I walked to the south, along the western wall of the small room where $G3 was gathered. I had been spending time with them. A group of $G3 were clustered around a small picnic table just to the east of me, and i was walking past them as i said something to them. A second table seemed to be on the eastern side of the room. I told the others that i had to leave. I had been having fun here, but i felt a little out of place. These people were students. At the southern side of the table, i headed to the southeast, toward the doorway in the center of the southern wall. I stopped at the southern end of the table, saying something to someone who had asked me a question. The others were drinking, and i thought that they were having a party. I then remembered that they were college students, so i wondered if they were old enough to drink. As i looked at the people in the room, i realized that there not many people here, so it was possible that the people here were only the ones who were over twenty-one. I headed out the doorway in the southern wall and headed to the east. I thought about this house. It was old and worn, and i thought that it would be nice to repair and restore the entire building. I then thought that it would be nice to expand the size of the building. I remembered thinking about this a long time ago. I had imagined that it would nice to magically alter the building so that the ceilings were higher and the rooms a little wider. I thought about extending the walls upward by inserting something in the center of the wall that matched the rest of the materials that the building was made from. I moved to the east, looking southeast at the exterior wall of the house to the south of me. I then stopped near the western end of the building, looking at the roof. The western end of the roof was peaked, but the roof did not connect with the section of the house under it. This was the original design of the house, and i liked the way it looked. The house now seemed to run to the southeast. The wide roof at the end had a shallow peak, and it was surfaced on the top with brown roofing tiles. The northwestern end of the peak extended a little to the northwest of the rest of the edge of the roof. Below the roof was a gap of about a half meter, between the underside of the roof and the upper part of the ceiling. The opening under the peak had a flat bottom, and a light-gray triangular area sloped upward to the southeast into the house. It ended a half meter under the roof, leaving the gap, which ran the length of the house. The ceiling sloped parallel to the sides of the roof on either side. This design seemed strange. I thought that leaving a hole under the roof would allow cold air to get into the sides of the building. It seemed like an artistic design, but i wondered if it was a good design. I looked back to the east, and then back at the room. I noticed that the sloped triangular area was made of square cement tiles. The tiles seemed about a deci on edge and about a half to a third of a deci thick. They would provide a good solid surface above the rooms of the house, but i still thought that the cold air would get under the roof. I thought that we could probably fill in the gap with insulating foam. I then wondered if the problem would be that the roof would get cold and allow humidity to condense on the underside of it. If the gap were there, the humidity from the rooms would not reach the cold of the roof. I thought that it might be better to put caps over the ends of the building to keep the cold air from blowing through. It would sill keep the gap between the lower roof and the upper roof, but it would prevent cold air from circulating in the gap. I moved to the north a little, now in the room on the upper floor of the house. I still thought about the strange design of the house, picturing the outer siding on the house as pale blue. Others were in the room with me, and i chatted with them for a moment. I had to leave and get back home. I still felt awkward here. Someone was standing on the eastern end of the room, and i was talking to him about the building. I then turned to the north, noticing that the windows that ran along the western wall had yellow curtains over them. The windows had very narrow gaps between them, so that it seemed that the wall had one long window across it. The curtains were made of plain simple cloth with a weave thick enough that i could see the threads. The room looked different with curtains over the windows, and i said this to the person to the north of me. It seemed strange. I thought that it should only be darker. One of the other men, who had been sitting at a desk to the west of me, stood up and walked to the south. Another man at a desk was to the south of him on the same wall. The desks were pushed up against the walls. I looked at the mustard-yellow curtains, thinking that i liked the windows much better when the sunlight could get in. I told the other person that i had to leave, but he continued talking to me. I sat down in a chair that was on the southern side of the long narrow room, which now seemed like a corridor. The man was still standing to the west of me, but i was talking to the man to the north. The corridor in was in had doorways in the western wall. I slouched a little in the chair. The tan cushioned chair seemed old and worn. It had a rounded low back and a thick cushion on the seat. The entire chair was covered with a texture fabric that seemed reddish tan. I knew that i had to leave, but i chatted with the man for a moment.

I drove the car to the east, down the narrow city street. My mother was in the passenger’s seat, and we were talking about something. The road seemed to slope gradually down a little as we headed to the east, but it sloped back up just to the east of the intersection that we were approaching. I passed through the intersection, and i noticed that my mother looked questioningly at me. I then realized that i was driving in the left lane. I had passed a car that was still stopped in the intersection in the right lane. The road had been a one-way street, so i knew that i was fine driving in the left lane, but i wondered if it was still a one-way street. I looked ahead of us. About a block away, i could see a white car driving toward me in the lane that i was in. I realized that the one-way part of the street must have ended at the intersection i had just driven through, so i moved to the right, into the right lane of the road. I said something to my mother as we continued driving through the city area. This place was familiar, and we had driven through this area many times before. We seemed to be going farther than we normally would go, though. My mother said that she had to get something, and she mentioned the place. I thought about the place, which seemed to be to the northeast of us somewhere. I thought that i would not turn north as early as i normally would. I said this to my mother. I then turned to the south onto a short street that went up a shallow hill. The area to the east of us seemed to be an open lot, but stores and shops were on the western side. My mother mentioned being in an area like this and finding new things. I felt interested in exploring a place like this. It seemed that i had not been here in a long time. I noticed a round white sign hanging over a storefront, which was mostly smooth and white. Cafe tables were on a low terrace just outside the entrance of the store, which seemed to be a brewery. The words on the sign curved around the outside edges, and the word on the top started with an A. The word seemed to have something to do with beer. I told my mother that the place looked interesting. She mentioned that she had purchased some beer at a brewery before. She said that it was expensive beer, but it was not that good. I thought it might have been a modern bitter beer, and i said this to my mother. We turned to the east at the end of the road, which ended about twenty-five meters past the pub. The buildings on the southern side of the street looked like small shops. I thought about where we had to go, remembering that my mother had to stop at someplace special. We were then driving to the northwest, through a neighborhood area. We seemed to be on the northeastern side of the neighborhood, traveling on a long straight road. Other houses were to the north and northeast of us, but they seemed to be part of a different area. I knew that i would have to turn somewhere, but i was not sure quite where. My mother was then out of the car, and i was driving away from her. I had just dropped her off somewhere. As i walked down the street, which seemed like a corridor on the northeastern side of a building, my mother said that i should just go through the office. I had not considered passing through my office. I had just past a doorway in the southern wall, which seemed to lead to my office. I stopped in the corridor, thinking that i normally would have turned at the end of the corridor to the west of me. The western end of the corridor was not well lighted. I backed up and turned into the doorway. A wall was a few meters inside the doorway, blocking direct entrance to the room. The wall seemed to be covered with cloth, and it was a temporary wall that matched the walls around the rest of the cubicles. I turned to the west and came into the office. The corridor ran south between the western wall of the room and the western wall of the cubicle to the east of me. The room was dimly lighted, and i was aware of people in the cubicles to the east of me as i walked. This was my office, but i was supposed to be on vacation. I felt a little uneasy about walking through the area, thinking that people would want to know why i was here. As i passed an opening to a cubicle, i was caught a glimpse of several people in business suits standing near a counter on the eastern side of the room. A few people were sitting near them. Someone said hello to me. I smiled but continued looking forward. I held up the white bowl, which was in my left hand, covering the side of my face and making a joke of the fact that i did not want people to think that i was working at the moment. I walked to the southern side of the room and then headed through the wide doorway in the western wall. In the smaller next room, a large conference table of people was to the north of me. I waved to them but hurriedly continued to the west, passing through another wide doorway. I turned to the southwest to head out of the front door of the office. I spotted $F67 sitting in a low desk in the center of the room. She had her head down, working on something. She was wearing a dull black hooded sweatshirt. As i passed to the east of her, i stared at her, thinking that she would look up at me as i passed. I widened my eyes comically. As i moved to the south of her, she glanced up at me and laughed. I waved and continued through the exit doorway and into the corridor of the mall. I headed across the corridor, to the south, entering the store there. The store ran along the length of the corridor but did not go too deeply to the south. It had several sets of shelfs and racks that ran east to west in the store, and much of the merchandise seemed to be knickknacks. I was looking for glasses for my mother. She had asked me get something specific. I saw an A-frame set of narrow shelfs with assorted glasses on it, but they did not seem to be what i was looking for. I wandered to the east, toward the back of the store, which was not open to the corridor. I could not quite find what i was looking for. I held a small glass tumbler in my left hand. I had taken it out of the left pocket of by peacoat. I did not see other glasses in the eastern part of the store, so i headed back to the west, stopping to look at a rack of glasses. The wooden A-frame rack was aligned northeast to southwest and had a solid wood backing. The glasses here seemed very fancy. I could hear my mother telling me that she had traded in a set of glasses for a special set. She had since changed her mind and wanted to see if i could find the old glasses in the store still. I did not see anything that looked quite like them. I was aware of a male store clerk to the west of me. He walked toward me and said something. I started talking to him.

12020 April 03

I had been sitting in the bed, which was against the southern wall of the room. I was leaning against the southern wall as i sat with my legs under the covers on the western side of the bed. I had to clean up some things, I moved to the west of the bed and started pulling the sheets up over the pillows. I had left some clothing in the bed, so i pulled a knit hat out from under the sheets before i pulled the flannel sheets up. I then realized that there were more clothes sticking to the sheets. I wondered if they had clung to the sheets from dryer static. I pulled at the clothes and put them to the west of the bed, on the floor. I then realized that one of the articles of clothing was a pair of house pants. I pulled them toward me, but they stuck to the sheets to the northeast of me. I realized they might be the pants i thought that i had left at my doctor’s office. I felt glad that i had not actually lost them. I tugged against the static cling to pull them out from the sheets. They looked like plaid flannel pajamas, but the colors were too dark to make out for sure. As i pulled them free, i realized that the color was only on the front of the pants. The pants were actually running tights. They were mostly black, but the fronts of the thighs had bright green leopard spots on them. They were $F58’s pants. She must have left them here when she was in the bed. I remembered her and $F57 staying in the bed with me at some point. The pants fell onto the floor to the northwest of me, so i bent over and grabbed one end of the bunched up tights. I lifted them, thinking that i would need to see them again so that i could return their tights. I stood and looked at the pants for a moment, contemplating what i should do. I was then moving to the west, driving the car into the intersection, which seemed like the intersection in Dryden. I turned the car to the south on the road, but, as soon as i rounded the corner, something seemed wrong. I turned the wheel a little more to the right when i realized that the car had lost power. I could not hear the engine running, and the wheel was stiff and hard to turn. I felt annoyed. The car was still in the road, but it was slowly rolling to the south. I would have to use the momentum to roll it off the road. I was in a narrow road, though, which seemed like a corridor. The brown buildings were on both sides, and they seemed like shops. They were all closed now, though. Another intersection seemed to be just to the south of me, and i hoped that i could make it all the way through the intersection before my car stopped. A small triangular median was on the western side of the intersection, separating a turning lane from the main road. I tried to head toward the turning lane, but my can stopped just short of the median. I felt annoyed. I had pulled it as far as i could to the west, but i was still in the middle of the lane. I was glad that it was still early in the morning and that very few people were traveling outside now. I was worried that my car was in the middle of the lane, and i looked in my rear-view mirror to make sure no one was coming behind me. The road seemed clear, so i got out of the car. I wondered if i could push the car to the shoulder. A car came from the east and passed through the intersection slowly. I thought that the driver was probably watching me and wondering what i was doing. I walked to the north, around the back of the car. I opened the passenger’s door on the western side of the car and started pulling things out of the car. I then realized that several things had fallen on the grassy ground to the west of me. I felt frustrated and started picking them up. I looked at the things, which seemed to be a few small trinkets that had fallen out of the car. I picked up a few and tossed them back into the passenger’s seat of the car. I then realized that there were more things on the ground than i had realized. I felt frustrated. I walked back around to the eastern side of the car to pick some things up, and then i walked back to the western side of the car. More things seemed to be on the ground than i had thought I had to get them cleaned up so that i could move the car out of the way. The car now seemed to be on the grassy lawn, though. A large building, like a barn, seemed to be to the southeast of the car. I bent over to pick some things up, noticing that several things had fallen under the car. I realized that not all of these things had actually fallen out of my car. Many of the things here seemed to be left in this place. I looked at a few dolls that were lying on the grass to the west of the car, and i decided to collect them and put them in the car anyway. I thought that i could keep the abandoned equipment. I crouched down to collect all of the things that were under the car. The ground under the car now seemed to be made of cement. The cement was flat, but the northern section of the cement was about five centimeters higher than the rest. The rear tires of the car were sitting on the northern section. I crawled under the car and started grabbing the things there. I had to get all of these things in my car. I grabbed something near the small paper cup, which was against the small cement step, near the rear western wheel of the car. I realized that the spout above the small white cup dispensed some kind of change. The cup was there to collect anting that dripped out of the spout. I realized that these things were here fro others to use, but i still collected some of the things that were on the ground near the cups. A second cup was near the center of the car, with a similar spout over it. The spouts were round tubes with orange stripes running in a long curve down the length. A third cup near the eastern side of the car, and it was filled with white and light-grey poker chips. The thick casino chips had four radiating gray stripes and a solid white center and outer ring. I knew that the chips were for someone else, but i took a few to put in my car. I then realized that different types of chips were also to the east of the poker chips. I saw one in a paper cup that said “token” in capital letters on the front of it. The chip was blue and seemed to be formed of crossing lines. The lines had rounded ends, making the entire chip look roughly round. I took the chip, but it was still in the cup. I then thought that i should probably not be taking these things and keeping them for myself. I took them anyway as i stood back up to put more things in my car. I wanted to collect all of these things and save them. I walked back to the south on the western side of the car. I had piled some blankets and things on a small wicker sled. The sled was rectangular and about a meter and a half long by three-quarters of a meter wide. It had wooden poles around the side, which seemed like stained tree limbs, and a white center. The blankets and other things were piled on the center of the sled. A cat was on the western end of the sled, chewing on one of the blankets. I realized that the blanket was actually animal fur, and i pulled the cat off of it. I worried that the cat might damage it by chewing on it. I pushed the cat to the northeast of me with my left hand as i crouched, facing south. I folded the black fur of the blanket back over and smoothed out the section where the cat had been chewing. I was trying to see if it had been damaged. I then stood up and looked at the other things that were here. Many things seemed to be on the ground still, and i wanted to collect all of them. A man then came from the southwest, leaning over the sled and grabbing the fur blanket. I felt annoyed with him, and i told him that he should put it back. He took a few steps to the southwest, holding the blanket around his waist. He seemed confused about what i had said, and he did not seem to want to put the blanket back. I felt annoyed with him, and i wanted to tell him that the blanket was mine, but i knew that it was not. I had found it. I told myself that i should let the man take the blanket because i was not using it. I felt annoyed by this, but i turned back to the northeast, trying not to feel bad that i could not take the blanket with me.

12020 April 04

I sat on the long couch that was against the western wall of the small room. A few other people sat to the south of me, on the southern end of a couch, near the southern wall. We were watching something on a large television, which was high on the southern end of the eastern wall. The room was dim, with only a small window high on the southern wall. A doorway was in the western end of the northern wall. I stood up and moved to the north, thinking that i had to shift position for some specific reason. As i reached the northern end of a couch, which might have been a different couch than i had been sitting on, i was aware of someone approaching the doorway to the room and stopping just outside. I sat down on the couch, taking note of the man standing outside. He seemed to be preparing for something, and there was something interesting in him. I thought that he was going to come into the room. I then realized that there was not much room for him to enter the room. A couch was set up to the east of me, and the back of the couch almost touched my knees. I made a noise in acknowledging this and stood up and pushed the couch farther to the east. I then sat back down on the couch against the western wall. The man entered the room, shuffling past me. I could only see his legs as he past. Something about them seemed to draw my attention. At first, it seemed that he was wearing shorts and i could see his thigh muscles, but, as he moved past me, he was wearing a pair of light-tan slacks that matched his business jacket. He moved to the east, dropping his things on a chair that was against the northern wall of the room. The man turned around to the south and said something about religion. I realized that he was a religious teacher of some kind, and i felt a little disappointed in meeting him. I thought that he would try to lecture to us about his faith. He asked a question of the people in the room, and one of the people to the south of me responded. They did not seem interested in a lecture on religion either. The man said something about good, and i answered, saying that i believed good and bad were not sharply defined. I realized that i was talking about ideas of gray again. I thought about this, realizing that i had my own religion, which i felt was more balanced. I thought about this as i stood up. I seemed to move from the room and into a similar room a little to the east. Others were there, and i said something to them. I then focused on $A59, who was standing to the southeast of me in the room. I remembered talking about him before, and i thought that it was good to see him again.

12020 April 05

The group of people was in the rectangular room. They had been staying there for a while. It seemed that something had happened to the rest of the world, and they had been taking shelter in this place. A young man moved to the south of me, doing something on the southern end of the room, and the others were talking to the north of me. The young man was then talking about something. He used a word that the others had said. It seemed like he was telling a story of “Captain Lecture”. I realized that he had a radio and that he was broadcasting a story. An older man came from the north and stopped just to the north of me, looking to the south. He could not see the young man, but he could hear him talking about the fictional person. I thought that the older man was the younger man’s father, and that the younger man was making up stories based on things his father had told him. The father said something to a third man, and he moved toward the south to stop the younger man. The older men seemed to disapprove of the younger man broadcasting on the radio. I then heard the sound of another voice from the radio. Someone was replying to the young man. The young man came out of the room to the south and excitedly told his father that people were responding. The young man had now made up a number of stories, and they were being broadcast. People around the world had heard them and were now responding. This seemed like a hopeful situation. The father walked to the south and the boy led him back to the small room, which seemed like a rectangular area along the western side of the southern wall. They were happy that they now had contact with many other people. The father told his son that he would now have to learn German to speak with these people. I thought that some of the stories must have been told in German or Russian. I turned to the south and started moving toward the room, without actually seeing anything in the room.

12020 April 06

I stood on the western side of the room as i listened to the people talking. The room was large, with white walls and what seemed like rows of benches for an audience. The walls of the room had curved sections, making the shape of the room rounded. I adjusted my tie. I seemed to be wearing a business suit. I started walking toward the double doors in the center of the northern wall. The doors were made of a dark material, and they had windows in the upper halfs. I could hear the judge speaking, and i felt a little nervous, because i had to go into the court room to testify. I turned to the east in front of the doors in the northern wall and stopped just to the west of the large metal cube, which was some kind of elevator. The silvery box was a little taller than i was and was at the end of an enclosed corridor that extended from the eastern wall. I listened to the judge say something as i waited for the double doors on the western end of the box to open. When they did, i stepped inside, and the elevator box started moving to the southeast. The doors opened again, and i walked to the west, into a large court room, which looked exactly like the room i had been in before, but it did not have the metal box in the northeastern corner. A tall thin man in a black suit and white shirt was standing with a group of people on the northwestern side of the room, facing me. The people stood in two rows, and the back row seemed to be slightly elevated. It seemed that three people were in the back row and four or five were in the front row. The tall thin man stood in the center of the back row, and he seemed to be the judge. The people in the front row did not sit in front of him. The others did not seem to be dressed as nicely as the judge. A rounded woman on the southwestern side of the first row wore a light-colored dress that come down just below her knees and a loose top. One of the people on the northeastern side seemed like a teenage boy, who had chubby cheeks. I stopped a few steps into the room and bowed slightly to the judge. He bowed back. Several people were sitting in the pews in the room, facing north. I moved to the center of the room, wondering what i would be saying. The judge asked me about the place. I looked at the map that had been given to me. I held the brownish paper to the north of me, seeing the animated illustration of landscape. One of the people to the north was describing how the land would be restricted to a certain area. He was trying to make the case that people did not need to use the central part of the area any more. The area was on the right side of the map, to the east of a north-to-south read. A main east-to-west road seemed to cross the top of the map, and the area that the man was talking about was colored green. The center of the area became blank, and i wondered what had been there. Whatever it was, it was what the people wanted to maintain. The person described how the young people could still hike up the hills, but i thought that the interesting section was in the center of the green area. The people did not want others to use the center of the area. I looked at a curved line on the map, which seemed to show a hill rising from the central area. The line was drawn in dark brown, and it seemed to be a cross-section of a hill that rose gradually and rounded off near the top. The man tried to convince me that it would be just as good for hiking as the other area, but i was not convinced. It did not seem that nice. I thought that the outside areas of the green patch were relatively flat and would not be as interesting to people who liked to enjoy nature. I then looked back at the central area, noticing a line drawing of the tall buttes of the canyon. The central area was a canyon, and it had rounded towers with vertical striations. It looked like a very nice area, and i understood why people thought that it was much better there than in the surrounding area. I suddenly wondered where the area was. I looked at he road that ran to the west of the area. It seemed familiar, but i was not sure where it was. A picture of $A794 then appeared on the left side of the paper. It was a video feed, and $A794 said something about the area. I noticed a tall stadium light in the background behind her. I knew that she was standing on the side of the road on the eastern side of the map, and i thought that the metal light post was from a Cornell facility. I thought that it was the facility on Game Farm Road. I told the person to the east of me that i knew where the area was, but i realized that i couldn’t picture it on the side of the road. I pictured North Road near my parents’ farmhouse, thinking that the area to the east of it was farming fields. I did not remember a large area that could hide a small canyon like this. I tried to focus on the map, which now had more roads on it. I was looking for the name of the long north-to-south road. The roads on the map were now white with thin black boarders. A small set of roads formed blocks on the western side of the road near the top of the map. Near the bottom of the grids, a road ran to the west. I could read the names of the smaller roads, but i could not see the name of the long road. Someone was describing the roads again, and i saw $A794 to the north of me talking about the name of the road. I asked where exactly it was, mentioning the name of a road that seemed like the right road. I looked at the upper right of the map, where the north-to-south road seemed to cross another road. I told the person that the name of the road changed, and i said that it was Freese Road. This did not seem correct, though. I clarified by saying that Freese Road was the road after the intersection and that the road had a different name before. I tried to think of the names, and they seemed to be in my mind, but i could not quite remember them. Someone then mentioned the other road, and i looked for it on the map, but i could only see a partial name. I turned to $F4, who was now sitting in the passenger’s seat of the car, to the east of me. We were trying to figure out where we should go, but we could not quite get the road names correct. $F4 was looking down at the thing in his hands to figure out where to go. I was driving to the north, but i had stopped at the intersection at the end of the road. I told $F4 that i had maps in the glove compartment, and told him to pull one out so that we could look up the name of the road. I then turned to the east and drove into the area of the town, which seemed like Auburn. I was not sure where we were going, and i thought that i should get out of the way of traffic. I pulled off on the southern side of the road, which had a worn gravel shoulder. I stopped the car while $F4 looked over the map. A man was then to the north of my car, walking toward my window. He seemed like a security officer, but he did not seem like a police officer. He asked us what we were doing here, and i felt uneasy with him near me. I vaguely answered his questions and decided that i should simply move away. I drove away to the east. I was then standing to the east of the car, which was parked in the driveway. The others were talking about the place, and they were getting ready to go. We had to get somewhere, and i still felt nervous about getting there. The others left to the north, in a car. They backed out of the driveway and drove away. We had to get out things together so that we could leave as well. Only a few people were around me now. A woman stood to the south of me, leaning against the black car that was to the west of her. It seemed like a large American car. I felt tense as i moved a little to the south and turned around to reply to the woman. I told her that we had to get ready. I then noticed the deep snow on the sides of the driveway. The others had gone to the south to prepare the second car for the trip. I bent over and scooped up a large snowball in my arms, and i took a bite out of the end of it. We would need the snow for something. I said something else to the woman, and then i noticed the other car that was sitting to the northwest of me, facing north. It was on the snow-covered lawn. We had put a plastic bag of cookies on the front hood of the car, but the strong winds had blown it to the side. I could see the bag resting on the wind shield, but i knew that it had blown off. I walked to the western side of the car, stopping near the rear. I thought that i should pick up the bag of cookies and put it back on the front of the car. We had to leave it in plain sight so that others would see it. I then thought that the cookies might have cannabis in them, and i did not want to be seen adjusting them on the car. They had to be put back in place, though. I noticed that the mustard-yellow oriental rug had also slipped off of the car. It was now covering the snow on the ground to the west of the car. I stepped carefully on the rug and picked up the bag of cookies by the corner and tossed it back onto the hood of the car to the northeast of me. I then backed off of the rug and headed back toward the garage.

I walked around through the large building, which seemed like a mall or other public area. The building ran roughly east to west, with a large corridor. I moved to the north, down the length of a long narrow room that seemed to be on the southern side of the main corridor. I had not been in this building before, and i wondered what it was going to be. It was the new student center for the college. The walls in this section were covered with gray tile, and a wide square column was in the middle of the room, just to the northeast of me. I noticed the red letters running up the column. It was the Amtrak logo tipped on its side. This section of the building was a train station. I felt excited about the idea of having a train station here. A man was standing to the north of me as i stood looking at the red letters. He was watching me, and he seemed to be with me, though i did not seem to know him. I continued walking to the north along the western side of the long room. The tracks seemed to have come in from the south and ran along the eastern side of the room. I headed through a doorway in the western end of the northern wall. The area around the door was set into the room. I was aware that the northern wall on the eastern side of the room was about ten meters farther to the north than the doorway i was passing through. I thought that this terminal was in the basement of the building. When i stopped on the other side of the doorway, i was on the first floor of the building. I looked to the east, down the long corridor of the mall-like area. The corridor was two floors tall, and the shops along the southern side still seemed to be under construction. The doorway i had just come out of was still marked with the red Amtrak logo. It was a good idea to have a train that came into town. I thought that it would great to have a train that ran directly to New York City from here. It would connect the college to the city. I walked to the east, down the southern side of the corridor, thinking about this. The other man walked with me.

I was at the southern end of the back room of my parents’ farmhouse. The others had been having a party to the east of the northern end of the house. They seemed to be $G3. The party seemed to have been running for a while, and it was now dark out. Several $G3 came into the house through the back door, and i chatted with them. A young man was with them. He was new to the group, and he was not yet a member of $G3. He stood nervously as some of the others chatted. He did not seem comfortable in this situation. I wondered why they had brought him to the party. It seemed strange that they would have brought someone who did not feel comfortable here. I moved to the doorway, thinking about the party to the northeast. It was still breaking up, and many people seemed to have left already. I headed down the hallway to the west with some of the others. We had to get to the station to catch the bus back. It seemed to be late in the day. I thought that we would be traveling on the bus for quite a distance. The sign at the station said that the bus did not come until 9:00 p.m. I felt disappointed that we would have to wait. It seemed like we would have to be here for several hours, and i did not want to have to sit around until the bus came. I moved around with the others in the room, which seemed like the station. Seats were to the east of us, and we were in a corridor that ran to the north and south. I thought that the bus came earlier to other places, and i thought that we should have gone to those stations instead. I told the others that we could have taken a taxi to Binghamton and gotten on an earlier bus. Binghamton seemed to be only a half-hour or so to the south by car. I had thought about doing this before, and i wondered why we had not gone there instead. I told my mother this as i walked to the south, looking at the rolling landscape around me. It was sunny now, and the grass on the hills was dry and tan. I thought that it was not really that far to Binghamton, but i realized that the country between was this type of rolling hills. It seemed that it might take time to travel this type of country to get to the station, so we would be spending time traveling to the other station. I contemplated what we should have done as i paced around the area. I then remembered that i had had dinner with my parents. I thought that the party at my parents’ farmhouse must have ended fairly early, because we still had time to stop for dinner at the mall-like area before coming to the station. I remembered being on the southern end of a rectangular table in a dimly lighted restaurant, which seemed to be in the mall. That had been a little while ago, and we still had to wait for the bus.

I moved to the north as the musicians got ready to play. A man was standing to the north-northwest of me. He seemed to be a DJ or someone playing an electronic instrument on a board. I knew that another man was standing to the west of him, but i could not see the other man because a wall or column was blocking my view. The building structure was just to the northwest of me. I moved a little to the north, to get a better look at the man. I then noticed the people sitting behind the table to the northeast. They seemed to be the judges for the competition. One man was sitting in a folding chair behind the table. He had a black console in front of him. The other man was standing just to the southeast of the table, doing something with a taller black console. The musician to the northwest was going to play something in the competition, and he would be competing with the man to the west of him. I noticed a square black box to the northeast. It was on the ground, behind the table where the other two men were. It had a round mesh over the front, making it look like an amplifier, but it had a white light in the upper right corner and a white digital display of time. It seemed like it was counting down seconds, and it was near five. This was the start of the song. I looked back at the musician as the music started. I could now see the other man to the west of him. They both stood behind a table, leaning over sound boards in front of them. The music played for a few seconds, but then there was a pause in the sound. I realized that someone had not filled in the gaps. This was a bad start to the performance. The man on the eastern side looked over at the man to the west. The man to the west shook his head. The man to the west seemed to have short red hair with a matching short beard. He had his head down over the boards and seemed to be sitting. The man on the eastern side was standing. He had a rectangular face and a wide nose. His hair was straight and very short. His chin seemed rounded. Something about him caught my attention, and i focused on the way he looked. He was somehow important.

I stood on the southern side of the area, looking at the aqueducts to the north of me. The large stone one ran northwest to southeast. It looked like an old Roman aqueduct. I could see that it was crossing a deep narrow valley to the northwest of me, but it seemed almost level with the ground to the north of me. Some people were standing to the northeast of me as i thought about these features. The stonework of the aqueduct was pale. The old blocks were worn with age, but the top of the channel seemed complete. The channel was about two meters wide, with blocks running on either side that were about a quarter of a meter high. The aqueduct curved to the northeast of me and turned toward me. I noticed that the end that was coming toward me was broken and uneven. It ran along the ground like a road. I felt bad that it had gone into disrepair. I then thought about the structures of the aqueducts. They were all made of old stone, and they had lasted through the ages. Someone was talking about the way they were built, and i said something to them. I thought about the white stone that they were made out of. It seemed to be a strong stone. I then looked across a valley to see the tall thin stone column that supported an aqueduct. The column seemed to be four or five meters wide and ten meters long. It had large thick blocks near the bottom. The column then got narrower as it rose, and it seemed to be at least fifty meters tall. I thought that the blocks must be made of a good rock, because the rocks at the bottom would have to hold a lot of weight. I then thought that they must be well set on the bedrock to be so stable. The entire construction of the aqueducts seemed very impressive.

I started crawling across the large parking lot. I had entered the asphalt lot from the southern end of the western side, and i had to get to the northeast. The faded asphalt under me was cracked. I was crawling on my hands and knees, struggling to move quickly. I then wondered why i was crawling on the ground when i could easily walk. I stood up and started walking to the northeast. As i started walking, i was in the middle of the lot, heading to the east. I seemed to be walking down a sidewalk in the middle of the open area, and there were buildings to the north of us. This seemed to be part of the college campus. People were walking along the path, heading east and west. I then noticed $A380 to the east of me. He seemed young, and he was wearing a business suit. His hair was short and brushed forward. He walked very firmly, with a stiff gait. I then realized that hew as walking with his wife or girlfriend. She had walked in front of him so that i could not see him. She was walking with the stiff determined stride that i remembered him walking with. As she passed me, i noticed $A380 behind her. He was now walking with a bouncy gait. I laughed as he passed me, thinking that they had switched walking styles. He was walking the way she would normally walk, and she was walking like he does. $A380 stopped just to the west of me, and i started explaining why i found their walks funny. I knew that they were joking when they walked that way.

I walked back to the south, looking at the eastern wall of the cottage, which was just to the west of me. The white wall seemed to be made of cement or adobe, and it had a flower bed in front of it. White rounded bricks around the outsides defined the flowerbeds. The eastern end of the building seemed to be a screened-in porch. Something was strange here, and i felt alert. Water filled the rectangular area of the flower bed, and it seemed to be splashing as if in waves. I thought that the waves had rolled in from the ocean, and i was cautious of the high tide. The water did not come as high as i expected, thought. I thought that something was wrong, and a large wave would be coming in. The water in the flower beds rolled like ocean surf, but it did not get any higher. I felt confused, thinking that the water was supposed to get higher. I then looked off to the west. The cottage near me was on a hill that sloped down to the ocean. The small buildings of the town filled the hill, and we seemed to be only a kilometer or so from the sea, which was to the west. The ocean seemed to be about fifty to a hundred meters below the level where we were. I heard a static sound, and i knew that it was the ocean water rushing in. This was the large wave that i had known about. It was coming, and i thought that it would be hitting the town. I could hear the rolling waves in the town below. I turned to the east and told my mother that the water was coming in. She was on the southern side of the room, to the southeast of me now. The room seemed to be an outdoor patio to the east of the cottage. She was doing something near the white cement wall to the east, and she turned around to ask me about the wave. She seemed concerned. I looked to the north, noticing water running over the ground. I could see the street to the north of the building, and i thought that the water might wash up the hill of the street, but i did not see it. I then noticed the water running across the cement sidewalk right in front of me. Two puddles were draining back to the west. This was evidence of the incoming wave. I turned back to my mother and told her that a wave was coming. She asked me what i talked about, and i told her that it was a tsunami. The term did not seem quite right, but i knew that it was a similar large wave.

I drove the car to the north, down the narrow parking lot to the east of the row of apartments. My mother was in the passenger’s seat. I asked her where we could park. I thought that we would have to stop here for a while, but it seemed strange that we would be parking in this lot, because we no longer lived in these apartments. It was dark, and i could only see the tan cubical buildings to the west of me. Trees seemed to be on the eastern side of the lot, but i could only see a few black forms of the branches and leafs. I knew that tan buildings similar to the ones to the west were also to the east of us. I looked for open parking spots, but i thought that all of the spots should be related to different apartments, and i thought that we would not really be able to park in any of them. I was not sure where we should go, and we seemed to be approaching the northern end of the lot. A road ran along the northern end of the lots. It seemed to cure southward a little to the west and east. I stopped at the end of the driveway, just before the road. We would have to stay here, and i thought that we could sleep in the car for the night. I turned the car to the east and started down the road, which sloped down hill slightly. As i straightened out, i found it hard to turn the car. Something seemed wrong. I tried to control the car, but i could not. I saw the SUV in front of me stray to the south and drive off of the road. I felt frustrated. We had been controlling the SUV remotely, but something had gone wrong with the controls. I complained about the car to my mother. We had been trying to drive the SUV ahead of us so that we would have a car when we got to where we were going. It had failed, though. I was not sure what we should do now, and i told my mother this. I turned around the car that we were driving in, pulling it off the southern side of the road so that another car could drive past from the west. I then turned around. The road we were on had trees on both sides, and it curved to the southeast as it descended a hill. I started back toward the west, talking to my mother about the failed car.

I moved to the southeastern side of the room, looking at the glove that i had pulled onto my left hand. It was a black thick lace glove that seemed to have a fake-leather strap around the wrist. It was a style from the eighties. A small purple piece of fabric was attached to the side of the glove. I stood just to the north of a low table that had other cloths on it. My mother was to the southeast of me, but she seemed to be downstairs, and i seemed to be in the upstairs bedroom of my grandmother’s house. I felt excited, and i picked up some of the other clothes on the table. I was trying out some costumes. My mother said something to me, and i replied as i picked up a magenta wig and tried it on. I was humored by the costumes here, and i was supposed to wear some for an event, which seemed to be to the west. My mother then said something about food, and i looked to the southeast to see her cooking bacon on my grandmother’s stove. She was making breakfast. I told her that i would be there to eat.

12020 April 12

I could hear the sounds of the music as i walked to the east, down the sidewalk on the northern side of the street. I had been recording sound to the west, and someone else had been working with me. A gas station or other open cement lot was just to the north of me now. As i passed a bank, i heard the sound of the music change. The person i was with had recorded something strange. I laughed at the sound, and i said aloud that we did not need any “space sounds”. Another person was passing me from the east. He probably did not know what i was talking about. I could still hear the electronic tones that the other person had recorded on the tape. It sounded interesting to me. I strayed a little to the northeast, heading across the cement of the lot and entering the small convenience store to the east. We had to get some food before we continued traveling. I was not really that hungry, but i wanted to get some ice cream. I thought that i really should not get any, but i wanted some anyway. I looked through the clear plastic lid of the freezer to the east of me. They had square bars in colorful wrappers on the northern side of the freezer, against the eastern side. They seemed like Ben and Jerry’s bars. I was interested in them, but i thought that i should not get them. I then turned to the south, looking in the other freezer, which also had a glass lid. The space around me seemed small, and another person was also looking in the freezer. We seemed to change positions as i looked in the freezer to the south. I thought that i would get one of the ice-cream bars from the freezer to the south. The ones there were generic brands, but they would be good enough. I saw the bars on the eastern end of the freezer, against the southern wall, but they were vanilla. They were round and had square indentations like a Belgian waffle. I had wanted a flavor with other things in it, but this brand only had vanilla. I mentioned this to no one in particular, and i moved back to the freezer to the east, thinking that i would buy the name brand one in the light-blue foil wrapper that had a colored picture across the bottom of it. I thought that i would get something with peanuts and chocolate in it. I turned to the west to pay for the ice cream. I also had to pay for something else that we had had. I had not paid correctly, though, so i had to pay the man now. I was standing in a narrow aisle, and the man was standing to the west of me. I told him that i was going to pay for the drink. I realized that i had not mentioned the ice cream, and i wondered if i should. I did not have the ice cream with me. The man asked me what else i had purchased, and i told him i would be buying the drink and i had already taken milk. I knew that i had not taken milk, but i thought that i had to mention something else that we had purchased. I felt nervous as i pulled out my wallet to pay. I was going to give the man some cash. The man asked me if i had picked out a half gallon of milk. I thought for a moment, and said that was correct. I knew that i had not taken any milk, but i had to say something, and telling him that i had a small container was better than telling him that i had taken a gallon. It meant that i would not have to pay as much. The man thought a moment, and then said that the milk was fifty cents. I thought that it was not a bad price for something i was not getting, and it was about the same price as what i had not yet paid for. I opened up my wallet, with was a thin leather wallet. It was empty. I felt annoyed, and asked where my cash was. I told the man that i would have to come back with the cash. I felt frustrated as i walked to the west. I thought that i could have paid with a credit card, but it would have been such a small price to charge. I then realized that i did have my license in my wallet. It did not make sense that i had nothing else in my wallet. I felt confused. I walked back to the west, not sure what to do. I thought that i had to go get my cash, but i thought that i had everything i needed in my wallet. I then thought that the brown wallet i had was not my normal wallet. I could not figure out what was wrong.

The man stood to the south of us in the building, which seemed like a tourist area. He was describing the device that he had built. I felt a little impatient with the man. $Z stood to the east of me. I thought that the man was raving. He told us how the machine would listen in on the secret conversations of the government. He seemed to be talking about a conspiracy theory. I looked up at the large wooden device as the man described it. It was shaped like a wooden revolver, with different tones of wood making up the different sections. The device seemed pivot from an axis on the second floor of the building. We stood in a large open area of the northern half of the room. The domed wood ceiling curved down to the north, ending at a wall of wide windows. The southern half of the room was divided into two floors, with an open balcony at the top. The domed wooden ceiling curved down toward the southern wall as well. The western, eastern, and southern walls all had windows as well, but they did not seem to cover as much area windows on the northern wall. The man pointed to the north, saying that the conspirators were doing bad things. A city seemed to be to the north-northeast of us, and i thought that he was pointing in that direction. The device turned upward, spinning around where the trigger would be on the pistol. It pointed to the east, and then the barrel tipped down and swinged below the floor level. I thought that the device had to do this so that it could point to the south. The man stood on the balcony to the south of us, raving about what he would detect. The room seemed to be full of tourists, who were looking out the windows or sitting around the small cafe tables that were scattered on the lower floor and on the white floor of the balcony. The man then turned back to his device. I turned to the north, talking to $Z. I told him that i did not think that the man knew what he was talking about. I watched the wooden device swing its end back down below the floor on the southern side of the building and then tip up and northward. The device came to a rest on a long flat platform, which was raised slightly on the western side of the balcony. I told the man that the device was designed like a telescope. I turned a little to the east to start walking away I told the man that the device pivoted like a large telescope, except that the axis was not aligned to anything. I thought that the axis might just be aligned with the building. I watched as the wooden thing came to a rest on the platform. I then turned to the east and started walking with $Z. I thought about the wooden thing, and then i asked why the instrument would need to have such a wide range of motion, I said that it was a listening device, so it had no need of pointing down into the ground or up into the air. It would only really need to rotate in a circle around the horizon. I then considered that it might be receiving radio waves from satellites, and i told $Z this as we left the building. We were then to the south of the building, on a grassy lawn. The grass seemed dry or not quite alive from the season. The land all around us seemed very flat, and we were on a slight rise.

The man asked about the number, and i stepped toward the car to look. The car seemed very old. It had a rounded shape and seemed to have fenders like a car from the fourties. The back of the car was open as a hatchback. The door was swinged upward. The space inside seemed to be filled with something, but the pale-green interior walls were visible near the top of the car. The ceiling curved down sharply just inside the car. $A14 was to the south of me, and the car was to the east, facing east. $A14 asked me about the license number of the car. I stepped under the raised door of the hatchback and looked at the number near the ceiling of the car. The number seemed to be engraved in a small metal plate that was on the southern end of the ceiling, facing west. I leaned in and looked at the number. It started with a V followed by a hyphen. The middle part was a four- or five-digit number that ended with six. The series then ended with another hyphen and the number two. As i was reading the numbers, i was aware of the door of the car over my head. It seemed to be falling down. I stepped toward the car so that i did not bump my head, but the door was closing behind me. I felt annoyed that the other person was closing the door. I could then feel the door pressing on my back, squeezing me in the car. It did not hurt, and i did not feel unsafe. I thought that the other person was pushing the door closed as a prank. I read the last of the numbers and tried to back out of the car, but the door was still pushing on me. $A14 then described the door by comparing it to a viper that was crushing its prey. I was not amused by the joke, and i pushed backward, opening the door. I turned to the south and told $A14 about the number. He then started talking about the significance of the wallet that was in the old car. I thought that we should keep the number somewhere in the car. I turned back to the east, moving to the north, into the car. I was now stepping in through the passenger’s door. The ceiling just above the windshield was curved and high, and i saw several black hooks where the wallet items had been kept. I told $A14 that we should keep the papers there so that we did not lose them. I thought that i should make sure that i still have my wallet with me. The other people were talking, and this had something to do with a bank. I realized that there was a leg across my chest and above my head. I now seemed to be lying on my back in the place that used to be the passenger’s seat. Someone was standing to the east of me, talking about the wallet, and another man was to the south of me. The man to the south had his leg over my chest, and i tried to push it over my head. He did not have pants on, and i thought that he was trying to put his genitals near my face. I felt annoyed with him. He was $A598, and he worked at this bank. I backed away, and they started talking about the construction project on the bank. I started walking to the west as they mentioned this to me. I replied, saying something about the job. $A598 then said that the man had not finished what he was supposed to do. I looked at the open lot to the west of the building. I could that a shallow trench had been cut around the perimeter of the rectangular area. Most of the trench had been filled with dirt. This seemed to be the problem. The people were supposed to fill the depression with dirt to finish the job, but they never did. I said that they probably ordered two things of dirt, thinking that it would be enough. I thought that each thing would be fourty-eight units of measure. I then thought that that amount of dirt would be very small. I guessed that the people must have ordered half the amount that they thought that needed. I then saw the image of the map of the area. It was on a pale-orange background, and the edges of the lot were drawn with thin white lines. I told the others that the construction contractors were probably ordering the gravel based on what was printed on the map, but the map was not accurate to the size of the lot. This was where they were making their mistake. It seemed to make sense that they were trying to fill the map area rather than filling the actual area, so they were not ordering the amount of gravel that they needed. I turned back to the east as the others said that what i had said made sense.

I felt angry with the young men. They had done something earlier, and a few of them had just walked out of the store and headed into the parking lot. I was to the north of the store, in front of the entrance. Three or four of the young men had walked to the north, into the parking lot. They got into a black truck and started driving north. The lanes in the parking lot ran east to west, and they would have to drive to the exit of the lot, which as in the center of the eastern side. I followed the men and got into a blue pickup truck, which had been parked just to the east of the black truck that the men got into. The blue truck belonged to the some of the young men. I drove north, crossing the entrance of the lot. The men in the black pickup truck could see me as i drove in front of them, crossing their path. I knew that they would be upset that i was driving their friend’s truck. They continued driving to the east, heading for the exit. I drove to the north, not sure where do go. A small store was in the northeastern corner of the parking lot, and i drove to the west of it. I then turned the truck to the west, crossed the northern side of the lot, and headed back to the south. The parking lot was mostly empty, and i was heading through the cars. When i reached the southern end of the western side of the lot, i turned back to the east, driving along the front of the store. I thought that i would park the truck back where i had found it. I then noticed the three or four young people to the north of me. A man was staring at me with surprise. A woman stood to the west of him, and another young woman was to the north of him. The man was the person who owned the truck. The other people had come out of the store. I had thought that i could just park the truck and they would not know that i had driven it. I wondered what i should do now. I turned to the north again, not sure i should park the truck where it had been. I drove to the northeast, in the open space. I then turned the truck back around toward the store. The people were not in front of the store anymore, but i thought that they were still near the western end of the northern side of the building. I parked the truck in a space that seemed to be to the east of where it had been parked. I was not that close to the store building, so it would be obvious that the truck had been moved. The white face of the store seemed to be surfaced with textured stucco. The eastern side extended about three meters to the north of the rest of the store. The entry door was just to the west of where the eastern section ended. The building was tall enough to have two floors, but it seemed like a one-story department store. I felt nervous about the people whose truck i had taken. I thought that they would come after me. I parked in the spot to the east of the rest of the cars, because i thought that they might not notice it right away. As i stopped the car, i thought that they would be coming toward me, but i did not see them. They seemed to be behind some of the other parked cars. I could hear them talking. One of the women was telling the man “He could be a convicted criminal.” She seemed to be talking about me as she told the man something. They were deciding what to do. I thought that they would report me to the store. I left the truck and walked to the east, keeping the truck between me and where i thought the others were. The woman was trying to convince the man of something. I looked back and did not see them, so i turned to the south and headed toward the building. I walked quickly, hoping to get out of their site near the building before they spotted the truck. As i reached the building, i still did not see them, so i headed for the entrance to the store.

12020 April 15

We moved to the east, across the large room. Someone was leading us, and i thought that we had to do something here. I thought that the person leading us was an instructor, and she was going to show us some exercise. $F4 was walking with me, and i joked with him about something. We were supposed to be learning how to dance here, so i pretended to dance with him. I put my left hand up in the air and put my right around his waist. We then tried to move in steps together. I realized that this was a waltz, so i told $F4 that a waltz was in three-four time. I thought that this would help count out the steps, but we still did not seem to be moving together. I was aware that the instructor was watching us from the east. I tried to move around the eastern side of $F4, continuing to dance. We both thought the movement was funny and were trying to bounce in step to the music.

12020 April 16

I was working on the eastern side of the room, getting the papers together. I had been doing work for $A14. He was to the west of me, sitting on the eastern side of a small counter in the center of the room, facing north. A woman stood on the western side of the counter, talking to him. The counter was a small square counter, which seemed to be a laboratory table. The woman was talking about someone, and she seemed to be joking about the person. She told $A14 that the person had talked about his job and said that he wanted to “elevate” himself. She emphasized the word “elevate”. I knew that the man worked for a company called Elevate, so i thought that she was trying to make a pun. She then said several other things, emphasizing specific words in those sentences as well to point out the puns. Two of the references were to numbers. I tried to focus on one of the numbers, thinking that it was important, but i knew that the woman was not talking to me, so i tried to act like i was not really paying attention to them. I stacked the papers on the counter to the west of me and said something to $A14. I had to go somewhere to file the papers, and i told him that i would be heading out of the office. He replied. I headed to the north to leave the laboratory. The woman continued to talk to $A14, and i felt a little uneasy about her. I walked down the hall to the east, where the main office of the college department seemed to be. I kept thinking about the woman and what she was trying to say. She was implying something in the way she stressed the words, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I then headed back to the west. People were gathering at the western end of the hallway. I entered the atrium, which opened up on the southern side of the hallway. The people were gathered to the west of me. I saw the set of stairs that rose in a vertical column on the southern side of the hallway, on the western end of the room. The corridor of the atrium seemed to run along the outer walls, so it ran to the north and west of the stairs. The stairs were in short flights and turned tightly back and forth so that the rising column seemed no more than three meters long and two meters wide. The runners and railings of the stairs were formed of thick planks of shellacked tan wood. I would have to head up the stairs. The first flight rose to the south from the northern side of the atrium, just to the east of the second flight. People were gathered near the bottom of the stairs and all around the column. They were chatting to one another as they were waiting for the event to start. Most of them seemed to be facing south, where the event would happen. As i reached the stairs, i noticed a tray of plastic cups to the west of me. The people seemed to be drinking soda-pop and other things from the table to the north. I decided that i wanted a glass of water, so i moved toward the table to get a cup. Plastic soda-pop bottles were around the stack of clear plastic cups, which had a slightly reddish tint and seemed to have the plastic bag around them still. I paused for a moment to look at the cups. I then took one, thinking that i could fill it at the drinking fountain to the southwest of me. I moved around through the crowd, feeling a little out of place here. I then headed to the east, through a room that seemed like the dining room to my grandmother’s house. My father said something from the bedroom to the south. I acknowledged him as i headed into the kitchen, which seemed like the hallway where i had been to take the papers. I stopped when i heard a susurrus from the northeast. I stopped. The room was darkened, but i could see well. I looked down the short corridor to the north, realizing that the rustling was probably my grandmother in bed. Her bedroom seemed to be on the western side of the hallway. I backed up a little, thinking that i was hungry. I opened the refrigerator, which as just to the north of me now. I had eaten something before, and i was not sure what to eat now. I felt that there was no food that i liked in the house; most of it had already been eaten. I then thought that my grandmother was not taking care of herself, and she probably did not have much good food like she used to. I held the freezer door open and stared into it, thinking that there was nothing that i could eat.

I had been with the others in this but, but i was now walking to the northwest, along the southern side of the room. I was near the southeastern side of the room. The long bar ran from the western wall, extending across most of the southern side of the room. The exit to the pub was to the west of me. Just after i had rounded the eastern end of the bar and started to the west, i looked to the northeast, over the surface of the counter. The counter and southern side of the room did not seem lighted, but the center of the room was well illuminated. In the center of the room, i could see people sitting around small round tables. An orangish light illuminated them. This place seemed familiar. I thought that i had been here before with $A682 and some of his concert friends. As i headed toward the door, i noticed a round sign on the bar to the north of me. It had a textured white background with a dark border. The letters were thin and fancy, spelling out the name of the bar. I recognized the bar by name as the one i had been in before. $Z was walking with me, and was now to the northeast of me. I stopped to the south of the sign and told him that we were in New York City, where i remembered being in this bar before. This did not seem right, though. We should have been in New England, somewhere near Rhode Island, not in New York City. A female waiter stood behind the counter now. I motioned to the sign and asked her if we were in New York City, mentioning the name of the bar. I implied that i knew that this bar was in New York. She said that these bars were all over, and she mentioned a few cities, including LA. I told her that i did not know that this restaurant was part of a chain. Other people i had et were now here. They were from the concert crowd. I thought that they had come to town for a show and were hanging out now. $A448 was with these people, and i said hello to him. He stood to the north of me. $A437 was then to the west of me. He stood rather close to me, and he said that he wanted to talk to me. He seemed very serious about something. I noticed a strange brown slash mark running diagonally across his face, from the right side of his chin up across his left brow. Something seemed wrong, and i wondered what to do. $A448 seemed uneasy. I wandered to the east along the southern side of the area. The area now seemed to be outdoors, thought there was a wall running along the northern side of the area and something just to the south of me. The center of the area to the north of me had a dirt surface, and people were gathered in small groups. I thought that they were waiting for the concert, which seemed to be to the east or northeast. I noticed a short circular area just to the northeast of me, on the southern side of the area. Thick cylindrical columns that stood about a meter and a quarter tall formed the circle. They were about three-quarters of a meter thick and mostly black, looking like stacked tires. They had thick cogs in rings around sides. The cogs seemed to be painted metallic gray. $Z was following me, and i motioned to the ringed columns, saying that it had something to do with the concert. I knew that this was something for a Tori Amos show. Just past the ring of columns was a group of people who were standing in a circle. They were getting ready for the performance. A man on the western side of the circle spinned around, and it reminded me of the gears on the columns. The group was going to do some performance during the show. I continued walking to the east. The square to the north of me was now crowded with people, and it was sunny out, with a blue sky. I had come here with my parents, but i had wandered north, leaving them in the pub. As i walked through the area, i suddenly realized that my mother might be worried about where i was. I had wandered away without saying anything. I thought that i should get back to my parents, but i was so fascinated with this place and continued to wander to the east. I stopped and looked at the buildings around me. They seemed northern Mediterranean in design. The square to the northwest of me was packed with people, and people filled the walkway to the east. The cement walkway ran east and curved to the north along the short off-white stucco wall. People were crowded along the wall, looking out over the cliffs to the east and southeast. A large white building was to the south of me, and i thought that it was at the edge of the cliff. A similar building was to the northeast of me, at the northern end of the short wall. I wanted to look out over the old city from the cliffs, but i turned around to head back west to join my parents. I looked to the northwest and north. A hill ran up just to the north of the white building to the northeast of me, and its ridge ran to the west from the building. The steep hill was covered with trees, and the western end curved south a little. The western end sloped steeply down to the south. A rounded bowl was to the south of the hill, and it seemed empty of people. A read seemed to run along the top of the hill. I could not see into the center of the recessed area from where i was. I liked this area and wanted to see more of it, but i felt that i had to get back. I walked to the west, entering the northern side of the pub through a door in the northern end of the eastern wall. My parents were sitting on a bench along the northern wall of the crowded pub. I told them of the sights of the city and said that i wanted to go explore.

I was in the room on the southern side of the building, but the others were leaving to do something. They left to the east. I started jogging with them to the east. We were running down the center of the street, which seemed to be an open square. I suddenly realized that my knee was not hurting as i ran. I felt good about this. It was a sunny day, and i followed the others. I wondered how far i should go. My knee had been hurting, so i thought that i should not go for too long a distance. I thought about the route i would be taking. I thought that i would follow the path to the southeast, through the center of the city, and then loop south and west. I pictured the straight line to the southeast and the long arc that brought me back to the south of it. I passed through the crowd at the eastern end of the square. At the end of the sidewalk, we entered the street. A road ran along the northern side of the eastern end of the square, and the paved surface of the walkway narrowed and ended with a rounded end. Another street on the southern side came toward the intersection, which was still to the east of us. I looked down at the asphalt of the street, seeing that we were following a crosswalk into the intersection. It seemed that the corner of the sidewalk to the south of us was farther to the east than the end of the plaza we had been running on, and the crosswalk we were on ended on another crosswalk that ran to the north from the corner to the south. We stopped on the second crosswalk, waiting to head south. A person stopped to the east of me and faced south, jogging in place. I looked down for a moment. I then started moving to the southeast, but i had sat down on the rolling desk chair. I started rolling the chair to the southeast. I was now in a pub, which seemed old and rundown. I realized that i probably should not have taken the chair, and i though that the people in the bar would not want me taking the chair with me. Two men rushed after me and grabbed the back of the chair, stopping me. I got up. The two men were Anthony Kiedis and Flea.

12020 April 21

I entered the floor of the building from the stairwell on the southern end of the western side of the building. This building seemed like Mudd Hall. I was returning to my office here. I crossed the wide corridor on the western side of the building, heading northeast. I had to head to the east, down the corridor on the northern side of the building. As i walked north, a man came out of a doorway on the western side of the corridor. I had walked in front of him as he exited the room, and i hurried past him, passing close to him. He followed me to the east, down the corridor on the northern side of the building. I did not think that i knew him, but it occurred to me that i had cut in front of him as i walked past the doorway. He followed me closely as i walked eastward. I then stopped at a doorway in the southern wall of the corridor. The door was to my office. As i stopped to open the door, the man came to the west of me and hugged me from the side. I realized that i must know the man. I turned to look at him, and he smiled back at me, but i did no recognize him. He kept smiling as he walked around me to the north and continued down the corridor to the east. I wondered who he was and how i knew him. I then opened the door and walked to the south, into the office. I stopped just inside. $A14 was sitting on the western side of the room, behind a lab table. A woman stood to the southeast of him, at the southern end of table. $A14 had been talking to her. He said something to me, but i realized that i was still doing something for him. I was still holding the folders in my hands. I told him that i had to go do something, and i headed back out of the office. I then thought that i had been in the wrong office. I had to take the papers to the main office, which was to the east. Just before i left the room, i looked at the desk that was on the northern wall, just to the west of the doorway. I checked for something on the surface of the desk, but i felt that i should really be getting to the main office. I wondered why i had come into room. It seemed strange that i had.

12020 April 22

I was in the northeastern side of small shop, and i moved to the southwest. The store was crowded with display shelfs, which seemed mostly to be cubical shelfs stacked on top of each other. I was looking at items in store. I was aware of a woman and a man to west of me as i reach the southern side of store and started to the north again, near western side. I stopped when i noticed the pots and pans that were stacked on one of the display boxes to the west of me. The pans on the top of the display were stacked inside each other, and the stack formed a shallow cone. They were red and seemed to be made of plastic. I then noticed a metal set of pots below the shelf, near the floor. I crouched down to look at the metal set, thinking that they were nicer than the plastic ones. I pulled the lid off the top pot from the lower section to see how the pots looked. I was not really interesting in buying pots, but i felt interested in the pots. I pulled several of small bowl-shaped pots out of the stack to look at them. I then noticed that one of the medium-sized bowls was stained. It had an oily smear on the western side of the bowl. I decided that it would not be good to buy the pots. I started to put the stack back into the tray, but i decided that i should leave them on the floor so that someone else could see the oil stain. The bowls should not be sold like that. I moved to the west to tell the woman that the bowls were dirty.

12020 April 24

I walked into the western end of Mudd Hall, entering the north-to-south corridor on the western end. I headed to the north up the corridor, but noticed the glass windows on the eastern wall of the corridor. Through the dirty windows i could see plants and other things growing in the room within. A man sat in the room, and i thought that i knew him. He seemed like $A796 or $A797. He was sitting on the northern side of the room facing north, toward a counter that ran along the northern wall. He sat on a stool, with his legs out to the sides. I walked to the south a little way and opened the door to the room. The room inside seemed open, even though i knew that it was full of plants. The area was enclosed to keep the plants in a specific environment. It was a giant terrarium. I said something to the man, but continued to the east, into the depth of the room. I felt very interested in this place. I walked along the northern wall, to the north of a short bed of plants. A wooden branch leaned across the open space in front of me, leaning from the wall to the center of the room. I thought that people could create spaces to hide among all of the plants. I passed a corner in the northern wall, where the wall became farther to the north than it had been. The part i had just passed seemed like another room on the northern side of the larger room, but this part had a wall with the corridor to the north. I was aware of a window to the north, and i thought that people could look into the room to see different parts. I liked the idea that someone could hide deep within the room and not be seen from the outside, though. People could come here and create the hidden spaces to hide. It would encourage others to try to find the places. I continued to the east and turned to the south as the aisle that i was in ended in a white wall. The words came into my mind, saying something “has been stripped away. The chowder has been dipped away.” It seemed like good lyrics.

12020 April 25

I was driving the car to the south, down the road that ran along the eastern shore of the long lake. This seemed like Cayuga Lake. The eastern shore was grassy and high above the water. Cliffs seemed to be just to the east of me, and i could see out over the water. I knew that the town was to the southeast of us, but i could not see it around a curve in the lake shore. I remembered these cliffs from before. I remembered that there is a road that descends the cliffs in a certain area and meets up with a road that runs along the lake. The cliffs seemed to be very high there, and i pictured them with gray flat sedimentary rocks on the edges. This cliff seemed to be at the northwestern corner of Cayuga Heights. I wondered where that steep cliff was now, and i told $Z that it was to the west of us. I pictured the road that ran out to it and then down. The road would follow the lake shore, passing small houses and crossing swampy ground. The road we were on headed to the south, toward the town. A cliff now seemed to be to the east of us, and i noticed that the road we were on was descending the western side of a gorge. Looking ahead, i could see the town across a small bay from us. The road that had run along the lake shore curved to the southwest of us and crossed the road that we were on to the south. We were on a road that ran along the railway, which was in a deep ravine. The train tracks were to the north of us. As we neared the other road, the top of the ravine descended toward us. The road that crossed in front of us passed over an old stone bridge at the southern end of the ravine. The bridge was made of a pinkish-tan stone, and it was about ten meters above the tracks. I could see suburban houses on top of the cliff to the northeast. A small building was directly to the east of us, on top of the cliff to the west of the bridge. It had a green tiled roof that was rather shallow, and it seemed like an old train station. Utility lines ran down the track over our heads, and everything about this place seemed old but still in use. The road we were traveling on had ended on the southern side of the railway, but a steep drive was cut into the cliff wall on the northern side of the railway. It ran up to the eastern end of the bridge. I could see the top of it, where it seemed to be wide steps. We would have to cross the tracks to head up the steps. I headed to the north, and $F12 followed me. He passed me and jumped up onto the drive, which was about a meter off the ground to the north of us. I climbed up the rock embankment as well. The drive was actually a set of steps. Something about this area felt very comfortable. I remembered this place from long ago, and i liked being here.

12020 April 26

I had been talking with the others in the room on the western end of the building, but we had started to leave. I walked to the east, down the corridor of the building, which seemed like a school. I was carrying some things in my hands, and i thought that i would have to recycle them. I chatted with the person walking just to the south of me, who seemed to be a teacher. I noticed a bin or box against the southern wall of the corridor ahead, and i stopped to put some things in it. It was the recycle bin. The bin was about a meter tall and a little over a meter wide, and it seemed to be made of cardboard. The front seemed open. I dropped a glass container in the bin and heard it break on the floor. I realized that things within the container were stacked according to the different types of glass or plastic that they were made from. I mentioned this as i put some clear-glass bottles on the eastern side of the bin, stacking with some others on small cardboard trays. I looked down to see the two clear-glass bottles that i had dropped into the bin at the bottom. One had shattered. I did not want to clean it up, so i just put some of the other things in the bin. I chatted with the person with me, who seemed like a teacher that i knew. I then walked to the east, where the stairs were at the end of the corridor. We descended and headed down the narrow corridor to the east. As we reached the bottom of the stairs, i noticed the living room to the south. It seemed like a fancy room, and i thought that this was the house over the lake. Something about the corridor seemed like the passageway of a boat. People were to the west of us talking about something as we stopped in the middle of the corridor. A double set of white metal doors was to the south of us. I thought that it must lead to one of the other rooms of the house on the cliff. This building bordered the old house, and the old house was merged into the building that we were in. I spoke to $Z, who was with me in the corridor. Two other people were talking to the older man with the white beard, who was to the west of us. I said something about this place to the other person. The man with the beard seemed to be describing this place to the other people. I told $Z about the clock in the living room, but he did not seem to remember it. I told him that it was a room that we had just walked past. I said that it might be part of the mansion that borders this house. He did not seem to know what i was talking about, so i walked with him back down the corridor to the east. I stopped in the doorway to the living room, which was a narrow doorway in the metal southern wall of the corridor, a few meters from the bottom of the steep stairway that we had descended. The room was very narrow. It had a chair facing north near the eastern end of the southern wall. The chair had a high back and was cushioned. An oriental rug seemed to be on the floor in the center of the eastern part of the room, and something like a couch seemed to be on the northern wall, thought i could not see it from where i stood. The room widened a little on the western side. The southern wall curved to the south directly across from the doorway. A small fireplace was just to the west of the slanted wall. The simply fireplace had a white wooden mantle and frame. A mantle clock with a round body and wide base was on the western side of the mantle. A narrow corridor ran from the western end of the room, flush with the southern wall. I thought that it led to the rest of the house. Everything in this room seemed very fancy and old. The plain off-white walls were plaster and seemed dull with age. Something about this place seemed very familiar, and i wanted to know here i had seen these things before.

I drove down the road to the east. This place seemed like Latham. I had not been here in a long time, and i was visiting the area again. The road that we were on was very wide, with four lanes and a turning lane in the center. I thought that i would look for the apartments where i had been living when i was young. I knew that they were on the northern side of the street. A building was to the north now, and i pulled into the turning lane to turn north on the street just past it. I thought that it might be the street that led to the apartments. A car was coming from the east, so i stopped in the intersection to wait for it to pass. The road to the east rose up a shallow hill and turned slightly to the northeast. I could only see about a hundred meters before the crest of the hill. The dark car passed me and i started to turn, but i could see more cars coming. I would have to wait for them. I wondered why i had not seen them coming before. I had only seen the one car on the road before. I then realized that my car still seemed to be moving forward. I thought that it might be turning in front of the other cars. I stopped it from moving, but i felt annoyed that it continually seemed to be turning. I had to wait for the other cars to pass before i could turn.

12020 April 27

I had been walking to the northwest on the road in the rural area. The last around me was mostly open, but trees were in the distance. This area of the road seemed like a commercial district, with large stores and businesses set back from the road. It was getting dark out, and i was not sure that i was heading in the correct direction. I tried to remember where i was supposed to go. I decided to turn back, and i started walking back to the southeast on the street. A large worn parking lot was on the northeastern side of the street. The shops here seemed to be closed, and i wondered where i was supposed to go. I looked at the quiet stores on both sides of the street. I then noticed a police car coming from the northwest. The officer watched me as the car drove past. I felt wary of the officer, wondering if he was going to stop me because i was not from here. As the car past, i looked to the southeast, at the large shopping plaza off the side of the road. The plaza had been closed a while ago, and the stores seemed to be boarded up. I headed back to the north. It was daylight again. I looked down at the piece of notebook paper in my hand, which had a name written on it. It was the name of the place i was trying to find. I had told the officer that this was where i was trying to go, and i could hear the officer’s voice describing the place as Texas near Louisiana. This seemed far away, but i wondered if it was correct. The names did not seem like names of states or towns but more like street names. I turn to the north and started walking down a second road. The road crossed a bridge about twenty meters ahead of me. I turned back to the south, trying to figure out where i was. I was only ten or fifteen meters from the wide northwest-to-southeast road that i had been walking on. A low rounded forested hill rose to the south. Its features were darkened because the sun was low behind it. The arms of two cranes reached up from the ground, almost directly to the south of me. They formed a large V against the sky. This seemed familiar, and i thought that i had been this way before. I would have to try to figure out where i had gone the last time i was here. I focused on the details of the area, hoping that i would recognize something, but this place seemed new to me.

I rode the motorcycle to the south on the highway. The land around me was mostly low rolling hills. I knew that i needed to stop for gas, and i thought that i had forgotten about it earlier. I had driven past the gas stop on the highway. I knew that i could make it to the exit, thought, and i thought that i would get gas in the town. I then wondered if it would be more expensive in the town. I was then headed to the west on the street, heading into the small down. I looked at the gas station on the northern side of the road, surprised to see that it had closed. I thought that it was getting late, so maybe the gas stations were closing for the evening. I then thought that they might have been closed for the pandemic rather than just for the evening. I kept riding to the west, but i started to feel uncertain. I was not sure where i would go to get gas from here. The building on the sides of the road here seemed to be old houses with wide lawns. The one on the northern side of the street was Gothic in style, with white walls and dark trim. It seemed that the road to the west would be leaving the town, so i thought that i would have to go back to the center of town to find gas. I walked back to the east along the northern side of the street. The highway overpass was just ahead of me, and i walked under it. The cement of the bridge was old and dirty, and the area under the overpass seemed overgrown and littered. I glanced back to the west, watching a car pass as i started to cross the street. The street was now divided by a median of weeds under the center of the bridge. A stone retaining wall was on the southern side of the street, across from me. As i crossed the northern lane, i noticed that the dirt median was wide enough for a small parking area. I crossed through the dry weeds of the narrow area, heading for the southern lane. I felt uncertain, though, not sure where i was going. As i crossed the southern lane of the street, i was in a business district of the small town. I was on a town street, where the buildings bordered the road. The shops seemed closed, and a few people were walking past quickly. I asked two people, a man and a woman, where i could go for gas. They glared at me with animosity as they hurried past to the east without saying anything. I felt uneasy here. I started walking back to the west on the southern side of the street. I tried to remember how i could get out of the town. I remembered a short street that headed south. It should have been just to the waste of me. I felt angry with the people, and i started to feel frustrated. I had to get out of here. I walked down the corridor to the west, feeling panicked that i could not find a way out of the pub that i was in. I asked no one where the door was. When i could not find an answer, i yelled the question again to the walls around me. No one answered, so i yelled again, asking where the exit was. I felt trapped, but i suddenly woke up. I was lying in a bed that extended from the southern wall of the room, which seemed like a dormitory. I realized that i must have been yelling in my sleep, and i wondered if i had disturbed the people around me. I hoped that no one had heard me. A curtain was to the north of me, and i sat up in the bed. I propped my head up, wondering what to do. I thought that i must have disturbed the others. I then heard someone say something to the east of me. I felt bad for waking them.

12020 April 30

I came into the roof from the west, walking along the northern side of the room. The people were gathered on the northern side of the room. They were actors, and they were preparing for a performance. I stood on the western side of the group, chatting to some of the actors. I thought that they were doing the play for the director, who seemed to be somewhere to the northwest, outside the room. I remembered that he was the mean director and that he would always yell at the players. I chatted with the others, thinking that i used to like being in plays. I felt a little sad that i was not part of this play. A set of stairs ascended to the west along the northern wall, with the foot of the stairs just to the northwest of us. The players in the room were practicing for a Shakespeare play. I thought again about the director, who complained about the actors. I thought that he was upstairs with some of the other actors. A few of the actors then came down the stairs. They started talking to some of the other people in the room. I felt a little out of place here, and i suddenly wondered why i was here. I was not part of this play. The actors who had come down from upstairs seemed stressed. I sat in a chair on the western side of the room, watching the actors who had just entered the room talk to the actors who had been here. I noticed one of the actors, who was sitting in a chair on the northern side of the room, near the bottom of the stairs. He sat just to the southwest of the end of the stairs. He seemed familiar. Listening to the actors who had entered the room, i thought that the scene was not going well upstairs. A few more actors descended the stairs. I wandered to the east, leaving the house. I was aware that a group of actors was following me. They were not the same cast that i had been talking to. They were from a different performance. We were heading to the other area. I wondered if the others wondered why i was there. I felt out of place, because i was not part of the play. I walked ahead of the group as we headed to the west, approaching the southern side of a large building. The building seemed like a college building, and it had a modern design. The lower level of the building had large glass windows along the southern side. The southern side of building had a corner in the center of it, and the two sides sloped back to the north a little. A balcony was on the second floor of the building, in the center. It had a thin white metal railing. I floated up toward the second floor, floating over the railing of the balcony. I looked down at the white tiles on the balcony floor. It felt good to fly. I then heard one of the people who were following me complain that i was entering someone’s private space. I realized that i probably should not have been on the balcony, so i floated away from the building, heading to the southwest. It felt very good to fly again. I spread my arms out and spun around in the air as i floated in an arc from the south to the east. I was dancing in the air. I floated to the east, moving toward a large tree with a wide crown. I then started feeling that the person who had commented on my flying was upset with me, because i was able to fly so easily. I thought about this as i floated near the ground and started walking to the west, into the room. A man i knew was in the room. He was East Asian, and i remembered him from somewhere else. I felt upset, though, because i thought that he did not like me anymore. Something had changed between us. I walked toward him, thinking that i would pass close to him as i walked through the doorway to enter a small bedroom at the back of the building. He moved to the west a little, stopping in the doorway and leaning against the northern side of the door frame. I stopped just short of the doorway, looking at his face, which seemed long and flat. I asked if he was the guardian at the door. He smirked and asked if i was referring to Death. I said yes, though i was actually thinking of the guardian of the gateway to the spirit world: Kerberos or Dahak. He smiled and said something to me. He seemed to be flirting with me. I felt distracted. I was attracted to him and thought that he handsome, but i was not interested in doing anything at the moment. He then pushed against me, bending from the waist to lean into me. I did not want to copulate with him at the moment. I noticed that his pants were low on his waist, so i pulled them up and headed to the west, into the room. I then felt strange about what i had done. I knew that i had been very attracted to him in the past, and i still felt an attraction to him. I wondered why i had turned him down now. I thought that i only cared about him when i thought that he was not interested in me. This seemed like a strange thought, and i wondered why i would have thought it. It did not seem like something i would do, but i wondered if it were true. I walked into the living room, which seemed like the living room of my grandmother’s house. Other people were there. I felt upset that i had left the man in the manner that i did. It seemed the wrong thing to do. Another man was in the room with me now, and he seemed to be someone i liked. I felt confused, not sure what i should do.
