I was in my parents’ old bedroom on the second floor of our house. There was something very wrong. I was afraid that something terrible would happen. I knew that there was going to be a nuclear war, and i was worried that the bombs might actually reach our house. I then looked out the small front windows of the bedroom. It was summer out, and the trees were full of leaves. It seemed very warm and humid out. Then i felt that i was in danger. I then saw a large missile drop to the ground on the other side of the road from our house. It buckled and bent as it hit. Then it fell over. I watched it for a moment. I was suddenly very afraid that it would go off. I started to run to the stairs, watching the missile as i moved. As i reached the door to my parents’ room, passing the mirror on my left, i saw a sudden flash from the front yard. The missile had exploded. I felt a sudden shock, as if everything had frozen in time. Then everything was white and i realized that i could not feel or sense anything around me. I felt weightless. I then realized that i had died, and that i was simply floating where the room had been. I was aware that death did not really hurt that much, and that this experience was really not that bad.
