that ran through a narrow corridor. The walls of the corridor were pale red. They seemed to be made of brick, but it was a smooth featureless surface. I thought that i could get the gunmen to follow me and lead them away from the politicians. When i reached the top of the stairs, i seemed to be on the college campus. I had ascended steps between two large buildings, and i found myself in the southwestern corner of a small courtyard that was surrounded by buildings on all sides. A paved path ran diagonally from the steps to the northeast, where it exited the courtyard to the east, between two large dark buildings. I spotted a line of people walking down the path away from me. They were dressed in dark business suits. I focused on one man, who seemed pudgy and had blond hair. I realized that he was the president. A woman in a reddish dress was walking at the front of the line of people. She had changed her escape this time, and i had accidentally caught up with them. I realized that the men would be following me. I could not lead them this way, so i turned around and ran back. I wondered if i would be able to make it down the long corridor to the west before they caught up to me. I ran behind the building to the south of me, stopping on the western side of it. The top of the stairs was to the northwest of me, and i was walking on a narrow strip of ground along the side of the building. I looked down at the brown powdery dirt on the ground as i moved toward the edge to the south. Thick wooden beams held the dirt against the building to the west, forming the top of the retaining wall that was to the east of the long flight of cement steps. The beams to the south topped a tall wall that ran along the northern side of an alley, which was about ten meters below me. I looked over the edge to the south, seeing two men come out of the building to the south. They pushed open the white metal door in the eastern end of the alley. The alley ended to the east on a white building, and a second white building was joined to the first, forming the southern side of the courtyard. The men were the bad guys, and i could not let them see me. I backed away from the edge and looked down at the dirt again. I could see my footprints in the soft dry dirt. I thought that they would be able to follow me. I would have to lead them in some other direction. I wondered what i should do. I then heard the men shouting to each other. The man by the door said that the politicians had fled down the long corridor the last time. I could hear the second man acknowledging the first. They both turned back and ran into the corridor. I was safe for a little while, but i had to get out of this area. I felt uncertain about what to do. I looked up at the large brown building to the west of me, on the other side of the stairs. It was a college building, and i thought that i would be able to run into it. I then remembered that it was locked, but i thought it might still be open on this side. I ran to the building, stopping in font of the double glass doors. I was now in a corridor that ran to the north. I looked at the double glass doors, which had thick metal frames and a metallic bar across the middle. I could see shelfs and trophies to the west. The door was locked, so i would not be able to get into the enclosure. I ran down the hall to the north, thinking that i could exit the building to the north instead. I came out of the building and turned to the west, running down the sidewalk. I wondered where the bad men were. As i passed the western end of the building, i looked to the south. I was still above the level of the drive to the south of the building, but the elevation difference was not as significant. Round metal poles supported a tent or canvas awning, and it filled a conical area to the west of the building. People were gathered in the shade of the red material, sitting at tables. Many children were running between the tables, and i knew that this was a family event. I worried that the gunmen might come into the crowd of people and start shooting. They would be after me, so i could not let them see me. I did not want to interrupt the people at the festivity, because i felt that they would know that i did not belong there. I had to get out of sight. I continued to the west, looking for some place to hide. I knew that the party under tent was an event for children. Several of them ran across the wide paved path between the tent and the other structure to the west. Poles also seemed to support the structure to the west, but the ceiling seemed sturdier. I realized that children were racing from the structure to the north on a looping asphalt track. They must be running some kind of race. I could not see into the structure because a wooden mesh covered the eastern end. I rounded the northern side of the eastern wall, looking into the open area underneath. A paved path led directly toward me from the southwestern corner of the area. It turned just before me and headed to the northwest. I saw two young men in red vehicles riding up the path toward me. Small animals were towing the small vehicles. The white one towing the boy in the center of the road seemed to be a small skinny dog, but the second child on the southern side of the road seemed to be towed by a chicken. I moved quickly to the south to get out of the road and let the vehicles pass. A wall was just to the south of the road, though, and a patch of grass about two decis was all i had to walk on. I realized that i could hide here and be out of sight of the men. They would not look for me in this confusion. I flopped down on the grass, cross-legged. I was carrying my blue backpack over my right shoulder, and i adjusted it so that it was move over my back and not hanging over my side. I was trying to keep it out of the roadway. Several other cars then ran past me. I then noticed an adult man sitting in a chair directly to the west of me. He was sitting at the sharp corner in the road, watching the cars come east and pass me. He pointed at me, and i realized that he was telling me to move my backpack farther out of the road. I adjusted it again to keep it out of the way of the racers.

I carried the box down the hall of the old building, heading east. The building was run down, and it had the appearance of being abandoned, but i knew that it was an active clinic. The white walls seemed dingy with age, and the white ceiling tiles were yellowing. I felt anxious here, thinking that i had to be somewhere. I walked down the long hallway, contemplating something to the north in the building. I exited the building, thinking about the people i had just left. They seemed like $G3, but there were only a few of them. I came out into the parking lot, and i turned to the south. My car had been parked in the lot for a long time, and it seemed like it was now early in the morning. The sun was up, though, and the sun seemed to be to the southwest, behind the building. A large black SUV was parked in the first spot to the south of the door, facing west. My car seemed to be the one just to the south of it. Several other cars were in the small lot, all parked along the building. A large leafy tree to the north seemed to shade the northern part of the lot. I put the cardboard box of things into my car. The driver’s door was open on the SUV, and i was standing next to it. I seemed to be doing something in the SUV. I then noticed the cell phone on the ground outside the car. It was inside a small plastic case, and it seemed to be soaking in water. I picked it up, thinking that someone must have dropped it. I wondered why they would have kept the cell phone in a case of water. I thought that i could turn on the phone and try to call someone, thinking that the owner might answer. I moved to the northeast, now in a house. I looked at the phone, noticing that the screen filled with pixelated graphics. This phone also seemed to be an old gaming device. The game looked like an old Nintendo adventure game. I felt uneasy about taking the cell phone. I thought about how i had taken it out of the white plastic bin on the driver’s floor of the car. I wondered why i had taken it. I should have left it there. It would have been easier to contact the owner from the car. I paced around the kitchen of the house as i looked at the cell phone, feeling uneasy and wondering what to do. A peninsula counter extended from the northern wall and ran just to the east of me. I leaned on it as i looked at the green and blue graphics on the phone. The phone then started ringing. I answered, and an older man spoke. I asked him about the owner of the cell phone. I felt very bad for taking the phone.

I stood on the western side of the building with the others. We seemed to be attending some kind of event, but the event had just ended. We were standing in a room with a large glass window to the west of us, but we also seemed to be standing under a roof on a patio or terrace on the western side of the building. We could see the open flat land to the west, which seemed to be Alumni Fields. The long rectangular field of cut green grass stretched to the west, with a row of thick leafy trees running along the northern side. The central part of campus was beyond the filed, and i could see some of the white cubical buildings on the western end of the field. The sky seemed very open from where we stood, and i could see the billowing clouds filling the sky. The clouds started light gray near the top of my view, and turned nearly black as they reached the horizon. A storm was coming. As i watched, a flash of lightning arched from a medium gray section of the clouds to the dark section at the bottom. It flashed with an orangish hue. I felt uneasy, thinking that we had to get to somewhere to the west. I told the others that we would have to head west to get somewhere before the storm came. I did not think that we had enough time to do so. We would have to stay out of the rain. The people had already started to leave the event, and they seemed tense as the storm approached. I worried about getting to where we had to go. I talked to the others, thinking about underground tunnels that might lead between the buildings of the college campus.

I had been running the race with the others. We were running toward the finish line, and we ran into a corridor formed by two ropes, which were held up by metal poles. The finish line was just in front of us. I passed the first line, which was at the western end of the poles. A man was running in front of me, and another man was just behind me, to the northwest of me. An official was at the second finish line, which was at the end of the corridor, and a second one was standing to the north of the ropes. As we got into the middle of the gate, the man to the east told us to stop, so we halted in place in the corridor. Someone had just passed through the finish line, so the people running the race had to take time to process the information. We had to wait for them to take our numbers. The scene changed, then. I was jogging to the northeast in the campus area. I was with a few other people, and we were following a path that ran northeast and then curved gently to the north. The path seemed to run along the eastern curve of a large pond, which was to the north of me. This was on the northeastern side of the campus, and a golf course or open field area was to the east of the path, to the northeast of us. I jogged slowly with the others, but my shoes did not feel right. I stopped, tipping my foot forward while keeping my toe on the ground. The top of the shoe was folding strangely and rubbing against the top of my foot. I decided that the white sneakers that i was wearing were not right. Annoyed, i turned back to the southwest to head back to the gym. I would have to change my shoes. I was then at the finish line again, waiting to proceed. The man to the east of us signaled that we should continue, so i ran across the final line at the end of the gates. I then realized that i had not taken a ticket from the man at the first gate. I would have to get a ticket so that the man could check my time in. I felt frustrated. As i came to a stop at the finish line, said something to the man about not having a ticket. I pulled something from around my waist to show the man, but my pants came off. I was naked underneath. The man looked away and smiled. I apologized for flashing him, and i tried to cover myself up.

12018 April 09

I stood on the western side of the lawyer’s office. The female lawyer was sitting in the center of the eastern side of the table, facing west. A man sat to the south of her on the table, and two other lawyers were sitting on the western side of the table, facing here. Something was happening, and the lawyers seemed urgent as they discussed something. I felt uncomfortable, thinking that i had something to do here. I knew that the lead female lawyer was trying to do a secret deal with the others. She sat very tall on the eastern side of the table. She had a round face and short black hair. I was now outside of the room, looking at them through the glass window. Wooden frames held the large rectangular windows in place in the glass wall. I pulled on the door to the office, but i could not get in. I realized that i might not be allowed in the office at this time. I had to do something so that the man did not find out what the lawyers were up to. I walked to the north down the hall and turned to the east near the northern side of the building. The room was crowded with people, and i felt nervous, thinking that i had to do something. I moved to the east, coming into a smaller office with a counter running along the northern side of the corridor, separating the office from the corridor. I had to do something. I entered a small room from the west. Several people were sitting around the office in chairs. They seemed like media reporters. I had to make a telephone call. I moved to the northern side of the office, focusing on the pale-tan plastic telephone that was on the table. Several other telephones like it were around the room on other tables, near the reporters. No one seemed to be talking on the phones, though. I looked down at the buttons on the face of the phone. I remembered using this type of telephone a long time ago. They seemed antiquated, but i knew that i had to use them now. I picked up the receiver and tried to dial, but i was not sure i remembered how to use them. I wondered if i had to press a special number to transfer out of the office. I then wondered what i needed to do to transfer a call on them. I stared at the telephone for a moment, and then i moved to the north. I was in a large warehouse, which was a store. I felt that i should not be in here unaccompanied, but i headed down the aisle to the north anyway. I looked at the items stacked on the tall wooden shelfs. This store seemed like a used-item store, and the aisles around me seemed to be filled with furnishings. I felt nervous as i approached the northern wall. I thought that someone might ask why i was here. I focused on the items on the shelfs to the north of me. I seemed to be looking for something, but i was not sure what. I turned to the west down the last aisle, looking at the furniture on the shelfs. I did not need any furniture, so i moved on. At the end of the isle, i turned to the south. A man was looking at things to the south of me. He was facing south. I said hello to him as i approached. He was standing just to the north of a square counter, looking at several square patches of something in his hands. The things looked like patches of cloth, but they also seemed like wooden floor tiles. I moved to the west of the man, asking him something. He was Robert DiNero, and he said something about the wooden tile that he was holding in his right hand. It was not quite the correct one, but he thought he would use it. One of the other tiles seemed to be white fabric with a circular gray starburst pattern on it. The tiles looked like mosaics. I turned to the west and continued moving around the store. I was searching for something, but i was not sure what. The area to the west seemed like a restaurant. I moved to the west, finding myself outside the building and in a city. $G4 was running with me in this area. I continued down the cobblestone path until i reached the round fountain area. I ran around the northeastern side of the fountain, not sure where i should go. The fountain was a wide cement pool with a rounded fountain in the center. I paused, not sure where i was heading. I felt uncomfortable, so i turned around and headed back to the east. Was i in this city to see it? I felt that i had not seen it yet. I headed up the hill, feeling that it was getting hard to jog. I was then in the corridor. Something was bothering me.

12018 April 12

I moved to the north in the large house. The house seemed old and lived in, but it felt new to me. This was where i was living. I could hear the strong wind blowing outside, and i saw the curtains on the three windows in the northern wall waving from side to side. I had left the windows open throughout the house because it had been nice outside. I then realized that it was much colder now, so i should have shut the windows. I thought that the heater was still on, so the cold air would be taking the heat from the house. I could hear the wind rushing against the eastern side of the house. I walked to the north to close the windows. When i reached the center window, i realized that the windows here were not open. I wondered why the curtains would have been blowing if the windows were not open. I turned to the east and headed down the eastern wall of the house. I now seemed to be in a room in the middle of the house. I kept listening to the sound of the wind. The air in the house felt fresh and cool, but i could not find any windows that were open. I walked to the southwest, diagonally across a room, which seemed like a large kitchen. Counters were along the eastern side of the room. I headed toward the windows with the green wooden frames that were in the southern end of the eastern wall. I could still hear the wind blowing. I also heard people outside the house to the northwest. I knew that people would be coming to the house. Just before i reached the southeastern corner of the room, i heard the doorbell ring. I headed back to the northern side of the house. The front door was in the western side of the northern end of the house. I opened the door and stepped out onto the narrow wooden porch. The porch was really a narrow bridge that arched over the canal just to the north of the house. I could see an older heavy-set man just under the bridge on the western side. The bridge ran north over the narrow canal, which seemed to be part of a swimming pool. The canal seemed to open up into a larger pool with tiled walls, just to the west. Other houses in this area were around the pool and canals, and this place seemed to be in a warm climate, like Florida. The heavy-set man with thinning black hair was chatting with someone that was standing to the north of him. He seemed to be a neighbor. I did not think that he was the person who had ringed the bell. I looked across the bridge, which sloped steeply down to the north on the other side of the canal. I could see people walking from the west down a walkway toward the entrance to the bridge. My view of them was obscured once they reached the lower end of the bridge, though. The bridge was blocking most of my view. I stepped out onto the wooden platform and looked down at the four people as they stood in front of the wooden gate at the entrance to the bridge. They had ringed the bell to the house. I said hello to them. A woman in the ground greeted me and asked if i was the president. I felt uneasy. I was the president, but i did not want too many people around here to know. I told the people that this was my house, and they seemed satisfied with the answer. I turned and headed back to the south, inviting the four people in. They seemed to be selling something. We sat down at the long rectangular table in the dining room of the house, which seemed to be in the southeastern corner of the lower floor. I sat on the western end of the northern side of the table, and a man sat just to the east of me. A woman stood across the table from him, on the southern side of the table. The man started talking about a new theater he was setting up in Fall Creek. I thought about the other theaters in the area and thought that it would be a good idea to set up another place were actors could put on shows. I told him that i had heard about the theater, and i thought of a community theater that was in that area. A was suspicious of what the man was proposing, though. There were many theaters in town, but few of them had opportunities for community actors. I wondered if he really wanted to start a new community theater or if he just wanted to run another commercial theater. I was not interested in another company making money off of the area. One of the other people at the table then mentioned cinema, and i realized that they might be talking about a movie theater. I knew that several local cinemas were downtown already, so i did not understand why they wanted to start another. I mentioned the independent theaters in the town and asked them what was different about their theater. I did not know why they wanted my help, and i wanted them to tell me rather than continue with the sales pitch.

12018 April 13

I entered the large old theater, heading to the east. I walked through the door and nodded to the man who seemed to be checking tickets. He was standing to the southeast of the doorway as people came in. As i passed him, i thought that he did not bother to ask me if i had a ticket. I did not have a ticket; i was just entering the building to do something. I did not want to watch a movie here. The man must have assumed that i had a ticket from before and was just reentering the theater. The large open room seemed to be an old vaudeville theater that had been adapted to a cinema, or maybe just an old meeting building that was being used to show films on special occasions. I stopped at the edge of the audience. The wooden chairs in the room faced south, and most of them seemed to be to the northeast of where i was. I realized that the people in the front rows of the audience, which seemed very small, were dressed in costumes from Star Wars. A model of R2-D2 and another droid stood near a woman, who was sitting in one of the front chairs of the northern section of the audience. A short wooden wall separated the front row from the aisle that crossed the room east to west. I did not want to see the Star War movie, so i headed to the north, where i knew a second theater was. I was actually not interested in any of the movies that were showing her. I had come to this building to meet someone. I stopped at the northern edge of the seating, looking to the north. The white plaster wall of the room had woodwork across the upper part. The panels did not seem to go all the way to the high ceiling, and they had vertical wooden beams separating the panels. The building seemed old and familiar. I thought about a cafe that seemed to be somewhere to the north, on the other side of the wall. I pictured the cafe at a slightly lower level than where i was now, and it was just beyond the wall and to the west. I imagined it as a large open room with thick square columns at regular intervals. It looked like an old cafeteria. I thought that i could hang out there and do things. I then realized that a movie had started on the small screen to the east of me. I was now in a smaller theater to the north of the main one. This was where the less-popular movies were shown. A young man was standing to the east of me. He turned to me and said something about the movie. I looked up at the screen to the east. Basketball players were moving around the screen. The movie had something to do with the game. Two young dark-skinned men were on the screen. I knew that the movie was about them. It then occurred to me that the movie had an ethnic theme, which seemed awkward to me. I looked around the room as the young man to the east of me told me excitedly about the movie. I looked again at the movie screen, which now seemed to be on the black northern wall of the small room. The scene was different, and the graphics looked more like a video game that a movie. The basketball player was in the foreground, and he seemed to be battling a creature in the background, on the right side of the screen. The dark clouds in the background of the black plain were tinted with red. The boy who had been playing basketball now had special powers, and red bolts of lightning ran from his hands toward the bad guy. I was not interested in the movie, though. Something to the west kept distracting me, and i felt that i had to leave the cinema. I moved north, into the small bedroom of the building. A raised area was on the western side of the rectangular room, which was long north to south. Windows seemed to be in the western and northern walls. I moved north, feeling that i should be talking to the people outside. I had something to do here. I looked out the windows to the west, catching glimpses of someone. The people seemed to be talking to one another, thought they seemed to be in different places on the street. I could not fully see the people, but they seemed to be dressed in dark clothing. The area of the old city around me seemed foreign. The buildings were tan and cubical. They had terraced levels and reminded me of Italia. I had to do something, and it seemed to have something to do with the conversations i could hear from outside. I was not sure what i should do.

12018 April 16

I was driving my car to the east down the country roads. I seemed to be driving parallel to a main road, which seemed to be a ways to the north of me. I remembered coming down this road not so long ago. I remembered driving with someone else over the dirt road between the small towns, but i thought that the section of road that i was on now did not quite seem like the section of road that i was on before. I looked around at the land as i drove now. Everything was covered with snow. It had been green when i was on this road not so long ago. I had to be careful driving because the road was covered with a few inches of packed snow. A car passed my on the left, heading to the west. After the other car passed to the north of me, i seemed to be driving down the center of the road. I could not see the road under the snow, and only two tire tracks were visible. I spotted the pair of sunglasses in the road ahead of me. I had just dropped them, and i leaned to the south to pick them up. They seemed to be moving with me or i seemed to be moving very slowly, but the landscape was moving quickly past me. I scooped up the glasses, catching them by the folder arms as i drove. I thought that it would seem very coordinated of me to have grabbed them so easily. I put them back in the car and down the road. I then approached an intersection where another road ran off to the north. As i passed the intersection, a car passed to the north of me in the other lane. I realized that the road to the north was the road i had been on before. We had come down that road and turned to the west to travel on the road i was now taking. This was now the road that i had remembered from before. The road curved to the northeast and then back to the east. When it curved to the northeast again, i noticed wooden stakes along the southeastern side of the road. I realized that the road had been under construction. I could now see newly laid cement on the surface of the road. It was clean and smooth. I followed the curve until i was facing north, and then the road started curving back to the east. I stared at the cement as i followed the curve of the road to the east, noticing the shiny black areas on the side where asphalt had been laid down. I seemed to be turning the corner for a while as i watched the curving grooves in the cement. I was then aware of the gravel parking lot on the northern side of the curve, just before the road started going to the east again. This was where the race was supposed to start. I remembered it from before. People were already gathering for the race. I looked up the steep hill to the north-northwest as i turned to the east in the parking lot. A man was greeting two women just to the northeast of me. The man seemed to be a race official, and the women were asking directions on where to go. The women asked about the slope, and the man said something about the construction in the area. He said that the slope was all part of the raceway. I looked up the hill to the north-northwest. A wide swath of forested land had recently been cleared to make way for the raceway. I knew that we would be riding down the paved slope at some point in the future. I could see bright lights of the buildings at the top of the hill. The lights were shining down the hill at the moment, but i could see many people moving near them. I thought that the other racers were gathering at the top of the hill. I turned my attention back to the southeast. I was trying to drive back onto the road, but i had to go around the large tan camper that was parked across the eastern end of the gravel parking lot. I headed to the east of the camper, but realized that the camper was too close to the eastern edge of the parking lot. The land to the east of the gravel lot dropped off suddenly, so i would not be able to drive around the camper that way. Annoyed, i tried to back up to turn around. I had to be careful of the man and two women to the north of me. I backed my car to the south so that my front end was facing north. I looked in my rearview mirror to make sure that i was not close to the camper. To my annoyance, and old man was now walking very slowly behind me. He had short white hair and hunched as he slowly moved to the west. I had to wait for him to get out from behind me so that i did not hit him. I finally turned to the west and drove around the western side of the camper. People seemed to be on the main road now. I reached the road and turned to the northeast to continue up the road. Tall people had been standing in the lot to the north of me, and i was aware of the tall people to the southeast of me as i turned onto the road. Their bodies were very tall and skinny, seeming out of proportion. I realized that one of them was $A717. I greeted him as i started pedaling my bicycle down the road. I was part of the race now, and he was one of the people who would be racing. He continued walking to the east on the road with the other tall people, and i rode my bicycle up the road. A narrow dirt road ran to the north, up the hill. I was aware of someone with me, to the east of me, as i road. He seemed to be $A717. I said something to him as i followed the other racers on bicycles. We then turned to the northwest, leaving the road and following the trail up the hill. This was the start of the trail part of the race. I commented to $Z, who was following me now. The trail curved sharply to the southwest, but i headed up the dirt slope to the west-northwest. I told $Z that i would take the other trail because it was more direct. I could see several of the bicyclers on the trail up the hill from me, to the southwest. I was then aware that the trail i was on crossed a narrow rill in the hill. The dirt in the center of the rill was gravely, and i thought that i could easily slide to the north, down the steep slope. I was glad that my tires did not slide, and i continued on to the west. I talked about the trail with the others as i continued. We turned to the south, and i was walking up a set of stairs on the western side of an old building. The building seemed like a rustic lodge, with horizontal wood planks on the walls. The stairwell was dimly lighted, and i knew that our room was to the south at the top. I then turned to the west to show the others the map that i had. We were now standing in the small hotel room that we had rented for the race. $F4 was to the east of me. He was interested to see the trail that i was talking about on the map. I pointed out the loop that was on the lower part of the map. The map showed a long narrow loop running east to west across the bottom of the map. We had started on a short length of trail that ran to the southwest from the western end of the loop, where the loop narrowed. We had then taken the loop to the east, coming back on the upper part. Numbers marked progressive lengths along the loop, and the ninth mark was on the top part of the loop just before it reached the western end. I could see that ten was on the lower part of the loop again. I looked at the entire map. The outside loop was roughly rectangular, with rounded corners. The narrow loop ran across the bottom part of it, taking up less than a quarter of the vertical height of the full loop. Two north-to-south trails ran across the large loop, cutting the area roughly into thirds. After we did the lower loop, we would have to do another part of the loop. I felt rushed, thinking that we had to get back to the race. We had only come here to get some things between laps. I moved to the west, walking to the southwestern corner of the large bed. The entry door to the room was to the east of me, at the end of a short corridor that ran from the southern wall of the room. The large bed extended from the eastern wall, just to the north of the corridor. Others were to the north of me in the room, and $F4 seemed to be sitting on the edge of the bed with his right leg folded in front of him on the bed and his left leg on the floor. I crouched down to tie my running shoes, which i had just put on. The laces seemed like thick nylon twine. I tied them, but i had almost a meter of lace at the end. I would have to do something with it. I stood up, holding the ends of the laces in my left hand. I told the others that we would have to go. I headed to the east, into the hallway. We had to get back to the bicycle part of the race. The others followed me out of the room, and i headed to the north, down the hallway. I was then aware that i could not hear the others following me closely. I wanted them to hurry, so i continued to the north. I remembered being at this festival before. I thought that the main gathering area was to the northeast of us, and that i would have to take the hallway to the east. The hall i was in seemed to end just past a doorway to the north of me. The hall seemed to have a small seating area to the east of it and a window that looked down over the stairs or over a roof to the west. I was annoyed that the others were not close behind me. I thought about the officials of the festival again as i approached the door. I then noticed tiny elephant on the floor just to the south of the door. It faced west, and it was sniffing something on the ground. It stood about a half meter tall, and its trunk curled up in a tight spiral in front of its face. I thought about petting it, but i felt frustrated with the others. I turned around and was annoyed to see that no one was in the hall behind me. I knew that they had come out of the room. They must have gone down the stairs, thinking that the gathering room was there. I was sure that it was not. I started to the south for a moment. $F16 then leaned to the east, poking his head out from the stairwell. He wore a green jacket. He said “Oh, there you are.” as he looked at me and then moved back into the stairwell to tell the others that i was on the upper floor. I turned back to the north and then turned east in the next corridor. I then realized that i was still carrying the dark-red garden hose in my left hand. I felt annoyed that i had taken it out of the room. I should have left it there. I would now have to leave it somewhere while i competed in the race. The corridor opened up into a long room on the northern side. I turned to the north in the western part of the room. A square counter was against the western wall of the room, and people were sitting in seats to the north of it. A square padded mat was on the floor to the northeast of the counter. It looked like a red wrestling mat. Some of the folding chairs to the northeast of it were facing the mat, and an older bald man was sitting in one of the chairs. He sat quietly, leaning his elbows on his knees as he watched people to the west and southwest of him. I had to put my things somewhere, and i thought that i could toss them against the western wall to the north of the small square counter. I headed to the east, wondering where to put my other things. My grandmother was with me now. She said that she would sit in one of the seats on the front row of the audience. Five or six rows of seats faced south and stretched across the eastern half of the long room. A long counter was set into the northern wall, and people seemed to be serving things from behind it. I told my grandmother that i would put my things in the seat on the eastern end of the front row, where she said that she had wanted to sit. As i headed for the front row, though, i noticed that several people were already sitting there. I stopped to the south of the row, in the southern side of the room, which seemed to be the main east-to-west corridor. Chubby women were sitting in every other seat across the eastern end of the front row. I started to put my things down in one of the seats between two of them, but then hesitated. I was not sure that my grandmother would want to sit between the women. The women had fuzzy hair and brightly colored shirts. The one on the west had a bright orange or red top with darker spots on it. She had large breasts and a rounded belly. I looked up to ask my grandmother if she wanted to go to a different seat, but she had already headed to the north. She had said that she was going to get a cup of coffee. She stood at the counter in the northern wall, waiting to be served. I could see a man to the east of her doing something and talking to the man behind the counter. My grandmother was wearing a bright pink sweater. I felt frustrated, thinking that she would be a while. I had to leave to start the race again, and i had to put my things down. I finally asked the women in the chairs if anyone was sitting in the chairs between them. The middle woman pointed to the chair to the west of her and said that her husband would be sitting there. Annoyed, i headed back to the west. I wondered if my things were still against the western wall. I stopped at the southeastern corner of the red mat and looked to the west. I could still see the red garden hose tossed on the floor in loose loops. I had to leave with the others to start the race, and i did not want to wait any longer.

12018 April 19

I looked to the south, out the small square window, which seemed to be a picture. I could see the small stone building on the steep grassy slope below me. The building was cubical and made of thick blocks of gray stone. I thought that it had some special significance, like a temple or mausoleum. It was partially set into the short green grass of the hillside, and a narrow brown domed corridor extended from the southern face of it. The walls of the corridor seemed to be in two-meter segments, with vertical walls and a pointed arching roof. The corridor curved to the west and ran out of my view. I could see a long arc of corridor just to the south of the first section, though, just a little way down the hill. I knew that the corridor curved in a large spiral loop. It was like a meditational labyrinth. It was designed like this because it was part of a special place. I felt very interested in the building. I moved to the south, stopping at the glass door in the southern wall of the house. I had been looking out the window that faced south in a room to the east of where i was. I came into the central room of the small house and headed south, toward the exit. Beyond the glass door was a hallway that ran east to west along the front of the house. Across the hall from the door i was looking through, however, was another glass door that looked into a small room. The room was very clean and neat, and it seemed to be decorated in tan with red and black patterns. The shag carpet seemed to have tan and dark-green squares that were outlined in black. I thought that the room was in the small stone building that i had seen. It was the uppermost part of the maze of rooms and corridors that descended the slope. I wanted to go look at it, but i felt hesitant. I was visiting this house, and i did not think that i should simply be looking around, as I wanted. I felt excited to see it, though. I opened the door and stepped into the corridor. As i let the glass door close behind me, i heard a door to the west close. About four or five meters to the west was another set of doors. The door to the north led into the western side of the house that i had been in, and the door to the south seemed to lead outside. I thought that someone must have gone out the door to the south. I turned my attention back to the south of me, opening the glass door and entering the small room. The room was scale-shaped, with a flat northern wall and a curved southern wall. A chair with a similar shape was in the center of the small room, leaving about two meters of clearance around the chair. Two scale-shaped holes in the floor, one on either side of the chair, led down to the next set of buildings. I imagined the steep stairs descending through the covered corridors that i had seen out the first window. I was excited to see the other building, and i moved toward the windows in the curved southern wall. As i moved around the western side of the chair, i looked down into the darkness of the stairwell on the western side of the floor. I could only see a faint hint of the stairs, but i knew that they led to the next building. I carefully stepped over the hole and moved to the window. I then heard the sound of a car. I knew that my mother was arriving here, so i moved to one of the eastern windows. I could see a parking lot not that far below me, running up against the building. Trees ran along the eastern side of the lot, and the long rectangular lot ran to the south form the building. A car came from the south-southwest and stopped about three meters from the building. It was a long dark-gray car that looked like a small sedan. I looked at the other cars in the lot. Most were parked in rows that ran to the south: one row against the eastern edge, one down the center, and one on the western side. The lot narrowed near the building, though, so the cars were parked facing more or less north. I looked down through the windshield of the dark-gray car and could see my mother doing something. She seemed to be reading a white thing in her left hand. I then wondered how the parking lot could be here when the corridors ran from the building i was in to the other special buildings.

12018 April 21

I moved to the east in the small room, getting something from the metal refrigerator, which was against the northern wall of the room. $F12 was to the west of me. He was talking to me about the woman that i had killed. He knew that i had accidentally killed the woman and that i had hidden the body. I felt bad about doing it, and he was trying to use his knowledge to coerce me into doing something for him. He mentioned what i should do for him, threatening that he would tell the authorities what i had done. I felt very bad, wondering what i should do. $F12 seemed very threatening, and i felt that he was being mean to me. I wandered a little way to the east. Then something happened. I could hear $F12 talking to the west of me again. Someone had walked to the east. I knew that it was the woman that $F12 had been dating. He now seemed like $F1, and he was talking on the telephone with someone as he angrily left the room through the doorway in the western end of the northern wall. He told the other person how the woman had left him and spent all of his money. He seemed very angry with her. I felt glad that he was distracted, but i still did not feel good that he was threatening me.

I got into the large bus and tried to back it into the parking space. I had been driving the large bus around. It was a new vehicle for me. I pictured the long silver vehicle to the south of me as i looked in the rearview mirror to see what was behind me. The bus seemed like a passenger bus, but i had been using it as some kind of camper. I then thought that it was strange that i was driving a bus. I knew that i had been driving the bus to work, and it seemed like a waste of gas to do so. I wondered why i would have a bus. I really wanted a smaller van.

12018 April 22

I entered the cafeteria from the west and walked along the northern side. I had expected the other college students to be here, but the room was fairly empty. I realized that i must be early. I thought that i could get a seat at one of the tables and wait for the others to join me. $F4 seemed to be one of the others that would come to this place. A long metal service counter stretched along the northern wall of the room. I turned to the south on the eastern side of the room and walked to a table. The rectangular tables had white plastic surfaces and were arranged at an angle from northeast to southwest. The first table in the row was full of people, so i walked south to the second. I started to put my things on the southeastern side of the second table, but then i realized that a man was sitting on the northwestern side of the table. He wore a black T-shirt and seemed skinny. He had chin-length straight black hair. I decided that i should not sit at the table with him because i was expecting others to come join me. I knew that my friends, who seemed to be part of $G4, would be coming to the table. $F4 seemed to be one of them. I walked to the next table to the south, which seemed triangular in shape. I took off my black peacoat and hung it over the back of a chair on the southeastern side of the table. Some other people were then on the western side of the table. They seemed to be people that i knew. The students were now coming into the cafeteria. I said something to the people to the west as i put my fleece vest over the back of the chair with my jacket. Two people then came toward the table from the north. They were wearing large animal costume heads over their heads, and they jumped and skipped as they ran toward us. They said something to the people at the table, and then one of them bounced backward into me. He turned and hugged me. They amused me. The second man in a mask moved to the east of me and hugged me from behind. I tried to laugh at their antics. We then fell to the east. I fell backward, onto the thin man behind me. He was wearing a tan suit jacket and a thin black tie over a white shirt. As i landed on the ground, i wondered suddenly if the students knew that i was much older than they were. I sat up with them and then stood up. They moved off. I headed back toward the table to the west of me, but the table was no longer there. I felt suddenly upset. I looked to the northwest to see that two women were placing their trays on the northwestern side of a table. They were staring at me. One of the women was tall and thin, wearing a short tight dress. She had East Asian features and long straight black hair. I felt uncomfortable here, but i wanted my things back. I had placed my backpack by my chair and my coat over the chair. Both were missing. I looked around, trying to figure out where they had gone. The others had taken the table i was trying to save, but i did not see my things anywhere. I moved around, not sure what to do.

12018 April 23

The doctor to the north of me had taken a sample from me: either a blood or urine sample. He started talking about it, and i looked to the northwest as he held out a piece of paper in his left hand. I seemed to be sitting on the lower bed of a bunk bed on the western side of the room. The room was dimly lighted, and the wall to the brown wall to the north had dark shadows across it. The doctor told me about the sample that he had taken, and i started to feel suspicious. I looked at the chart that he had in his hand. He said that it had something to do with a drug test. A diagonal line ran from lower left to the upper right on the paper. The doctor was trying to match the slope of the chart with the shadow that was being cast from the window in the southern wall. The slope of the shadow from the window, however, was sloping from upper left to lower right. I wanted to tell him that he did not have a match to the addiction that he was accusing me of having. He adjusted the chart in his hands, turning it over. I thought that it would match the slope of the shadow if it was turned around, but, after he turned the chart, it still did not match the shadow of on the wall. I moved a little to the east, looking at the charts. Another doctor was now to the east of me, wearing a white lab coat. He was looking at the chart that was now on the northern wall. I realized that the white northern wall was covered with several crooked lines. I had only seen the one on the western end of the wall. I could now see a large cluster of lines in the center of the wall. The doctors moved to the lines, trying to match them to the graph that he was holding. They talked among themselves about the patterns. The lines in the cluster came in many different forms: some single lines, some lines with branching lines. None of them matched the graph that the doctor was looking at. I noticed a small square table against the northern wall, just under the cluster of shapes. It had several glass cylinders and jars of different substances on it. They all represented addictive substances. The doctors were then near the eastern end of the northern wall. A single line was on the northern wall, a few meters from the other markings. One of the doctors held up the chart and said that the symbol on the wall matched my addiction. I felt annoyed with him, thinking that i did not have an addiction. I wondered if they were making up problems for me to have so that they had something to fix. I walked over to the eastern end of the wall. A small square table was under the symbol, and i looked down at the contents of it. Writing on the wall over the symbol named the addiction, and the doctor said that it was “hexatetraol”. I was not sure what this was. It sounded like a hydrocarbon, and i imagined it like benzine. I felt skeptical of the doctor’s findings, and i asked him what the substance was that he was claiming i was addicted to. He repeated the name of the substance. Frustrated, i asked what kind of drug it was. I wanted to know if it was a stimulant, depressant, or psychedelic. He said something else about the substance, not really answering my question. I thought about the substance for a moment, and then i started talking to someone about it. The scene changed, and i was talking to my parents as i drove the car to the north. I talked about this area. It was foggy out, and i could see the thick trees hanging over the sides of the road as we headed down the long country road. I focused on steering the car. I then realized that i was in the back seat of the car. I had to look around the silhouette of the person sitting in the driver’s seat in front of me. I leaned to the left and then to the right until i could get a clear view of the road. I felt a little uncomfortable driving the car from here. I did not think that i had enough control of the car. I thought that i would have to move to the driver’s seat. My mother, who was in the passenger’s seat, said something about the area around us. I knew that we were driving between areas within the large city. We seemed to be driving from the city center through a large residential area to another part of the dense city. This city seemed like Albany. I was not really sure where we were, though. I then saw the black and white road sign saying that we were on route 13. I said that this was the correct road, and i focused on driving. I tried to picture the area in my head, trying to figure out where we were in the city area.

I stood on the southern side of the small theater, facing north. Other actors were on the short stage to the north of me, practicing for the play. The man to the west of me handed me a script, and i looked at it as i held it in my right hand to the north of me. The man seemed to be $A735. I was supposed to be part of this Shakespeare play, but i felt unprepared for it. I was not quite sure what i could do. I looked at the script in my hand, flipping through several pages. Most of the lines in the script were covered with white paint. I felt more comfortable having a script with me, knowing that i could use it to remember my lines. I then realized that only my lines were not covered with white paint in the script. I wondered how i would know when my line was to be said. It seemed strange. I would not be able to follow the others in the play because i could not remember my line. I felt confused and unsure. I looked for lines in the book that i recognized. I was only doing technical things for the play, but i would have to know where to do what i was supposed to do. I only had a few days before the show. Nervous about what i was doing, i flipped through the pages of the script to find my lines.

I rode my bicycle to the north, into the residential area. I pictured the area as a large housing complex, with looping roads. The land seemed to dip down a little to the north-northwest of where i was, and i pictured the road traveling along the eastern side of the depression and looping to the west just to the north of it. The loop seemed almost triangular, with the hypotenuse on the northwestern side. The others were walking down the dirt road, heading to the north. $F72 seemed to be one of them. Just before i reached them, i turned to the east on another road. I pictured this road making a loop to the north as well. I could not see the houses in this forested area, but i knew that they should be there. The pale-green trees here seemed short and thin. I followed the dirt road about twenty-five meters to the east before it turned sharply to the north. I tried to picture the housing-complex layout to the north of me. I could hear music in my mind as i rode. The voices were singing lyrics in a multipart harmony. It sounded very familiar; i knew the song, and i started to imagine the lyrics along with it. The singers then got to a point in the song where the lyrics mentioned something about failing coordination. At this point, the singers sang the appropriate word slightly out of synch with each other. I had always though that this instance was intentionally done to stress the meaning of the word. I then heard a voice in the back of the recording make a humming sound, and i imagined it was the musicians realizing that the mistake they had just made worked well with the word. They had contemplated the error as they recorded, and decided to keep the error. I could picture the four musicians’ faces as they sang the harmonies. The man with dark hair was low and to the left, with one above and to the right of him and a second farther to the right. The fourth seemed to be to the left. The band seemed to be Queen. The road had curved to the west and then back to the north. I was just turning to the north as i thought about the band. Others were near me now. I thought that it was time to leave this area, so i turned back to the south and headed down the dirt road, thinking that it would lead me out of the housing complex. I came into the booth on the southern side of the store. The wall of the store was open, and the glass booth seemed to be on a sidewalk, facing the street. The northern wall of the booth was made of glass, and it was tinted with yellow opaque coloring. Rain was falling on the sidewalk outside, so i thought that i should wait here for the bus to come. Others were gathered in the long narrow shelter as well. I watched some people walk along the sidewalk. I then realized that it was thundering out, so there would be lightning outside the booth. I was then on the bus as the bus moved slowly to the west. I should not have been on the bus yet. I still had several things in the building near the bus stop. I felt upset for not getting them when i was there. The bus was taking me to work, but i knew that i would have to go back for my things. I wondered if i could hop off of the bus here and run back to the shelter. I then realized that the bus would not stop between bus stops. I was annoyed by this, thinking that i would have to travel quite a ways before i could get back to the bus stop where my things were. I was disappointed, and i was not quite sure what to do. I thought that i should find a way to get out now and run back. I then thought that about how long it took to commute by bus. I would be late for work if i went back now and then waited for the next bus. I wondered if i should get up earlier, like i used to do. I felt confused, not sure what to do. I then thought that it took longer to commute in this area. I seemed to be in southern United States. I looked to the west down the highway that the bus was traveling on. I felt disappointed. I then thought that i should have started riding my bicycle to work.

I was lying in the bed on the southern side of the room on the second floor of the house. I sat up and moved to the northwest. This room seemed to be in $P19. I had been living here. Some people were moving around the room. I spoke to them. It seemed comfortable being here. The people then said that we had to do some things. A few of them move off to the north, but i headed back into the room to the south, entering through the doorway in the western end of the northern wall. I headed into the room. The bed was against the northern wall, and it had a dark-blue sheet over the mattress. I had not been sleeping on it. I had been sleeping in the bed that was in the room just to the north. I had forgotten that this bed was here. $F12 seemed to be in the room to the north now. I had been talking to him. I had to do something, though. I felt the need to get it done, and i knew that the others who had left were also doing other parts of the job. I headed to the south, entering the small stairwell. Another person followed me. I started walking up the stairs, heading to the south along the eastern wall. I mentioned to the other person that these stairs had not been here when i lived here long ago. The walls of the stairwell were nicely painted in blue. I said that this place had been closed off when i was here. I thought that several other parts of the house had been closed off as well. I felt interested in these hidden corridors of the building. I reached the next floor and headed to the north. A door was in the northern wall with a glass window on top. I looked out, seeing steps below me that led to the walkway. We had only ascended to the first floor of the house. I wanted to get to the third floor. I said this to $A55, who had been with me. He commented on the corridor. I then felt confused as to how we could get to the second floor. The stairs we were on ended, so we could climb no further. We would have to go to the west into the main part of the house to get upstairs. $A55 and i walked through a thick wooden door. To my surprise, we did not come out in the house. We entered a small yard between the part of the house that we had been in and the main house. The yard was rectangular, with brown wooden fences on the northern and southern sides. A short set of stairs ran up to gates in the center of both sides near the center of the yard. I had still been thinking about the emergency exit in the stairwell, and i thought that these two places were also emergency exits. They would allow people to escape the courtyard in case of danger. The house seemed to be to the northwest of the courtyard. We walked to the west, coming into a small grassy lawn, which also seemed to be a room. A few people were in the room, talking to one another. I said hello to them and started talking to the man on the northern side of the room. He was a good friend of mine, and he seemed like $A71. The others had then left, and i moved to hug $A71. It felt very good to be with him. He hugged me back, and i started to feel erotic. He leaned back against the grass. I realized that he was very tall and somewhat muscular. I kissed his chest as we lay down to the north. I then realized that his chest was smooth, and i wondered if he had shaved. It seemed strange that i would find him more attractive just because he shaved.

I was driving down the foggy road, heading east. I was in the country, and this place seemed familiar. The land around me seemed to be open fields, but they rolled over very long shallow hills. It seemed to be dark, but i could still see the thin gray fog over the grass, as though it were twilight. I turned to the north and headed up one of the roads. A car was following me. I shifted the leaver that was on the right side of the steering column. This allowed me to shift gears. The car had been following me down the long road that i had been on, and it was driving very close to me now that i had turned. I was annoyed with it, but i did not alter how i was driving. Looking ahead, i could see where the road curved to the east again. I thought that i would be continuing straight to the north on the smaller road. I started to drift to the east, into the other lane, but turned back into my lane. I did not want to anticipate the turn. I looked in the rearview mirror to see that the man behind me had started to pass, but he drifted back into the lane with me. I put on my turn signal and looked ahead again. As i turned off of the road, i noticed a small red stop sign on the right side of the road. It seemed to be at the entrance to the side road, but this did not make sense. As i drove past it, i noticed that it had a small white arrow pointing ahead. I decided that it was pointing to the stop sign at the intersection of the next road, which was only fifteen or twenty meters ahead of me. I came to a stop at the next sign, and i realized that i was not sure where to go. I did not recognize this place. I knew that i could turn here and take the back way home, but i did not remember quite how to go. I thought about how i had taken this road before, but i had been confused about where to go. I had simply come out in the small towns that i recognized and figured out the way from there. I knew that the back route was to the right, heading west, but i was hesitant to take it. I decided to turn to the east, knowing that this road would just come back out on the main road that i had been on. I started to drive north again, heading to the intersection where i would have to turn to the east. I held on to the gearshift that was on the steering column. I realized that i had not shifted the car down into a lower gear. I could hear the engine rumbling to get the car moving. I watched the road move quickly past, thinking that the engine had to struggle, but it got the car quickly up to speed. This was an older car, and it had a big engine. I thought that this way of driving must have been using a lot of gas. My mother commented on how i was shifting. She was now in the passenger’s seat. I stopped at the next intersection and turned to the east. I concentrated on starting in a lower gear and shifting up as we speeded up. An old car was approaching us as we got moving on the road to the east. It looked like an old Cadillac from the 1970s. It had a square front end and was dull-gold. As it passed us, i could hear the sound of the engine of the car i was driving. I again came to an intersection, which was now facing west. It was dark, and i had the lights of my car on. I started to turn to the south, but a car was coming very fast from the north. It did not have its lights on, and it turned in front of us, heading to the east past us. It seemed to be a large tan car from the 1970s. I commented on it to my mother as i listened to the engine of my car as i shifted up through the gears as we drove to the south.
